Nice atmosphere and incredible pasta. I had the special which was the cajun shrimp pasta. The sauce was one of the most delectable I have ever had. It had just the right amour of spice. Reminded me of one of the most excellent vodka sauces I’ve ever had traveling around the world. We also ordered three other pasta dishes including chicken masala and chicken pesto which were very delicious, too. We started with the kale salad - so crisp and fresh and the cesar salad - with a nice garlic touch.

Super fast service! Fresh food! Every dish can have tofu added to it so very vegetarian friendly! Free focaccia with a marinara sauce for the table.

Took our oldest for her birthday dinner in Eugene. Called a few days prior to make a reservation for party of 4 and they were very accommodating. We got there on time and they also opened on time. We were seated immediately. The place is nice, warm and cozy, and we love that it's a small setting but tables are spaced nicely to be able to have conversations without disruptions. Our server Daisy is friendly and kind. She was quick to come around to check on us and refilled our beverages as well. The bar tender made delicious cocktails and a bit too generous on the alcohol... lol. We ordered salads to share... and individual pasta dishes. The kale salad is very delicious. Love the dressing that they used with a touch of sweetness and right amount of flavor. The walnuts are nice and crunchy which complimented the salad nicely. We love love love the Caprese salad. It is my husband's favorite and they did it right with the right amount of balsamic vinegar. We ordered the spaghetti bolognese and added meatballs for the youngest, two of us had the vodka rigatoni and one of us had the special which is a cream based sauce pasta with shrimp and mushroom. Everything.... amazingly flavorful and delicious. Portions are very generous and since we were hungry, we polished everything clean! Sadly, we had no room left for dessert but Placido's, you are now one of our favorite places to eat when we are in Eugene! Can't wait to come back again on our next trip to visit our oldest. Thank you for a great and memorable evening and scrumptious dinner.

We had the best dinners! The server was so friendly. The restaurant small but great atmosphere. We had an amazing Cesar’s salad. My chicken pesto was great. My son’s salmon ravioli great. Must try!!

Absolutely ahhhmazing!!! Tucked in the basement space of a warehouse is Placido’s. As an out of towner, our waiter offered the local cocktails and wines… we had a whiskey sour and a lemon martini. We began our meal with the Caprese salad - super fresh! Great bottle of Pinot noir by Sarver and then a great big bowl of fresh made spaghetti and meat sauce, shrimp scampi, and the vodka ala rigatoni. Great atmosphere, great food!!! Highly recommend 💙

This review is for the handful of times I have been to this restaurant from when they first open to the date of this review. The freshly-made pasta is probably the best feature. My girlfriend orders their Roasted Garlic Gorgonzola Ravioli with added shrimps almost weekly! If you aren't a vegan and enjoy pasta, you will likely enjoy your meals at Placido's Pasta Shop. If you are vegan, you may want to skip this place as their salad isn't worth the money. The ambiance is quaint. They have limited space inside so it feels slightly tight. The outdoor seating is nice with umbrellas for shades. The service range from incompetent to exceptional. The guy who works at the bar counter (Aaron or Eric), handles takeouts, and sometimes fills in as a waiter provides excellent service by listening to customers' requests and figure out solutions. Sorry I forgot his name. Summer, the waitress, does an exceptional job of connecting with customers with her genuine conversations and recommendations. She is friendly but not the fake-friendly type. She cross-sells other products like wines and desserts but isn't pushy. Recently I accompanied my girlfriend for an outdoor meal and wasn't eating a meal or drinking water. Summer brought me a glass of water and said, "I can't have you not have water." Way to go out of the way to please, Summer! The worst service my friends and I received at Placido's was with their manager in fall 2023. A large group of us were there to have a goodbye meal with a friend who was heading back to Columbia. Two of us showed up just before they opened and asked if we could join two outdoor tables together for the whole group to sit together. The tables were a couple of feet apart. The manager, a taller slender guy, perhaps bald or balding, said no to our ask—citing that would prevent cars from moving in and out of their parking spots. My friend and I could not understand how he came to that rational because moving the tables closer didn't reduce the depth of how much space cars had to move in and out. If anything, it would clear more space for a car to backup! Feel free to reference the attached pictures and judge for yourself. When another guys, the one cited above who works the bar counter, came out to take our orders, we again asked to move the tables together. He said he would check with his manager. The manager came out and told us he already said no and went back inside. We asked the waiter if the manager's logic and decision made any sense. We worked through that situation so we could enjoy our goodbye dinner with our friend. That manager was the wrong hire. He had poor customer service skills and lack the competence to work with people to find solutions. Why would anyone hire him to manage people is difficult to comprehend. Imagine working for someone who doesn't listen well and fails to find solutions to challenges. He negatively impacts the morale of the team, drives engagement of team members and customers into the ground, drives away quality team members and customers, and reduces sales to the company. The food quality is decent to good but that manager's hiring decision was poor.

