"Their Pizzeria Delfina restaurants are now the meat of the business, and it varies by location: Mission and Polk are making money on takeout and delivery, Palo Alto and Burlingame are breaking even on outdoor dining, and the fate of their new downtown location remains to be seen." - Becky Duffett

Great place for a pizza. Nice restaurant with a good vibe. Staff is very friendly and the pizzas are excellent. The menu is not very big which helps make a quick choice and ensures the products are fresh. Napolitain pizzas with thin crust and great taste.

Was looking for a place to eat with friends who were in town for one night. We walked downtown Burlingame and walked into Pizzeria Delfina. We were able to get a seat quickly, it was Monday around 6pm. We sat outside which was a beautiful sunny day a little windy but they put the heat lamp on and it was beautiful. There were 6 of us and they accommodated which was amazing. We had drinks and ordered the pepperoni pizza, the margarita pizza and a sausage pizza. I also got the gem salad which was incredible. So light and fresh. I would go back for that alone. My hubby had the same plant Parmesan and he raved about it. All the pizzas were delicious too. Great service and quick turnaround. Highly recommend and will be going back!

This place is a mixed bag. First, the good: Their pasta is great. They have proper, authentic carbonara, with eggs (not cream) and guanciale (not panchetta or bacon) which isn't too common in the USA. Since they have "pizzeria" in the name, you'd expect them to have good pizza. They say it's Napoletana pizza, but it's not really. I tried a Margherita. The base is too thin meaning the pizza basically falls apart, while the crust is way too thick and is bland, tasteless, and too dry. Compare the pizza here to somewhere like Doppio Zero, Terun, or Napoletana Pizzeria, which have actual (AVPN-approved) Napoletana pizzas and you'll immediately notice the difference. Finally, they add a 5% junk fee. This is a sneaky way to increase prices in a hidden way, without adjusting menu prices to reflect the actual price of items. This is anti-consumer and I'm taking off one star as a result.

The pizza at Delfina Pizzeria was great, and the arugula salad was equally amazing—super fresh and flavorful! However, the service left much to be desired. Our waitress only checked on us once, and that was when she brought the check. At that point, we asked for butter, but we were told they didn’t have any, which was hard to believe. While the food is definitely worth it, the service could use some improvement.

We ordered the spaghetti and panna pizza. Flavors for both were decent. The presentation of the spaghetti could be better, too little amount of basil and portion was too small! My favorite part of the meal was the sauce on the pizza. And the pizza base was extremely thin, almost like chips-thin. Not very filling though. Crust is thicc and a bit dry and flavorless. It could have been better if they served a side of sauce with it. We ended up with crusts at the end even though we didn’t want to waste anything. Service was extremely slow. Our waitress was not very attentive. She didn’t bother to check on us and we had to ask the hostess to find her. We were seated outside at the window and it was very cold while we waited 15+mins for our food.

Super friendly staff, nice setting, and delicious pizza. Only thing I have to knock is their pomegranate drink, tasted very watered down, would not get that again

My friends and I went to Pizzeria Delfina for dinner. For our main entree, we tried their eggplant parmigiana, housemade gnnochi pasta, and formaggi pizza. The eggplant parmigiana was the best. The portion size of each entree was very generous. The parmigiana sauce was good. The pizza was decent. It had a thin crust. The gnnochi was very dense and greasy, and it didn't come with enough sauce, so part of it felt very bland. For dessert, we tried their panna cotta and tiramisu. Tiramisu was light, and it had a strong espresso/coffee flavor. The panna cotta was tart, and it came with pomegranates. Our server was very nice and friendly. He checked in on us from time to time to make sure we were doing okay.

Love from India 🇮🇳 We travelled from India and discovered this go to pizza stop at Burlingame avenue. You can choose either outside or indoor sitting and if you choose to sit outside, they have heaters around to keep you warm. Food and service is something to be complimented here. I would recommend to choose any non veg pizza from the menu with a glass of wine or beer and enjoy.

