I am pregnant and left a Zumba workout class with ravenous hunger lol… and the first thing that came to mind was pasta and I knew just the place to go! P. Mercato has quality food and service! The food is fresh every time and the flavors are always spot on. I couldn’t think of any other place to go for pasta except here! The meatballs and pizza are top notch as well. You can’t go wrong in ordering anything on the menu. The workers are professional yet personable. I ordered takeout, but the gentleman still served me water and treated me as though I was dine in. Thank you for existing!! I see myself coming here more often during this pregnancy! Keep being great P. Mercato! We need more restaurants like you! Hats off to the chefs/cooks! :-)

Loved the wine (pinot noir + valochila) + lemoncello cake. The maradonna pizza was ok (thin, cheesy but missing some omph). Came for happy hour. Will return. They have indoor and outdoor seating. Light-filled and lots of menu choices.

Went to the public market for some lunch, the public area was so crowded. So we decided to check out Pizzeria Mercato, the place is spacious! The calamari was delicious, would order that again! The pizza and pasta were good as well, but the calamari is a must for us. All and all, we had a relaxing lunch.

If you are in the Emeryville area, Mercato Pizzeria at the Market Place is an absolute must-visit! From start to finish, this place delivers an unforgettable dining experience. For appetizers, we started with the chicken wings and garlic flatbread. The wings were incredibly flavorful and juicy, with the perfect balance of seasoning that left me wanting more. The garlic flatbread was just heavenly—crispy on the outside, soft and fluffy on the inside, with a wonderful blend of garlic and herbs that made it utterly addictive. For the main course, we ordered both the margarita pizza and the pepperoni pizza, and they did not disappoint. The margarita pizza had a wonderfully tangy tomato sauce, fresh mozzarella, and a perfectly crisp crust that was both light and satisfying. The pepperoni pizza was equally impressive—loaded with perfectly spiced pepperoni and the right amount of cheese, with a nice balance of flavors in every bite. The crust on both pizzas was just the right amount of chewy, with a slight crispiness that added an extra layer of texture. What really made the experience stand out was the staff. They were incredibly friendly and accommodating, going above and beyond to make sure we had everything we needed. The atmosphere was warm and inviting, making it the perfect spot for a casual yet delicious meal. I highly recommend Mercato Pizzeria to anyone looking for great pizza and outstanding service. It’s definitely a five-star experience!

Google
What an absolute pleasant place to enjoy excellent dining! While staying nextdoor at the Hyatt House hotel with my group working a nearby event, a number of us walked over to the International Market each day to eat. Many good choices there but everyone's favorite, was Pizzeria Mercato!! It certainly was mine! Murat was so welcoming and kind when I walked in even tho it was close to closing time. I heard how wonderful the Minestrone was so I had to try it... Oh My Goodness, DELISH- Incredible Flavor!!! Absolutely perfect... Zero needed to be added to it, best I've ever had! Thank you very much Murat, and Pizzeria Mercato! You'll Love it!

Google
Waiter took my order and I waited 10-15 minutes.. He never asked if I wanted water or anything...But a family of 7 came in and he instantly gave water without asking..

Google
Pizzeria Mercato has become our go-to location where you just know you'll always have great food and excellent service. Their Neapolitan style pizza is to die for, as are their pastas. The people are always warm and friendly, and even gave our little one a quick pizza making workshop!

Google
We live down the street and have loved coming to Pizza Mercato in Emeryville ever since they opened! The food is always incredible!!! It tastes and feels so authentic, but the space itself has a fresh, modern aesthetic that makes it feel welcoming and cool without being over the top. We always come back for the carbonara (Soo good), the Quattro pizza, and my husband is obsessed with the meatballs. Everything is made with care and full of flavor. The staff are always friendly and professional in a really chill, approachable way. My only tiny wish is for a few more non-alcoholic drink options, but honestly, that’s just me being picky. This place is a gem and we’re so lucky it’s in our neighborhood! 🫶

