"San Diego’s Plant Power Fast Food is quickly making a name for itself across Orange County and the Inland Empire. The colorful restaurant has Instagram appeal, and isn’t afraid to offer unique takes on ‘bacon’ and other foods in addition to straightforward cheeseburgers." - Farley Elliott

Google
I'm frequently in the area, driving around looking for a place to eat that isn't your ordinary fast food chain. I was pleasantly surprised to stumble on Plant Power, and I wasn't even looking for lunch. It is fast food, and I believe it's a chain, but it's far from ordinary. The staff was very friendly when I walked in the door, which I always take as a good sign. There is a great selection on the menu, and my food was outstanding. I haven't looked at their nutrition guide, so I can't say how healthy they are, but it's nice to know there's a meatless option that doesn't cost an arm and a leg.

M Hernandez

Google
Amazing, fast food! Lots of tables, indoor and outdoor seating. Great for large groups. We easily had a big table for 12. We got quinoa, salad, burgers, shakes. The cookie dough shake was the best: large chunks of cookie dough throughout the entire thing.

Google
I love this place! The food is excellent (especially the regular fries)! Service is always friendly and professional. The atmosphere is always chill. We need one in the Victor Valley, CA.

Drew Mabry

Google
While I'm not a vegan, while dining with a vegan friend I enjoyed my lunch. Everything tasted good and I filled up on what tasted like standard fast food, which I enjoy. The service was fantastic, prices were reasonable, everything was very clean and well laid out, and there was plenty of parking. I'll definitely be back ( when I'm with my vegan friends).

Erin Zarichny

Google
Used to love this place, I could bring my non vegetarian friends and family and they loved it. I don't know why things changed, the "beefy" pattie did not taste that good and the chicken tenders that used to be thick "meaty" and delicious, so good they did not need sauce now were inedible without sauce and thin little things.

Richard Lopez

Google
Vegans rejoice! If your looking for a delicious fast food meal, Plant Power is your place. They have great options from burgers to chicken sandwiches to wraps and salads. The Big Zac was such a great burger and it was really close in taste to the Big Mac. Service was great! Everyone was friendly and extremely helpful. The restaurant inside was spacious, clean and inviting.

Mayra Apodaca

Google
First timer! Giving it a 5 star because this is the closest I’ll ever get to a Big Mac. The shake wasn’t really my favorite. Me personally I don’t like almond milk, so the shake wasn’t all that good. The fries were good. The best thing I ordered was indeed the Big Zag (the only reason I’ve been wanting to try out this place). Only downside, the burger was a little bit to dry, more sauce would of been perfect.

Mark Stebbins

Google
Delicious is the word of the day when coming here. We ordered the Big Zac, The Holy Guacamole and the Voodoo Fries. The voodoo fries are best described as a better version of animal style fries from In N Out. The Big Zac is a little too heavy on the bread for my taste but it was so good! My wife absolutely loved her burger as well. We chose the "beefy" version this time around but are excited to try the black bean versions as well. We will definitely be back!

Courtney G.

Yelp
Awesome food and great customer service!! Everyone that works there is super nice and the store is very well maintained.

Lee S.

Yelp
I was pleasantly surprised about the food here. Although we switched to being Vegan for health reasons, this place allowed us to indulge in a Vegan Big Mac (Big Zack), and also french fries that resembled "In and Outs" famous Animal Style fries. My son tried the Chicken wrap with sweet potato animal style fries. Our desserts were strawberry cheesecake and a cup of ice cream with cookie dough and Oreo cookies mixed together. I must say that all of their food tasted pretty good! There wasn't a moment of me feeling compromised on it being a plant based substitute. It tasted like the real deal (although our taste buds are slightly changed now). If you're looking for a walk down memory lane of eating fast food as a carnivore, then this is absolutely your place! My only complaint was that the fries seemed a little too salty and the strawberries on the cheesecake seemed too processed. The staff were friendly and the place was clean. I can appreciate that.

Marcela A.

Yelp
I discovered Plant Power near a San Diego beach and it was amazing! The line was out the door and the employees amazing. However my experience at the Redlands location has been different. The food has been absolutely disgusting, I recently ordered a strawberry shake that tasted like gasoline and olive oil, the chicken tenders were a soggy salt lick and the fries were oily and cold. Plant Power you make me want to eat meat so I never experience your terrible food again. I want my time and money back.

Nicho S.