First time here. Sat at the bar, bartender was on point! She was very personable and made some tasty drinks! Food was delicious! Hard to decide what to order. Got smoked salmon spinach fettuccine, so good! Husband ordered spaghetti & meatballs. Trust me, go!

We had a great experience. We ordered The Walrus with Tofu. Noodles are made fresh, tasted light, and were cooked properly. The veggies were both crisp and soft. The tofu was firm and made for a great addition. Also our servers were very kind and made for a great experience!

Yelp
Excellent! We stopped here for dinner on our way back to Portland. Thank god we don't live here, I would gain 500 pounds. We ordered 3 different dishes, all excellent in their own way. I had the vegan pasta, honestly you could not tell there was no egg in the pasta. Vegetables in the pasta cook to perfection. If you are in the mood for Italian, this is a must!'

Yelp
June 29, 2025 Sunday We were on our way home to Portland & were really hungry. I looked up some restaurants and this place had really good reviews. We wanted to give it a try. Walked in, looked around and got stared at but no acknowledgment or anyone greeting me to say hi or smiling to give me a "nice welcome" As I waited no one is saying anything so I asked the girl at the bar with shoulder length wavy blonde hair and tattoo on her right arm "Can I get a menu" hands it to me. I'm looking at the menu for a few minutes. I turn around another girl with brown short hair comes by I ask her do I sit myself? We never been here and already not getting a nice welcoming or acknowledgment. I'm having to ask for a menu and asking if we need to seat ourselves and they aren't even smiling giving the Rbf face. She just says I need to clear the tables first. Blonde hair girl with the tattoos brings us water and doesn't bring it closer to our right side but puts our cup of water down on our left side which is another table next to us. (You think as a server it's just common sense to actually place our cup of water closer to us instead of reaching) Not a big deal but I can tell she doesn't even want to serve us by her actions. I asked the same girl for a ginger beer she gets it and placed it on the other side of the table again. I asked for a straw and said thank you but her back is already turn away so quick. She gets the straw as I watch her she just toss it to the table again not handing it to me or placing next to me or in front of me. This was rude asf! So I said to my bf she just tossed the straw at me and turned her back and walked away. Very snobby! My question is why are you serving with an attitude? Why are you tossing straws? Do you do this to all your customers? Are you racist? I'm thinking she is racist only because I watched three more customers walk in different times that were white walk in and she says hi and smiles at them and acknowledges them and seats them right away or get them a menu. Mind you I had to ask for one. We didn't get this treatment. I bet if I was an old white person you wouldn't be tossing the straw and walking away. After she did this I really wanted to walk out and not eat here. Her attitude was unacceptable! So we waited for our food and I watched it come out and ready to be picked up. I watched the blonde girl with the tattoo whisper to another man/ server to serve us our food because obviously she knows that she has a problem with us. I watched him pick up our plates and serves it to the other customers next to us. He goes back to the blonde girl and ask her and she had to tell him it's our food and to serve it to our table. I already knew she was going to have someone else serve us. This proves she didn't even want to face us. The guy who served us our food was nice regardless if he knew the situation but he kept it professional unlike the blonde girl with the tattoos. There's no reason for us to ever come back here. Food is mediocre. I only took 3 bites of my chicken pesto. The pasta was a bit hard to my liking and it was runny like they didn't take the time to drain the water from boiling and it was bland. It was not seasoned well. My bf ordered the salmon Alfredo. They gave only 2 small salmon his Alfredo was better than mine but it wasn't "bomb" it was still mediocre and runny too. I'm disappointed in the food. Most of all I'm disappointed in the service we received. Blonde hair with the tattoo on her right arm was not nice or welcoming. Did not check on us. She literally toss a straw and walked away. She did not care at all and couldn't even face to serve us our food. when our food came out she told her coworker to bring us our food and he brought it to the wrong table not a big deal but like I said this confirms she was rude and has a problem with us. Not cool definitely not a vibe here.