Yelp
Found this place while waiting for a 9pm Amtrak out of Emeryville, conveniently located using the pedestrian bridge over the tracks (there are 2 elevators separately located if you have luggage). The space is expansive and comfortably lit. The host noted our many bags, and we were seated near the front door behind the host station with space to store the luggage (thoughtful). The first thing that struck me was the big pizza oven and that the whole kitchen was visible. Not to mention the whole mood was cozy with a big mural of the Sistine chapel but with a pizza slice being ceremoniously handed off from an Italian town to SF... The staff were jovially bustling about and the whole vibe was chill. We ordered the Margherita pizza, and Caprese that came with pesto vs. the typical balsamic glaze. Both delicious and portioned perfectly for two, accompanied by a very nice Sangiovese. The topper was the specials dessert of a delectable profiterole (French style cream puff of which I'd never tried before). It was incredible. I'd go back just for that, to be honest. Definitely planning to pad my wait time the next time I hit the train station so I can explore more of their menu. Mangia Tutti!

Yelp
Don't sleep on Pizzeria Mercato. Located next to the Public Market in Emeryville, this spot offers a $5 off discount on Margherita pizzas all day on Mondays, so naturally, we came on a Monday to check it out. We ordered the Italian Quinoa Salad to start, the Mac & Cheese for the kiddo, and the Marg pizza. We arrived shortly after they opened, so not too many groups were seated yet. Service was adequate, pricing is fair, and the restaurant itself is actually pretty open and incredibly spacious. I loved the quinoa salad ~ it came with cucumber, tomato, sliced avocado, arugula, almonds, and topped with a light Italian dressing. The Mac & Cheese was kiddo (and adult approved, yum!) and the marg was delicious...topped with olive oil and a bit of their hot chili oil..chef's kiss. They also offer pasta, paninis, and a fun antipasti menu. Next time I would love to try the Arancini (fried rice balls) and potentially a meatball sando. There's also an Artichoke Spinach pizza I have my eye on and a Fettuccine Carbonara dish as well. They have lunch and dinner menus, ample shopping center parking outside.

Yelp
My manager and I came here after work and was super excited to try this place! We both were seated down immediately and our server was attentive throughout the whole dinner. My manager ordered the minestrone and rigatoni bolognese. She really liked how the minestrone soup had a lot of vegetables. I loved the brussel sprouts as it had balsamic vinaigrette. I ordered the arrabbiata and it was sooooo good. The hint of spice balanced the sauce and I love a good rigatoni. Would love to come back during work trips.

Yelp
The margherita pizza was delicious. The crust was light and had the right flavor for me. The calamari was also light and crispy but slightly powdery and bland. I also didn't care for the sauce they paired with it. The service was blah but they got the job done. It was 8 pm on a Sunday night so that might have had something to do with it.
google avatar

Juanna F.

Yelp
Spacious restaurant separated from the main market for some privacy. It was pretty empty for a Sunday lunch. You can see them firing up the pizzas in the open fire oven, which is cool. The food was quick to come out. My party of four had the calamari, prosciutto pizza, and spinach artichoke pizza. All of the items we ordered we were enjoyable. They were light and not too heavy on the stomach and taste buds. The calamari was crispy with a light batter and paired well with the marinara sauce. The pizzas had a thin crust and good texture.

Yelp
My daughter and I have been to this restaurant on three separate occasions. Yes, the Margherita pizza is tasty, but we prefer the pastas and salads. The beet salad is filled with arugula, small chunks of beets and goat cheese. It is the best beet salad that we've had locally. The portobello mushroom pasta or the salmon pasta is also exceptional. Not only are the noodles al dente, but the sauces are divine. My daughter goes to UC Berkeley and we've tried many restaurants near her, but we end up driving to Emeryville when we want both excellent pasta and salads. We hope you stay in business and we think your name doesn't represent all that your restaurant has to offer.

Yelp
My local fav! The best margarita pizza and fried calamari around! I can always rely on their great pie! Thanks guys!
google avatar

Juicke C.

Yelp
I have been craving for spaghetti and meatballs. So my dining buddy took me to this place where I have had pizza many times before. On Mondays their margarita pizza is $5 off. To day we had fried calamari, margarita pizza and rigatoni bolognese and side order of meat balls. The calamari came out quickly, it was airy yet crispy dipped in their sauce was amazing. The bolognese sauce a bit on the salty side but the meat ball brought out the best on this dish. And the margarita pizza buried the basil beneath the cheese, it may be a nice tough but I miss the direct taste of basil when it's directly on top of the pizza. It tastes more like a cheese only pizza. I guess if I was expecting that I wouldn't be so disappointed. However, pleasant environment and wait person. In general, food is good making a very nice dining experience.
google avatar

J S.