Yelp
Wow, $17 for a meal and the burgers got smaller and quality went down? No thanks. I'm cool just eating at home.

Sandy C.

Yelp
I can't believe how disappointing this place is. Pictures speak for themselves. Forget the rest, I paid almost $5.00 for cold, burnt, flavorless, minuscule sweet potato fries. What a rip off!

Erin K.

Yelp
Don't assume this food will not make you feel bad, just because it's 100% plant-based (like I did). Like the name says, it's still fast food. I decided to come in after seeing an ad for s'mores ice cream on the door! I ordered the California Burrito and S'mores Snow Day. The burrito was a decent size for the price ($10), but I didn't enjoy anything in it except the fries and guacamole. The snow day was overpriced for the size ($8). Unfortunately didn't get much "s'mores" flavor either - it was vanilla ice cream, with some cookie pieces and chocolate covered marshmellows mixed in. Glad I tried this spot, and glad there are more vegan options around, however won't be returning. Service was excellent though!! Clean restaurant with very friendly staff.

Dori C.

Yelp
Highly overpriced for the quality. Initially all their ethics on the wall lined up to the price but now they are serving laboratory meat at the same price! Over the years they have changed from the fries being fresh and serving healthy options like kombucha and pressed juices to now bill gates meat. Disappointed! If you have a family and have little kids beware of the music - we've been there when they had songs talking about cocaine and asked the manager if they could change it and she said it's a built in play list from head quarters . Service is always great though! We've never had a bad experience with customer service.

Yelp
I wish there were more places like this in the bay area. Whenever I am in the inland Empire, looking for a quick bite of something nostalgic to the bigger corporations of restaurants, I love stopping by plant power. On a Saturday night it was not packed and offered a Quiet time to sit and enjoy a meal. The service was quick and efficient and the food is amazing. I love all the plants that are situated around the restaurant especially the wall of plants closer to the restrooms. This place is a great place to have a good meal on your own or to catch up with a group of friends. Be sure to try the cheeseburger or the double cheeseburger with fries meal.I look forward to coming by again when I pass through the inland Empire very soon.

Erick M.

Yelp
I recently decided to try vegan food. I located this spot via Yelp. It had good reviews. I do have to say, their plant food is absolutely amazing. I had a "sausage" burrito. I was shocked on how great the quality was the amount of food in the burrito. The service was good and the ambiance was fine as well.

Julie N.

Yelp
It was so nice to have a plant-based Chicken Caesar Salad Wrap. Especially yummy with crispy chicken. And plant-based Caesar dressing! I loved it! The person with me got the Superfood Salad, which had very fresh ingredients. The Italian Herb dressing has apple cider vinegar, which this lady doesn't like. I'm sure we could have requested a different dressing. I don't know why we didn't!

Sonia G.

Yelp
We got a Cali burrito and it barely had any soy meat in it. It was mostly guacamole and fries.

Evely T.

Yelp
The wraps/burritos here are FAT and they give you a hefty amount of fries which I love! The tortilla they use is thick so nothing falls out, but it does require you to go try their hibiscus tea to wash it down. If you're wondering what the secret sauce tastes like, it's a thousand island sauce dupe. And if you're debating between "beef" or "chicken" definitely go for the chicken.

Kashonda H.

Yelp
My children like the food here. They say it's delicious and wanted to try everything on the menu.

Jerry M.

Yelp
Very tasty vegan fast food here. This review is for take out. (Although it does look like a nice restaurant inside that is certainly nicer inside than any regular fast food establishment.) So on to the food... we has the "Big Zac" double burger and the "chicken" sandwich. A side of fries and a chocolate shake. If you like mcDonalds or In and Out, then this vegan place has it dialed in. The Zac is pretty spot on for that other double cheeseburger (you know which one I mean). The preparation of the vegan patties are very similar to In and Out or McDonalds. If you have not eaten at either one of those restaurants for years because you went vegan and you still wish you could enjoy some fast food once in a while...well Plant Power will do the job quite nicely. Their fries are hot and crispy too. The chicken sandwich was also very good. It has a deep fried chicken flavor that will satisfy any fried chicken lover. Only a couple of drawbacks to the meal. The bun on the big zac should be softer and the chocolate shake seems to have a touch of cinnamon. I am no fan of "Unauthorized Cinnamon" and would not have ordered it had I known it was going to be in my chocolate shake. Otherwise, this was a very good fast food vegan lunch for sure and I highly recommend Plant Power.

OnDaRoad K.

