This place is busy and when I say busy, I'm talking about a good 45min wait type of busy. But you know what, it's totally worth the wait. You order at the counter and they will bring your food/drinks to you. I love the open kitchen concept, and it's always a joy to watch fresh pizza being made. Would definitely come back Chopped salad- easily can serve 3 people. If I didn't want pizza, I would definitely just come here for the salad and wine itself. Mushroom pizza- nice thin crust and delicious flavor profile. Cacio e Pepe- a ricotta top pizza that tastes really amazing.

Google
I love pizza. With that being said, Pizzeria Florian is THE BEST pizza I have ever had in my life. The crust. The toppings. The sauce. Perfect. We had the coppacabana and it was AMAZING. We started with the elote dip that came with homemade focaccia which was also perfect. I cannot say enough about this place and the national awards do not lie. Get there and get there fast.

Some of the best pizza I’ve had in a long time!! So delicious and flavorful. This was the Calabrian crunch. And they even delivered it right to my work (I work right next door) but it was very sweet of them.

This place is a must visit, Main Street is beautiful. Cheryl is awesome, the pizza is amazing. The Calabrian Crunch had us already planning a stop here on our next trip to Buffalo in the Fall. Go Bills! 🦬

Google
I ordered the heirloom tomato pizza, and it was phenomenal! The tomatoes were fresh and sliced thinly. There was just enough basil, and the crust was cooked to perfection!

We ate the vegetarian option of Calabrian crunch pizza and it was incredibly delicious!! It is made with a unique recipe and must be tried. The place was very peaceful and the employees were very friendly

Google
I had the pleasure of trying out some truly outstanding vegan pizza, and I have to say—it exceeded all my expectations! The crust was perfectly crispy on the outside while staying soft and chewy on the inside, with just the right amount of char. It provided an excellent base for the fresh, high-quality toppings that really stole the show. I’d highly recommend it to vegans, vegetarians, and anyone else looking for a delicious pizza experience. Trust me, you won’t miss the meat or dairy one bit! The place is great and the employees were happy and polite

Google
Best artisan pizza I’ve ever had! The Calabrian crunch is an absolute must, the balance between the pepperoni, the fresh burrata (I think that’s the cheese), the chili and hot honey were literally unreal. You need to go here!!!

Yelp
Stopped by Pizza Florian in East Aurora, and wow, it did not disappoint. We ordered the Calabrian Crunch pizza, and it was easily one of the best pies I've had in WNY. The crust had that perfect wood-fired char while still being soft and chewy in the middle. The layers of flavor were incredible--the crispy pepperoni, melty cheese, and just the right kick from the Calabrian crunch gave every bite a punch of spice and smokiness without being overwhelming. We also tried the cannolis for dessert, and they were the perfect finish. The shells were crisp, the filling was smooth and creamy, and they had just the right level of sweetness. You can tell everything here is made with care and attention to detail. Between the cozy East Aurora atmosphere and the quality of the food, Pizza Florian is a spot I'll absolutely be coming back to. If you're a pizza lover (or just love good food in general), this place is a must-try.

Yelp
100/10. I absolutely love this place. Great customer service and GREAT food! The quality, flavor, and care in every detail makes it worth every penny. Whenever friends or family are in town, this is the first place I recommend and it never disappoints. The chill, welcoming ambiance makes it just as perfect for a casual night.

Yelp
This pizzeria has been ranked in the top 50 pizzas two years in a row - and it's clear to see why. The bright, eclectic space felt like a new age Italian pizzeria. We were seated at a two top, and listened to the great music selection under the cozy table top lights. The kitchen is open, and the staff moves around in a well rehearsed dance. The ambiance led us up to the best pizza we have ever eaten. We were immediately blown away. It's not often you get a thin crust pizza that can hold its own once sauce and toppings are applied. The thin, crispy crusts stands to attention when pulled away from the safety of the rest of the pizza. The post shift pizza was a classic - red sauce, gooey mozzarella, onions, and spicy cherry peppers. This pizza comes with a side of home made blue cheese dressing, which was perfect to ease the spice of the peppers and to dip the perfectly cooked crust. We also got the mushroom pizza which had a plethora of umami mushrooms, sweet carmelized onion, mozzarella cheese, and finished with a delicious drizzle of truffle oil. To my surprise, this white pizza didn't have a base sauce! It was packed with umami goodness, and I could have eaten the whole thing. Along with the delicious pizzas, Pizzeria Florian also has some great starters and desserts. We started with the olives, these were buttery, citrusy, and had a depth of flavor that was impressive for a vessel as small as an olive! We also sampled some cannoli - and all I can say is order one of each flavor. It's worth it. All in all, I can't wait to come back. This was such a treat. I had heard great things, but getting to try everything myself was even better than I could have imagined.