Yelp
It's a solid pizza and preferred to the previous hot Italian and a good addition to the public market. I wish they operated out of a smaller restaurant. I don't see how they're going to sustain that massive rent
google avatar

Yelp
Hidden away in a corner of Emeryville, Pizzeria Mercato is silently one of the best Italian restaurants in the Bay. While the appetizers are solid, from the arancini to the meatballs, the absolute highlights are the restaurant's wide variety of classic Italian pastas and pizza. With both carbonaras and Margherita pizzas that are similar in quality to those you find in Italy, there's no shortage of classic Italian dishes to try. Having frequented this restaurant almost too many times to count, the two highlights of the menu are the chicken fusilli pasta and the prosciutto pizza, both of which are rich in flavor and leave you wanting more. With great service and a large open space with a wine bar attached, it's the perfect spot to spend an evening to relax and enjoy fantastic hearty Italian food. If you're in the area, Pizzeria Mercato is definitely worth making a separate trip out.

Yelp
Definitely a great place for wings pizza. Service is exceptional, and the staff is extremely accommodating for large groups The restaurant is very clean beautifully decorated Highly recommend this for anyone looking for wine, delicious pizza, and wings There's plenty of parking across the street

Yelp
I was at the Public Market and felt like getting pizza. The server who helped me out was very nice. I got the Brisket Pizza for about $27.50 after tax. It seemed enormous for a 12" personal pizza. It looked better than it tasted. The flavors were very muted. I think the cheese was the best component. The crust was soft and limp with an okay sourdough flavor. The tomato sauce was a plain and basic tomato sauce on the watery side. I was a bit disappointed by the brisket topping, despite the generous amount. The meat was on the dry side and lacked umami flavor. The leftovers tasted better cold, as this brought out the chewiness of the dough and the sweetness of the mild sauce.

Yelp
10/10 Pizza. There's no other place in emeryville I go to get pizza than this place. I had the Quattro Formaggi pizza and it was hands down one of the best slices of pizza I've had in a while. I'm a big cheese type of guy so this pizza instantly became my go to pizza. This place has a very nice ambiance and really good service. The waiter that served was really nice and came to check on us often. I 100% recommend this fine establishment, 10/10.

Yelp
A warm modern atmosphere and prompt friendly staff started the dinner but the food stole the show! I started with a caesar salad which was fresh, crisp, and dressed just right. Very satisfying. The pizza arrived, looked great, and tasted even better. Airy, crispy, delicate dough topped with melty tasty cheese and pepperoni. It was all delicious and this place is definitely worth visiting if you're interested in quality pizza.

Yelp
This restaurant does not have any hot drinks . We tried to get hot water and that was not offered

Yelp
Pizza Mercato is located on the exterior of the Public Market, even though I believe there is access from the inside of the building as well. Great spot for casual dining with outside seating as well as a spacious dining area inside. I would have liked to try more of the menu but on this occasion I ordered: Pepperoni Pizza $28 including tax: If you like thin crust, this is excellent pizza. The dough was a good texture with a slight chew, and the pizza had the right amount of sauce to cheese ratio. My only complaint is $28 is high for what you get here. Service was good and the employees helpful. Overall a good spot for Italian cuisine.
google avatar

Vanessa C.

Yelp
I enjoyed the pizza! I thought it was perfect for lunch and tasty, I can't wait to try the other flavors. The mariners sauce was really good too. As for my boyfriend, this isn't his type of pizza place. He would need somewhere heartier and thicker dough. He was still pretty hungry. But if you like thin crust its great! The girl serving us seemed really unbothered and not very interested. Everyone else though was super nice so maybe she was over it that day. But it was very off putting and put a bad taste in our mouths when initially being seated. Came on a Wednesday afternoon and was empty.
google avatar

Jason V.

