Google
Great spot for authentic Italian eats. The staff are friendly and the attention to detail is impeccable. We tried the calamari and bufala pizza; both were spectacular. The style of their pizza is unique and a must try, especially if you’re a fan of the Neapolitan style. True to the style, the ingredients are sourced directly from Italy. I’d highly recommend giving them a try!

Delicious vegan pizza and pasta (there is a separate vegan menu)! The ingredients are very high quality and all are prepared beautifully. The service is also top notch. Highly recommended

Our family loved this place. We even got to learn more about what made the pizza special here. You can taste the quality. The kids were raving about how delicious their pizza was. And to think, we almost went to Domino's. Glad we found this place. The atmosphere is also wonderful.

Tonight we wanted to go out for a date night at a nice restaurant and we craved a delicious pizza. Our first time here and we were delighted by everything from the excellent service, the incredible pizza and drinks. From the moment we walked in the door until we left, our date night was perfect. Dillan, our waiter, was very pleasant, attentive and efficient. The ambiance was charming, very clean and relaxing. We ordered the Prosciutto pizza and it did not disappoint! It arrived hot, full of flavor and fresh ingredients with a slight crisp to the crust. The owner (I think he was the owner) came up to our table and told us a little about the place and checking in to see if we needed anything. We highly recommend you try them! You will feel special and have a great experience. We will definitely be returning for more…

Google
What a phenomenal experience :) as someone who lives a plant based lifestyle Enzina won me over with their entire vegan menu (they have a whole separate vegan menu on top of regular and vegetarian options!) This was so exciting for me and I couldn’t wait to try the vegan mezze maniche and it was absolutely FIREEE ❣️ so flavorful and delicious! The plant based sausage was full of flavor and was so enjoyable! I devoured the entire plate not one bit left 😁 They have 25 different vegan options from appetizers to salads to entrees and even a dessert option, so truly thank you for having this! They gave us bread and oil to start with and mmmm the bread was yummy! My mom got a special which was a manicotti with a cream sauce and she loved it, she also ate every single bit, clean plate club hehe :) Will definitely be coming back very soon, can’t wait to try the other vegan dishes!

I went here for my birthday, and it was such a wonderful experience! The staff were incredibly friendly and kind, making the celebration even more special. I accidentally ordered a pizza that came with meat (I’m vegetarian) and didn’t realize it until it was brought to the table. I usually double check this but this time I forgot. The server was so understanding and let me order a different pizza without any hassle. The food was absolutely amazing—everything was fresh, flavorful, and delicious. I’ll definitely be coming back!

Google
I love that they have an entire vegan menu and an entire gluten free menu, in addition to their traditional menu! There is a whole parking lot to the side, and indoor and outdoor seating with wine pairings to boot. I’m haven’t eaten in yet, but visiting the Italian bakery, I can’t wait to come back and try! Very upscale feel. Come for pizza and get dessert next door (the bakery currently closed at 5, but they talk of being open later in the summer, so fingers crossed).

Google
Best Pizza in Waltham. I've gotten take out from here many times, and always loved it, but recently decided to try dining in. They're usually pretty busy so I was worried it would feel crowded or loud and chaotic, but it really didn't, it made a very pleasant spot to sit down and enjoy a meal. The pizzas are excellent, they range between 'Delicious' and 'Some of the absolute best, anywhere.' Service was helpful, friendly, and fast, which is always the case for takeout, too. Parking is adjacent, but the lot is really tight, so be careful - it's easy to get trapped in a corner and have to do some maneuvering.

Yelp
First, their pizzas and panzerotti are really really good: great dough, generous toppings and fresh ingredients. I was born and raised in Italy, so I have had authentic pizza my whole life and I do recommend them. But also, they are kind. I just had a snafu with the delivery (which they use a third party for, so NOT their personnel) which was absolutely my fault (typed the street # wrong) and they just re-made my order, free of charge. They didn't have to, and they still did, with a PACKED place and a line of people waiting for their order, they just added mine to the queue. I cannot say enough nice things about them.

