"Inside the Hoxton Hotel in the middle of a terrace is this petit wine bar that feels like you’re in a chateau library. It’s a stately affair with high-top tables, leather bar stools, and wooden shelves filled with wine bottles. The European wine list leans organic with a few orange options, and you’ll always drink good wine or try something new. Walk-ins are possible during the week, but play it safe and make a reservation online if you’re coming on weekends when it’s busier. Delicious platter of food accompanied by a lovely choice of wines. David looked after us, giving us the best recommendations for wines that evening as well as going out of his way to find a great vegan restaurant nearby when we mentioned we were finding it tricky to find great vegan food in Paris. He really made our stay at The Hoxton extra special!

As two first time Americans in Paris, Alexia and Freddy made our experience top notch. Their expertise in wine pairings and genuine kindness ( helping us with our French) was much aorreicistdx. Terrible service! We had reserved a table for a large group, with a month notice. To our surprise, when arriving we were “thrown” to the terrace (5 degree with no heaters) to make way for another large group from “the management”. We were then told that a solution would be found. 20 mins later, waiting in the cold… nothing was done. I initially was looking forward to dine at Planche but they made the experience terrible. To avoid!

The service is incredibly disrespectful! My friend booked a table with them a month ago for a group. When we’ve arrived, they put us in the terrace (cold, no heating, no music) because they had an another reservation from the « management » that they’ve prioritized to us. No solution has been found. Terrible!!

Cute place, rather hidden behind the Hoxton Hotel Bar but definitely worth a visit.
