What a cute little coffee place! We ordered iced coffee and a pastry and sat at a corner table where we could look out the window and watch the water fountain. The staff was all very kind and they also had a lovely honorary table set up for the previous Memorial Day weekend. It's the kind of place you'd go on a Saturday morning just to relax and enjoy the quiet. And that's exactly what we did!

Google
A delicious way to start the day! My wife and I got breakfast sandwiches and a king cake latte. Both were well made and quite delicious. I couldn’t resist trying a piece of king cake as well! The staff were attentive and helpful making sure we had everything exactly the way we wanted it. Highly recommend!

The sole employee working was the most ambitious and hard working young lady I’ve witnessed. She never stopped and greeted each customer with respect and a smile. She should get a raise!!!

One of the refreshing coffees ever Ambience - Everywhere is coffee and nicely decorated place with comfort seating. Service - we tried dine in and drive through, both provided great service. Very professional and service oriented. Very patient in taking orders and in suggesting for newbies. Taste - Ordered cappuccino and macchiato with double shot espresso. Really refreshing , makes you to start new day again whenever you’ve it. Really loved it.

Google
I dont like their coffee which is the most important thing. It's a delightful atmosphere because it's Bay St. Louis and outdoor seating. Food is fine in a pinch. Service is fine.

Google
was annoyed this visit when the price increased a lot, but turns out the size did too. The medium was about the size of a large, which I didn't want! Would've ordered the small, had I known. The spinach croissant is very good, also

Went there with some out of town guest and was totally embarrassed by the entire experience. First, we went inside to take a rest from walking, and get something cold to drink. When ordering, I had to repeat the clearly articulated oder three times, because the "girl" taking our order wasn't paying attention. Then, when see placed our poorly made (didn't taste good at all) order on the counter, because there was only on straw in the straw container, and we ordered three drinks, I asked her if she would please get me two more straws. Her response was to point in the direction of another part of the establishment... without saying a word. So I asked again, only to have her point again... so I went searching for a straw, which I eventually found in the middle of the store. After drinking our beverages, we all needed to use the restroom facilities. That's when we discovered we were required to ask for a key from the very person that refused to speak to me when I politely asked for the straws. Being in our 60's, we hadn't experienced locked restrooms since visiting cheap gas stations back in the 1970's. So that in itself was rather bizarre to say the least. Then, we discovered the restroom was dirty, and had obviously not been cleaned for some time. There were dried urine looking substances all along the toilet seat, as well as layers of dust throughout (especially on top of the paper towel holder), and a nasty, dirty, plunger left under the sink. Like I mentioned before, I was embarrassed for subjecting my good friends from out of town to this horrible experience. The only redeeming part of our visit, was that we were able to wash the horrible taste of that experience out of our mouths by visiting most of the other stores in the area. The other establishments had some of the nicest people anyonewouldbe happy to have met, and spent lots of money at their establishments. One more thing that was uncomfortable was the fact that this establishment, that locks the filthy restroom door, was allowing a non-service large dog, that were blocking the walkway inside the store, to roam around the store and randomly sniff customers... how bizarre is that... the dog was more welcomed than paying customers. We will never go back to any PJ'S every again after experiencing such horrific service, and certainly would warn any unsuspecting potential customers to stay away. But please, do yourself a tremendous favor, and visit all the other fine, friendly, welcoming establishments in the lovely tiwn of Bay St. Louis Mississippi!

Google
I’ve ordered the same exact drink multiple times (same size) and the price is never consistent. One day it’s $5, the next it’s over $9. I checked the receipt and saw I was charged an extra $1 just for the cup, which should absolutely be included in the price. On top of that, the staff is consistently rude and the coffee tastes terrible. Definitely not worth the cost. I won’t be coming back.

Yelp
I have visited this location many times and have always had a very positive experience. They have a lovely space both inside and out with many cozy nooks to enjoy their delicious coffee selection and their tasty treats. There is ample parking nearby. The staff members are kind and helpful. If you go during mardi grad season, I highly recommend getting their king cake latte. It is really tasty! They also have slices of king cake you can try and they're more than happy to heat the cake up for you so it's extra delicious. Definitely check out PJ's!

Yelp
Ordered two cappuccinos on the 'dry side' in the drive-thru line. Not only was coffee rather bitter, apparently they don't understand the meaning of 'dry side' as it applies to the coffee vs foam. Went arond the corner to Mocking Bird Cafe and got a proper delicious cappuccino and on the 'dry side' as requested.