Yelp
First off we were greeted and sat by a young lady who was very welcoming. Small little place so call and make a reservation. Food was delicious. My wife and I shared a Caesar salad which was plenty for two. Also shared spaghetti bolognese made with homemade pasta which was amazing. We both had glasses of wine my wife a red blend and me a Sangiovese both delicious. The entire staff was very friendly and attentive. Try it you'll like it!

Yelp
After being away from Placido's for too long a time we returned with friends to celebrate a special evening. And indeed it was a very special meal. This fine Italian restaurant only gets better and better. The great variety of excellent pasta dishes make it hard to choose a favorite. The ravioli was divine. The chicken piccata with linguine amazing. The salads fantastic. And the wine list and cocktails first rate. So happy we have rediscovered Placido's

Yelp
Service was great..food . wasn't inpressed add the chicken Alfredo. They didn't overdo it with the chicken. Pretty expensive for what you get.

Yelp
Ohhhhh myyyy gosh!!!! Where to begin?! I absolutely LOVED our visit! It was our first time here and I'm ashamed to find out they've been open for 10 years(?!) I've been missing out! I had the chicken Marsala and my husband had the chicken piccata. Both of which were amazing. Huge servings. We also split a Cesar's salad which was obvious the dressing was made in house. To finish it off we had espresso martinis with tiramisu which was so. Good. Our server was John who was an awesome server! Very attentive and super kind. Gage great recommendations!

Yelp
Absolutely delicious food paired with an unforgettable atmosphere! Don't forget to call ahead and snag a reservation--you won't want to miss out!

Yelp
I wish yelp did half stars, I would give this place 3.5 stars. Starting off we are not locals, if we were I would give this place another shot because the food was delicious! Place is small but cozy, we were sat right away on a Thursday night. Our server did mention they were very busier earlier in the evening. We started with the Caesar salad, it was fresh and perfectly dressed. However at the bottom of the dish, when I was almost done there was a hair on the bowl. I got the shrimp scampi which was so good! But the shrimp were very small, I was expecting large prawns. These looked (not tasted) like shrimp you get in the frozen food section. My son wanted spaghetti and meatballs but they were out, he got bolognese which he enjoyed. Food came out fast which was great as we were super hungry from traveling all day. Espresso martini was just alright. Service was friendly.

Yelp
Very impressive food! Excellent homemade flavors, perfectly blended. Perfect service. We ate outside, it was very nice and relaxed. Quite busy inside, even on a weekday. Highly recommended!

Yelp
We got a last minute reservation to celebrate our UofO grad & his dad since it was Father's Day. We were so glad we did. We ate outside sharing our dishes family style. Everything was delicious! We ordered drinks, 2 salads, 4 main dishes, and 2 cheesecakes to share. There was more than enough for the 5 of us. We got: Salads: Caprese salad & kale superfood Main: special - lobster ravioli in a lemon sauce, vodka sauce, with sausage and rigatoni, chicken marsala, smoked salmon fettuccine Dessert: German chocolate cheesecake, and peanut butter chocolate cheesecake Definitely recommend! Daisy, our server was great. She was friendly and helpful.

