Pizza was great! Got the carnivoro and the combinata both tasted very good. The toppings tasted so fresh. Customer service was top notch. Loved that they showed the pizza when picked it up!

If you’re after a quick bite and not too concerned about the dining atmosphere, this is your spot. I mean it when I say this — Pizzeria Forte serves the best pizza in Denver, hands down. Their thin crust is unmatched anywhere in Colorado. Now, the restaurant itself is small, the music doesn’t quite fit the vibe, and a couple of the staff could use a smile—but man, can those guys make a pizza! The flavor and quality more than make up for everything else.

We’ve been ordering take out here for years. Great pizza. NY style, quality ingredients which creates excellent taste. Love this spot.

Most amazing gluten free pizza and vegan options too! Never had a better pizza crust that is gluten free. Loved the homemade Sicilian sauce options. Also vegan sauces!

Very disappointed in this pizza place. From the looks of the outside, i thought it was going to be great pizza. When i opened both of my pizzas, the pizza looked very sloppy. NEVER get the margarita pizza. It looks like they just poured tomato sauce from the can on there and added water to it. It was practically soup on my pizza. I spent $60 on 2 pizzas and i was so frustrated i just threw them away. On top of placing the order 30 minutes ahead of time, i got there at the 30 minute marker and still waited an additional 40 minutes!

Scored a bonus 12” pie with my 20” Supreme. The pizza was hand tossed and super yummy. My wife said it’s her new favorite pizza shop and instructed me to order more pizza from Forté moving forward.

Food: margarita pizza and garlic knots are the 2 dishes we ordered. Margarita pizza had a great tasting thin crust and plenty of basil. The sauce was standard and good. The cheese was very lacking in my opinion (see picture)… I know it’s supposed to be sparse but that little idk??? 🤷 8 garlic knots came with the order making them cost about $1 per piece. Size wise the knots were maybe 2 inches x 2 inches. Very, very happy with the size and taste. Atmosphere: 3 tables inside. 2 booths (4 people each) and 1 small both (2 people max). So if you are looking to dine in, caution ⚠️ The real question… would I go back? Probably. My only hesitation is the low amount of cheese.

This place has taken a long time for orders in the past, but they seem to have really turned things around. I got my delivery order in just a half hour on a busy Friday night. Plus, Tristan went above and beyond to help me out during a snowstorm!! Be careful if you order the pepperoni rolls, they are totally addicting!! 😋

Being a new parent, delivery has increased exponentially in this household. And who doesn't crave pizza every minute and every hour of every day? Pizzeria Forte is a pizza joint in Lakewood that I had never heard of until we ordered from them. I found them while scrolling DoorDash and their menu sounded great while being reasonably priced. Food showed up pretty quickly and it was time to chow down. We did half and half on the pie. My wife wanted cheese, I wanted something more. I went back to an old fave of my pizza rotation; pepperoni, garlic and basil. Bellissimo! The cook of the pie was solid, on par for New York-style. The pepperoni-garlic-basil combo is clutch, because it's salty from the pepperoni, has good bite from the garlic, and the herbaceousness only basil can provide. Textbook definition of a great takeout pie! The kicker were the jalapeño rolls. These were stupid good! And they come with ranch or spicy ranch. They were actually spicy and chewy and cravably delish. I couldn't shove these down fast enough! Will definitely order from Pizzeria Forte in the future. Remember to support the mom and pops!

So ono good, hit THE SPOT! Grateful that this was around the corner from where I was staying in Lakewood area. I ordered something not on menu Sicilian Margarita, they were sure it could be done lol. It was so yummy I almost wasn't gonna share any of it, but did end up trading with friend for a traditional, to try it at least. If you are hungry like I was, go for the Silician style pizza! Thick, satisfying, plenty basil, DEE-lish! Can't wait to try another style. Ate there and enjoyed the rock n roll playlist they were jamming overhead, Hendrix, Stevie Ray Vaughn got me thinking about my transcended pops. Tip the hardworking team they were busy making pizzas!

Great pizza, I love the small cupping pepperonis. Pickup is best, sometimes delivery is a bit slow.

Had a margurita. Crust tasted fine, but needed another half cup of sauce. A big disappointment after reading the reviews.

Worst food ever!!!! $50 of food that is inedible pizza tastes like cardboard salad was wilted and also inedible do not waste your money!!!!

The pizza, garlic knots and calzones are great. We do take out. But I ordered and my wife picked it up and they forgot to give her our salad. Common theme with takeout and I don't know why they can't get it together to check the receipt and get all of the items.

I erpriced and very few toppings. I use to really like this place. The service is okay.