Yelp
Great staff, my dog, my wife and I visit regularly. This morning the staff at an hour nothing was open and they were busy helped my wife help a stranded motorists get to a place he could get help. There may be many PJ's but the one in BSL, because of its staff, is the best. They are awesome.

Yelp
It is a PJs like many I have been to before. This is the first one I have visited outside of Louisiana and my first one in BSL. Overall this location inside a former home is very cool inside. They also have a nice patio they share with a location of Creole Creamery.

Yelp
First visit for my husband and I to PJ'S and it had decent drinks, but we've had better before. It is nice that they have a drive through and a wide variety of drinks. The employee was very friendly and our drinks were ready in a reasonable amount of time. My husband got a butter rum frozen drink and I got a peppermint velvet ice. Both were presented beautifully. We did both think that our drinks were too sweet and that they would have been better if they had more ice blended in because they were thin. We would visit again and try different drinks just to give them a fair shot. Rating from F to A +++ I give it a B+.

Jason M.

Yelp
Good coffee and drinks but this place seriously needs to hire more people or just have more workers in general during the day; especially during the busy season. Completely ruins the vibe of this place waiting 30 minutes for 2 drinks.

Haylee B.

Yelp
We came to this coffee shop every single morning on our vacation, we look forward to it every year!

Yelp
Tried the BSL PJ'S for the 1st time yesterday. The only reason for 4 stars is the entire drive thru experience. Granted, we're of a certain age, but the entrance was hard to find, we totally missed the speaker, however, the young lady at the window was just terrific! Giggled with us over the whole thing & then took the time to figure out what kind of coffee I wanted LOL The coffee was delicious & I'm educated on PJ'S dark roast coffee She even asked if I wanted "hot" coffee. DUH! What a new world *giggle*

Yelp
OMG!! You have to visit this quaint coffee and sandwich bar when you visit Bay St. Louis! Excellent food and great service. I had an order of beignets and they were delicious! Others had breakfast sandwiches that were equally delicious. The servers made you feel at home and treated us like valued customers. I am glad we stoped there for their awesome coffee and wonderful atmosphere. It is a really cool place to hang out for a little. You can even bring your computer for a work while having a snack and drink!! You have to stop!!

Yelp
Once again, great coffee and great service with a smile. I always get the same thing, Iced Mocha with one pump simple syrup. It's consistently good and I appreciate that.
google avatar

Yelp
Coffee that has depth of flavor, clean little cafe, friendly employees, very clean restrooms. I recommend this for a little pick me up while sightseeing in the area. My friend and I found this to be a charming little spot in the heart of Bay St Louis, Mississippi.

Yelp
PJs is awesome. If you find yourself on the gulf coast and are in need of iced coffee, you options are limited. There are several good options, but you have to go inside and wait in line. Not here you don't. I know what you're thinking. Why don't you want to walk inside and wait in line? Most of the time I don't mind at all. But sometimes I wake up, realize I don't have cold brew, and roll out to find coffee quickly. No one needs to be seeing me when I first wake up so the drive thru is where it's at. I mean, I get it that the barista can see me. But I'm pretty sure they don't judge. At least I'm in a high vehicle and they can only see my hair all jacked up and my eyes half closed. Some people visit in golf carts. Then you can see all that and their cat pajamas. But I digress. PJs iced coffee is the best in the business. It has an almost chocolatey taste and is as smooth as coffee can be. Service has always been prompt and friendly and prices are reasonable. My one suggestion is to order your coffee with light ice. Their large is the size of a medium (16 ounces I think) and with a lot of ice you barely get any caffeine. You could always go for an extra large, but that may be too much caffeine in the afternoon. Anywho, get yourself to PJs.

Yelp
This is a seriously cute town, with a seriously cute PJ's. Its a cool old buiding, with lots of windows for daydreaming, and admiring the other buildings around the block. I liked the single origin coffee, and I didn't have high expectations, since they are often a let down in the chain shops.
google avatar

Yelp
Stopped by on vacation because of other reviews on the beignet, but was a little disappointed. Came in an order off four and was mostly good but one has a raw doughy spot. The scone was excellent as well as the hot chocolate. Great atmosphere and would visit again, but not for the beignet

Yelp
This is my favorite PJ's. Its located on Main St. in historic Bay St. Louis. They renovated an old house and share a wonderful outdoor patio area with Creole Creamistry next door. The atmosphere is fantastic. The landscaping is nice and they have an area out front where you can sit next to a fountain and watch the people and traffic on Main St. while enjoying your coffee. Oh... and the coffee and pastries are what you'd expect from a PJ's... I love the iced mocha and the chocolate chip cookies. BOTTOM LINE: The best PJs... in the world!

