The service was excellent. Very friendly and helpful staff. We ordered a pizza that was supposed to have mozzarella cheese and basil, but they didn't have basil that day. We tried the pizza anyway. It was good, but I think it would have been better with the basil. We got there shortly after they opened, so I knew it wasn't because they ran out. We'll go back and try something else next time. They're only open on the weekends and only have a set amount of pizza dough, which are all the same size. When the dough is out, they're done for the night, so get there early.

I ordered the margarita pizza and caesar salad. Flavor was on point! This is a beautifully local pizza joint. Very small menu, but I feel like that’s a sign of a great place. Only opened two days a week and only while supplies last. It’s a bit unorthodox, but I appreciate it. There’s definitely a place in Knoxville for this kind of authentically local pizza. The staff was super kind and helpful. The cook making the pizza looked joyful while doing his work. A great sign of passion. Ignore the bad reviews that can’t comprehend what a sincerely local place this is. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

I am from Miami ok, not pizza like New York but really good pizza... I been searching for years to find decent pizza that bursts with flavor. And this one kicks all out the park... At least to me it does. From the crust to the cheese to the sauce... I just can't express my love for this pizza place and I would literally cry like a baby if they closed.

The crust is perfectly crispy, the sauce is rich and flavorful, and the toppings are fresh and delicious—exactly what I’ve been missing. It’s rare to find pizza this authentic outside of New York, but Pizzeria Nora nails it. If you're craving a true, top notch pizza pie, this is a 10/10 must-try!

We had the margherita and Dino last Friday and have been dreaming of them ever since. Might be the best pizza sauce in town. The meats on the Dino are unmatched. And that crust is perfection. Definitely worth the wait!

Arguably the best pizza in Knoxville. Not much more I can say. Menu is small, but everything is excellent. They often sell out, so it's always best to get your order in early.

My only regret is not trying this sooner. (Note: This is a pick up only place and is only open on Friday and Saturdays. It was about an hour wait on a Saturday.) We got the Nora Special and Dino. Fresh and delicious ingredients. Honestly, you could eat a pizza to yourself if you are hungry enough. I usually don't eat the crust but it was so well made, I ate every bit of it. Support local business and try this out!

Pizzeria Nora is a delicious and authentic spot for a pie in Knoxville. They serve up some seriously great personal-sized pizzas and tasty sides. Two words: white pie. The Nora Special white pie is absolutely the best white pie in Knoxville, with fresh ricotta cheese and homemade sausage. Try Pizzeria Nora and support a fantastic local business! They stay busy so I suggest placing your order about an hour ahead of when you want to eat.

We went here once, finally! I drove by it, had never heard of it and was like, how long has this been here?! You simply must try Pizzeria Nora, delicioso! Better than a more well-known place not too far from here, just sayin' (although that places other locations are too)!

Nora's was GREAT! We ordered Dino's pizza, Foongee, and 3 cheese. The foongee was perfection!!! Dino's is their version pepperoni and the 3 cheese we asked with a side of pecorino, that was cherry on top for the cheese pizza. The customer service was also great! Super friendly staff. The spot also has plenty of kittens. An adoption place should do a free neutered or spay cat with every 3 pizzas We'd come back! ‍

Just an amazing little pizza place. Not quick, but all of the food is made in house. Pizza is great, and the desserts are fantastic.

Good thing is they are quite certainly the most delicious pizza pie in the Southeast. Bad thing is they are rarely if ever open. It's a bit expensive for the size. For a family of 4 better order 3 pies ( 2 pies if you have a nice desert planned after)

The pizza was delicious. It's totally worth the wait. Just be sure to call ahead and place your order. The wait times are 30 mins to an hour. Can't wait to go back!

I had the Nora special,minus the meat , mind you , a new pizza place opened a block away . I had been there a couple of times. NORAS was finally open enroute home.I finally stopped by , excited to try their pizza , it was goinf to either be a good or not so good local place ! I ordered , pizza ,salad and dessert! OMGOSH! SOOO good ! The pizza ! The crust , the goat cheese ! The caesar ! The Dessert ! FAB U LOUS! SO lucky to have them here ! Thank you , for your attention to detail !!