Yelp
What an amazing and delicious experience of pizza! So happy we came out for lunch and glad it wasn't too busy to get a seat. Such unique and amazing flavors. Like I've never had before. They put a lot of effort making this food special. Great ambience and clean bathrooms as well. Overall great visit and would recommend highly.

Yelp
Pizzeria Florian, Artisan Pizza on Main St in East Aurora. Limited hours, finally found time to check it out. Chopped salad was unique and very fresh and flavorful. Unique topping combinations on the menu. Went with a the Post Shift red sauce and the Mushroom white pizza. Both were very good. Honestly it was good but pretty pricey. Hipster pricing I anticipated. Place was packed but food came out quick. Comfortable dining room with open Kitchen. Employees were all super friendly. Limited non alcoholic beverage selection Coke or Sprite glass bottles. Won't be our regular pizza place but would go back.
google avatar

Yelp
Staff was friendly and the environment is very cozy and beautifully decorated. Perfect for date night or dinner with friends. This is the best wood fired pizza that I've ever had. It was perfectly cooked and packed with layers of flavor. We ordered the kale Caesar and the Cacio e Pepe pizza and added mushrooms. Absolutely delicious! I am already planning my return back!

Yelp
*Best pizza in Buffalo--hands down!* Service is exceptional, ingredients are fresh, and the pizza is absolutely delicious. Jay and his team hit a home run at Pizzeria Florian. Go with the Calabrian Crunch pie and thank me later!
google avatar

Yelp
Pizza Florian has the best pizza around! There I said it. Not your typical Buffalo style pizza, Pizza Florian offers pizza that has a thinner crust in nature and offers outside the box unique flavor combinations. I have been there several times and they do not disappoint. If you dine in the ambiance is casual and cozy. And if you need to do takeout the online ordering system is very easy to navigate and very efficient. Newer to EA this place is a must try!

Yelp
Great place for coal fired pizza! Innovative toppings and nice atmosphere. Had a late lunch with my daughter after shopping It won't disappoint

Yelp
We finally made it out to Pizzeria Florien, and I'm so glad. The pizza is fantastic, and the service was exceptional. Everyone was so friendly. We ordered the Cacio e Pepe pizza and the Classic Cheese pizza (with added pepperoni). They were cooked perfectly and so light and airy. We started with a chopped salad that was tasty, too. I can't wait to come back. I hope they open in the Northtowns.

Yelp
Top 3 pizza places in buffalo. Food was absolutely amazing, ingredients fresh. Food came out fast and workers were nice. The restaurant is beautiful and it's nice to be able to watch the pizza makers make absolute magic food.

Yelp
Had an amazing dinner here with my friend on Thursday. Trying this place for the first time and we were not disappointed! We split the chopped salad and the Calabrian crunch pizza. Both were excellent. We were served the salad first and loved that they left the pieces of salami and cheese in larger pieces and the rest was chopped up. The pizza was cooked to perfection and was just the right amount of kick. Will add this to our regular EA rotation.

Yelp
First time visit and I was very impressed. Absolutely everything you would expect in a thin crust pizza. Dough was soft and chewy little char on the bottom like it came out of a wood fired oven, just amazing. You can order at the register and then sit down at a table very casual very family oriented. After my meal was finished one of the cooks asked how was pizza. Would highly recommend and I will absolutely return.