Yelp
Been here twice and this is easily one of my favorite meals in Eugene! The vodka rigatoni is so good. I've also ordered margaritas and the placido drop (basically a lemon drop) and both drinks were also delicious! Service has also been excellent each time, definitely recommend. Just be sure to call in for a reservation, seating is limited!

Yelp
In honor of my 400th Yelp Review, I am giving Placido's Pasta Shop 5 stars for having the best pasta! Their pasta is handmade with care and tastes amazing, with wonderful taste, variety & texture. We came in a group. I had the pasta with pork which was good but the vegan pasta entree was the star, being the tastiest. This is the place to splurge on carbs and Placido's is worthy of a visit for any occasion. We came to celebrate our daughter's U of O graduation and our other daughter's engagement which she & our future son in law announced during this meal. The ambiance of both casual and elegant. They have a private parking lot and be sure to make a reservation at this popular spot.

Yelp
I've been here twice now and both times were fantastic. We went for our third anniversary tonight and it was amazing. We made a reservation which you absolutely need to do if you want a table, even on weeknights. They have a private parking lot but it fills up quickly and the spots are very narrow, so carpooling is best. I got the fettuccine alfredo with chicken and it was so so good. The sauce was so creamy and the chicken was juicy. I have a little leftover for tomorrow and I can't wait to have it. This may be the best alfredo I've ever had. My partner had the lasagna and he said it was good, hearty, and the cheese on the edge of the dish was delicious and great to scrape off after finishing the rest of the lasagna. We split the tiramisu for dessert and it satisfied a craving I've had for the past month. It was a good portion size for $9 and was soft and light. The decor is soft and the ambiance is very calm, despite it being loud at times since it's small and can be packed. The people who work here are friendly and attentive. It is a bit pricey so it's better for special occasions, but I definitely look forward to my next visit.

Yelp
Got the Fettuccini Alfredo with chicken and it hit the craving I had. However, it didn't wow me.
google avatar

Rylan S.

Yelp
Showed up during the busy hour without a reservation and waited. So glad we did. Food was amazing. The pasta has a perfect chew. The flavors were rich and complex. Each dish we tried was delicious. Defiantly a favorite place.

Yelp
I would give this place a 5 stars if only based on the food, but our service was not great (read below), so that's why the lower rating. However, everything we ordered was delicious, and (mostly) made up For it. The food: My favorites were the rigatoni and the kale salad. The rigatoni was incredibly flavorful; it was hard to stop eating. And the salad dressing on the kale salad was fresh, bold and well balanced. The scampi was good and simple, but paled in comparison to the rigatoni. We actually added some of the rigatoni sauce into the scampi to add flavor, which leveled the dish up a lot. Forgot the drink I got, but it was tasty! Service: We stopped in on our drive from Cali to Seattle because my friend insisted we get Italian. We were not dressed for the style of restaurant, so maybe that's why we didn't get "welcoming" energy. We initially almost left because we felt uncomfortable. However, the food was great, so we were happy we stayed. Not sure if we'd come back, but we don't live anywhere close so I guess it doesn't matter. However, service is important to me, and I'm always disappointed when I'm not treated like I'm welcome in an establishment.

Yelp
I gotta be honest with you. I like just about everything about this place, lol. The exterior was super cute, and the interior was even more cute. It's the perfect place to take your special someone for a dinner date, especially if they like Italian. The food here didn't disappoint in the slightest. It had sooo much flavor. The waiter we had helped walk us through the menu so we could better decide on what we wanted. I really appreciated that, and he was super nice. I ended up getting the smoked salmon Alfredo, and I CLEANED my plate, lol. It was so good. My girl really liked her marsala. I definitely want to come back, though, and try the ragu. I was told that's their most famous dish. So bless your taste buds and check this place out.
google avatar

Kurt P.