Yelp
Although the taste off food here is mind blowing amazing, ( vegan menu) I had a mishap with customer service. Think about this scenario? I order from a delivery service, delivery' shows up late and wrong. Driver also places food on ground, outside of building door like trash. So wrong that it's a pepperoni pizza with pork can't even taste it. I called the restaurant back no Manager there, I'm SOL. Through my persuasion I got the owners phone number and told him what happened and this is what he suggested; Since he lives in the same town that my order was delivered to. He opted to come by and pick up the order so he could take it back to the restaurant. For me to call back the restaurant and to re-order my food through the same service since they're crediting me back for the original order and he will make sure it's done correctly. In theory this should sound like an unbelievable error and Customer Service moment , but it wasn't. He just wanted his product back and could care less about me and in fact offered to pick up some thing for me from someplace else like McDonald's, made me want to scream from the highest mountain top ITS NOT VEGAN!!! He didn't care that I'd have to wait another hour hour and a half to get my food, he didn't care about me and my feelings he cared about his loss and the error. Commenting he opted to help me get something to eat from McDonald's, what would he like me to order from there barbecue sauce? Even the french fries are marinated and beef fat. I swear sometimes you say the word vegan and the oxygen in peoples brain is just sucked out their ears. I will never order food from here again Customer Service deplorable!

Dan D.

Yelp
We went with the vegeterania. Gorgeously browned, chewy crust; fresh and colorful veggies; friendly inside pickup greeter; and ready before the website said it would be. I wish the pizza sauce had more umami - it was more of an acidity-driven tomato sauce. Easy in and out, with lit street parking nearby at 8p on a Saturday night.

Luke F.

Yelp
I'm sorry to report that Enzina has gone way downhill with the current manager. We ordered the scampi pizza and it came without olives. I asked for a new pizza and the manager said that the kitchen had closed and he couldn't make a new pizza. He said he could either take the pizza away (!) and not charge us for it, or have us eat it and charge us for it. He literally started walking away with the pizza. First of all, it's 8:25 and the restaurant closes at 9:00. Second, people came in after this exchange and placed a to-go order. I can't believe how horrible and aggressive this manager was. I will never be returning to this establishment as long as he is employed. I have truly never experienced anything like this in my many years of dining out. I've been coming to Enzina literally since they opened and can't believe my family and I are receiving this level of service.

Kathy L.

Yelp
Yuck! I paid $30 for an inedible pile of goo! Asked for no onions, got lots of those. Didn't order peppers, got those anyway. The pizza crust is doughy, partially uncooked. Back to Stone L'oving for me!

bonita n.

Yelp
Hubby loved his vegan pizza and the vegan menu. As a nonvegan, I didn't like the pizza. My sausage rabe focaccia was fine. The fries that came with it were above average. The interior of the restaurant is attractive

Yu Ya H.

Yelp
Have gotten a pizza takeout from here and it didn't disappoint so we decided to dine in this time. Dining in makes the experience many times better! The staff were very friendly and communicative; great vibes overall. The pizza tastes even better - crispy and warm and mozzarella freshly melted. It was just perfect and the tomato sauce was subtle to complement the toppings. The tiramisu beat my expectations - made me wanting seconds. Will definitely come back to try out other pizzas. They also have different pasta on the menu along with more desserts. -8.5/10

Yelp
Great food, great drinks, decent service. My son and I were staying in the area for a week and wanted to try out this spot, not knowing they prefer reservations. We walked in at the same time as a couple. They were greeted first and admitted to not having a reservation. When they greeted us, I was expecting the same treatment. But the host hesitated because we didn't have a reservation and stated it would be about a 20 minute wait. After I explained my frustration, they seated us within a few minutes.

Barbara B.

Yelp
The best pizza in Waltham hands down! Perfectly baked crust with locally sourced sausage, roasted peppers and caramelized onions. Pizza heaven. The owner stopped by and his pride was evident and well deserved. We will stop by bakery now and check it out

Yelp
Had a great late night family (after hockey)dinner. Food was excellent. Had the Cesar salad (huge split amongst 4). Great chicken parm, chicken Milanese and pizza. Awesome staff very attentive. Looking forward to next visit

