PKL Boston

We went for Fathers Day 2024 to surprise my dad. We had the BEST time. Drove just about an hr to get there and was not disappointed at all. Everyone was fun, positive, and helpful. Def somewhere we will go back to especially in the winter!!

I didn’t try any of the food here, but I came to play pickleball for the first time and really enjoyed it! Can’t wait to come back here and play more. The group instructor Matt was great at giving tips and explaining the rules. Not sure about the parking situation though. Update 6/5: just tried the Pig Beach pop up and it was FANTASTIC. Great service (shoutout to Grace for being super sweet and helpful with food suggestions!) and the food itself was phenomenal. I hope they stay for good because I’d definitely go back.

Such a fun place to go with friends! Opted to rent the court closest to the bar, great for getting more drinks and it was more private. The drinks and food were top notch and service was on point! Highly recommend and can’t wait to return.

First things first. The place looks really dope, spacious, yet cozy and clean. I believe they also had a merch there, which I think that's awesome to help branding your bussines. Drinks were good. Only had a few issues. The chicken tenders I ordered were smooshy, drenched in this Carolina Sauce, Luke warm, and I couldn't expect to be crispy because of the sauce bathing but maybe I wasnt wrong. I did see how the tenders looked on TV which actually was where I saw on the TV Show "Phantom Gourmet" so decided to give a try. Nobody also knew what the show was, OR that this place was featured on it. All the staff people I interacted with had no clue about it. Food came out and I waited for about 10 minutes to get utensils. The male Bartender that was serving me at the time never gave me them. A female staff came to the bar area and I had to ask her for them and mentioned I was waiting for that long. She did apologize and get them right away. She was super nice, as my male Bartender was not bad either but that part. Other staff members were on the other side of the bar and didn't even noticed I was without the utensils either. I will give another shot because maybe I just came on a bad day for the kitchen and the Bartender.

We really did not eat here but we did enjoy their signature ale. We were too late in booking courts as we had only time for our daughters volleyball tournament that weekend at the convention center. Colin was the general manager and was so accommodating – knowing that we had missed the opportunity to play pickle ball he was so kind to offer us a space to play corn hole(This was the first time my wife and I had ever played corn hole). We had such a good time and found the game to be very addicting. While enjoying a glass of their signature Shine was an engaging hostess. The atmosphere was so sunny that we were invited to play a quick game of pickle ball with a group of people. We were so happy to be able to play a game before leaving Boston just so we can say we did. Thanks again PKL

Planned a surprise birthday party for my boyfriend here. We had an amazing time, the food was great, the server was top notch (everyone wanted to be her best friend and we didn’t want to leave because of her). Highly suggest the bacon appetizer 🤤 they were packed for reservations so we didn’t get to do cornhole, but had a good time in our section and they even brought out a bottle of champagne with sparklers. Definitely going back. The one small thing- made the reservation so we could be there for the Live music - the music was insanely loud, but that was more on the band than PKL. We asked them to turn it down and they did by a touch but the singers that night were determined to holler blow out eardrums. Loved their music selection and they were even talented but they definitely couldn’t read the room cause everyone was backing away from the speakers.

I’ve only been to PKL once so far, but it was awesome! Great atmosphere with an overall great vibe. What stood out even more was the contact support. I made a mistake while using a gift card so I contacted them via their email address and got quick support with an immediate fix (thanks, Brian!).