Yelp
We had been hearing good things about this place for a while, and we were not disappointed. If you are a wood-fired pizza fan, you are in for a treat at Pizzeria Florian. It's a counter service place, so go in and ask for a table and menus, then go up and order and pay. They'll bring your items to you when they are ready. I was surprised at the size of the bowl of olives. I mean, for $7 you expect maybe 20 olives. This was a HUGE bowl, with fennel pollen, chili, and some other stuff. Lovely taste, spicy at times, but a delightful appetizer. Then the pizza. We had the Cacio e Pepe, which is apparently the #1 "white" pizza. It is peppery, as the name implies, and the crust.... I daydream about the crust. It was absolutely perfect. I will definitely go back to try some other pizzas. The decor seems a bit bland for a pizza place. Very demure, unassuming, nondescript in every way, but it doesn't take away from the AMAZING pizza. You have to go!

Yelp
Holy crap was this place good. I am a snob about pizza. So, almost no pizza places (yes, even in Buffalo) impress me. But this place's pizza blew my mind. I tried like 4 different kinds (at a private birthday party) and I was impressed with rich unique flavors in ever bite. One pizza had fennel in it, and it was incredible. I also had their cabbage (which every single person at the part devoured because it was THAT good) kale salad, and a vegan ceaser salad. Literally every single thing was incredible. How they managed to make kale delicious is beyond me. I ended up taking some home. I HIGHLY recommend this place and was thoroughly impressed. The staff was also kind and knowledgeable. The decor was boring but that was the last thing on my mind. I will def go here again!

Yelp
The Calabrian Crunch pizza is SO GOOD. After the first bite, I said "HOLY $h*#%, this is amazing!" It is the perfect combination of sweet and spicy. We also ordered one of each cannoli, the Chocolate Honey Lavender and Classic. The staff were also super funny and nice when we went in to pick up our order. I wrote a note on my order requesting one of each cannoli (since there wasn't the option on the site to pick one of each) and they were nice enough to accommodate my request! We opted for take out; however, the place is super cute and cozy inside. Perfect spot for a date night! There is an abundance of parking in the huge lot behind the restaurant. I appreciate that they provide specific instructions on how to get there from the back parking lot, it could have been confusing for someone not super familiar with East Aurora. You enter from the back lot through the shared indoor stairway with Prima Oliva. There is a sign with an arrow, so you can't miss it! Overall, amazing! Can't wait to come back again with friends so we have an excuse to try one of everything on the menu!
google avatar

Yelp
This pizza was so flavorful!! Everything was so fresh. A nice change up from traditional Buffalo pizzas. It's a smaller place and can get crowded but they do offer takeout!
google avatar

Heather A.

Yelp
Delicious pizza, beyond compare! We are pleasantly surprised every single time! We've had the mushroom pizza and the Cacio e Pepe which is topped with ricotta and immaculate. Don't sleep on the chopped salad - it's huge and also fantastic! (Make sure you order once you get to the restaurant, our first time we waited and realized it's an order at the cashier place) would love to see them add some sort of seltzer to the menu!
google avatar

Yelp
What is this Wizardry?!? One bite has a mouthfeel like it's a crispy sweet cereal while it reconciles that same bite that has your tastebuds dancing a spicy number; and then you take another bite and it immediately transports you directly to an outdoor kitchen table in the Amalfi Coast of Italy tasting a piece of crusty bread seasoned with cured meat and fresh vegetables from the garden five feet from where you sit. This pizza walks a fine line between black magic and miraculous but I cannot recommend it enough. Get to Pizzeria Florio!

Jeremy K.

Yelp
This isn't La Nova or Just Pizza. Pizza is going to be pricier, but it's worth every penny, and then some. And the reason it's pricey is the high-end ingredients and best in class technique / artistry. The dough / crust is some of the best I've ever had. The pies aren't greasy but are still full of flavor. And because of that, you can eat a ton of it and not feel bogged down or bloated. It's tough to not eat the entire pie. The vibe when you dine-in is electric and hip, as you get a buzz from the staff in the open kitchen and front of house staff that is firing on all cylinders, while getting slammed by the always present crowd. In my experience, they are always busy. It's a great gem to have in my town and I always look for a night where we're too lazy to cook so we can grab a pie and a Kale Caeser, to go. The Calabrian Crunch pie has been an issue because since we found it, we basically stopped trying any of the other options. It's soooooo good and checks off a ton of boxes. Pictured are a Margherita and Cacia E Pepe.