Angela S.

Yelp
Good coffee. Very busy! Cheerful inside decor. We like to check out the local shops but it's always good to know PJ's is a chain we can count on!
google avatar

Randi W.

Yelp
We visit from Chicago IL and we make sure to stop at PJ's every time we're in the area!! Drinks are great, food is great, the staff are always friendly and helpful! Love

Rachel T.

Yelp
Terrible service. Slow, bad attitude. Can't even say it's a good cup of coffee. I live in New Orleans and know PJs is better than this.

Dori H.

Yelp
Bathroom was super dirty. Had to get a key to access. Then there was no toilet paper. Then there was no paper towels or hand dryer. Super bizarre for how nice the store is and how slow/ not busy they were.

Yelp
Stumbled onto the PJ's Coffee Shop on Main St. In Old Bay St. Louis Mississippi. Very comfortable with indoor and outdoor seating. The Coffee drinks were great. They also offer Sammie's and pastries. Very clean with nice restrooms. Parking on the side. Friendly Staff. Right next to the Creole Creamery Ice Cream Shop. These two are don't miss places!

Rachael R.

Yelp
Typical. The best part of this place is the yard. If you have kids who need to work off some energy on a nice day, here's a good place. Other than that, meh. Have a cup of coffee while you watch them.

M P.

Yelp
I have gone to many coffee shops, including many PJs around multiple states. I have been disappointed time and time again at this location. This week I have visited this location multiple times and have had bad experiences each time. First, I waited in the drive-thru line for over 30 minutes and received an order that did not have the correct flavor I had requested; but since I waited so long I gave up on trying to get this corrected. The second time I went I asked for iced coffee and got the wrong order once again. I had a family member go another time who received coffee that had an extremely burnt taste, but the final straw was a family member receiving an order in the wrong size cup with the cup only being HALF full. If you're looking to spend money on a good cup of joe I would recommend going elsewhere.

Yelp
A nice stop on our walk around Old Bay St. Louis. The staff was very helpful, the space was very clean and it felt good to be inside a chill environment to relax. This is closest to a Starbucks style chain and seems to have all the equivalents. Moderately priced. We bought a large cold brew with extra whipped cream on top to jolt us awake for the rest of the afternoon. I can't stand cold brew normally but this one wasn't nearly as acidic or bitter as what I've tasted lately and I was pleasantly surprised. All of the girls working were very friendly and relaxed.
google avatar

Yelp
So we ALWAYS come here before work and the last few visits have been terrible...orders completely wrong...long wait for the wrong items...but then we see the tiltoks your girls are posting while they could be concentrating...this order alone i ordered a veggie frittata and she wrang up spinach crossiant...i was IN the store ordering by the time we finally receieved our order it was too late to change it. Late for work..25 min inside while everyone AFTER us left. Get the shifts together

Luke C.

Yelp
Great food sure but they don't care about the people inside what a shame! Should balance the drive through and the customers inside. Would recommend staying in your car at that point. DO BETTER!!
google avatar

Robert S.

Yelp
I just left PJ and I thought I'd try their breakfast sandwich... bacon, egg and cheese. Do not waste your money... they make good coffee but they need to get out of the breakfast business. The biscuit was gummy, it had one tiny piece of soggy bacon and you'd need a magnifying glass to find egg. Oh and the biscuit was in pieces. DON'T BE FOOLED BY THE PICTURE!

Yelp
Not worth it, and would rate 0 stars if possible. Been a customer of PJ's for about a year and my experience before December 2019 was amazing. Since then while placing an order I constantly get asked AT LEAST 4 times what my order is. I usually order a Medium Iced Chai Tea Latte and thats not hard to remember. Fast forward to pulling up to the window, yet again I get asked what my order was and then I get handed the wrong drink/food item every time. I have found out that all original staff has been let go as of December 2019 and new staff has been hired. I would not recommend.

Meaux L.

Yelp
Went to PJ's after the Seahorse parade. They were out of my favorite but suggested one very close to what I wanted. When we paid the server said we don't have any coin change! We found that to be odd. We were surprised with the group of people blocking the ramp to the parking lot as we were leaving.

Pierce H.