Yelp
I've been a fan of Pizzeria Delfina locations in the city. The Burlingame location is smaller but the layout is better. The food was good but service is a bit scattered. Favorite was the pizza and pomodoro. The pasta had a great chew. The salad was a bit salty and small. Prices are on high side for amount of food you get but it's good. Multiple people came and dropped off dessert menus and took awhile for the bill. No outdoor seating Street parking

Yelp
We came here for birthday party that included 19 people and it was an okay experience. The food they served was good and servers were nice and patient. However, we expected to receive the 3 variety pizzas we ordered and instead they just gave us a whole bunch of pepperoni pizzas at once. Not to mention, where they sat us was unbearable hot so we were all sweating while eating our food. Lastly, since they knew our party was coming for a birthday celebration, we expected them to come out with a candle on a plate or small pastry or something to celebrate our birthday, like any normal restaurant would do. And nope, we got nothing. Overall, the experience didn't make us feel special and considering how much money we spent at the restaurant that night and they knew we were celebrating a birthday, we expected a little more effort.

Yelp
Pizzeria Delfina has been a solid spot my family's been going to for the past few years. With that being said - in our most recent visit the quality of the food seems to have dropped off a bit from what I remember. My favorite dishes from our evening were the salsiccia pizza and duck ragu. Everything else seemed to be missing something and just lacked flavor. With that being said, the staff has been and is always so friendly and accommodating each time I've been here. I really hope the food quality improves, I'd love to keep coming back.

Jeannie P.

Yelp
This is a great place if you want some delicious and fancy pizza. It's located in the heart of Burlingame. The ambiance is chic and inviting. The staff is friendly. Service is quick. The food was so delicious and tasted fresh. I ordered beef tripe and it surprisingly yummy! I will continue going back.

Tom T.

Yelp
Came here for a quick bite after checking out the Burlingame tree lighting and Winter Marker. We ordered the saffron arancini, the Star Route Escarole-Persimmon salad, and the clam pie pizza. Honestly I was a bit disappointed at the food. Everything was just OK with lack of flavor. The standouts are the roasted hazelnuts in the salad and the tomato sauce on the pizza. Everything felt overpriced for what you get. I likely won't be back as there are better Italian pizza options throughout Burlingame.

Alex A.

Yelp
Stopped in for pizza and wine. Had the clam pie and it was super salty -- almost inedible and not much else for flavor. Crust was crunchy, almost dry, and lacked chewiness and depth of flavor. Service was slow. Host staff was gracious. Wine = expensive. With all the other pizza choices, I would not recommend this place.

Jill F.

Yelp
Delicious Salciccia pizza and broccoli romanesco - would definitely order these items again. The pizza crust was perfect - crispy on the outside, soft pillowy billowy, airy on the inside, super flavorful sauce and toppings. The broccoli romanesco was cooked perfectly - nice crispy and browned- delicious sauce - yum!!! Waitstaff was super nice and amazing!

Grace C.

Yelp
Easy pastas and pizza. We got a bunch of things to share and a bottle of wine. Service was friendly and ambiance has the same warm summer casual night in burlingame. They are also dog friendly. They use to have a back patio open during covid where the back parking lot is. I enjoyed that more than the street and uncertain why they did not keep that open. Total came to $50/person.

Kacy O.

Yelp
Great service: Friendly and strong customer focus. Great food: delicious, nicely presented and clean flavors. Nice ambiance : high ceilings, pleasant breeze from large open windows.

Yvonne Y.

Yelp
Delfina used to be one of my top 3 pizza spots, but today's meal was deeply disappointing. We started with the Chilled Tripe "Street Cart-Style" and the Saffron Arancini. The tripe was underwhelming--just boiled with a bottle of chili oil and salt on the side. The arancini was simply a fried mozzarella ball; if there was saffron, it was undetectable. I wouldn't recommend either appetizer. For the pizza, we ordered our favorite, the Carbonara, which was unusually salty this time. We also tried the clam pie, which we've enjoyed in the past, but today the red sauce was overly tangy. We each had a slice, and no one touched it again. So disappointing.