Yelp
Return visit.. ordered the beet salad, rigatoni bolognese and the chocolate mousse pie. These were all delightful and really tasty. The bolognese was more small-mince than chunky -- it was fresh and well layered. Would definitely come back for these dishes.

Yelp
PM is located in Emeryville's Public Food Market and has an internal entrance from the public market and an external entrance from the street and expansive parking lot. The restaurant is high ceilinged with large glass windows, gray and white walls, black ceiling with exposed pipes and light fixtures, large bar, TVs for your favorite sports, ... an industrial warehouse vibe. We had: - Sausage and Broccoli Rab Truffle Oil pizza which was a thin crust with perfect mix of saltiness from the sausage, bitterness from the broccoli and earthiness from the truffle oil. We liked this flavor combination. - Quinoa Salad which was fresh and full of flavor. Why a 4? The waitress was not happy to be there and not very welcoming on a quiet weekday. We liked the busboy better as he was polite and interacted with us as if he cared...yep...he interacted with us more often than the waitress. She needs to know that her being there is not like a favor to us....
google avatar

Pearl B.

Yelp
We we enjoyed pepperoni and sausage, pizza, beet salad, and wine. The service was nice and the price was moderate.
google avatar

Yelp
Great margherita pizza and cold beer. This restaurant has a large dinning area, outside patio and a good size bar. The pizza I ordered was great, good undercarriage, flavorful and still affordable. The bar has a good selection of beer and wine. I decided to pair my pizza with a craft pint and it didn't disappoint.

Sharon J.

Yelp
Def in the top 5 of my pizza spots! Their Bolognese pasta was amazing, I used the leftover sauce to top on pizza crust (thank me later). Their pistachio cheesecake was amazing, it's not on the menu, it's their dessert special for the week? I'll def be back! The staff was great, too!!!
google avatar

Yelp
Mushroom Pizza 4 stars Calamari 3 stars, corn meal based. Very bland. Aranchini 3 stars, not enough sauce for 3. Bland as well. Rigatoni bolognese was pretty darn tasty. 4 stars. Cesar salad was good. 4 stars
google avatar

Trinh A.

Yelp
YUM! I loved the prosciutto pizza here! The type of pizza is great, not too thin and not too thick. You can definitely taste the quality and freshness. I added truffle oil to it for an extra $2, which was worth it. The pizza itself is about $25 for 6 slices though.

Yelp
Another dissapointing meal at the Public Market in Emeryville. Great location with plenty of parking, too bad their food is a hard meh. Full disclosure they refunded me for my horrible rigatoni bolagnase. The waitress was nice so I gave her a good tip. Back to the horrible pasta. Overcooked, but the sauce was what we couldn't stomach. Watery horrible tomato sauce that reminded me of a Hungry Man TV dinner, but worse. We both tried it and sent it back. The manager glared at us, and he kept staring. He was obviously pissed. The waitress also said she would tell the chef, too. Bad vibes all around. The mushroom pizza with added truffle oil was meh. We wished it was piping hot, but it was just like a little more than warm, and we didn't taste the Truffle oil at all. Lemon cake was a hit for me, but a miss for my coworker. Very Tart and bitter lemon sauce on the side, but I personally thought the lemon cake was moist and good. Just a sad experience with a 3 star meh rating. Don't hate the reviewer, I'm just being honest.

Yelp
Got the brisket pizza with caramelized onions, oil cured peppers, and parsley (though I omitted the parsley and ended up taking off the cured peppers since spice has been upsetting my stomach lately). The pizza was nice and thin, but there was too much cornmeal or semolina on the crust. The tomato sauce tasted less stewed -- more like fresh crushed out of the can rather than a marinara that cooked for a long time. The mozzarella was sliced too thick and caused the center to get soggy as soon as it was delivered to my table. Brisket needed some salt and was a tad dry. Caramelized onions needed more color. A few pieces of onions must've come from an onion that was going bad and tasted of it. I spit it out. Water was so cold and refreshing with a hint of lemon. Though I didn't ask for lemon water and now that I think on it, didn't want it. As for service, the restaurant was empty and the waitress took a few minutes to respond to the service bell once my pizza was ready. This might have been okay if the pizza was in better proportion. Also, eating alone sucks.

Scot L.

