Omaggio’s Pizza is hands down one of the best spots in Charlotte! The food is absolutely outstanding!!! Every bite feels like you’ve been transported straight to Italy.. Highly recommend! 🇮🇹🍕

First time at Omaggio’s. We had delicious Burrata and pizza Calbreze. Ended up with a delicious caramel coffee tart. Definitely recommend if you are in the Charlotte area. Excellent food and service. Graci!

Cute small pizzeria with outside dining available. The pizza was really good with quality ingredients. I just wish the atmosphere was a little more laid back. Staff were nice enough but not very talkative. I wouldn't recommend this place for small children or large parties. More of a quiet setting.

We went to celebrate kids bday. Food was pretty good overall although a bit overpriced. Service was nice and quick. But they literally had two or three other customers. It wasn’t busy at all. I doubt i would be back though

Pizzeria Omaggio delivers on fresh, homemade ingredients, and you can absolutely taste the difference! The pizza was fantastic—thin-sliced, perfectly cooked, and full of flavor from their stone pizza oven. The only downside was the wait time; it took about 30 minutes for my pizza to be made. While the quality was worth it, I’ll definitely order ahead next time to avoid the wait. Overall, a great spot for delicious, authentic pizza!

The service was fantastic, the restaurant was clean and food was delivered quickly, the pizza is a different style than what I typically get, I personally enjoy my pizza cooked longer with some crisp, this has more of a chewy home oven baked style compared to a brick oven wood fire type you may find in some restaurants.

Service great. Overall very good. Problem was the expense. Over 200 bucks for four glasses of wine four individual pizzas and an app Just too much for a pizza place that's not top of the top. Will try one to go and post again

Roman style personal sized pizzas with fresh ingredients, a little char for the undercarriage , and fresh ingredients- sign me up! On the Charlottetown side of the Metropolitan you'll find a rustic interior with pics if food prep in Italian restaurants. In addition to beer and wine food otions range from salads, pasta, and sandwiches to pizza. Today we enjoyed the Classico (cheese) and the Emilia white pizza. I really enjoyed the combination of honey and oil with the ricotta cheese on the Emilia. If you're seeking artisan pizza with a nice beverage or salad in a quiet setting check out Pizzeria Omaggio. Service was friendly and attentive and my glass never went empty.

Diavola Pizza (4/5): Just a pepperoni pizza with classic pizza flavor. The dough had a nice chew to it. Pera Gorgonzola DOP Pizza (2/5): Strong gorgonzola flavor, and the pear texture wasn't for me. RATING SYSTEM 5 - Great (Need to get this again) 4 - Good (Would get this again) 3 - Ok (Might give this another shot) 2 - Not Good (Won't get this again) 1 - Bad (Telling people to avoid this)

As much as I love this place, I keep forgetting to return here. I finally chose this place for our date night...and this time, we sat outside on their patio. For starters, we shared their Eggplant Parmigiana...and for our main dish, we both chose pizza, so we shared "Trio" and "Prosciutto Funghi"...and ended with their Vanilla Gelato. Well, all I can say is OMG...Everything was so Delicioso!! I absolutely love their crispy, thin pie crusts. Can't really think of any other pizzeria in town that can make crispier, thinner pies than here?? I had their "Trio" before and LOVED it, and today, it was every bit as good as I remembered it. The "Prosciutto Funghi" was amazing too! I was really impressed with their gorgeously presented, appetizer-sized Eggplant Parmigiana...and even their super-smooth Vanilla Gelato was so much better than expected! Service was stellar as well. Our waiter was very friendly, courteous and attentive. My husband was just as impressed with this place as I was. Think this is my favorite pizzeria in all of Charlotte! Food was excellent. A true Italian restaurant. The restaurant is a bit small, but they also have an outdoor area. The service was excellent. Everyone helped out on every table.

While visiting Charlotte for a few days with my family, we decided to stop here for dinner because it was close to where we were staying. Delicious pizza and great salad. The ambiance is casual but nice. Excellent service. I highly recommend this restaurant.

This is one of my favorite pizza spots in Charlotte. Some have mentioned the cost, and it is on the pricey side for pizza but the fresh ingredients and top notch service make it worth it for me. My faves are the trio and Amelia.

This place is in an urban setting embedded in a large new complex that is hard to park at but is walkable from the greenway. Notably, the outdoor seating gets good shade at lunchtime. Ordering a salad yielded me a substantial plate with slice pear, candied walnuts, and goat cheese; the dressing was hardly necessary. My margherita was of the extra thin crusted variety. There are no bubbles and not a ton of flavor in a crust like this. Given that the salad was so big, I was at least able to finish the pizza because of its thin crust. Not the best pizza in Charlotte, but a nice place to get together.