Celty C.

Yelp
Pizza was made perfect. I like the thin crust. I would definitely come back and take my family here so we could try other pizzas too. It just takes a while to serve the pizza. Ambiance was good too. Average $25 a pizza (6 slices) good for 2 pax.

Brent S.

Yelp
Second visit to Delfina will be our last. Pizza was very good, service also pleasant and prompt. Then the check arrives and a 5% "owner mandate fee" is added in. I don't even know what that means, but it reeks of core mismanagement where the staff is not paid fairly or the owners just want to skim off the top. Either way, can't support a place that sneaks "mandates" onto a bill under some guise. There are plenty of other great pizzerias in the area that aren't pulling these sneaky up-charges.

Mark C.

Yelp
The pizza crust is so good. Light airy and crunchy. You can't find that very often imo. The other dish that really stands out to me is the eggplant parm. It's more like a lasagna. Servers are very friendly and helpful. Def recommend

Erich L.

Yelp
Good pizza! They make their own sausage in house it's excellent! The dough is very good and chewy. Service is attentive but not too much they leave you alone enough. I tried the sausage salsica and the other was mushroom added sausage both very good. Great relaxing place for a pizza with calm music playing. I like that they use the qr code for the bill if you want to pay by phone. They do add 5 percent for employee mandates. I really don't like that but it's not the fault of them. Overall a great place for pizza.

Lisa S.

Yelp
I came here for lunch with my best friend after walking the farmers market. Every other restaurant seemed packed, but Delfina was almost empty. We sat inside and order the arugula prosciutto pizza and the arancini. Service was a little slow, but the food was good. The arancini was fried hot and was nice and gooey inside with cheese. The pizza was alright, but some of the meat was tough, and it was in pieces that made it hard to eat when biting pizza. If you don't want to wait for something else, it's a solid choice.

Gerald H.

Yelp
My god this place has gone DOWN HILL. the meatballs were SALTY and 2 were undercooked. The pizzas were virtually tasteless. The crust WAS BLAND, HARD, TOUGH and Also tasteless. How is it that pizza can have virtually zero flavor? This shthole is using the dough from the night prior. It is TOUGH as f. 27 dollars for mushy pasta in the duck ragu. We will NEVER be going here again. Place is a piece of sht.

Justin G.

Yelp
I just love this little gem on Burlingame Avenue in California. Good atmosphere great servers knowledgeable. They always have gluten-free pasta and pizza. Definitely worth coming back. Their meatballs are off the hook. Make sure you order them when you go. I had the prosciutto pie. Can't go wrong with this. It's a must order also.

Erica Y.

Yelp
The pizza was good! Our favorite was the funghi and the burrito. They waiters were really patient and sweet with our large group! Ambiance is casual, yet feels like you're out in the town!

Yelp
Love at first bite! We couldn't decide what to get for 'light' dinner as we were in the area. Pizza sounded like a good idea as we could split it easy. We got the white sauce Carbonara Pizza, which had 2 eggs, guanciale and some scallions. We added arugula for some greens and freshness to the rich white sauce and eggs combo. I love that the crust is very thin yet it holds the toppings well and it didn't get soggy. The place was packed on a Wednesday night but we got seated immediately. There seems to be a short wait for those who want outdoor seating. Service is steady and the staff all friendly. We will be back for sure.

Lisa H.

Yelp
Our go to for Italian in our area. Delfina hits the spot everytime. Their salads are next level. So fresh, with the right amount of dressing, packed with vegetables, and beautifully plated. All of their pizzas are chewy with a light crisp and saucy. My favorites are mama pie and salsiccia. Other standouts are their meatballs, rigatoni and gnocchi. Their panna cotta is exactly how I like it. Creamy yet light with strawberries in balsamic glaze. It's always easy to get a last minute reservation or walking in on a whim and finding a table. The no wait is clutch and hard to come across these days.