Had a slice for lunch and it was a good sized slice for $5.00. I returned 2 days later and got a small pizza with Sausage. Probably would get it well done next time.

Thought this was a really good pizza place. Called ahead for takeout and the pizza was ready when promised. The Orazia was delicious - chewy, crunchy crust with prosciutto, dates and argula. Another time for deliver, the Combinata had it all, sausage, peperoni, peppers, onions, olives -- it arrived ahead of schedule-- very nice. A fresh salad with pear, walnuts and arugula was also exceptional. The people inside the place know what they are doing. This place serves quality pizzas at reasonable prices. Its worth a try. Owned by the same people who run Teller's across the street.

Ordered the Orazia - it sounded phenomenal, but wasn't as flavorful as I expected with all those differing and potent ingredients, which was a bit of a letdown. Pizza was baked well, crispy crust, ready in a timely manner and friendly staff. Not a sit down type of spot in the cooler months, but it is what is it.

Would not return again. Pizza was average at best. Pricey for the quality. 5 out of 10 stars.

it looked and sounded delicious. However I failed to read the reviews. In hindsight I agree with all the negative ones. we ordered 2 pizzas both were close to flavorless. What ever made it through was bland. Seriously I can't even imagine how to make it taste better at home. Even the crust was drab I won't be going back

The food here is good if they get your order right. We have been going here for years and love the arugula and radicchio salad but unfortunately it is a 1 in 3 chance that they'll get all the ingredients in the salad. Despite there being only 3 ingredients (goat cheese, dates, and walnuts) usually there is one missing. The garlic knots are also delicious but sadly there is also a 1 in 3 chance that the knots will have garlic, be around the same size and not burnt. I have called when there has been issues with the food and again it is a 1 in 3 chance that you'll speak to someone that cares and rectifies the situation.

Love this place. Great pizza and salad and wonderful happy staff. Both our daughters' family and us try to get there every other week and now they are open for lunch. Yahoo!

Crust is different; not as good... We used to love this place. But the pizza now is completely SOGGY. They also changed the ranch dressing. It used to taste homemade and fresh and full of dill. Now it tastes like cheap Kraft, disgusting dressing. PLEASE stop downgrading ingredients, Pizzeria Forte. You are losing clients in Applewood.

Small joint with bar seating only. Ordered the Paisano and the wedge salad to go. I loved the homemade balsamic dressing but the salad itself was sorta hard to eat given that it was a head of romaine with toppings that you then cut, inch by inch to eat. Not my favorite style and the panchetta was hella burnt but I liked the flavors. The sandwich has good flavors and the bread wasnt overly crunch or hard to eat like most places. I will probably be back to try some other menu items.

Crust is different; not as good... We used to love this place. But they recently changed the crust. The crust now lacks flavor (like salt), is tough, and tastes like cardboard. Please go back to the old crust!!

This has to be the worst pizza I have ever had. The cheese was burned. I will never be going back, and would avoid this place if I were you

We finally stopped in to try their pizza and were impressed by the flavors and home made ingredients. I opted for the Leonardo mushroom pizza and the hubs went for the Combinata pizza. We also shared an order of garlic knots. The garlic knots were good but could have been better with more butter and garlic. That is a food that demands lots of flavor and dough that is almost slightly undercooked. The Leonardo pizza had an awesome selection of mushrooms on it and was one of the better mushroom pizzas I have eaten. A 12" is the only size for this pizza but it will easily get two meals. The hubs' really enjoyed the Combinata pizza and will be able to make two meals out of it as well. The staff was all friendly and we will definitely be coming back to continue trying different options.

Visiting Lakewood and came by Forte's. Right now we enjoying a large pepperoni pizza. New York slices. Excellent. The salad was quite good with fresh veggies. And the cannoli were memorable. We ordered and did not wait long. The owner was quite friendly and was able to give some insights into the surrounding area. A delightful repast after a hot day.

WOW!! Best crust ever in the Olivia pizza! They have absolutely perfected their crust over the last six months. We live nearby and have ordered pizza once a week. The handmade gelato is unique and flavorful. We also enjoyed the super fresh spinach and pear salad combo. Best edition to our Edgewater neighborhood, beyond our expectations!! Steven Ferguson

Unfortunately Forte seems to have gone downhill recently. The pizzas are inconsistent (missed toppings multiple times) and the service is getting worse. The orders are basically never ready on time and it's a madhouse trying to get them to even talk to you in the store. Also the last time I tried to order online it didn't work. Here's hoping they can improve!