Great pizza and a nice atmosphere. I had the pepperoni and added sausage. Ordered it well done. Definitely recommend if you're in the area.

We came to Omaggio for date night and it was delicious! Everything was fairly priced and they had a small outdoor area we enjoyed our food in. We shared the Trio Pizza, Spaghetti 'Nduja e Salasiccia and bruschetta which was a perfect serving for two. The servers were very kind and attentive. We would happily be back!

The quality and flavor blew me away here! This is seriously good pizza and their handmade meatballs were so delicious too! Maybe it's not the biggest space or the cutest location ever, but I would put their food up against any other Italian restaurant in all of Charlotte. Very impressed! Service was just a little slow because of the lunch rush.

The environment is always clean and welcoming. Employees are fast, friendly, and never miss a beat. Pricing is fair and consistent, with no surprise charges. It's my go-to pizza spot now.

I'd actually rate this 3.5. The Caesar salad and tiramisu were very good. The pizza, which I assume they are known for, was just ok. The service was friendly but distracted.

It's physically pizza on a cracker. So thin no real flavor it's food but you need to eat an entire pizza to be full. Sandwich chicken pesto my son said mid. Whatever that means so nothing special in my opinion.

As soon as you walk into this place you feel like you have stumbled upon a hole in the wall in Italy. All the servers were very polite, professional, and Italian! We knew very quick this place was going to be a hit. We ordered the meatballs and ricotta as an appetizer. Very traditional and homemade deliciousness! Wish it came with more. My wife ordered the pasta fagioli soup! We ordered a cheese pizza with basil and the Calabrese pizza. Absolutely mind blowing! Real deal Italian pizza you can't get anywhere else. Everything here was to die for. If you are looking for something as close to Italy it is here! Will be back again and now our go to for Italian! Loved it

I'm from Florida and was on a business trip. I found Pizzeria Omaggio after shopping at Marshalls! The pizza is thin crust, fresh toppings, and delicious! I prefer inside because it's too hot outside for me. I felt very comfortable sitting by myself at the small bar area & watching the pizza maker. I recommend this restaurant! Ambiance: very family friendly to all ages and occasions, don't feel like you need to dress up to come here. Food: authentic menu with a variety of offerings I've never seen or had before. Great menu. Prompt Service. Casual setting. We came on a Wed night before 7PM and didn't have any trouble getting seated inside. Local IPA beer selection is very narrow (one). My bride ordered the Dolce Salato pizza ($17) and it was tasty and the crust perfectly cooked. While she also commented the bacon didn't seem totally cooked and would have been better it was cut up into smaller pieces and spread across the entire pizza. I ordered the Campania ($17) and it was a visually attractive pizza with decent toppings - but it didn't seem real flavorful. Service from Uliya was prompt and pleasant.

WOW! So. So. Good. Drinks, eggplant tower, emilia and cabrese pizza, hazelnut brownie. ALL 10/10! Best place ever.

Food was great! A little pricey but worth it. Service was okay, a little quick for us when some parts of the menu were difficult to understand.

This Italian spot is delicious. I started off with a glass of prosecco to enjoy with the caesar salad that I split with my friend. Next it was a glass of the chianti and the rigatoni bolognese for me and one of the gluten free white pizzas for her. If you are in the area, check it out.

Went back to give their pizza a try. The pizzas come in one size and are about 10". Each one feeds 1-1.5 people. I enjoyed the mushroom pizza and look forward to leftovers tomorrow.

The service here is exceptional! The vibe is urban and classy, it's more elevated than fast casual but very approachable. We sat outside. I chose the pear Gorgonzola dop and my husband had the rigatoni bolognese. I wish we had room for dessert, because the gelato and semifreddo sound amazing. They also have ricotta cake and hazelnut brownies, cannolis, and tiramisu!

Had the Calabrese pizza and it was amazing. My waitress offered up the Nduja adder which gave it a little something extra. The flavor was great. Atmosphere was really good and the waitstaff was great. I'll definitely come back.

At $20 a calzone, I'm not sure how often I will be returning. With that being said, this is the best calzone in the city. Their pizza is good, but their calzones are stellar.