Yelp
We used to get their pizza all the time, since last year their quality has dropped. Take out pizzas are not the same, their pizza and appetizers taste more salty. Hopefully they can change it back to how it was.

Auggie L.

Yelp
Went for Dinner Food - 4/5. Arancinis were crispy and a beautiful golden brown. Rice had a nice bite to them, was well seasoned and had a slight saffron flavor. Margherita pizza was alright. There was a lot of cheese, but to the detriment of the sauce making for a heavier flavor. The crust was bigger than I'd want and the dough itself was average in both flavor and texture. Service - 2/5. While there were plenty of seats, the host tried to force us onto the bar acting as if there were no seating available. Two different groups of 2 people that came after us asked to be moved to a 4 top with no objection from the service staff so I know there wasn't any reservations. The actual waiter was friendly, courteous and quick to respond. Value - 3/5. The portions on the arancini were great for their price tag of $11. The pizza was disappointing, especially for the hefty price of $18. There is a lot of competition for pizza restaurants in the area and the experience here fell short of expectations. Parking - Street (Metered)

Yelp
Prety good pizza, they have good service and restuarant. Great place to go! I think everybody should go there 1 time.

Haiyang H.

Yelp
Came here with a group of work friends. My work friend picked the spot. So we went. We ordered a bottle of wine (ended it up drinking 2 bottles), some beer for one. Wine was the one with Asian pear note. It was very crisp and yummy. A bit higher on sugar content but tastes great. We ordered burrata, mozzarella fritters and an likely the chilled tripe for appetizers. The fritters were really good. Enjoyed it very much. I am not a big fan of bread and didn't try the burrata. My friends enjoyed the other appetizers. We ordered 3 pizzas to share including the magherita red pie, funghi white pie, and likely the sausage red pie. I ordered the gnocchi with a side of mushrooms, and I think they also ordered the duck ragu to share. Pizzas are of a decent size. I only tried one slice but it was really solid. My friends loved all the pizzas that we ordered. I found my gnocchi to be awesome. I mixed in the mushrooms in the end and it was delicious. We finished with tiramisu and panna cotta. I love the tiramisu. Nicely executed. Their service was friendly but not the fastest. We often time waited and trying to catch people's attention. But we understand it was their prime time also. Their ordering system doesn't work very well. It was difficult for the waiter to find and read out the ordered items for checking. Overall, I might bring kiddos over to try out their pizza and retake the gnocchi. It was pretty nice and seems to be kids friendly.

Kristen L.

Yelp
Came with a friend on a Friday night. We were able to get seated immediately, but the place was pretty busy. We ordered the belfiore burrata as an appetizer, a margherita pizza, and a prosciutto pie pizza. The belfiore burrata came with a large pile of arugala, two crostinis, and the whole thing was drenched in olive oil. None of the flavors worked together to create a cohesive dish and the burrata didn't really taste like anything; all we could taste was the olive oil. Wouldn't recommend this. The margherita pizza was okay. The texture and bounciness of the crust was good, but the actual ingredients on the pizza left much to be desired. The tomato sauce was kind of watery and the mozzarella was tasteless. It didn't taste terrible but it's also not something I'd desire to eat again. The prosciutto pie pizza was also bland. The prosciutto wasn't too salty, though, which I appreciated. All the ingredients were good by itself, but there was a lack of flavor in the dish as a whole that made it not that enjoyable to eat. I'd avoid this pizza in the future. The servers were friendly, and service was fast. There are a couple of parking lots in the area as well as street parking. I don't think I'd come back here.

Helena L.

Yelp
This is a solid casual pizza place for me. If I'm craving a Neapolitan pizza that I can pick up, this is the place. The service was awesome! My waitress was very attentive and had a strong passion for the restaurant. We tried the chilled tripe which was served with chili oil, salt, and lemon. Pro-tip: if you enjoy spicy, use the chili oil on your pizza since it's way spicier than the chili flakes they give you on the spice plate. My two pizzas tasted delicious hot from the oven. The baked lumachine or as my server deemed the "adult Mac n Cheese" came on a iron plate, but I think the pizzas were more the star of the show.