Small pizzeria that is only opened for dinner. The staff are super friendly! They have special pies for the day but the mister didn't want it so instead we ordered the foongee and margherita. He always prefers to order the plain in any restaurant to judge how good a restaurant is. It's a great idea but I love me some mushroom pies. I was pumped for the mushroom pie but left in disappointment. Maybe it was the type of cheese they used that sucked? Maybe the lack of truffle? Maybe the type of mushroom? No idea. The texture was perfect though. I loved the crust and dough. Surprisingly, I enjoyed the margherita more. It was quite perfect. The flavor was rich. The table time was decent. Portions were individual pies. They also offered me free dessert since I came here for my birthday but their dessert failed that day so that didn't happen. She told me she owed me dessert but I highly doubt she would remember. Overall, this satisfied my pizza craving and that is the most important aspect of eating out. There are additional seats in the back and plenty of parking in front of the pizzeria. Water is self serve in the back as well.

We did takeout and the pizza was barely warm. We did like the crust it had a nice texture and there was a good amount of crunch. I think the pizza was probably ready 20 minutes before we got there. I think the toppings were ok but nothing special. Again I would say the pizza was ok, also a bit smaller than what I recall. I think it's difficult to review a food place in the middle of this covid situation. It's definitely more challenging for the business and I recognize that. We certainly appreciate their efforts and we'll give them another try in the not too distant future. Even though only takeout now at the window the (kitchen) were definitely taking safety precautions which was a plus.

Delicious! Quality, fresh ingredients and delicious crust. Pretty much a takeout joint, may want to order ahead rather than walk in if you're on a timeline.

Best pizza in Knoxville hands down. David a great guy and knows how to make a great pizza. Being from Chicagoland area and trying to find a good pizza has been hard. Well the wait is over. Highly highly recommend!!

Okay, so I drove up and placed my order at the window, a Margarita and a Dino, and the person who took my order said 12 minutes until it was ready. 12 minutes? Really? So I just sat in the parking lot and and talked to my wife and 12 minutes later I was getting waved over to grab my order. It smelled so good in the car that we barely made it home without jumping on it. Started eating it and I almost finished my whole pizza. Had to fight against the last piece. I put it up to my mouth and my arm was shaking, trying to struggle against it. I had to yell for my wife to slap the piece out of my hand. Thank goodness she did. I was an inch from being so full I wasn't going to be able to get out of my seat. Anyway, five stars. The owner was also super nice and super proud of his business! Will definitely go back.

Great pizza. Never open. Literally the last FIVE times that I've called to order pickup they've been closed. This has been over the past three months or so. I'm greeted with a message explaining that they're closed through the 14th or closed this week, or in this case closed the entire month. I understand vacations, and the need for time off, but it's getting to the point where I'm no longer going to consider them as an option because my expectations are low. I hope y'all hire some reliable staff to cover these outages soon.

Dave knows his pizza! I highly recommend you give his pizza a try. We had the Nora Special. The homemade sausage was wonderful. The house salad was tasty with the addition orange segments and feta cheese. If you leave room for dessert, their panna cotta is worth the splurge. It's delicious!

I ordered the Dino. She's tip top! I came here after work with the boys I work with. We got here right as they opened up shop. We put our orders in and it was a half hour wait. The guy taking our order told us about the brewery across the street (ELSTWHERE) while we waited. Had a couple beers went to head back over to get the pies and he was walking over with them when we came out of the brewery. You don't just get service like everywhere! If you're in Knoxville and looking for the bomb ass pies.... PIZZERIA NORA! Don't phuck around!

If I could give it more stars or call you directly I would! Looking for good pizza that doesn't cost ridiculously prices. This place can raise their price and we will be back and keep coming back. The gentleman that owns and runs this place has it all together and could teach others how to do pizza right. To know!..... doesn't open until 5:30. We went across to Elst brewery for a great beer. I called Pizzeria Nora at 5pm, they answered and took my order which would be made at 5:30, ready at 5:50. It was ready on time for pick up (not sure if they have done in) and my husband so enjoyed talking with the owner. He closes early sometimes because he runs out of pizza dough. He hand makes it daily, said he can only make so much. When he runs out, he runs out. House cured meats. My daughter only eats pepperoni, the house cured salami she loved. In house made sausage. Beyond delicious. The marinara....my hubby super picky. Is still talking about the sauce a day later. What about me? Best, best, best scratch made Caesar dressing I've ever had. And I'm talking better than $40 tableside made Caesar dressing Caesar salad I've had at not mentioning 5 star restaurant name. Yes, they even have house made croutons. So, we are new to the area. If pizza is on our plate it will be from Pizzeria Noras. We're not looking elsewhere anymore!! Go, enjoy, you've found the right place, a true gem!

