The Best Pizza in Rome

"People flock to I Quintili for its incredibly light fried starters, so be sure to order the frittatina ‘nduja (fried rice ball with spicy ‘nduja sausage) and frittatina alla puttanesca (with garlic, capers, anchovies, olives and parmesan). The pizzas come in classic or fried versions—which have long been a Neapolitan street food staple. Try the Pizza Fritta with Neapolitan salami, ricotta, and provolone cheese. The more classic pizzas are made to traditional Neapolitan specifications (thick and doughy), and span everything from classics like Margherita and Capricciosa to the more unique Novella (smoked buffalo mozzarella, potatoes, sausage and rosemary) and Oro Giallo (orange tomatoes, buffalo mozzarella, red tomato shavings, and orange essence). The staff are helpful and efficient. Pizzas come out hot and fast, and are served with a smile." - Maresa Manara, Katie Parla

Pizzeria I Quintili — Restaurant Review | Condé Nast Traveler

"What were your first impressions when you arrived?   The latest outpost of Pizzeria I Quintili is in Rome ’s EUR residential and business district is its most stylish yet. Tables are spread out beneath a turquoise blue-colored ceiling, the kitchen easily visible through a clear window. It’s comfortable, smart and packed pretty much every night. What’s the crowd like?   The EUR district is a residential neighborhood with homes and local businesses, so most of the diners come from the nearby offices or some of the surrounding districts—all looking for a relaxed night out and good pizza. Lately, though, the excellent reviews have seen Romans travel from other parts of the city to sample I Quintili’s pizza. What should we be drinking?   There are some good wines on the list that work well with the thick, Neapolitan style pizzas, alongside a small drinks menu that includes soft drinks and Italian craft beers and ales. Main event: the food. Give us the lowdown—especially what not to miss.   People flock to I Quintili for its incredibly light fried starters, so be sure to order the frittatina ‘nduja (fried rice ball with spicy ‘nduja sausage) and frittatina alla puttanesca (with garlic, capers, anchovies, olives and parmesan). And how did the front-of-house folks treat you?   The staff are helpful and efficient. Pizzas come out hot and fast, and are served with a smile. What’s the real-real on why we’re coming here?   EUR may not be on the main Roman hit list, but it’s worth the trek just for pizza and ambience here. Take some friends for an authentic Roman experience." - Maresa Manara

Google
Best pizza in Montagnola. Always busy because it’s the best. The classic crocchette are also a huge win. I Quintili is my go to at least once per week.

TRUE Neapolitan pizza. That's it. You can search in Rome but this place is unique. Very fast service as well. PS try their hand made desserts!!

Google
Neapolitan pizza that tastes like heavenly clouds, no exaggeration. We ordered the truffle pizza and the eggplant parmesan pizza, both exceptionally good 👍

If you are looking from Neapolitan style pizza in Rome, this pizzeria in placed near the EUR neighborhood and it’s relatively quick to reach from different locations. The food is prepared with fresh and genuine ingredients, and the pizza recipes are reflecting the tradition but also several innovative and gourmet recipes are offered. There is good selection of beers and wine. The service is quick and well organized. The price is right.

The number one Napoli style pizza! The crocchetta alla parmigiana/ amatriciana and gricia starter they served were excellent. And this was just a taste of what's to come. We chose 4 pizzas. It was hard to narrow it down to just 4! The perfect dough, according to me, is thick and soft around and thin in the middle. We took Margherita, Crochettina, Deliziosa, and Novella one, and it was delicious. Each pizza was wonderful and wonderfully different on its own right... SO SO GOOD. Really enjoyed our meal and the music and friendly staff ensured a good night out!

Pillowy pizza dough and good quality ingredients. Congenial staff. I have to say it makes the mark of one of the better pizzerias in Rome.

Pizza is simply amazing. Also pizza fritta is amazing. People baking pizza do a fantastic job. Unfortunately the service is really insufficient even if they have several people serving. The place is absolutely not adequate for a pizzeria. They should place some flowers, tents, and light ..... To attract customers they should invest more to furnish the space, especially the outdoors.