Yelp
Super yummy! Having sweet potato fries wooed me in the door but hippy pattie Guac burger was probably best burger I have had. Sweet potato fries good too .. lotta salt though. Staff was very friendly.

Monty D.

Yelp
Variety is the spice of life, and nothing more so than food genres. In Redlands, we have Plant Power Fast Food in the Sprouts shopping center as additional spice. The restaurant was clean, the staff was attentive and service was quick. It's not just fast food; you can see from my pic the expression of their commitment to being biodegradable. I like their salads. In the past I've had their kale salad which was good, but today I had their BBQ "Chicken" salad - fried version. As you can see from my pic the imitation chicken is similar to a chicken breast. The breading was light, yet still crunchy. Not pictured was their plant based BBQ sauce. While it wasn't your traditional deep red BBQ sauce, it was pinkish, creamy and had a light, traditional BBQ flavor. The pairing of their BBQ sauce and the chicken tasted quite good - the moisture of their sauce helped the dryness of the "chicken". The rest of the salad: black beans, corn, lettuce, spinach and avocado was filling and refreshing. I would order this again.

Eleanoar R.

Yelp
I ordered on the app and it took a bit of time to pick up. The kids cheeseburger and fried was good but where are the healthier options? No veggies or fruit just a side salad which is just lettuce. And I would've liked to see no sugar options-only thing was tea. And why am I being asked to tip when someone is handing me a bag? It's not table service. I had to click none. A tip jar is one thing but a tip where you have to decline is a little much for fast food

Kaela S.

Yelp
This vegetarian fast-service food was pretty affordable and very delicious. The western burger was really good! They have kiosks available for you to order food as an alternative to ordering at the counter. They were also really quick with preparing everything. Lots of seating is available for big groups.

Cynthia H.

Yelp
Great food. Butterfinger Snow day ice-cream is a must get. The staff was so friendly and gave my dog a pup cup.

Paula F.

Yelp
Great place for vegans/ vegetarians to grab a quick bite. My daughter and I were on our way back to LA from Palm Springs and wanted dinner without losing a lot of drive time. This was a great choice as it was relatively close to the freeway and was quick. Located in a cute little outdoor shopping center, this adorable, modern farmhouse style restaurant had easy parking in the good sized lot and was not busy. The restaurant was moderately sized with both indoor and outdoor seating. Counter and kiosk ordering was available. Store brand merchandise (bags, mugs, pins, shirts, etc.) was available for sale. We ordered the Iconic Burger, the Chicken Sandwich, a side salad and a Strawberry Kombucha Float. Our number was called about 10 minutes after we ordered. Our food was nicely wrapped and presented on a tray. The Iconic Burger was nicely sized and tasty. The Chicken Sandwich was a bit small (for the price) and a tad plain. Service was good. The single user, all gender restroom was in good working order but probably in between cleanings. Keeping this on my radar for my next Palm Springs drive.

Kathleen H.

Yelp
Consistently excellent service and food! Always made fast, great for eating in or on the go. Especially love the brunch items! As a vegan, I often struggle with satisfying my sweet tooth when eating out, so I love that Plant Power offers dairy-free frozen desserts! Definitely one of Redlands' food spot gems!

Ray L.

Yelp
Outstanding fast food! I had the Holy Guac burger which was just overflowing with tasty goodness. Make sure to have the Hippie patty as your burger. A must excellent black bean option. And just about all the plates cups etc are compostable so waste is minimalized. The missus had the sausage edges and cheese muffin which she enjoyed throughly as well. Top notch vegan food prepared and served by a top notch crew!

Jennifer O.

Yelp
Best breakfast burrito I've ever had! Next time I'm in town, I will definitely be back.

Ann G.

Yelp
I appreciate having this option in town...a bit pricey but they do what they do very well, and everything is tasty. I like the "chicken" and waffle omg, and their coffee milkshakes are yummy.

Jocelyn O.

Yelp
Came by here to celebrate my nieces belated birthday. She's vegetarian and loves this place. She ordered the Crispy Chicken Wrap and I wasn't too hungry so I ordered the side salad and French fries. The size of her crispy chicken wrap was enormous. She loved it. As for the French fries, you can see that half was over cooked. I only ate half. The side salad was extremely small. I asked for Italian dressing, but they have Italian herb. When you squeeze out the dressing, honestly it looked like someone threw up! LOL. However I wanted to be open minded and try it, which wasn't too bad at all. Employee taking our order was friendly. Our food was ready within a couple of minutes. We were glad to sit in a table away from others, however the table wasn't wiped down. So for that no 5 stars today. Support your local businesses.