Yelp
Terrible service. Waiters acted like I was a total pia. Food was great, however, the waiter closed the umbrella over me while eating outside, proceeded to dump dirt in to my food Ghetto
google avatar

Heather D.

Yelp
This a nice option at the Public Market. The space is carved out so it is it's own little restaurant with lots of seating both indoors and out. The employees are lovely, responsive and ready to engage. They have a large bar that is perfect if you want to enjoy a wine or beer with the apps on offer. I was also surprised that they had pasta and sandwiches (like pannis) too. We went for the Artichoke Spinach and Sausage & Broccoli Rabe pizzas knowing we would take some home. We assumed the sausage would be a red sauce, but it wasn't so we ended up with only the white sauce pizzas (our fault for not asking). When I requested a little marinara to dip some of my leftover crust in they were happy to provide it (thank you for going above and beyond). Love the thin crust, and there is so much other than just the pizza I want to try.

Yelp
I've noticed this pizza place a few times but finally had the chance to stop by today. Glad I did! First of all, they are often open when other restaurants at public market are not - I appreciate this very much. I also appreciate that they have ample indoor and outdoor seating and though they are at the public market, their entrance/access is from outside, not inside the market. They also have a personal pizza with drink lunch special that ends at 230pm. I will definitely take advantage of this next time; that or their $5 pizza on margherita Monday! They actually have a special everyday of the week so make sure to check before you head over! My sister and I shared the spinach artichoke pizza which was a little salty but also very tasty. I particularly liked the freshness of the crust which was thin and perfect - not hard and cardboard like which is what you get with some thin crust pizzas. There were plenty of artichokes and spinach too so they were not stingy with toppings. We also got garlic bread with marinara which was also fresh and tasty. Overall, I would definitely return to this pizza spot and I look forward to trying some other items - mac and cheese and/or their pastas! Oh and I should also note that the staff was fantastic - they greeted us right away, were kind and helpful and patient. A plus for service.

Yelp
Did a quick drive by at Pizzeria Mercato's on Monday night for their Marg Special ($5 off)! Service was quick and excellent with getting my order placed right away. In the meantime, I used the restroom and it was very clean and organized. Pizza came out piping hot and fresh within 9-12 minutes. We were in and out, and on our way home to enjoy an evening in before we knew it. Margherita Pizza is 10/10 Would be back just for this (as we have many times before)! I highly recommend their Brisket Pizza as well! Interested to try their pasta next... But everytime we come, we cannot resist the pizza as it's made in a wood fire oven made in Italy so it's just so authentic. Even some of the servers speak Italian! Legit!
google avatar

Yelp
I haven't been to this location in YRS. I was pleasantly surprised to see the change from the last restaurant in this location. I ordered the mushroom pizza with truffle oil. The smell is incredible. The crust was made of what looks like wheat flour. A generous portion of mushrooms were added. The pizza is delish and very creamy tasting. The ceasar salad is delish with a generous portion of dressing. A creamy combo fit for a full body wine. It's a pleasant dining experience. It's a large venue and would be fun with a group. Italian music playing in the background. Many wait staff don't speak English. They were curious to know that I wanted fresh pepper on the pizza. He said, "the pizza already has pepper are you sure you want more?" LOLL Noise from the kitchen and dishwasher waft in the air as it was a slow night. Definitely try it. There is a full menu of Italian food options at Pizzeria Mercado.

Yelp
The Beet Salad is delicious. The pizza Quattro Formaggio was very good. The French Fries are like wet noodles, no crunch and almost raw!!! Crunchy is the only way with fries. I think your prices are steep.

Yelp
I work around Emeryville, CA and was staying over and needed a quick dinner nearby the hotel and office and Pizzeria Mercato had solid reviews and looked good so I gave it shot and it was pretty decent. I was hoping for a thinner crust and more char on the bottom but the meat lovers version (or whatever they called it) was decent and flavorful. I also got a fried calamari starter and that was pretty good as well. Swift table service and water glasses regularly filled made for a good quick dinner with table service. All and all a good meal and I'd go back. Solid meal