Yelp
We went for lunch on a Saturday in February at 12. We were first to sit down but others came in soon after us and there was a busy take out service. We chose to have two starters and both were very good. Our favorite was the Melanzane which was l a grilled eggplant slice wrapped around ricotta cheese with a tomato sauce, basil leaves and parmesan cheese. The second starter was Panzerotti which was two mini calzones which had mozzarella and basil filled in fried dough pizzas. They were like little pies. Despite being starters they were more than enough for the two of us retirees so we took leftovers home. In the bag the owner put some french bread rolls into the bag! Service was excellent and the food came quickly and was piping hot. When we said we were planning to share we were offered extra plates. When we told the owner we had first heard about the Enzina bakery next door he gave us a 10% coupon which we used immediately. The ambiance is pleasant with an exposed brick wall and a rolled metal ceiling. We sat at the back near a heater but others chose to sit at the front to observe passer bys. The bill was reasonable and considering the quality of the food and the service we were very satisfied. We will be back probably both for take out and dine in! Many thanks for a great lunch experience.

Yelp
Stopped in with my 21yo son around 1:15 today. Several large parties enjoying family time together, and we got a preview of the food items while we waited the short time for our table. He had a pepperoni pizza and I had the salciccia and a baby kale salad. The salad was delicious, zesty and well dressed and plenty for 2 people to share as an appetizer. His pizza was just what he wanted, with savory toppings and a delicious crust, fresh tomato sauce and other ingredients. My salciccia was also very tasty and I ate almost the whole thing - but next time I would have them leave off the roasted bell peppers - tasty but made the pizza a little wet for me so I had to knife and fork it. Five star service and the team worked well together and seems to really like their customers. Recommend!

Patricia D.

Yelp
This place is a disaster, the manager is rude and does not care about customers, the minute you walk in there, he is reminding you that they close at 9pm and it does not matter if it is 7:30pm. I always say hi to him manager and again he does not care, he just wants your $ in the worst possible way. Please get a manager that cares about the restaurant and has some manners !!! The pizza is very good but the place is not worth to visit with the current management and the rest of the employees who are always in a rush and are rude

Emily B.

Yelp
Delightful little place with great pizza. Definitely we will go back again. Service was laid back with a friendly and comfortable atmosphere.

Chris B.

Yelp
Great food. Not all food tastes as good once you get it home, but this order certainly did. I would recommend you give them a try if you haven't already. If you know them, I'm guessing you agree with my review and rating.

Jeff K.

Yelp
Stumbled on this and Went here with family and was pleasantly surprised. Got Apps: Pizza Fritti Cheese bread Mea: Chicken parmigiana Pistachio gelato All were great. Would love to try the rest of the menu, a new favorite near the house.

Riley H.

Yelp
Delicious food and attentive staff great spot to dine in. Smaller eating area so be sure to make a reservation!

Gloria Y.

Yelp
The service and food flavor is good, but their pasta and pizza is way too salty. If they lower their salt content, especially in their pasta sauce, it would be tasty.

Jace F.

Yelp
I'm not sure where to start, but I'll do my best. We just left Enzina and I can't stop talking about our experience. As seasoned "foodies" who dine out 6 nights/week, we have now been meat-free for over 5 years and were initially drawn in by the vegan options. You can usually find stereotypical options anywhere, but chicken and sausage alternatives are a bit harder to come by. We were excited to see where this led... Walking in, the space is small and cozy with a rustic brick backsplash setting the scene of an authentic Italian experience. Admittedly, it may be tough to get a bigger party accommodated, but I'm sure they have a way. Having a completely separate vegan menu is an amazingly thoughtful touch. We ordered marinara pizza, "chicken" parm, spaghetti, and "sausage" rigatoni. I need to be clear and mention that ALL our dishes were amazing. The pasta was cooked to al dente perfection and the meat-alternatives would fool the most seasoned carnivore. It was almost impossible to pick favorites (like your kids), but if I had to (and it varied per guest), I would say the pizza was absolutely incredible. The crust was perfectly crisp, charred, and chewy with a smooth well-balanced sauce, quality olive oil, and fresh basil. Add some crushed red pepper and it's one of the best pizzas in recent memory; truly destination-worthy. The "chicken" parm was a close second with (2) crispy fried plant-based cutlets oozing with cheese (we opted for standard mozzarella) which played well with the al dente rigatoni. If you weren't feeling red sauce, the spaghetti is non-traditional and dressed with garlic confit and calabrian chili flakes for an unctuous punch. San Bennedeto sparkling and a solid old world wine list kept us sipping throughout the meal. We also opted for affogatos (espresso poured over vanilla bean gelato) which was a great crescendo to the meal. Last, but certainly not least, was our stellar service. Our waitress was pleasant, courteous, and accurate. Additionally, John (not sure if he was a manager or owner or what not) was incredibly charming, insightful, and wonderful with kids. The cherry on top to a near-perfect experience. Enzina's will be a heavy player in our rotation moving forward (even though we're 30 min away) and I'm excited to delve further into the menu!