Brian R.

Yelp
Guacamole burger was delicious, as well as the cookies and cream snow day. My only complaint is the value of what you get. I spent $20 on a burger and the small snow day (maybe 10-12 ounce ice cream blizzard). I left still hungry. Should have got the meal deal and skipped ice cream thing.

Sunny M.

Yelp
Good food and good service. Loved the meatless breakfast burrito. They got some good menu collections.

Aaron R.

Yelp
WOW!!! if you want amazing customer service and superb vegan fast food this is it! it really feeds the part of me that misses mcdonald's, carl's jr., jack in the box, etc.! my favorites are the rambler burger and the crispy chicken sandwich. their bbq sauce is sooo good, smoky tangy and sweet. the onion rings are a must have add on no matter what i'm ordering, whether it's a chicken sandwich or a burger i have to add their delicious onion rings. i think they're really missing out on an opportunity to let customers buy onion rings on the side. i wish i could get onion rings instead of fries!! please plant power!! anyways the team here is so sweet, i love asking how their day is going and how they're doing. ive come here so many times the past three years since i go to uni nearby and it's been so amazing. i love ordering on the app since pickup is so quick. their shakes are great but i always get a fountain drink and mix lemonade and the lemon soda to make it fizzy. anyways!! go here!! it fills my fast food desire and animals are saved!!

Erik A.

Yelp
I had been really wanting to try this jam out for quite a while and finally had a chance recently. I've got to be honest, before heading in I had no idea what morsel I was going to select off the menu. I really wanted to try all the options off the menu and eat all the foods. I decided I needed to go with the staple burger to give it a fair rating system on the yelp. I went with the signature burger "The Big Zac," which is a take on the "Big Mac." I wouldn't really know if they nailed the mock take on the burger, because I haven't had carcass in close to 30 years. I can tell you this burger was delicious either way and surpassed my expectations. Next, I went with a side of the "Iconic Fries," I had seen some photos of these online and I got to say they didn't look appealing. Was I totally wrong, these things were amazing despite their appearance. The perfectly caramelized onions just meshed so well with the secret sauce and melted cheese. These are a most when hanging out at this spot and thrown down a burger. Overall decent customer service, I know it's a struggle for places to handle the new lifestyle that mother earth has bestowed upon humanity. They also offer a kiosk ordering system for those who like gaming. I must add that this place is little pricey, but the food was well worth the monies. Great vegan establishment, get some. 4.5 - If closer I'd be here at least once a week. So good mint!

Carrie E.

Yelp
I was really not sure about this place when I first rolled up since I'm not vegan, but dang, it was delicious! I got the iconic fries, and they were amazing. The organic soda was also super tasty. As promised, the service was also super fast! They had kiosks to speed things along. I also sat down and ate, and the atmosphere was nice, definitely a little more cozy than just a standard fast food place. I highly recommend giving this a shot!

Reginamelloy95 ..

Yelp
So I went in today to check this place out. Let me just say it did not disappoint at all. The place is very nice inside. The staff were welcoming as soon as we walked in. The food was great, especially since I am not vegetarian or vegan. The soft serve ice cream was absolutely to die for. You definitely gotta try it. The hibiscus tea was bomb too! I will be revisiting this place again for sure, y'all should too!!

Nancy J.

Yelp
Plant Power gets comfort fast food right, putting a vegan spin on the retro classics we all grew up on. They even nail breakfast! I've tried many of their menu items, but the craving for those oatmilk milkshakes are unmatched. Creamy, rich and with a rotating selection of seasonal flavors- no other place has shakes that come close to theirs. Being oat-based is great for those with nut sensitivities. Kombucha on tap is another bonus and there's usually two flavors to choose from. With locations in Redlands and SD, I usually spend a pretty penny during my infrequent visits but I also always order an extra meal for the next day. The menu allows for substitution of sauces and protein patties and I have never been disappointed with what I've ordered. I've definitely ordered the bacon cheeseburger the original way more than once. Chicken nuggets are my favorite side item with BBQ sauce. That battered coating is just so perfect and I prefer them to the larger chicken tenders. Fries are always cooked to perfection and burgers wouldn't be right without them. Chocolate cheesecake is another must. Creamy, dense, deep with chocolate flavor and the textured crust makes it a perfect sweet way to end the meal. This location is in a shopping center with ample parking, along with indoor and outdoor seating. They have an ordering kiosk to help with the lines or for no-pressure ordering.