Jerry K.

Yelp
Ordered a margherita pizza with pepperoni and mushroom. The thin crust was very limp and soggy. The sauce had a sour taste to it. I paid $34.80 for a 14 inch pizza. It was not worth the money. If you like Buffalo style pizza, there is much better pizza in East Aurora for a better price.
google avatar

Jessica R.

Yelp
Finally got to try a pizza from here and can say I will definitely be back. I tried to come here with friends for dinner but it was an hour wait so we just ordered a couple of pizzas and went somewhere else for drinks and apps and then came back to pick up our pizza. The flavors were fantastic and it was a nice, thin crust.
google avatar

Yelp
100% the best pizza I ever ate! Tips: You can place your take-out order 2 days ahead of time. Be aware that online orders can "close," likely to prevent not being able to accommodate customers. The crust is perfectly charred with a distinct smokiness from being cooked in an electric deck oven. As for the toppings, they are nothing but the best, truly high-quality. Loved the sweet, yet spicy flavor of the Calabrian Crunch. The soft cheese was served in large condiment cups on the side so that it wouldn't compromise the texture while being in a cardboard box. Honestly I could have eaten this burrata/ricotta? cheese with a spoon. Also fell in love with the mushroom pizza. It was bursting with flavor. Prices are steep, but his is a perfect example of "you get what you pay for" and they definitely delivered on quality. Don't skip dessert. The cannolis are the perfect way to end the meal. You can order two for $7 (but has to be the same flavor when ordering on the app). The regular cannoli had lots of chocolate flecks and a strong citrus punch. The chocolate was my favorite - creamy, smooth filling. Do yourself a favor and check out this pizza joint asap!

Yelp
This was our first time trying this establishment. We were very pleased with how incredibly delicious the food was. We are always on the lookout for new restaurants to try out. Well Pizzeria Florian didn't disappoint. We tried several of the pizzas to find out perfect one. We had the classic cheese, mushroom, cacio e pepe, the Amanda, citrus and herb, margherita and the sausage and fennel. Every pizza had its own flavor profile and every pizza was made to perfection. We were thoroughly impressed. My favorite was the mushroom. It had me saying "wow that was delicious" till the next day and beyond. Congratulations on a great formula for success. Until next time.
google avatar

Yelp
We arrived to Pizzeria Florian at 3:59pm and were the first group seated with a line behind us. The entire staff was pleasant and the food was delicious! We started with the chopped salad which appears to be their version of an antipasto salad, followed by 2 pizzas. We had a hard time choosing which to order, as they all sound delectable. We went with the Calabrian Crunch which was a combination of sweet and spicy and the Mushroom which was a beautiful combination of garlicky, cheesy greatness. Highly recommend!

Yelp
Y'all I cannot even begin to express how incredible of a place Pizzeria Florian is. They have found the balance of a beautiful elevated space with a casual atmosphere that is approachable, warm and inviting. Everything design wise has incredible attention to detail with my favorite being the diner type feel by the front windows. Service wise everyone was incredibly nice. Walking in you're seated and once you decide what you want you head back up to the counter to order. The team came around and offered water and brought out any beverages ordered. Finally y'all, the FOOD. My shoulders could not stop dancing with excitement as every item came out. We started with Small Plate no. 2 which was beets and stracciatella cheese. Fantastic. We ordered the Cacio e Pepe pizza. And y'all I am not a white pizza girl but my world was truly changed. Absolutely rocked. To top the night off we had the cannolis. Holy smokes y'all. The shell was perfectly crunchy. The filling had all the right flavors. And let me tell you I'm a cannoli purest but the chocolate one was fantastic. Do yourselves a favor and get there immediately and tell everyone you know.