Joe A.

Yelp
Amazing service! We loved their Bruschetta! The Sassacia pizza was great and had that awesome wood fired flavor!

Rich G.

Yelp
An "OK" pizza. A bit of a chewy, "cardboard" crust. Got it "to go", probably better if you dine in. Visiting for the weekend, it wasn't bad, would try somewhere different next time.

Ethan B.

Yelp
The food is amazing. It's easily the best pizza in the area, so we often order when hosting people or for parties etc. After a major fail by a delivery app looked like it was going to ruin my daughter's 2nd birthday, Enzina saved the day -- the owner personally drove the order to our house and carried it inside. Can't recommend this place enough!!

Adam L.

Yelp
OK as a sit down restaurant for a decent quality pizza, but certainly they're not cheap, and they don't offer by the slice or any quick lunch options that are reasonable. This is more of a nice restaurant than pizzeria.. disappointed I guess . However if this is what you're looking for I guess it could fit the bill

Andres D.

Yelp
I was underwhelmed. Pizzas took a long time to come out. When they did they were meh, my biggest issue being the thick but hard crust. The move is also probably not personal pizzas, which are remarkably expensive for what they are.

M C.

Yelp
Everything was great! From service to ambiance to food. Definitely recommend the pizza, truffle fries, Alfredo, and Caesar salad. The food tasted really fresh and of good quality.

Brian F.

Yelp
We ordered the shrimp scampi pizza-- but it was delivered without the olives, a critical flavor. The manager refused to remake the pizza as described on the menu and said the kitchen had closed. It was 8:20 and the kitchen closes at 9:00. The manager told us we could either eat it as made or he'd take it back and take it off the bill. So no dinner. As we were eating it, another party came in and magically the kitchen was open for them. So infuriating. My son and I were among the first customers when Enzina opened during the pandemic. And we were close with Giulio, the original chef. We helped spread the word and have dined at Enzina scores of times. Never again. Ciro's loss. As long-time supporter of the Maione family restaurants in Waltham, this makes me incredibly sad.

Aldis R.

Yelp
This place is the best. Pizza is delicious. Great fresh salads. There was an issue with my door dash order (the driver picked up my food and then never delivered it!). The manager of the restaurant went above and beyond to make it right for me, personally delivering the food himself. The best.

dan w.

Yelp
Almost 5 stars. The service is very friendly. The food is well above average for this area. But the value is a bit off. I know they use good ingredients and that with post-pandemic inflation and higher expenses, almost everything costs more. But $24 for a pizza (except the plain which is $19) and $3.50 for a tiny bottle of soda is pushing it. Maybe lunch is a better deal. (Or maybe they should offer a small pizza for dinner.) This very casual, neighborhood place should not be a special occasion venue. That said, I like it there and will be back, but maybe not so often as they would like.

Arun S.

Yelp
Pizzeria Enzina https://g.co/kgs/TrbCh3g. They not only did not provide decent service, they insulted me when I posted the review. I was told my order will be ready in 20 mins. It took more like 50 mins, and there was nothing done to speed things along even though I had asked after 15 mins or so of waiting. This also resulted in the calamari I ordered to get cold by the time I received the order.Needless to say, I won't be ordering again. I called in the order, and the person told me 20 mins. So your explanation doesn't work. I think it would be better if you had promised 40 mins. And now you are claiming you gave me a gift card and a free dessert? I never got any of that. You must be talking about someone else. So now you are insulting me on top of garbage service?? Service: 1/5 Pizzeria Enzina (Owner) 7 minutes ago Online ordering has a lead time when we add a delay. Sorry your order came in this window. There is no way to get your order out in 20 min at 7pm on a Friday. Sorry again that you got stopped out but respectfully, we would both be better with you going elsewhere . EDIT!!! I just found out you were not only taken care of , but given free dessert and a gift card. Do not come back people like you are garbage.