Under staffed, ridiculous wait times. Placed an online order with a delayed pick up time. When I arrived at my scheduled pick-up time, I wasn't acknowledged by staff for 10 minutes. After waiting for a half hour, I was finally told that my food hadn't started to be made yet. They need more staff with better communication skills.

We pulled up in front of the building unable to see the designated parking spots due to bad upkeep regarding their spacing paint. Keep in mind my passenger is handicap so we were trying to park close. We ordered our pizza and decided to wait outside because our dog was in the car. One of the employees came out and demanded we move the car per his manager. We literally waited 2 minutes longer and our pizza was ready. So unnessacery on their part. I could understand if we were sitting down and eatting. The whole experience was very unfriendly. Not only was the customers service terrible, the pizza was poorly thrown together. Once we got home and opened up the box only to find poorly made pizza just thrown on top of one another. Needless to say we will be spending our money else where from now on. I would never recommend this place to anyone.

I have been here five times and this is rapidly becoming my go to place for pasta shells. Fresh pizza is also a big win, especially with the kids. Most places get reviews on quantity instead of quality, this is a happy medium - I'm happy with the portions and the quality for only $10 per meal (I typically buy 2). I love the sauce! And it's abundant! Pasta and cheeses are fresh. Meat is fine. Sauce is amazing. Not dry - that's why I keep coming back. Wait is 20 min after 4pm on weekdays, call ahead with the credit card. The small outdoor seating is rarely taken and is evening sun/facing. Haven't tied the calzones yet -still a to-go pasta shell devotee. It comes with yummy small fresh bread buns. I have repeatedly tried to give this place my business but I am consistently disappointed. Not only are prices very high and wait times always over an hour, but sometimes the food is a miss. There are certain items on the menu that are not good food, and from time to time the pizza is very greasy and soggy in the middle. The final straw for me was I just ordered tonight and 2 hours later with no pizza they aren't answering the phone. If you're closed for the night, update your website to not take orders...

Delicious, Authentic and Unpretentious! Great quality pizza, very fresh and taste very close to pizza I had in Italy. We had the 16" and a slice and a half was enough for me. Just the perfect amount of cheese, toppings, sauce and it's thin crust is just the way I prefer. Meatball and sausage was on point. Great serving size for antipasto. Cannoli was fresh (not frozen). I can taste the orange zest, ricotta and it is sweet enough but not too sweet! Perfectly balanced

pizza was undercooked, floppy, fell apart when picking up a slice, sauce seemed like it was good quality although was def too thick in the center and barely any around the sides, dough also seemed like it was decent quaity although missed the mark there as well, not enough rise in the crust instead of being pillowy and soft was dense and thick... pepperoni was slightly above average quality even though the website proclaimed top shelf. never have i been more upset in my entire life though that when I begrudgingly asked for ranch ( no blue cheese is a serious red flag) than when the employee wouldt even verbalize the price but flips a monitor at me, which in itself is honestly kind of insulting "here just pay this here" instead of answering the question i asked like a human... but after looking down at the tiny print i was angered and appalled!?!?!? $2.22 for a ranch cup? regret to say i lost my mind cursed and stormed out , I'm honestly embarassed FOR the owner, $1.50 maybe in san fran or nyc where the commer real estate prices are sky high, normally a ranch or blue cheese is 50 cents -$1.... but. theres really no justification or excuse here and i will happily be spending my money elsewhere where they cook their pies proper and you can walk out the door feeling like you havent been ripped off.

Someone found the pizzas flavorless? We've been ordering from here since they opened, and that is not a word we would ever use to describe their pizza! We like the Combinata, and that is our 'go to'. But we've been enjoying Massaro, Leonardo, and Olivia too. Not a fan of prosciutto, so I've never tried the Orazia. I'll believe that someone got a less than stellar pizza, maybe, on an off day, or someone ordered a pizza that turned out to be not to their taste, but come on. Some of the negative reviews seem a little over the top. They make some of our favorite local pizza, we just ordered for tonight, and we'll keep ordering from here.

Food is good, wait times have been off 2 out of the last 3 times we've ordered. Historically, they have been pretty accurate. It would be nice if their computer could generate the estimated time & send a text message when the pizza goes into the oven. Fairly simple metrics to calculate this. I don't mind waiting, but set realistic expectations.

I tried to support local, and maybe it was a bad idea to order at 5:15pm on a Friday, but I won't be back after yesterday. I was hesitant to try this place, because I am not a huge fan of tellers, but decided to give it a try based on recommendations. I ordered 1 order of chicken wings and one order of garlic knots. They told me 40 minutes. I arrived to pick it up 45 minutes after and they still didn't have my order ready. There were at least 2-3 other people who had also ordered ahead and were waiting. After 10 mins of wAiting ( so an hour total for wings and knots) we got our food. The wings were super small, and disappointing. Not much reason to go back.

