The coffee here is consistently great, but the service is terrible The staff is often hanging out in the back, and it can take 5–10 minutes just to get someone to the counter. Mobile orders are rarely ready on time, which defeats the purpose of ordering ahead

One star due to the awful encounter I had with WHITNEY! Today was “free 16 oz cold brew in app only” this is my first time ever using the app/placing order. I get to PJs at 8:30AM, Whitney comes through the speaker “what can I get for you?” I say “hi good morning, I PLACED AN ORDER ON THE APP FOR TAYLOR” “Whitney-WHATS THE NAME” “TAYLOR” “Whitney-Pull forward” I say “can I please add a cake ball to that order” “Whitney-Pull around” I get to the window, Whitney says where did you order because we don’t have an order here for you. I pull up the app and specifically pull up the order location that shows 1077 and she response with “what was it” I start to explain my order (1 16oz cold brew) and she walked away from me completely while I was still talking to her, couldn’t even get out what type of milk I use. A different younger employee comes forward and says we’re getting it made now, she also wants to verify a few ingredients with me, I told her everything sounded fine but if I could do caramel instead of French vanilla that would be great… -meanwhile WHITNEY is screaming in the background for me to hear her clearly through the drive through “THE ORDER IS SCHEDULED FOR 8:45 THATS WHY IT AINT READY SHE STILL GOT ANOTHER 6 MINS” then proceeds to keep repeating herself at that same loud tone 3-4 more times (entire gallery is full of people inside). The younger employee is trying to talk over her to me through the window so I said loudly “DO NOT WORRY ABOUT CHANGING ANYTHING I DONT WANT TO INCONVENIENCE HER ANYMORE BECAUSE SHE OBVIOUSLY CANNOT HANDLE IT” the sweet younger employee was adamant- it’s okay mam we can do it if you’d like and I refused (yes I did tell the sweet younger employee my tone and choice of words were not at all directed to her) I really hope Whitney reviews THIS review and reflects on her behavior and customer service, I’ve been going to pjs for almost 10 years and I’ve never everrrrr been able to compare it to McDonalds awful service till today. A simple resolution could’ve started from the beginning when you asked me my name for the mobile order and made me aware then that my order wouldn’t be ready for another 6 mins (I was completely unaware I was even early for the pickup because this was literally my first time using the app and I’m never on time) and I would’ve gladly moved along and waited, but raising your voice, attitude, eye rolls and dismissive behavior you showed was absolutely embarrassing for you and you truly don’t deserve to even be associated with PJs! But thanks for my free coffee hope your day isn’t easily inconvenienced again!

I stood for 3 solid minutes waiting for the three ‘12yo’s’ (sarcasm) working behind the counter to help me with an order. The entire time they completely ignored me standing there. No hello. No sorry for the wait. No greeting of the day. No we will be right with you. They just talked amongst themselves about their work business or themselves, and never once even looked at me. After waiting awkwardly I just walked away. These are high school or college girls so no big surprise. The gripe is with management. AT THE VERY LEAST, train train; train— train ……..train your employees to, at bone minimum, greet your customers. I knew this lesson as a 16yo dishwasher. I would be out putting away dishes and glasses and knew even being that young say, “hello” to those in the restaurant/workplace. Assure them that they will be served. It’s culturally accepted also these days to not even say your name as wait staff or wear name tags. Which is crazy! Here’s a new flash, if you don’t have customers you don’t have a paycheck. The business closes and everyone loses. Let’s start with the basics, say hello and treat your customers as if you’re grateful you have a Job and business. Pretending is quite alright.

Of all the PJ'S Coffee places i frequent...this location is always the most unfriendly. The employees there offer no smiles, acknowledgments or interactions. Just not a welcoming atmosphere. The coffee always seem somewhat watered down.

DASHERS and CUSTOMERS beware!! The store is constantly out of items or no longer carries items on their site. I would recommend another Star to spend your Bucks. It's better run, better staffed, and better trained. Not to mention, you'll get what you ordered.

I frequent this place pretty regularly because it’s by my child’s school and on the way to work. The staff is typically really nice and caring. The blonde girl at the window was all smiles and very courteous. There is another girl that works there that I quite enjoy, but I don’t recall what she looks like. The lines move pretty fast too. However, the product can be hit or miss. Granted, I am particular, but I felt I needed to leave a review. There have been multiple times that I’ve ordered a breakfast item that wasn’t cooked all the way. Also, when given specific instructions on how to make a drink a particular way and why, it has still been wrong. When I’m paying $7-8 a drink, I would like to have the experience I was hoping for. I worked for PJs for 6 years at very high volume stores and maybe my expectations are just higher. Please do better. Don’t be afraid to question the quality of the product and ensure the customer is happy with it, but especially when you know they are being particular by ordering in a very specific way!