Fitile K.

Yelp
Amazing Margarita pizza. The vegan pizza was very good as well! Great service for the kids. I would strongly recommend

Katie D.

Yelp
This location is convenient for me to stop at on my way home or meet up with someone after work, but it exceeded my expectations in terms of the food, atmosphere, and overall experience. One of the most important assessments of an Italian restaurant is the red sauce. Well, I've tried Pizzeria Enzina's eggplant rolls and also the lasagna, both of which involve truly amazing tomato sauce. My dad said that the kale salad (with granny smith apples, cranberries, taleggio, and apple cider dressing) was the best kale he had ever had. Others at my table also ordered the chicken milanese and tagliatelle bolognese, which were both also very good. Most significantly, the gnocchi that I ordered was absolute perfection. Its sauce cannot be adequately described as an amazing four-cheese bechamel unlike anything I've ever had before! There was plenty of friendly and helpful service, and we also talked to the manager, which was very nice. Almost all of the ingredients they use come straight from Italy and most importantly the pasta is homemade (with flour from Italy)! We look forward to returning soon, and also perhaps stopping by the bakery someday before 5pm! (visited 1/25/23, 5/2/23, & 10/27/23)

Rich L.

Yelp
Life is short. F.... It up Family, Flavor, Friends. We stopped in for dinner due to the Popular ratings online. We still have the charcuterie board. They have three slices of cheese some thinly sliced meats and some olives it was decent. For the pizza we got the Romana and the shrimp scampi. They make their homemade dough and each of the pizzas come with different types of cheeses. These two just happen to have a peckerino mozzarella which sort of resembled goat cheese which was a very distinct very savory pizza. Definitely going back to try the other items.

Rose A.

Yelp
Delicious food and wonderful restaurant but in need of more wait staff. Great vegan options.

Carolyn J.

Yelp
This was honestly the best pizza we've been able to find in the Waltham area, and we've been hunting for a while. The crust was awesome, fresh ingredients, and a good size for the price tag ($24 per pie) The drinks are a bit expensive ($12 for a small glass of wine and $8 for a can of beer) so we ended up leaving after one round to finish our pizzas at home.

Ralph C.

Yelp
What a great feeling it is to not only find a wonderful restaurant but to leave a wonderful review. First time at Enzina and was thoroughly pleased It's a cute restaurant with a strong Italian vibe. Brick walls, dark table and minimalist decor. Quick hello from the server and menu drop off. Not a particularly large menu. A nice sampling of apps, pizza and pasta. There is also a nice selection of wine and all soft drinks are Italian. No coke or Pepsi. ( how refreshing). Since it was first visit, we went for Caesar salad (to split) and cheese pizza. They immediately brought bread from their bakery next door. Warm, crusty and chewy paired with a deep amber olive oil. So good. The Caesar was a large portion of crispy lettuce, thin pieces of cheese and a subtle dressing. Added a squirt of lemon and it was perfect. This was followed by a best evah pizza. Thin crisp bottom with a charred, full and yet chewy crust. Almost like 2 separate pizzas. Devoured the bottom and dipped crust in evoo. Perfection. Will return soon. Need to try the cod, gnocchi and different sauces. What a great place.

Joe C.

Yelp
Tried this restaurant for the first time last night. What a great experience! First, since my daughters are vegetarian and vegan (but my wife and I are not), it's always a challenge to find a place that all of us can enjoy. Pizzeria Enzina not only offers multiple options, it actually has multiple menus. There is a complete menu for vegans, another one that's gluten-free, and a third menu that is traditional. The appetizers were delicious. We had a tomato salad and something called Panzerotti (kind of like a pizza within a fried dough) - both were delicious. They also have something which they call their "ghost menu" which features meals that they are testing out before putting them on the permanent menu, as well as seasonal specials. I had the lasagna which was absolutely delicious, and I couldn't even finish it so I have left over for lunch today! The rest of the group had various pasta dishes. Everyone loved their meal. Finally, they have a very good wine and drink selection and well rounded dessert menu (Although we did not have dessert because we were so full). The restaurant is on the smaller side, but it has a very nice ambiance. The restaurant manager is extremely friendly and attentive (in my opinion, restaurant manager should study this wanted to see how to treat customers) as is the wait staff. We will definitely be coming back here again.