Steve K.

Yelp
It's said that restaurant critics visit a place 3 times before writing a review. This was my second visit to Delfina in a month. So I am getting there. A few reaffirmed opinions: the salads are very good, fresh, tangy, the right amount of dressing. A few new opinions: the pizza, not as good as I remembered it. The pizza this visit was mediocre. Not as good as last trip. We are inside this time. The music was so loud we could barely hear people across the table from me. Bottom line: a really, really expensive pizza meal.

Bob U.

Yelp
Maybe I'm not being generous enough, but I've been here a few times and to me, it's a solid three stars. pizza is good, not outstanding, service is nice, but nothing special, interior is a little crowded and noisy but not unbearable. Prices are a little elevated but that's expected per the brand and location. I'd return if I'm in Burlingame, but wouldn't make a special trip

Fancypants X.

Yelp
Recently dined at Pizzeria Delfina in Burlingame for the first time. Galaxies apart from the San Francisco location of Pizzeria Delfina I frequented 15 years ago. Their signature thin-crust lacked a little crunch & was disappointingly floppy on both our Margherita ($18) & Salsiccia ($22) pies. They didn't skimp on the pizza toppings but the flavors were less robust than I remember. The Insalata Tricolore ($14) has generous shavings of salty grana padano over arugula, radicchio, & endive. It was a fresh & substantial salad, but those pizzas left me pining for what they used to be. Alas, that was (literally) a different time & place. Go to the O.G. location for better pizzas.

Yelp
Decided to check out Pizzeria Delfina for friday night pizza with our toddler. It was easy to make reservations on OpenTable and parking is free after 6 pm in the lot close by. Restaurant was not crowded for friday evening which was surprising but we soon realized that it's probably due to the apathetic service. There was one person who looked like he was in charge and checked on us a few times, but our assigned server completely missed things we asked for 2-3 times and did not seem to care. The menu said the tips are shared among all the staff, maybe thats why? In terms of the food, the corn was very very good. We did not like the margherita pizza, we primarily got it for our kid who loves it at other places and is his go-to but he was just gagging on the lumpy cheese here so we took it out of the pizza. We liked the white pie which was the special for the month. The wine menu looked interesting but the white wine and prosecco both were underwhelming and not cold enough. The tiramisu wasn't great which was disappointing, the soft serve was delicious!

Yelp
Not only once, but the last two times has the service been beyond terrible. Would love to say it was packed, but both times we were seated within 2 minutes to a full restaurant. First time (which I didn't review and let go); waiter NEVER asked if we needed refills (didn't give glasses for us for the lemonade we ordered); never asked if food was okay. Had to flag him down to get to go boxes. Tonight, was it for us. Got seated; waited 15 minutes for our beverages to arrive. Tables seated AFTER us received their orders BEFORE us. Then our orders weren't ready at the same time and got confused with another table. Asked for dessert super quick and was STUCK AT THE TABLE WAITING TO PAY, but our waiter was too busy talking to other waiters downstairs, and I saw it because I was done waiting (and just FYI, ours was the only table with people left upstairs); and was more than halfway down the stairs when the waiter saw it was me walking down with the bill. I am usually understanding which is why I let the first time go and we have been going here as a family support since 2020. Will not be back anytime soon and it's sad to say because the food is always great! Simple to say, service sucks!!!

