PKs -Penalty Kicks- Colombian & Chilean Food

If you thought coffee was the most delicious Colombian delicacy, you were wrong. PKs is a faithful depiction of Colombian street food. Worried about what to order? Go for the Colombian hot dog. You wont regret. Thinking about a more elaborate dish? The Chilean fries are a delicacy. Thinking in something to go? Take one empanada for the ride home.

I highly recommend visiting PKs! Amazing Chilean and Colombian food, great location in Portland, bathroom available on the Barley Pod premises, friendly service, and all around great experience. I ordered the arroz  con leche (rice pudding) and mazorcada (Colombian corn feast), and both were delicious!! I also found them at PKs_pdx on Instagram, where I learned they were going to have live music today!! The picnic tables even had large umbrellas, so we could enjoy the location rain or shine (which we tested out today when we got both! 😂 Can confirm that it's a great place to eat regardless of the fickle Oregon weather). I am so glad I visited, and I will definitely go back again.

WOW!!!!! Being from Colombia I didn't know if I could expect a Hot dog as good as back home! But man was I proven wrong by PK's!! The Colombia hot dog was definite one of the best things I've had to eat while living in Portland! The sauces and the hot dog and bacon complement each other so well, then to top it all of with the pineapple sauce!!!! A DEFINITE MUST when I'm PDX! My compliments to the PK's team!🤩🤩

Absolutely everything is very delicious. The corn fest is really delicious. It reminds me a lot of my country, Colombia. All your menu is delicious. The empanadas are very delicious. I recommend that you try them all in general. I had an excellent experience. I really appreciate having such a delicious offer of Chile 🇨🇱 and Colombia 🇨🇴 in the city of Portland, Oregon 🇺🇸

Delicious food. I got an empanada and one of the hot dogs (can't remember which, I think the one with more ingredients). The hot dog was very flavorful and a meal in itself, so I saved the empanada for the next day. Re-heated it and it was fantastic, too. The staff were nice and helpful. Plus they serve Nico's ice cream, which is amazing if you haven't tried it.

This place is a must eat. I’m a huge fan of a good hot dog and this place definitely delivers. Not the place to go for a conventional hot dog (though their menu does feature a plain dog for children). I highly highly recommend the Columbian hotdog. The French fries are crispy to the last bite. Oh, and I didn’t even mention the eye candy. 🤯

I stopped by here for a quick bite on my lunch break. The whole menu looks delicious and was reasonably priced. I decided to get a beef empanada. I was pleased with every heavenly bite of what I believe to be the best empanada that I have ever eaten. I would highly recommend this food cart to anyone.

Best Chilean empanadas in PDX! At home, my wife and I make our own and, of course, like any good cook, you praise your own first. But, hands down, these empanadas de pino are fantastic! These are every bit as good as our home-made. 100% Chilean flavor! Viva Chile! 🇨🇱

If you're looking for something new to try, then this is the spot. A twist on the traditional American hotdog that is satisfying from beginning to end was exactly what I needed. That and one of the beef empanadas (delish) and the guava + cheese turnover, and the passion fruit juice. Be brave, try something from PK's that you've never had before, or do like I did and try four. You also don't have to wait long for your food to come out. The outdoor seating was shaded, clean and dog friendly (water bowls are available for your furry friends), perfect for lunch.

Hooray! At last Chilean home tasting with the best flaky pastry and perfectly seasoned meat. PKs delivers what's promised - bets a hamburger anytime. The service was friendly and warm, just as it's expected when selling comfort food to discerning palates. The food truck scene is such a Portland welcoming and friendly quarter. Haven't tried the others, but will do it for sure!

Great addition to the Barley pod!! I've tried about half of the menu now and literally everything I have had is so much better than I expected it to be. And a truly unique cuisine. The Corn Feast is absolutely delicious. I really didn't think I would like it nearly as much as I did.

Amazing Colombian and Chilean food! Had the Colombian hot dog and it was possibly one of the best hot dogs I've ever had in my life. The staff are really nice and very welcoming. The Barley Pod has a great atmosphere.

recently went to the location to try and grab some lunch but sad to find out that they are no longer there. there was a different vendor in the spot.