Yelp
This is the best place to enjoy an authentic Italian dinner in Eugene. It is small but they are the only place in town that make their own pasta. There is nothing better than dishes created with fresh pasta!
google avatar

Pujita M.

Yelp
Placido's is my favorite Italian restaurant in Eugene. It is very popular & a smaller place so make reservations in advance. We were lucky to get a seat at the small bar the last time we were there because it was when they just opened but they were booked for the evening. My fav is the Smoked Salmon Alfredo. They make their own pasta as well as smoke their salmon & chicken. I ask for extra sauce & they happily accommodate my request. It's so rich it's best to share the dish. The Caesars salad is yummy too! I definitely recommend eating here!
google avatar

Kaitlyn P.

Yelp
this is some of the best pasta i've had in eugene. plus the staff was extremely friendly! we had a caesar salad, vodka rigatoni, the walrus, and two tiramisus. i can't wait to eat here again, but for now i'm so full from stuffing my face with the yummiest food.
google avatar

Yelp
We made reservations and the service and food were good. Charming little spot. The cocktails don't tell you what brand of alcohol they have in them and don't seem to have a choice to use higher grade for Cocktails that depend on good alcohol. We had the bartender as our server which delayed things a bit but he was lovely and attentive. We originally were having dinner here to see if they could host a small party after our very small wedding. We were told they only take reservations for 11 (which was our party but we also have 3 small children) and they took our information and details and we were told the owner would call us because they had a reservation table cap but also had a room they used upstairs. No one ever called us. We waited a week, called back, and then were told rather abruptly after waiting on hold they wouldn't have been able to accommodate us anyway, but then asked our name like they never checked with anyone or looked up our message. Never nice to feel like businesses just don't want you there and waste your time.

Jason B.

Yelp
Get a reservation, food was great, a but expensive but the portions are worth the price was not complaining.
google avatar

Ashley M.

Yelp
Tasty dishes! Only one star down because the food is VERY filling and the flavors get to be a bit too much by the end of the meal. They serve bread, so be warned, and don't over stuff yourself!
google avatar

Kathy L.

Yelp
AMAZING!! I came here for an early Mother's Day dinner at the recommendation of a friend. Her recollection was that the place was small and popular and suggested to make reservations. I was able to successfully make reserverations for the same evening of my call. Not being local, you can easily drive right past it and head to the business lot next door. The restaurant driveway is not easily noticeable--no big sign on the street to draw your attention to the restaurant (look for the Hummingbird Wholesale sign and the Burrito Girl Food Truck) head down that driveway to their onsite parking lot. When we got there we waited about 5 minutes for our table, as it was being cleared. It was busy for a weeknight and nearly all the seats at the bar were occupied. I was debating on ordering the chicken picatta or the pork ragout, our server's recommended the pork over the chicken. We ordered the fettuccini alfredo and the pork ragout with a side caesar salad to share. The portions were generous and surprisingly large. The fettuccini and the rotini pasta (organic and fresh) were cooked perfectly. The pork in the ragout was tender and not stringy. The alfredo sauce was creamy. I ate about 90% of my pasta, I was too full to have the last 2 bites. The caesar salad was also delicious and surprisingly big for a side salad. While I wanted dessert, we were too full to even share a dessert. But I definitely have to return when I am in town again. Our host, waiter/server, manager, John S. was amazing and I have to give him a shout out to juggle so many hats during our visit. If you haven't had the opportunity to check out this restaurant, you must do so. This is truly a hidden gem in the Market District!
google avatar

Jaane F.

