"Pizzette is a casual pizza-sandwich hybrid restaurant by chef Nancy Silverton, located within Citizen Public Market. It features top-down stuffed sandwiches inspired by Israeli sabich, small, individually-portioned pizzas finished in a wood-fired oven, salads, and wine. However, current seating does not allow for watching the oven action." - Farley Elliott

Aloha.🌺💕 I've been wanting to eat at Nancy Silverton's restaurants for awhile after watching her on Netflix's Chef's Table. I was in LA for the weekend, and her Melrose area restaurants were fully booked.😟 But atlas, she has a newer one in Culver City- Pizzette in the back of Citizen Public Market. (No Pizzette signs out front.) Nancy is the mother of artistic breads in California and I would say USA. She has perfect palette and is a perfectionist. What an amazing chef. After ordering inside, staff will notify you via text when order is ready.☺️ Her pizza crusts are light, and wonderful. 🥘🍕Pizzettes are small personal size and very flavorful. Stuffed pizzettes are not hot and are more like sandwiches.🥪🥪 I liked the Arugula Freekah Insalate better than the Chopped Insalate (bitter greens).🥗🥙🥗 The Nancy's Fancy gelato is so rich and delicious 🤤. Really cute and sweet presentation, a small jar of gelato & spoon in a tiny brown paper bag. 😋 🤤 There is a lot of outside seating with umbrellas and indoor seating. The public sidewalk is walled off from seating area. Caution, sit at tables away from wall, I smelled some unpleasant odors near there.😮 Though I could eat in Melrose restaurants, I was very impressed with the food at Pizzette.💕🌺❤️🥰

One expensive ($11 for a handheld small) pizza was so extraordinary that I went back for it two days later: the MEYER LEMON fried parsley, fried capers and fried parsley. We also added a Mortadella with whipped ricotta "flowers", garlic and oregano ($11) and it was forgettable. But no food is worth the unfriendly attitude of the staff and we will never go back. Other places in the Citizen's Market have terrific food and hospitality.

Downtown Culver City has a ton of pizza spots within a small radius, but Pizzette's unique take on it makes it worth visiting. Thoroughly enjoyed my margherita pizzette straight from the brick oven (the fluffy, crusty dough is on point). No shortage of outdoor & indoor seating here too.

Nancy never disappoints! Flavor & texture always on point. I just wish we can stay & eat at the counter as they prepare the pizzette & place in the wood fired oven.

Wow! Pizette is a rare find! I take my food seriously, and regional Italian food is no different. It’s a challenge to find a spot in Los Angeles that not only believes in the value of high quality ingredients but can put those pieces together into an amazing dish. It’s clear that Pizette is not cheap. If you are looking for a cheap pizza or low cost Italian food, this is not your spot. However, I’m willing to pay a slightly higher cost when the outcome is as solid as the food here. From the stuffed pizza/trapizino style roasted eggplant to the prosciutto and burrata, and the magnificent Bianca pizza we loved every bite we shared at Pizette. Well done Nancy Silverton, we see you and our bellies appreciate you!

Trendy new pizzeria in the new market that just opened in Culver City. Food was good. Pizzas are personal size. Staff text you when your food is ready for pickup so you can wait outdoors.

pizzette is one of the restaurants inside the citizen public market. we ordered funghi misti pizza and tricolore salad. the pizza was a little bland; it could use a little more saltiness or some flavor. the salad, though fresh and crisp, was nothing special. i suggest adding proscuitto to it to make it a really good salad and maybe have the restaurant toss the dressing for an even coat of the vinaigrette.

this is the best pizza in the culver city area, by far. yes it’s on the pricey side but it’s worth it. quality, fresh ingredients, flavorful, flaky crust. any bad reviews of this place are from cheap people with no taste.