Greg S.

Yelp
Svetlana & I came for Sunday brunch with our grandson. The food as always was outstanding! I had the Po Boy fish sandwich. Very flavorful. Svetlana had the crepes. The kids menu chicken was plentiful. Excellent service to boot! So glad we have this quality restaurant in our hometown.

Crista H.

Yelp
Being Vegan, I was so happy to find this place! AND, my husband who is absolutely not vegan, he loved it too! We will definitely be back! Options for everyone!

David H.

Yelp
Nice ambiance, fast service, and most importantly delicious pizza! Parking in back which is helpful for Main St.

Nancy R.

Yelp
More like 3 5. Service was good. All the food was good except the Funghi pizza was really terrible

Jim J.

Yelp
Nice place. We drove 30 min to try the vegan menu. I am not a vegan and typically don't like the meat substitute stuff but the vegan chicken parm was great. My wife and daughter liked the vegan pizza also . I got regular pizza which was very nice. Staff were friendly too. We will be back for sure.

Lisa H.

Yelp
Pizzeria Enzina deserves more than 5 stars! Authentic Italian food in a modern memory inspiring setting. I felt like I had stepped back into a neighborhood Cafe in Italy. The staff was very attentive and professional. This family owned restaurant is a true gem. With a couple of friends for a late lunch, we ordered several items and shared them since everything looked so good that we couldn't choose. We were not disappointed! From the seafood, bruschetta, perfect pizza and lasagna. Every single choice was perfection. No room for dessert but we did it anyway and we're so glad we did! REAL espresso too! That shouldn't be such a big deal but it is not easy to find a really good espresso. They nailed it. Going back to try the weekend Brunch soon!

Anna D.

Yelp
Amazing food, service and drinks. John the manager is spectacular. He made our first visit here feel like we had been going there for years. Definitely will be back thanks to John!

Maya G.

Yelp
The best pizza here was delicious! Best crust and pasta. John, the manager and the staff went above and beyond to fit us in on a busy night. We will be back!!

Denise K.

Yelp
I really liked this food but there were some issues. We ordered the scampi pizza and it was absolutely delicious. Great flavor, good crust. I would definitely order again. We also ordered the calamari, which was tasty but the portion was really, really small. Not a great value for the price. We also ordered the Mezze Maniche and the Bolognese. The Mezze Maniche was delicious - pasta cooked perfectly and great sauce. The Bolognese was not great. Although the flavor was good, the pasta was so overcooked that it was a big ball of mush. It was almost inedible. We did get take out so this could be a factor and I will give them a 2nd chance but definitely disappointed with the Bolognese.

TinaGinaBabina L.

Yelp
Was hoping to find a nice neighborhood Italian restaurant in Waltham. The ambiance is decent but the food was very disappointing. The $16 fried calamari as pictured was extremely small, less than 10 pieces but in the end I am glad there wasn't much as we couldn't finish it as it was bland and not fresh. The $23 sausage pizza is mostly cheese and crust too thick and soggy. Needless to say we had a lot of leftover but did not take home. My $25 Tagliatelle funghi pasta was extremely bland. The only thing that was ok is the truffle fries. Unfortunately this was our first and last visit here which was too bad as I really wanted to like it.

Rob R.

Yelp
Not happy. Pizza came out uncut. Very sloppy. Especially when I'm paying over $20 a pizza. Cheese fell right off. SUPER GREASY

Richard G.

Yelp
We stubbled upon this little neighborhood find. We thought it was a regular pizza joint but it is really an upscale artisanal pizza place. It's a smaller location but there seems to be sufficient seating unless it gets super busy. They have a full range menu of appetizers, Italian plates, sandwiches and desserts. We opted for the artisanal pizza. The pizzas are smaller individual flat bread style. A little pricy but delicious and worth treating yourself for a different style of pizza. They were doing a very robust take out business while we ate so they have good food turnover.

Fabrizio N.

Yelp
I have never seen gotten a pizza more greasy, time to break out the damn paper towel for this soup-like pizza. won't be returning, jeez.