Yelp
Quite a surprise hidden gem in my opinion. We came here late on a Monday night after most of the stalls had closed in the public market and decided to grab some pizza. I knew they had some deal in Monday's from being around the market before. Turns out Mondays are Margherita Mondays, $5 off the Margherita pizza. For $13 it was an absolute steal of a deal. PIZZA - really delicious, it probably spends about a minute only in the hot oven and came out steaming hot. The fought had a great chew and nice char at the bottom that added great flavor. The cheese looked like it was going to be just a little but each cheese bite was surprise my very Cheesey GARLIC BREAD - this was free with a Yelp check in and a really nice compliment to everything. Another item that comes from the oven and made with what seemed like the pizza dough. Great chew and garlic flavor with same nice flavor from the charred spots. MEATBALL SANDWICH- another great surprise. I very rarely use the term "light and refreshing" for meatballs or sandwiches and absolutely never for both until now. The bread was, again, baked in the oven out of the dough. Lots of arugula balanced out everything with the meatballs split in half the sandwich was really light! I was very pleasantly surprised with this. Fries were $4 extra and nothing special but still delicious and crispy. Highly recommend this spot and especially if you can come on a Monday for the pizza deal $5 off. For me and my girlfriend the bill was only $37 with tax and we took home half a sandwich and slice of pizza. Hidden gem in plain sight.

Yelp
Was craving some good pizza and this location was nearby. The pizza was very good - with a chewy dough and fresh ingredients. They offer indoor and outdoor seating. Parking lot is across the street. Lots of space and free parking! Service was okay. Dining room has many seating available.

Yelp
Quick get away lunch from Fremont to try and find a good Quattro Formaggi in the Bay Area. It didn't miss, the crust was fluffy and delicious. It was a little limp but still tasted great. The cheese was fresh, melty, and delicious. The Gorgonzola was a little intense but still blended well with all the rest. We got the meatball appetizer which was 3 decent sized meatballs. They were very good and I enjoyed the sweetness to the sauce. Caesar salad was fresh and croutons and tomatoes were solid. Our service was really good and the place is empty at 1 pm on a Monday. The wine bar looks like a good future visit. Beers on tap were pretty limited with two IPAS, a Stella, and a hefe. We will definitely make the drive from Fremont to eat here again. Forgot the chili oil, that was housemade and has a great flavor adding to the meatballs, pizza Wide open, bright, and comfortable restaurant that could probably be a nice get together for a bigger group.

Yelp
This place has great food! They make the pasta right in front you and the pizza is delicious. It was a great flavor and I feel it's authentic. The ambiance is amazing. Very bright and spacious. The decor is beautiful and it really gives you that Italian vibe. I think it's great to go with a big group as well! The bar area is never too crowded. I got the chance to enjoy a nice meal, with a great selection of wine on a Friday evening! This might be my new spot to go when I want drinks and a good meal!!

Yelp
Was in Berkeley on some business and found this spot. Not sure if it ever gets super buys, but we came early afternoon on a Sunday and there was plenty of parking across the street. Was super clean and quiet and greeted immediately when we walked in. Mom ordered the garlic bread, not for me cuz garlic gives me stinky poots, but the small piece I had the bread was good. Caesar salad was legit. Pizza was crack Chicken tender sandwich was fire. All the employees were super friendly. Highly recommend the pizza, but you would be doing yourself wrong if you didn't split that chicken sandwich with someone

Yelp
I know this is a chain but I'm biased because I would come here weekly ever since it opened-- especially when me and my husband don't feel like cooking. We even used to have our wedding planning meetings here or after practicing our wedding dance nearby. It's dog friendly patio as well (a must for us). We've tried a lot of the menu items but always gravitate for the pizzas and calamari fritti of course. Garlic bread and marinara sauce - we tried this because we got a flier in the mail for a free side. Who doesn't love free bread? But I don't know if I would buy it if it wasn't free because I prefer getting the salad and calamari instead. My husband on the other hand thinks it's too dense and too garlicky (I love extra garlic though) Italian Quinoa Salad - this is very nourishing and fresh, a large portion for the half salad. Sometimes we add chicken. Calamari fritti - my favorite appetizer here. I know the portion sizes have gotten smaller over the years but we still enjoy it a lot. I love the light breading and the sauce is mild. Pizzas: -Margherita pizza - solid favorite of ours. We like to come on Mondays for their $5 off Margherita Monday special. -Mushroom pizza - I'm a fan of mushrooms but my husband is not. Safe to say I can eat the whole pie. -Meat Lovers - one of my husband's favorite. It's very good! -Brisket pizza - we also enjoy this one a lot. It's unusual but worth a try Dessert - Tiramisu I sometimes come here by myself to get this since it's the closest tiramisu walking distance from Public market. I can eat the whole thing in one sitting. Drinks My husband usually gets an IPA and I get a Diet Coke always! Service The servers are always attentive and they always recognize us lol. Parking Recommend parking in the lot across the street. There's also street parking and parking behind Public Market - as well as Publjc Market garage parking. We love being regulars here and would love to see more people show some love.