Was a long term faithful customer at this pizzeria. Till I ordered my regular pizza this evening as I normally do extra sauce on the pizza and crispy . I went to pick it up and found extra sauce on the side and my pizza was extremely burnt. I mean worse than any other time I've ordered my pizza exactly the same. I inquired as to whether they actually put extra sauce on my pizza. My answer I got was no. I then got introduced to the NEW manager. He explained to me that they no longer put extra sauce on pizza only on the side from now on. I then asked why they (Pizza Forte) was able to perform this task prior to his being hired. He (the new mana) went on to tell me that "they (Pizza Forte) was doing everything wrong" prior to him arriving there. I was appalled to hear this, knowing the owners also own the restaurant directly across the street. And (IMO) thought they've been doing a fantastic job up until hiring this manager that thinks everyone should eat & make the pizza his way not the what the customer wants! But I digress, he seemed surprised that I wanted a refund for my pizza. I can tell this manager has pizza experience by the way his new procedures managed to really F'd up my pizza . And I can tell he's such a good manager because all good managers talk bad about the owners they are employed by. (Being facetiously humorous on that sentence) Not to mention offering to remedy the situation. So if you're looking for good pizzaor great pizza you will no longer find it here. I suggest you go elsewhere. I will not go back here anymore, unless management changes. Leaving as a extremely disappointed customer .

Without a doubt the best pizza in town, worth the extra cost. When I got to the restaurant to pick up my pizza. There were 2 guys preparing pizzas and salads in plain sight without masks. Unbelievable! The main guy taking orders was wearing a mask. But not the guy who is talking over my food? What the hell are they thinking? I paid $50 for 2 pizzas and a salad and now I cannot eat it.

Can get by the slice (any toppings you want), my husband is a New Jersey pizza snob and he loved this pizza (he never like the pizza anywhere we go), I was impressed with the size of the slice and the quality of the toppings! The staff was super nice and let us know if we bought a ranch and soda we could get free garlic knots...those were great too! Love that you are not shy with the garlic! Love this place

Best damn pizza in my opinion even better than NYC pizza. We will never waste our time with the chain pizzas again. Prices are absolutely comparable but the taste is superior. And the slices are foldable huge. PIZZA HEAVEN IN MY MOUTH

I've been hearing from friends and on Nextdoor rave reviews about this place, so finally decided to try it tonight. SOOO disappointing!! Tasteless dough, skimpy toppings with barely any sauce or cheese. Won't be returning. Applewood seriously needs to refine its pizza taste buds... what passes for gourmet here is meh compared to East Coast pizzerias.

Excellent pizza with fresh ingredients. I'll never order pizza delivery from the big chains. Ample toppings, fresh crust and sauce. It's more expensive, but worth it. They can be busy on weekends so plan accordingly.

Best pizza in town..... however, as I've been telling the sultan for months, their new website sucks. Frankly, I'd rather drive across town for pizza from someone who actually wants my business

This place is a 10 out of 10. Great atmosphere good cute outdoor seating. The owner is super nice what a great guy. My girlfriend and I had the best pizza and garlic knots I swear this place really is a hidden gem.

Pepperoni and Mushroom pizza(16 inch) and mild Buffalo Wings(10). $29. Service was excellent. Pizza a 8 and wings a 7. Service was a 9.

Never again will I order from here. Waited an hour and a half for a medium pizza then called and was told it would be another 30 min. When I told the guy on the phone I had already waited an hour and a half, he said I don't know what to tell you it'll be another 30. Then I told him I I'd like to cancel my order and he said great. Unbelievable. In less than a half a mile from there. Couldn't go pick it up because I had two babies at home. TheY need to figure it out. Not the first time this has happened either.

So badly want to love this place. Tonight, the cashier guy made salads without washing his hands, on top of 1 hour 15 minute wait for pizza. Not great. The service is just terrible - when you walk in, they may acknowledge you, or they may leave your pizza sitting to get cold while they ignore you. Just awful.

Food is phenomenal, the service is heinous. We waited 2.5 hours for our order, which was wrong again. I emailed to let them know how much we love their food but will probably not go back because the service is so bad. No response.

Being from Philadelphia it's hard to find a good pizza. To say this pizza is good is a understatement!! It's not just good its great ! The employees are awesome, making you feel like your a part of the family. I cant say enough about this place;) the service is great and pizza is fantasic! what more can you ask for!!

I used to really like this place.Ot and as in fact.one of my 2 favorite pizza places in greater Denver. Not any more. Quality is way down as is the quantity.