Yelp
From the founder of Jay's Artisan Pizza, we've been anticipating this for months, and we made it in for their opening night. You'll quickly notice that Pizza Florian already has its own identity. Different oven, different crust & toppings, but same affinity for making great pizza. Started with olives and chopped salad, both great. It was a make your mouth happy salad. For pizzas we had Margherita and Cacio e Pepe. Both were good, but the Cacio is what would bring me back. Crust is like a delicious focaccia in a thin way. I'm a huge ricotta fan, and the carefully placed ricotta made each bite perfect. We got one of each cannolis to go, and they were wonderful too. Pizza preparation and oven are on full display, highlighting the hustle and care the team has with their craft. Staff were attentive, kind and dedicated to making the experience great. If you're a pizza aficionado, this is a must visit.

Yelp
The pizza was even better than I expected. It was very casual...order at the counter. I didn't like the wine but the pizza made up for it. Had the Calabrian. It was amazing! Looking forward to going back.

Yelp
Walk up & order fun and casual. Nice casual ambiance. Pizza very good. Kale Caesar also good def tasted healthy

Yelp
This pizza is hands down the best pizza I have ever had. My husband and I are pizza enthusiasts, having travelled to Phoenix and New Haven (with Italy coming next year) and we make our own pizza at home. The dough, toppings, and bake are all perfection here!
google avatar

Yelp
Pizzeria Florian is another great addition to not just East Aurora, but the ever expanding wood fired pizza community. It was a very busy Saturday so they called us when a table was ready and it was about 30 minutes - which based on their occupancy at the time, that's pretty quick. We got the chopped salad which was SUPER fresh and dressed perfectly. Then, we split the calabrian crunch pizza which had perfect amounts of fresh basil, stracciatella, pepperoni, and, honey. Great cook on the pizza. Charred but not overdone. The service was super quick and very friendly. I wish there was more spice to balance the sweet, but the sweet wasn't overpowering. That would be my only small critique
google avatar

Colleen O.

Yelp
Wow ! Everything you heard about this place is true . Great crust - savory toppings , cool vibe , great service . I just can't wait to go again ! And the cannoli - best I've ever had by a landslide ! My dining partner and I are already planning on going again to try another pizza creation (we opted for the mushroom pizza and loved it ) . I do recommend Saturday lunch as it is not as busy as dinner hours . I just love this place and it's a great addition to the East Aurora area

Peter G.

Yelp
I got to go and it was amazing. The pizza even though a little steep in its price made up for it on its taste. Caeser salad was great and so were canolis. Great atmosphere. Highly recommend
google avatar

Ken G.

Yelp
If you like artisan pizza with fresh ingredients on top of a fabulous crust, then this is your spot! The atmosphere is perfect for a pizza spot in a quaint town like East Aurora! The service is very friendly and well versed in all things pizza. The vibe, service, and food are great!
google avatar

Tracie A.

Yelp
I never knew pizza until I experienced Pizzeria Florian....one combination is as delicious as the next‼Non-traditional or standard--something for everyone. Please save room for scrumptious rotating flavors of fresh-filled cannolis. This has become a staple dining/takeout tradition for us. Order well ahead online for quick and easy takeout!
google avatar

Joi C.

Yelp
I was so excited for this pizza magic to come to the Southtowns & it certainly didn't disappoint!!! The antipasti platter was scrumptious. The cheese on its own was flavorful, but added to the meat , combined with the bread created a symphony of happiness in my mouth. Although you order at the counter, the food comes out timely and the waitstaff is very friendly and accommodating. The space itself is cozy and inviting. I wish them all the best in this new location. I will definitely be back.

Yelp
First time at restaurant. Was able to be seated right away. Some limited seats outside as well. Really nice assortment of pizzas with different combination of flavors. I'm addicted to Cacio so had to get that pizza. Many times these appear gimmick but the "sauce" did remind me of the beautiful pecorino cream you get with actual cacio. Hey guys how bout a carbonara pizza with egg, cheese and guanciale for me next? :)

Lisa B.