This is single handedly the greatest Italian restaurant to ever exist in the city of Charlotte! The food was absolutely magical! Especially the Spaghetti and pizza! Me and my family always came here for a special event, or if we fancy a good dinner. I even had a date with here at one point! More on that later. We became good friends with the owner of the establishment and he always had a welcoming expression on his face when we walked through the door. I cannot stress this enough. If you have a birthday, recently married, graduated, or any kind of special occasion. You MUST go here to celebrate! Even better when you are on a date. The ambience is soothing, and a great environment to get to know your significant other! The staff are always friendly and welcoming when you set foot into the building, and it has the perfect atmosphere of a 5-star worthy restaurant! Clean tables, no loud obnoxious music, and as an added bonus, if you sit at the bar. You can witness the magic unfold in the kitchen! This place is the perfect example of a 5-Star rating. And it truly deserves even more than 5 stars!

Went in with friends, i got soup and they got salads, and we all got pizza. My soup was bland I had to add salt pepper cheese spices and olive oil multiple times, and we all 3 said pizza was bland I had to add same things yo pizza plus honey for flavor. Aftwr we paid and tipped 20% we stayed to hang for a bit bc we were not done chatting, there was no one waiting for our table and we were not the only people in there (a couple was eating next to us). It was around 9:03 (I guess they close at 9 we didn't know) when the waitress came over and snatched our waters and stormed off. Again we were not the only ones in there. Should have nicely let us know they were closed and this review never would have made it here. The bad food didn't even put a bad taste in my mouth (so to speak) bc I was happy with the experience, until I wasn't. Would never go back and will be telling people

What a wonderful experience. I booked this place for my wife's birthday because she loves gluten-free pizzas and tiramisu. This place did not disappoint. The pizza was out of this world. In spite of the fact that it was gluten-free, the tiramisu was amazing and most of all the service was incredible. The server even gave my wife a birthday card never experienced this before in a restaurant, absolutely recommend and would come back again

We went here for dinner at 8:45 pm. The staff was super friendly. They have a small outdoor patio area. The homemade meatballs appetizer is yummy. We enjoyed their pizza and I loved their expresso martini. Great for date night.

Got their spaghetti pesto, regina margarita, and pistachio semifreddo (as pictured). Highly suggest to try all three, esp the semifreddo. Among the most delicious Italian food I've had (and I've had a lot of great Italian food). Pesto spaghetti was delicious, the pizza melted as soon as it hit mouth, and the I've had nothing like the semifreddo before. Service was quick, and the servers/ owners are super warm and friendly. Ambiance was chill, laid back. Great option for a date night, family spot, or just hanging out with friends. Very well priced for the flavors delivered and quantity of food.

We freaking loved it! We picked up some pizzas to go. It happened to be a Monday night and they have a 25% off food on Mondays. So it was out lucky night! They run a Wednesday special too for half off bottles of wine. We ordered the Regina Margherita and the Marinara (no cheese) so we added some mushrooms on top. Both were hot and fresh with high quality ingredients. So delicious. Truly delicious! The place is small with a few tables right when you walk in. It is located as part of the Metropolitan Center where the Trader Joe's is. There are a couple of parking spaces outside this restaurant on Charlottetown Ave, but if there are none unavailable you always have the Trader Joe's garage.

This was my first time at this place and I was pleasantly surprised. The food we ordered was really good. I had the Rigatoni Boscaiola which was flavorful and the pasta was cooked perfectly. The portion was small, I was expecting a little more. My son enjoyed his Calabrese pizza. We had a Tiramisu for dessert, it was amazing! If you are craving for Italian food, this is a great place.

The food was amazing!! The ambiance is on point! The service is impeccable! First, the homemade meatballs and ricotta are tasty only complaint they are very small maybe add one or two more to such a big plate. The pasta fagioli very flavorful. My father-in-law got the lentil soup and he said was excellent (and he's a hard critic of food) Ordered Classic pizza and a Margherita both were so fresh and flavorful. Wonderful sauce and nice oven crisp. For sure will be going here many more times in the future!

Absolutely fantastic in every way. The food was outstanding. Our table had the bean salad and the bruschetta appetizers. Both fresh and tasty. And we split 4 pizzas and they were all top notch. The place was clean and well-appointed with nice bar, indoor and outdoor seating areas. The service was on point also, attentive but not overbearing. Pasta was amazing! Pizza was undercooked, over sauced and flimsy. Watched everyone else in restaurant picking their pizza up and eating it, not this one. Pasta and salad was great!