Yelp
Stopped in Bay St Louis overnight on a long road trip. In the morning, had delicious coffee and breakfast sandwiches from PJ's on the way out

Justin S.

Yelp
Very clean, well stocked, friendly and reasonably priced. Very fresh pastries and other breakfast items. Lots of friendly smiles early in the morning!!!!

Shari M.

Yelp
Horrible service. Went inside and stood at the order location close to five minutes with zero acknowledgement of my existence. Finally had to say, "can I at least get acknowledged?" Woman who was at the drive they window - guess those are the only customers they cared about - came over and apologized. Said they did not have XL. There were plenty of kids behind the counter who said nothing. After I ordered, a girl comes up asking if I had been helped yet. Ridiculous. I hated to give them my money. Seriously, do not waste your time if you want to go inside. Just drive through. I was so angry, I left without staying outside. Oh, and they made sure to charge me full price. Not that I expected a freebie, but a free shot (I ordered an extra shot as two shots is pretty pithy to me) would have acknowledged this was out of the norm. If anyone wants to open a Starbucks in the area, go for it. Customer Service matters.

Yelp
Love having a PJs in town!!! Their coffee is amazing and service is fantastic! The drive through option is so convenient and the atmosphere is great!

Haylee A.

Yelp
Yesterday my siblings and I visited pjs in Bay St Louis, which is normally my favorite. But this time was different. We placed our order which was $17. We received our drinks and bagel and drove off. Until we realized we were not provided with a straw. We then went back to the drive through window and request straws. Fast forward, we are now on highway 90 when I take the first sip of my XL Extra toffee nut iced coffee. Only to realize I literally took a sip of coffee and milk. No flavor what so ever. Not sure what has changed, but there was no way we were turning around again. I can see if maybe the lady did not hear 'extra toffee nut' but there was absolutely none what so ever. My brothers hot coffee which he also requested sugar in his was only straight coffee. Very disappointed as they are usually my favorite.

Ashley M.

Yelp
This is a great PJs coffee shop that just opened in BSL! It was easy to park in the lot and there are plenty of outlets and places to sit. We will be back.

Donna F.

Yelp
My husband & I went into PJ's Coffee in Bay St. Louis, Ms. on Sunday March 21st at approximately 3:30pm. My husband ordered a small vainilla velvet ice & I ordered a small caramel velvet ice. Employe were pleasant but appeared a little overwhelmed. We waited a while for our order. I noticed the drive thru was very busy & it seemed they were catering to the drive thru. Also 4 people came in after us & received their orders in a timely manner. When I witnessed this I ask one of the attendants about our order. She then asked me what I ordered. I repeated the order. At this time they began working on our order. My husband was given a medium vanilla velvet ice & I was given a small caramel velvet ice. Our order was incorrect but we didn't say anything & left after standing waiting for over 20 minute. What makes the drive thru & large groups more important than just 2 people. I guess it's all about money.... This is very poor business. I like PJ's but will probably think twice before returning to the one in Bay St. Louis, Ms.

Gracie T.

Yelp
This is definitely my favorite coffee shop in town or whatever little place you wanna call it. The frozen hot chocolate is my favorite, though it's a little pricey. Example, you may order a venti from Starbucks, and it cost 4$, if you order that size here it may be 5$. Depending on what you get. It's very clean, there's nothing dirty about this place. The service here was good, though one time I had a very rude encounter with one of the workers, i understood the point the person was making. I would definitely recommend this. If you do decide to come here, you won't regret!!

Dustin N.

Yelp
Horrible management on a busy morning there's only 2 people working when there's a line down Main Street do not recommend if your trying to get coffee in under 30 mins!

Paige M.

Yelp
Best baristas and best coffee! Every time I go, they never fail to put a smile on my face! Their nitro, granita, and croissants are the best! Way better than Starbucks!

Joey H.

Yelp
I went by the BSL location and got my usual coffee. It was great! Always spot-on! These guys know how to brew good coffee. The staff that I have interacted with are the best on the coast. Last time a young man named Taylor made my coffee. Absolutely the best cup I have received there. I have mixed and matched on the menu as to try out different flavors to see which I liked best. Still trying to decide. Too many good choices to pick between.

Anne T.

Yelp
Disappointing experience. Zero charm, zero friendliness. The wait staff are more like lunch ladies at the local prison. My food did not come out right and when I asked the server what the weird brown part of my sandwich was she told me that she wasn't sure. She gave me a sarcastic 'apology' and turned around and walked away. This place surely isn't in The Hospitality State is it??