Yelp
Wanting to try a new pizzeria for a change of pace from my usual place. This place came highly recommended and so it was high time I try it. They are located off the El Camino side of the busy Burlingame Avenue. First and foremost, I recommend their meatball appetizer. There are 3 fairly large meatballs in an order. 3 may not sound like much, but they are big and just enough not to fill you and can eat a pizza! It's served with 2 pieces of toasted bread and honestly I wished there were a couple more pieces to soak up a the delicious goodness of the sauce. Our party ordered the funghi, salsiccia and the proscuitto di parma. I was particularly attracted to the proscuitto pizza because to was a white sauce based pizza--commonly found in NY. Not too many pizzerias offer white sauce so this was a big plus for me. The funghi was loaded with mushrooms, but I think it a little lacking in flavor--still good, but a little short on mushroom aroma. The salsiccia was a good meaty pizza. All of our pizzas tasted delicious, a thin, Neopolitan style pizza. The edge of the crust was doughy and crisp, although I thought the pie itself was a little soggy for my preference--it could be because this is not a wood-fired pizza. Nonetheless it was still a good pizza and definitely worth coming here. There was an abundance of meats, mushrooms & veg (arugula) on each of our pies. The meatballs were definitely the highlight and the most talked about of our meal. If you haven't tried Delfina, I would definitely give it a shot--you won't be disappointed.

Lina O.

Yelp
Definitely a good place for Italian inspired pizza. Service is wonderful. Burlingame location takes reservations. Their crust is a little too over baked for me, and the aperol spritz didn't taste traditional since it had grapefruit in it. However, I did just return from Italy so I guess my standards are higher than usual.

Haim G.

Yelp
Not sure what happened to this place it was very pricey but good. But now - it's just very pricey and Very bad. To the point of - food poisoning bad. Just had a pizza there - it was completely over baked, super oily and the taste was of. Got home and realized that we potentially got some sort of food poisoning from that place. In other words - I would avoid.

J K.

Yelp
Found myself in the neighborhood so tried this place out. The service was very good. The pizza, we ordered a white and red. Both were very good. Ambiance was fine. Why only 3 stars you ask. Yes this would be a 5 star review but my daughter ordered the Spaghetti dish. It was 25$ and it was just not worth that. It was just a small bowl of Spaghetti. There was no bread with it or anything else. It was good but not for that price. Pizza was worth it and cheaper than the Spaghetti. The Spaghetti should have been 15$ in my opinion. Also mandatory service charge. So I probably won't go back as I am sick of being nicked and dimed by these businesses. But to each their own. Just a thought, food prices have gone through the roof yet we are expected to tip a higher percentage. Don't the tips go up with the higher food prices already. Then throw in BS service charges. Come on already. This state won't be happy till nobody can afford to live here.

Danielle C.

Yelp
I went here for a team dinner and overall thought the place was good. I don't really eat a ton of pizza so I won't be coming here that regularly but if I am ever in the mood and/or I need to entertain a lot of friends or coworkers, this place is good for that! I made a reservation on Open Table and it was very seamless. The restaurant itself is not super large although there is some outdoor seating. It's a little cold right now though so not sure how that feels now. We got a table by the window. The lighting is a bit dim and I did have somewhat of a hard time reading the menu especially since at the bottom some of the ink on the menu was a bit faded. Someone at my table used their phone flashlight to read the menu which I thought was funny. The burrata cheese was yummy. It came with a small side salad of arugula and some toasted bread. You really need like two of these for a party of 6-8 or so. The pizzas were about a foot across and we ordered a few for the table. The slides were about medium size and thin. Many of the pizzas had a lot of crust though. The plates they gave us were a bit on the smaller side so it was a little difficult to pile on the uneaten crusts on the plates. I liked the pizzas. The white pizzas were great and I would get those again. They were very flavorful but not ridiculously oily. The carbonara even had eggs on the pizza. I also liked the prosciutto pie. Prosciutto was plentiful. The red pies were also not bad (I like white better though). The salsiccia had a ton of sausage on it and was very flavorful.

Yelp
Spaghetti Pomodoro on the menu is noted to be 21$ I paid 29$ today for takeout and this is what I got I was still hungry afterwards The young man at the window was super nice. He let me sit at a table outside to eat it which didn't take long because as you can see it's a teeny laughable portion. I didn't get any sides with it either for 29$. It wasn't bad but it wasn't worth 30$ I truly wish I hadn't spent that money today Nice place though. Seating inside and outside

rey d.