Yelp
This pasta place seems so popular. I feel like they prefer you have a reservation in advance if possible. They can be swamped. However, we were lucky to get seated at a bar table, although we didn't make a reservation. We ordered pork ragout and arrabbiata. Both plates of pasta came out to warm and Al Dante. We enjoyed and were satisfied with our dinner. My arrabbiata has many Italian sausages and easy to chew through. My hubby's pork shoulder is very flavorful and tasty! The portion was decent with its price. It's worth stopping by here! They have their parking lot in the building.

Judy D.

Yelp
Ate dinner while in Eugene for wedding. The meal was fabulous as was the lovely guy who was our server. Best pasta dishes we've had in a long time! Their homemade pasta is delicious. I had the chicken piccata and my husband had the rigatoni with vodka cream red sauce with sausage in it. If we lived closer we'd be back often! Paired with Chianti and Primitive wines.

Jeremy W.

Yelp
Just had an amazing dinner at Placido's! Celebrated our 25th anniversary with perfect atmosphere, service, food and company. Thank you Placido's we'll be back!

Bill K.

Yelp
Placido's Pasta Shop. - Amazingly delicious food. Lasagna was delicious, top-notch. Ours was a house special with meat sauce this evening. Noteworthy, the lasagna was even better than the nice Italian restaurant near to the university and at Placido's you didn't pay extra for bread. The lemon cheesecake was the best we've ever tasted. Primarily Italian pasta dishes.

Kathryn G.

Yelp
The pasta dishes are absolutely perfect. The wine list is on point. This downtown restaurant is one everyone should visit.
google avatar

Kim D.

Yelp
Had a good dinner with friends but sadly the service was sub par...it's unfortunate when a servers demeanor overshadows the amazing food. Fresh pasta dishes with great flavors had by all. Kale salad was fresh, a little heavily dressed for me but still good.
google avatar

Kait L.

Yelp
One of my favorite Italian restaurants in Eugene. They make fresh pasta and you can taste the difference. You can even buy some freshly made pasta to take home and cook yourself. They have a seasonal menu so I always look forward to seeing what I can try next. Every drink i've gotten here as also been delish and perfectly balanced. Service is always friendly and i've never had an issue with my food or the staff. You can tell how much this local spot is loved the by packed reservations on the weekend. So definitely plan on making reservations if you have a special occasion coming.
google avatar

Marilou H.

Yelp
Love this place! Great food & great service. Because it's sooo good, you need reservations so plan ahead.

Yelp
Delicious Italian cuisine. Easy enough to modify dishes as a vegetarian and still get a tasty dish
google avatar

David T.

Yelp
4 star food, 5+ star service and ambience. The experience was so good it's a happy 5 overall. The bartender, Eric, was particularly noteworthy: knowledgeable, prompt, attentive, accurate, conversational, helpful, everything you want in a bartender. It's a really cozy spot and by the looks of things you should make a reservation. It was popping and I heard people get turned away because all tables were already booked for the night. Nice vibe there. Somehow it just feels like a small, local, Italian place should. I'd like to come back and try different things from the menu, including dessert, to get a better sense of the food and how different dishes are seasoned. The bottom line though is I'd like to come back. Like!
google avatar

Alicha B.

Yelp
It's okay.... There's way better restaurants in town. The pricing isn't bad tho but I still would rather go to beppe & Gianni's or ambrosia. I didn't like the table bread at all. Their signature drinks are really sweet too.
google avatar

Gary Q.

Yelp
Everything was perfect. Great fast service. Daisy was attentive, kind, fun, and professional. Perfect. Terrific food. Marinara sauce to die for. Pesto ravioli was outstanding. Atmosphere was very nice. Bread and marinara sauce brought to the table as an appetizer... Oh my! Just fantastic. Excellent prices. What more can we say? A+++++ all the way!

Yelp
I definitely recommend having reservations. The staff were friendly and the service good. The food was also good.