Great pizza with super homemade Italian sausage. Did not expect this place to be this fantastic. It has a nice small dining room and Dave and Emma are very personable. My wife loved the pizza and the desert was perfect so we took another desert to go! The restaurant is very clean. Go and eat or take out. We'll be going back!!

This is really excellent gourmet pizza, not what you'd expect to find in a little hole in the wall on North North Central. They've kept the menu simple - just 5 kinds of pizza, 3 with red sauce and 2 with white, and one salad and one dessert (neither of which should be missed). Together with Italian and gourmet sodas it adds up to a dining experience like you'd expect in a fancy downtown joint. The service was excellent and the owner and staff made us feel welcome and valued as customers. My only suggestion to them would be to put in an ice machine next to the drinks cooler. That and a bigger sign outside because everyone should know about Pizzaria Nora!

The pizza is excellent. Don't go expecting to have a coke. Their drink selection is more sparkling water. Their menu is their menu don't go expecting to special or left or just get a cheese pizza. The crust is fab but it's not ideal if you have picky kids or any picky people in your party and while it's best eating immediately the tables and inside are no frills but the owner is friendly and talkative and you don't mind if they are busy and have to wait for a pizza bc the pay off is delicious high quality pizza. Parking is limited but don't be afraid to park in the street and walk in.

Best. 'za. ever. I have lived in NYC, Chicago & Philly and NEVER had better, never ever. I MADE pizza in college, at Sons of Italy on Lumpkin st. in Athens, Ga. Pizzaria Nora is awesome! Homemade sausage AND cheese! But the CRUST, THE CRUST! is the best! Light and airy, like angel's breath. Be on the lookout for occasional funky specials too! We're lucky to have this place. Simply the best.

I absolutely love and adore Pizzeria Nora. The pizza and salads are delicious, and the staff is nice and conversational! The seating area can seem small but accommodated our group of 7 when we moved some tables together (and replaced them to their original spots upon leaving!).

We have been coming to Pizzeria Nora since it opened, after the closing of the sandwich shop (which by the way, I'm a bit sad). It is by far the best pizza in town! The Dino is fabulous, crisp crust, simple ingredients! The salad is fresh, light and a bit citrusy. The panna cotta is to die for! Those cherries and pistachio are delightful! We usually go once a week, sometimes my husband picks up one and brings it home, always with the dessert! If you haven't tried it you must. Extremely noteworthy! Excellent Pizza Pies!!!

The meek will inherit the Earth, but they're missing out on some incredible pizza. Owner David says about 2 cars a week pull up, survey the scruffy area, and drive away. Their loss! This may well be the best pizza in Knoxville. Absolute crust perfection. Drove up Monday 5:30 not knowing they weren't open; chef/owner David was inside making dough for the following day. I came back. So good! Had a wonderful salad (organic greens, olives, orange slices, feta and balsamic vinaigrette) and the Dino pizza (red sauce, homemade sausage). Both were great. Pizza places never have good desserts. But this guy has the perfect dessert for pizza. An Italian custard with pistachios and wild Italian cherries, spellbindingly tasty. The place is clean and minimalist. You gotta byob if you want alcohol. It's a little out of the way. But there is a reason the place gets great reviews. Make the trip. Inherit the pizza.

Best pizza in Knoxville and among the best pizzas I've ever eaten! It's fun to watch owner David toss the dough in the air and stretch it. He makes everything from scratch--even the house-made sausage. Establishment feels like a locally-celebrated, hole-in-the-wall-like joint. I believe Nora is he owner's wife--I may have misheard him. Seriously, this guy makes better pizzas than any I've tasted in NYC, Chicago or San Francisco. What a gem in our Scruffy City!!

The best pizza that you can get anywhere. I've lived in Chicago, and visited pizzerias in New York; on Staten Island, in Manhattan, and in Brooklyn. You won't get any better there than this place. I suggest take out, as the dining area is tiny, and not much atmosphere. But the pizza, salads, and dessert are out of this world.

The best pizza in Knoxville bar none! This may not be the fanciest place in town but do not let that deter you if you love pizza. The crust is absolutely incredible, done to perfection each and every time. The menu is simple but has something for every pizza lover from red pies to white. The desert is well...you need to try to believe but do NOT miss this treat! The service is incredible with a very courteous staff and owner who is great person and also a perfectionist. If you like pizza you must try. Use your GPS and find this place!
