We came to this pizzeria after watching an Anthony Bourdain episode. They're located away from the center, closer to the Garibaldi station. We went at night on our first evening in the city, so we took a cab from our hotel near the Piazza Municipio (~8€) since we weren't yet familiar with their public transportation.
Our first impression was definitely not a good one as the staff was unfriendly and pretty rude actually, not just to foreigners but also to Italians. The staff didn't even try to speak a bit of English but also wouldn't even work with us when we tried speaking our broken and limited Italian.
The pizza was ok, not deserving of any high accolades and definitely not deserving of a segment on a TV show episode.
We ordered two pizzas. First we started with the margherita which was ok but the cheese looked like it was almost liquified and bubbling when it arrived at our table. Although the pizzas are pretty large, we still had some room for more food so we decided to go with the buffalina, which is a margherita but with buffalo mozzarella. This second pizza was definitely better, the cheese had more consistency and was more flavorful but we couldn't finish it all, we were stuffed after eating half of it. It seems the add Parmesan cheese to their pizzas as a base which definitely changed the flavors and they were not as good as other pizzas we had elsewhere.
Although not outrageously expensive (24€ for two huge pizzas, one beer and a water), this place wasn't worth the cab ride over nor the money. There are better pizzerias in Napoli where you can get a really good pizza for a fraction of the cost and much better service.
