PJ's Coffee

After being a loyal PJ’s customer, specifically to this location, for years, today was my last visit. The quality of service and the coffee recipes themselves are just so inconsistent, it has become a disappointing waste of time and money. After receiving nasty drinks completely missing staple ingredients (the flavored cream I paid for, etc) countless times through the drivethrough, I have actually parked, gotten my daughter out, and brought my coffee back in to be remade the past two visits. The first of these times they didn’t even remake the drink, they just added in random ingredients and gave it back to me, and this time they made a new drink which was disgusting and not at all what I ordered. The first photo is the nasty remade drink I was given today, and the second and third photos are what it looks like when made correctly. Honestly so disappointed because as a SAHM, this is the one thing I treat myself to and I can’t even expect my order to be correct. Do better, PJ’s. P.S. your new croissants suck, too.

Very friendly and understanding with food allergies, great location, and the cold brew was spot on.

Second time in the last week getting a iced white chocolate latte and it was not good. Too much milk. The other PJs is better

I waited in line forever. I ordered a caramel granite, with an extra shot of espresso, and extra caramel. Tell me why they gave me my drink and it had chocolate poured all over it. So I give it back, and say this isn't what I ordered. And I asked for my caramel drizzle that goes on a caramel granita. Like, no where did I order freaking chocolate. She comes back to the window, and all they did was pour caramel over the chocolate syrup. Now its just an undrinkable, disgusting mess, and I can't get anybody to answer the phone. I had to go to work. I spent 45 minutes total just in the drive thru. This is insane.

On last week I was having a procedure done. So I stop to get my morning coffee and a bagel. I discovered hair in the bagel. That was absolutely nasty. The manager on duty was super nasty. Once before I found plastic in my coffee cake. What she didn't know is the owners Son work with my Husband at Rusty Pelican. She normally would greet me. It wasn't my fault. I have black hair not blind. They often don't give utensils and I have to circle back and get it. If you know you got customers. Do the right thing. U don't forget this all the time.

Super friendly staff & made drinks very fast. First time trying cake bites. The King Cake were great! PJ's coffee is never bitter like Starbucks! We always visit PJ 's down in the French Quarter in NO. BEST coffee in NO

I like the fact they already know what I like and have my order correct everytime. I'm a frequent customer..

Great customer service and our cold brews were delicious! The coconut milk substitute and gluten free options were absolutely refreshing to see. I also love the frozen lemonade option for my three year old son.

I paid almost 5 dollars for a blueberry muffin and compared to other pjs this muffin had ZERO blueberries small asf, dry and it took about 12 minutes and there was only one other person in line lady at the widow was nice but food quality was terrible do better

I come here a few days a week and also get great service and my coffee and pastries quickly. Love the energy of the place and the baristas that work there!

I was in Covington for work, and Yelped to find a coffee shop after a horrible day, and on my way to the airport. Found PJ's as I always prefer to got to a local place other than dang SBs if possible. It was awesome! It was busy at 5pm, super cute inside. I got a latte and a ham and cheese croissant. Then also grabbed a bag of beans to go (Pralines and cream). Everything was delicious. The staff were young kids who were really nice as well. Go PJs!

I've been to this location several times.... thinking maybe I just show up on their bad days. But, I attempted it again yesterday. ordered the peppermint a medium granita with an extra shot. The granita was tasteless, not sweetened at all. It was SO bad I had to stop and buy some flavored liquid creamer to add to it. I will never waste my time or money again. I will go out of my way to visit the PJs on Hwy. 25 or Turnpike.

PJ's may be a chain, but it's a local chain. This PJ's has a drive thru which makes getting your coffee in the go much more convenient. The inside area is small so if you want to hang out, it may be tough finding a table during peak times. The staff were very friendly and helpful. On this trip I had their iced coffee. It was very good. While I don't like it as much as Mojo's version, it is better than Starbucks. If you need coffee and you're in Covington, I recommend this PJ's.

Simply the best coffee. I love the nitro!! 40 years in our city!! The blueberry muffin is to die for! Windsor court hot coffee was my favorite!!

PJ's (the one in Hammond) was actually the first place where I drank coffee (when I was going to SLU) but now I am often at this one on Hey 21 in Covington. They are a chain but a local chain and they have free WiFi. I believe the WiFi holds true for every location. Also, the coffee and treats are not bad at all. I am a fan of iced coffee and they make good iced coffee. My favorite "bar" pastry is the cranberry oat square, bar, thing. The lemon squares and cake balls are good as well.

Very friendly staff but.....I have been here 3 times in the last two weeks. Do not order the muffins, very disappointing at how over cooked they have been on each occasion. The coffee is OK but you cannot taste the flavoring unless you order extra shots. .

Stopped here on the way to Gulf Shores Alabama for a quick cup of coffee. Right off of the highway and easy to get to. Service was fast and the bathrooms were well kept but nothing to brag about. Employees were nice.

When I walked in the barista was so busy with her friends she fkd up my order 3 times. So when I left because I wasn't going to wait for a 4th time it still wasn't right.

I stopped going to this PJ's because the barista is strange. I don't know her name but she looks like that actor Ellen Page from Juno. Sometimes she's friendly and sometimes she's not. She's very wishy-washy. She's very rude to my wife and that was the main reason we stopped going there. How PJ's manages to keep these types employed baffles me. It has caused them to lose business from me. I also let friends and family know about my experience and warn them not to go there. She must know the owner.

PJ's is my favorite coffeehouse! I truly believe the epitome of the world's best iced mocha is experienced here. This particular location is right off I-12 and easy to find; also housed in a strip shopping center, super convenient for running errands. The service was quick and friendly...just what I like, no need to delay my instant caffeine gratification! The traffic can be heavy during mornings and late afternoons which makes it difficult to get back to the interstate in my opinion.

Good place to get coffee and relax. This location is always clean and quiet if you need to do homework or catch up on paperwork for work. Employees are always helpful and nice

Best Coffee! For nearly 40 years pjs has been the coffee choice for Louisiana. The original Iced Coffee is amazing!! Small Batch roasting makes a difference:))