Yelp
Cute lil spot located right at the entrance of Public Market. Bathrooms are clean, and there is also outdoor seating that's dog-friendly! The pizzas are a good enough size for one person to get full off of, or to share between two people for a light meal. They are also thin-crusted so they come out pretty quick. We ordered the special - short rib pizza - and it was came out within 10 mins and was really good. Also have ordered their mushroom pizza to go in the past, and enjoyed it then too. Servers were prompt and polite. Dining areas were clean. Def worth stopping by.

Yelp
I had a great time. Pasta was delicious, pizza was good, and the salads are fresh with, large portions. Food came out in less than 15 minutes. We ordered pizza, mushroom pappardelle, wine, garlic bread, and chicken nuggets and fries. I can't complain. Service, decor, great food in a spacious restaurant with an open kitchen! We will return!

Yelp
Went to the public market for some lunch, the public area was so crowded. So we decided to check out Pizzeria Mercato, the place is spacious! The calamari was pretty good, would order that again! The pizza and pasta were good as well, but the calamari is a must for us. All and all, we had a relaxing lunch.

Yelp
We saw the reviews and said let's give it a try. I'm telling you don't miss out if your Emeryville. The food was great, you can taste freshness. The pizza was soft and the tomato base if I'm wrong correct me but super fresh, you can tell that pride goes into the food they serve. Never been to Napoli but if there is a chance in my life I'm going. The service was great as well. Nice and chill atmosphere. My wife and I enjoyed it all. Will be revisiting soon.

Yelp
This place was a surprise find but so happy to have found it!! Pasta and pizza were both amazing and they have a great happy hour. Service was phenomenal. Will definitely be coming back.

Yelp
I'm surprised this place isn't busier. Had the beet salad, best beet salad I've ever had. It was so well balanced, not too sweet, not too tangy, not too earthy, and just a hint of onion. I would go back just for that salad. Pizza had a great chewy crust. Honestly the beet salad stole the show for both of us. Lovely dining room with view of the kitchen. A bar area if you want to watch the game. Kid friendly. Great, attentive, service. I will be back! Ps I'm still thinking about that salad

Yelp
I came for a Yelp elite event once, and was so excited to come back. The pizzas are very tasty and fluffy, the perfect neopolitan pizza! I love the margherita. Cheese is generous. And the brisket is an interesting alternative. Service was very prompt and friendly. I also like that they have several beer options. It is order at the counter - I like this concept Pizza is my favorite food, so I will definitely be back!

Yelp
We've eaten here often since they opened and I'm surprised I haven't left a review. Today I ordered the Maradona Pizza (meat pizza) and I added basil & broccoli rabe. I really think the broccoli rabe makes such a difference. Yum (sorry no pic) And I split a half Italian Quinoa salad - I really really liked this salad. Pizzas are definitely big enough to share but small enough to order solo. My co-workers usually eat an entire pizza. Also, their meatball sandwich is a go to for another co-worker. Located at the Emeryville Public Market it has a dining room separate from the huge eating area inside the market. Plenty of parking BUT be warned if you park in the pick up spots (15 minutes) there are parking attendants that will give you a ticket if you stay longer.

Yelp
Bad service, don't waste your money or time. The waiter/owner whoever the heck he is is a total JERK! They no longer have papardelle they use a fusilli which is only good for Mac and cheese, then the no good tried to argue I had the fusilil the last time, not a good look. Don't play with me, I gave 0 tip. Miserable troll. Avoid like the plague
