Place d’Armes station is in a fantastic location, perfectly positioned between Chinatown and the Old Port — making it a convenient hub for exploring some of Montreal’s most iconic neighborhoods. The station is connected to a few handy spots, including coffee shops and even a Burger King, which makes grabbing a quick bite or warming up with a drink easy.
However, the station’s popularity comes with drawbacks. The high foot traffic, especially in winter, makes it tough for staff to keep things clean. Salt, slush, and grime tend to pile up, and it sometimes feels like the cleaning schedule just can’t keep up with the crowds.
Still, the unbeatable location and attached amenities make Place d’Armes a practical stop, even if it could use a little more attention to maintenance during the colder months