Yelp
Outstanding. Cute place, terrific service from Cooper and food was fantastic. Had kale salad that was fresh, had just enough going on to make it interesting, a great dressing and finished with roasted nuts that bring it all together. Pesto pasta dish was generous with great flavor but not overpowering. Good wine list, kinda cozy and overall really really good. Fairly priced for sure.

Yelp
From the moment we walked in, the host was very friendly, we didn't have a reservation and the place was packed. Fortunately, they had outside seating and on a warm evening it was perfect. The food was delicious, the Caprese salad, and the main course was more than we could eat, so we got a couple of takeout boxes for the next day. Hats off to Daisy, our server, who took good care of us. Can't wait till next time to explore some of the other dishes.

Yelp
We came here for dinner based on the high ratings. It didn't blow us away, but it was a nice meal. 4/5 - Pork Ragout: Braised pork shoulder sauteed in onion, celery and carrot, then braised for hours in red wine/marinara/chicken stock and served with organic rotini 4/5 - Complimentary Bread: Delicious! The tomato sauce with it is great for dipping and not too acidic. 4/5 - Bolognese: Ground beef and ground pork sausage sauteed with onion, carrot, celery and tomato to create a savory red sauce served over fresh organic spaghetti, topped with parmesan. Added Italian Sausage, which was pretty good but a little lean and dry. 3/5 - Carbonara: Bacon, shallots and garlic sauteed then deglazed with white wine and finished with a hearty cream sauce containing egg yoik and tossed with fresh organic spaghetti. Carbonara doesn't generally have a cream sauce and that was the thing that brought down the dish. It was just too much... 3/5 - Manhattan The food came out to 3.6 stars. I have no reason to drop the rating, so I will round up to 4 stars.

Yelp
Fresh pasta is always a treat! I've been twice now, and everything from the smoked chicken ravioli to the vodka rigatoni has been wonderful. They serve a small plate of bread, too. My go-to dish is fettuccine alfredo, and theirs is pretty good. It isn't novel, it's hard to turn the classic into something with a wow factor, but it is good - it isn't flour-y or too thick, you can taste the parmesan, it isn't overly salted. It's a dish that I will be back for. Portion sizes are large. My boyfriend and I thought we could have shared one dish and been satisfied. The servers were patient and very helpful. Service was fairly quick, too. They have a small interior, as well as a nice outdoor seating area just outside. Parking is a little tight, though.

Yelp
Do you have a reservation? If not - fughettaboutit. Took me a few tries to get a resy but it finally happened and I had a wonderful experience. Pastas were al dente chewy like they just came out of the pasta maker. I have gluten intolerance but went for it anyway. Sauces were delicious and cocktails were hand crafted with a generous pour.

Yelp
My favorite Italian restaurant in Eugene. I have ordered many dishes but the chicken piccata and smoked salmon Alfredo stuck with me. Both dishes were incredible. There are gluten free rotini noodles available for substitution, if you're gluten-challenged like me. The cocktails are made with care. Very nice wait staff and bartender. It's small and cozy inside the building, perfect for date night. Reservations recommended.

Yelp
Excellent place, great ambiance with very good service. I loved the bread and mariner sauce, just a great little add. We spilt a meal and even took some home. We had the Oreo tiramisu it was to dye for. Really enjoyed, even greater yet it was a gift. Very thankful.

Yelp
Wonderful food and ambience! I forget about this place because it's tucked away in a corner, but when I go back I'm reminded of the delicious homemade pasta dishes and kick myself for not going more often. Never had a bad meal here!

Yelp
Placido's really is one of Eugene's better restaurants, A great kitchen, super chef, and very good mainline pasta offerings, with excellent sauce variety. It's set in a boxy, loud space though, with high, inaccessible double hung windows in a food warehouse. it's small which is fine , but it's not cozy, which is disappointing. The ziti is excellent. I liked the osso buco one time, but it's not legendary or anything, and i never remember the desserts. So, good food, lousy cheesecake and an inescapably lousy physical setting. I'll be back.