Yelp
Literally walked in people are still eating I can still see people making pizza to be turn away right at 801 Atleast make an exception.

Tami S.

Yelp
If I'm paying $25 for 1.5 cups of spaghetti, in a $100 order, I'd expect that the people working there would be expected to care AT LEAST A LITTLE about your experience. At times the staff is great, but today was NOT great... enough to make me realize that their $25 spaghetti is really not worth it, and that I should stick to Sapore, where the food is equally delicious, and the people there work hard to ensure you have a good experience, and you don't have to contend with Dashers who shove in front of you at the takeout window as if it's their birthright.

Wendy D.

Yelp
Excellent place to have lunch In Burlingame! Even better was the service that exceeded our expectations from our server Lani!!! She was so friendly, and kind. She was efficient with service and made the best recommendations! We thoroughly enjoyed our lunch! The pizza was so delicious and not too heavy! Everything was amazing! Thank you, PD and Lani for the experience and delicious food! We can't wait to return and dine again! The ambiance was great and we loved how the atmosphere lends itself to feeling relaxed but also immaculately clean and inviting! The entire staff was amazing and you can tell have excellent leadership in management as evident by seeing everyone working together so well!!

Anandita S.

Yelp
We came for a late lunch and with three kids we were super hungry. Ema was our server. She is one awesome human being. She ordered our food super fast as we told her we were hungry and she was very patient with our kids. It was an awesome experience because of the service. Food was perfect. Fresh and we left with stomach full and soul satisfied.

Katie P.

Yelp
Very expensive but cannot keep up with the competition. Their margheritta pizza was lackluster and nothing special. The meatballs were way too salty! It's not worth it, go elsewhere.

Sicilian (sausage pizza) crumbled sausage , no red sauce, no mushrooms or green peppers as it should. Disappointed

Yelp
This place is bomb and service is always great. I highly recommend the meatball dish if you're not in the mood for pizza (however their pizzas are great). They also have delicious blood orange drinks (both alcoholic and non alcoholic) that I randomly crave sometimes.

Yelp
Food was good , service was alright I think they can do better about reservations and the host or anyone who works there to sit people or at least say hello but overall this places has been always pretty good !!

Yelp
They are open for takeout during Covid-19! I ordered the Salsiccia pizza which has house made fennel sausage, onions, red sauce, sweet peppers, and I paid extra to add pepperoni. Usually I would rate Pizzeria Delphina 4 stars, and I've had numerous pizzas from here, but it's been a miss lately. My recent to go order was 3 stars because I felt that the pepperoni wasn't pepperoni but salami instead and it tasted stale and had a weird old brown color to it. I called them about it and the guy on the end of the phone said there's nothing he can do, I wanted him to replace the pizza but he said during Covid 19 they don't redo pizzas. The pizza tasted off, and it was not made with care.

Yelp
What a ripoff! $36 for 2 kids pasta with tomato sauce! Really?? It wasn't even that good! The bill was $86 for 3 kids as the only adult had nothing!

Yelp
Pizzeria Delfina makes a great destination to meet friends for dinner. Lively atmosphere, good soundtrack, reasonable prices, and tasty food. I particularly enjoyed the fried arancini balls: melt in your mouth delicious! The heirloom tomato salad was decent. I loved the flavors, but it's the tail end of tomato season and the tomatoes themselves weren't amazing. The pizzas were a good size and tasty, though not in the upper echelons of my pizza rankings. I liked the pizza margherita better than the funghi (mushroom), though the former had issues for me too. The fresh mozzarella cooled quickly and became rubbery. If you like fontina cheese you'll likely enjoy the funghi better than I did. Crust was not too flavorful but well cooked. Despite these nitpicks, it was an enjoyable meal and my leftover pizza reheated beautifully the next day. I'd be happy to return!