Yelp
What an amazing experience! The food was delicious! We shared a chopped salad and marinated olives among three of us! The salad was outstanding! We shared two pizzas....a Margarita and a Calabrian Crunch! The pizzas were baked perfectly and the taste, amazing! The service was fantastic! Everyone was very friendly! Can't wait to go back again!

Yelp
Surrender yourself to a Neapolitan pizza at Pizzeria Florian. Your taste buds will thank you. It's not a typical Buffalo-style pizza. And it's not a NY-style pizza. What it is, besides delicious, is an authentic Neapolitan. Thin, crispy, chewy, charred, blistered--and delicious. Order from among the several varieties each of which offers the patron a unique pizza experience. The Calabrian Crunch Pizza was my pick. Sweet, spicy, crispy, and creamy, this pizza is, simply put, fantastic. There can be no wonder why it's a favorite with the Pizzeria Florian foodies. I also enjoyed an order of their Olives (seasoned) and Kale Crunch Caesar. Both were delicious. Then I finished with their in-house Original Cannoli. The pastry shell was sweet, crispy, and crunchy, while the filling, a traditional mix of pineapple, ricotta, confectioner's sugar, and chocolate chips, was light, creamy, and near heavenly. I recommend this place to anyone who wants to expand his or her pizza palate.
google avatar

Yelp
From the founders of Jay's Artisan in Kenmore - I was lucky enough to get some takeout pizzas on their opening night. Amazing pizzas, friendly service and this place will be extremely busy. The dough is so light / flavorful and every pizza was fantastic - Favorite was the cacio e pepe. Well designed dining area and probably around 10 tables and a few window seats. Check instagram for updates as this place will take off

Yelp
I was recommended by a fellow named Jerame sitting on the side of the road with his Ford pickup... asking for recommendations. He told me a tantalizing tale about his escapade to Italy after a bit of a slice from this place... BROTHER! Had to try the spot out immediately and let me tell you... I felt Italy in and around me. Highly recommend. Bombaclat.

Yelp
best by farrrr.... the bestttt pizza in buffalo!!! delicious!! they even have incredible salads!

Kayla M.

Yelp
By far the BEST pizza I've ever had. I cannot even begin to explain how amazing our food was here. I pray this place does well. This is exactly what East Aurora needed!! A place like this! The service was extremely quick(even though it was packed). The guy who took our order was so nice. The restaurant is so clean. 100% will visit this place often it's amazing. We got a build your own pizza with a chopped salad. The chopped salad was AMAZING. The menu is hard to pick from because of how many good options. This place is a must!!

Jay B.

Yelp
Everything about this restaurant is chefs kiss! Pizza was delicious, has a very focused and high quality menu. Ambiance is cozy and it was bustling at 3pm on a Saturday afternoon. Only thing that I would change...it's not in my hometown so not sure when I'll get to go again!
google avatar

Cat S.

Yelp
Amazing food and fantastic service. It's an adorable minimalist space but on the smaller side so expect a wait but it's 1300% worth it. Highly recommend the anti-pasta. The pear mostarda was to die for! We also had the mushroom pizza and it was fantastic! Don't walk, run to support this small local business.

Anonymous H.

Yelp
As a gluten free person, I have tried multiple pizzerias and usually it's just the same frozen crust with different sauces and toppings. Finally I found a gem that takes pride in creating a gluten free crust that is fluffy, hearty and incredible delicious. It's so nice to not feel second fiddle!! This will be where I order from now. Yay! So happy
google avatar

Liz H.

Yelp
What on earth is this gem doing here?! We're visiting from out of town and were recommended this pizza place. East aurora is such a fun little town to visit - but this pizza blew our minds. So so delicious and fresh

Matt N.

Yelp
Really great options. Little pricey for pizza, but you'll forget about that once you take that first bite. The bar wasn't too high around here for pizza, there's a bunch of other options in town, however those are slop mostly and for kids parties or large gatherings. Florian is for intellectuals, and scholars. I went with the Calabrian crunch. Insane amount of flavor. Got a little bit of a bite to it, but it's well behaved. The honey is a delightful touch and really ties it all in. Going back asap.
