Gorgeous location, terrible service. We arrived midday on the off chance there would be beds available. We were informed only the double beds at the back were available for £170 for half the day which we reluctantly agreed to. We then witnessed multiple people be offered the single sunbeds at £55 throughout the afternoon we appeared to not have booked either. There appeared to only be 3 staff members working the beach and the service became the real disappointment of the day. We spent an hour trying to flag down a staff member to order drinks and some food. Eventually we ordered and went for a swim. When we came back our drinks still had not arrived and we were told we hadn’t ordered with the specific staff member that holds the only device you can order from. After ordering again, the food and drinks arrived quickly and were okay - nothing amazing for the price. It then took another hour to flag him down for a second drink. The location is 10/10, the most gorgeous clear water we have swam in and beautiful views. However the service, price and overall attitude of the staff really let it down. We paid considerably less at a different beach club for more food, drink and quality service.

The restaurant at the Plage was excellent. Great lunch experience, Superb and delicious food, great beach vibe and good service. Charged Parking is available close by. Beach chairs are exorbitant at Eur 100 a person. The restaurant is directly at the beach and you can go into the water right after your meal which is excellent and convenient.

Off season it’s a great beach, calm and you get the sun in the afternoon, the water is clean and you have a nice view. You also have toilets and showers. In the high season I don’t recommend it at all. Its full and it’s especially full of people and young men (non European) that don’t respect anyone scream and are annoying so that the police has to come over and over again, and that next to a beach club that rents chairs for 100€

Beach was super rocky and hurt until you got in at about the waist. I wish I brought slides or waterproof sandals to wear. Service wasn’t great at all. They never checked on me after my food was delivered to see if I wanted another drink

Beautiful and charming place, food reasonably good. Bonus points for the girls in the dining area, especially the one with the tattoos, really kind and lovely.

We went there end of Sept, the weather was still good and it wasn’t crowded at all.

A truly memorable dinner in a setting that captures the magic of the French Riviera. It was my second time here for a special occasion, and I’ll definitely be back again. Our waiter, Ludovic, went above and beyond to make the evening feel personal and special. The perfectly cooked meat, exceptional wine, and one of my favourite views in the entire French Riviera, especially breathtaking at sunset, made for an experience that felt both intimate and extraordinary. A magical evening from start to finish!

Yelp
We're so happy we found this little gem before our trip ended. We were looking for a place to eat with a possible view and we found it! We went for dinner and although the menu was limited, the food was great. We started off with the artichoke salad accompanied with a complimentary basket of bread. The bread was the best we've had in the south of France. Why did every restaurant we go to serve terrible, stale, flavorless bread? This bread seemed fresh and was soo tasty. We then got the mixed seafood platter with jumbo prawns, squid, octopus, seabass, and mixed vegetables (eggplant, zucchini, bell pepper, potato) and wowow. Some restaurants that i visit overseas inspire me to rethink cuisines and this one was one of them. Everything was seasoned so well and they used oregano on their seafood! Who knew! We enjoyed it so much this was the first restaurant i went to that i requested a to-go box for leftovers. I'm not sure if it was super slow and the quality control was more present or maybe they just always have good food but we thoroughly enjoyed our meal. I recommend!

Yelp
We took a vacation for two weeks at the end of August to southern France. We were staying at Chevre d'or and made a day trip over to this exclusive peninsula. We rented a cabana for the day ($500) had lunch and swam in the crystal clear waters! if you're going to go to the beach and the Riviera book in advance and prepare to pay for guaranteed spot and experience. For us it was worth it!!

Yelp
I'll start by reviewing the beach itself: a jaw dropping view. The blue water extends forever and mild waves lap upon the rocky shore. Compared to nearby pebble beaches, this rocky shore embodies a sandlike consistency that's much easier (and less painful) to walk upon. Next up, the service: frustratingly slow. We ordered only a couple drinks each over the course of our 4 hour stay because service was just. That. Slow. Prices here were very steep, too. The only dish you can order for under 20 euros is a cheese pizza. We indulged in the ham, tomato, mushroom pizza and added extra arugula. The arguably average pizza nevertheless hit the spot and satiated our hunger. I recommend the beach itself, but you may be better off bringing your own chairs, food, and drinks to the nearby "public" beach. If you're only visiting Cape Ferret for the day, Plage de Passable is a nice enough place to kick up your feet and enjoy the ocean. Up to you.