This review is based on a recent visit as well as an older visit I just never reviewed. Pizza Omaggio is a yummy authentic Italian pizzeria in the Metropolitan. An area I try to avoid because it's very congested. But it is so worth it to come here. This go round I ordered the vegetariana pizza and it was delicious! I had enough to be full and then 2 slices left for later. Great portions! The service was fast and super friendly. The first time I came here I wanted a pasta dish and the options on the menu weren't exciting me. The older gentleman that works there was so so so kind to literally create a pasta for me that wasn't even on the menu. It was also delicious. I mean that is next level care!!! He genuinely prepared a one off dish for me based off what I said I liked!!!! :) #fivestarservice You legit feel like family here, they take care of you and I love that about this place. Can't wait to go back!

I had ordered from them for an office meeting and was so happily surprised I decided to make the trip personally. This very small, modern Italian restaurant is nestled in the same shopping center as Trader Joes, Marshalls and across the street from Target. Given it was a Friday I decided to arrive on the earlier side and opted for the bar rather than a table that was close to the kitchen door. There seemed to be way more employed bodies in and around the dining room than really seemed necessary which gave it the feel of a full house. That set aside, the food overshadowed this very minor detail. We started with the Arugula salad with mixed pears, caramelized walnuts, crans, goat cheese and house made balsamic dressing - delicious! On the best part, the PIZZA! We went with the classic pepperoni which they called the Diavola Pizza. Thin, with the perfect amount of savory sauce, perfect amount of cheese and the pepperoni was crispy on the edges. I wanted to try something completely different, so we also ordered from their White Pizza section. The Dolce Salato would have been great with the salad however it served as my dessert if you will. The tiramisu was not the best I have had but not the worst either. Washed this all down with a nice glass of red which ended a perfect Friday night. I will definitely be back!

Very nice staff and restaurant. We arrived late and felt like possibly an imposition but owner quickly dispelled our concerns. Service and food were excellent and highly recommend. Have found a place to visit many times in the future.

My wife and I absolutely love this place! We have been here multiple times and always have amazing service, great food and the atmosphere here is nice, u can eat inside or out front. Their pasta is made made fresh and we can taste the difference, we do the Bucatini Amatriciana and we split it. Makes me so happy at the first bite! Real Italian cuisine pizzeria with opportunity to improve on wines serving ! The location is central with good pedestrians access and traffic. It has indoors and patio seating. It can get quite busy at dinner time. Our check in experience was seamless with 10-15 minutes waiting to be seated. The menu is focused on good variety of pizzas and the pizza making process has obvious roots in Italian recipes. Very clean restaurant and extremely clean bathrooms! We had Calabrese , Margherita and Pizza Bianco. Excellent Tiramisu couldn't pass on. We also served white wine, recommend the Vermentino wine. At this point the location lost half a star up to a full star as the wine was not served at the right serving amount and temperature. The amount was obviously under standard and not properly chilled. Overall excellent pizza place, highly recommend! Overall assessment 4.2 stars minus the 0.5 due to wine serving = 3.8stars!

About as Italian as it gets, in a great way! I wandered over to Pizzeria Omaggio which sits in a tidy little retail area near Best Buy. It looks a bit bland to me but I go in anyhow given the great reviews. Seating inside is smallish but there's also a nice sidewalk patio to enjoy your meal with some fresh air. I'm seated at the bar right next to the kitchen so I get to watch all the food get made. As I'm perusing the menu trying to pick a wine for my meal, an older Italian gentleman (I'm assuming the owner) stops by with a smile. He points to his favorite chianti and it sounds good to me! For dinner I do the Calabrese pie with sausage, pepperoni and mozz. Omaggios does a wonderful thin crust which is light and tender, great stuff. And I finish off with affogato for dessert (gelato, espresso) which is also the owner's recommendation. Overall I was really impressed with the authenticity of Pizzeria Omaggio. It's about as Italian a restaurant I've been to in North Carolina and I used to live up north. Great food, great service with the little Italian touches make for a great dining experience. I'll try to get back, the next time I'm in the Queen City!

This place is so good, I measure all the other pizza places I've tried in the past two or three months against it. They have a nice list of available recommendations for you to choose from, or you can make your your. They also offer seasonal pies. Typically, I get mine to go and just inhale it on the drive home, since I can't have the pizza there all lonely for 20 minutes. But dining in is a pleasure. The staff is consistently friendly and chatty, never making you feel like you are bothering them and will kindly give suggestions if you are hesitant. They're even friendly when placing an order over the phone, which is a rarity. Thin crust pizza was never a favorite until I tried this. Definitely one of the best pizzas in town.