Yelp
A little off the beaten path, but a nice and somewhat quiet beach club. Unlike some others in the general area, Passable was much more tranquil than expected. The food was decently good, but not as refined as some others we visited.

Yelp
Came to the beach with my wife & son. We went to the private beach club. It has an amazing view. Beach chairs are the priciest around at $100 euro per for front row. Doesn't include a towel. Comes with a $40 euro per chair credit. The food was really fair. Not great. Pizza was bad. The server yelled at my wife for bringing in a yeti water bottle for my 4 year old son. The servers name was Max. Then later asked me to give him a 20% tip extra. Hmmm... view is great and chairs are comfortable enough. Otherwise, just overpriced bad food.

Yelp
This is for the restaurant...and I only had the caprese: a medium boule of buffalo mozzarella with heirloom tomatoes, fresh shredded beets and olive oil with garlic all on a bed of finely chopped fresh root vegetables--which was excellent all around. The service as well was warm and welcoming and the ambiance relaxed.

Yelp
Are you looking for a comfortable, high end spot to enjoy an exquisite lunch on a secluded, beautiful beach overlooking the Mediterranean? Look no further. Plage de Passable has been a favorite of ours for many years for many reasons. First, the setting doesn't get much better than this. Second, the restaurant offers fresh, high quality seafood, pasta and pizza choices, and a variety of wine and cocktails. One of our favorites is to share the Caprese Salad and a pizza - the perfect duo to enjoy with rosé wine on a hot day. Third, Plage de Passable offers comfortable chaises and umbrellas for rent at reasonable prices. Only negative is that the restaurant's wifi is sorely in need of an upgrade given that the signal only reaches part of the restaurant. Overall, Plage de Passable offers many amenities and great food for a relaxing beach day.

Yelp
For a remote escape away from the overly crowded nearby beaches - ahem, Nice and the port-side of St. Jean Cap Ferrat- and a lovely perspective of VilleFranche across the way. This stunning little gem of beachfront offers premier sun, swimming, and diving. It has a more remote and inherently private feel compared to it's neighboring beaches, plus all the amenities of a city beach: Massage, a restaurant with waterfront food and beverage service, accommodating lounge chairs & umbrellas, beer and wine (maybe even full bar?) service, and popular water activity rentals! Take a walk up the hill from the parking lot and venture along the trail for a memorable hike along rocky cliffs and the sea. You'll wrap around the entire "cap" and arrive at the port of St. Jean Cap Ferrat, where you can easily cut back through the port and village, pass the jardinerie and arrive back at Plage de Passable.

Yelp
Plague de passable is an absolutely stunning and beautiful little private beach with a wonderful view! Located away from crowded beaches this place is perfect for relaxed vacation. Overall service and food is good.

Yelp
I went there with my family and I would not recommend to go there. It has very nice view, but the service was not good and the food was just ok. It was very clear that they do not like foreigners and were very rude when we had questions or wanted more information. The menu is very limited and it is VERY expensive for the bad service you will get.

Yelp
A few years ago this would have been an easy 5 stars. This little beach is absolutely charming and stunning, with a view over the old town of Villefranche sur Mer and its beautiful "rade", often packed with yachts and cruise boats who are enjoying the scenery from the sea. Unfortunately St Jean Cap Ferrat has - for obvious reasons as it's such a perfect Mediterranean jewel - become a magnet for the mega wealthy and particularly for the Russian new money. As a result the level of service for the "normal" customers has gone down considerably (would you think that the 2 ladies who run the place care to say hello?) and prices have gone up similarly (up to 30 euros a day for a mattress in front of the beach...). But the biggest let down is the restaurant as this used to be good, especially for fresh fish and classic mediterranean cuisine. We had a totally uninspired lunch, and the worse value for money we had this summer in the South of France. But the view remains what it is... absolutely stunning and that made our day, lets hope that at some point something changes although I am not very hopeful that it will change anytime soon.