Jason D.

Yelp
Food review TBD as I finally JUST got my breakfast sandwich. Jean at the counter working her tail off solo, they need to hire more help yo, cause 15-20min wait for plant based "fast food" waaaayyyy too long and for the prices on a t product the margins gotta be big enough for another counter worker and somebody in the kitchen. Let's hope it tastes good for real meat cook times

Tiffany L.

Yelp
I'm from the LA city and was craving some Veggie Grill-like vegetarian food and came across Plant Power on Yelp and went to try. Food tastes good but wish the chickens were a bit more crispy; they tend to become soggy fast with all the sauces.

Leeanna C.

Yelp
I don't like this place at all! The line took forever to get through and the tables hadn't been cleaned up. They're veggie based menu is good I suppose if you're vegetarian, but I found it all so gross. We tried a lot of items just to sample the selection. I kinda wanted to throw up after trying their "chili". I've been to plenty of vegetarian specialty restaurants and have never been disappointed like I was here. I just can't go back after trying that ketchup tasting "chili".

Michelle S.

Yelp
Delicious , Non-Gmo , Cruelty Free , Guilty pleasure without murdering someone -priceless Kale Quinoa Salad added crispy chicken Crispy Chicken Sandwich YUm I honestly think they have the best "Chicken" If you are an animal eater and reading this, just give it a try and you won't even know the difference yet you saved a life and your body would thank you !! Watch documentaries " the game changers " and "what the health" it changed my brothers life and lost all the weight . So incredible! Change your life now! You ain't missing out on anything but cholesterols and diseases ! Haha

Richard L.

Yelp
Vegans rejoice! If your looking for a delicious fast food meal, Plant Power is your place. They have great options from burgers to chicken sandwiches to wraps and salads. The Big Zac was such a great burger and it was really close in taste to the Big Mac. Service was great! Everyone was friendly and extremely helpful. The restaurant inside was spacious, clean and inviting.

Wes B.

Yelp
This is the best Power Plant Food restaurant to get Burgers, Chicken Sandwiches, Buffalo Wings, Fries, etc.... There food is prepared perfectly well.

Kathy S.

Yelp
Hadn't been here on a while and don't know why. It's one of the only vegan only restaurants I've n the area. I got the buffalo 'chicken' sandwich which hit the mark on flavor profile and texture. The only thing missing was the indigestion you would normally get with real animal product lol. It was very satisfying and their fries were surprisingly good without any sauce. This is one of the food items I miss from my old way of eating and am happy to find a much tastier replacement. I will definitely return.

Mercedes M.

Yelp
Food is great but a bit pricey $11 for a small burrito. Love coming here though, they always get my order right

Charles W.

Yelp
If you're in Redlands, you have no excuse to not try this magic place! As a Phoenix transplant, I have driven from Los Angeles to Arizona multiple times, and I almost never make the trip without my requisite trip to plant power. The Big Zac is a gift from God. But there are no bad options: from the amazing vegan shakes to the perfect fries to the 11 out of 10 vegan recreations of your favorite fast food iconic burgers. they make all of the fake meat in the store, and I feel like you can taste the difference compared to a veggie burger at any other place. I have no downsides to report here, everyone. There is ample parking, service is great, food is consistently delicious and doesn't take long to get to you, and there is an awesome reward program that's worth signing up for ahead of time so you can take advantage of the free shake coupon if they're still doing that. I know it's greater greater metro area, but this is still on my list of Los Angeles favorites.

A C.

Yelp
Love the idea and the veganism. It's a good alternative to in n out or fast food in general. But that's it. I can't completely say that it's the healthier version. It's full of gluten, wheat and soy and a bunch of processed stuff that idk about in veganism. I didn't feel well for a couple days and had to detox my body - bloating, malaise, water retention, etc. And that was just from the 'chicken' nuggets/tenders. I won't be back eating their 'meat'. However, The iconic fries are pretty spot on to mimic animal style fries and I would go back just for that since the ingredients won't impact me as much as the other items. Also the price is expensive. I will stick to real meat such as shake shack for the price and less symptoms.

Artiss A.

Yelp
It was okay. The breakfast burrito wasn't too good, but they were nice enough to change for a guacamole burger which was good and had good flavor. Bacon, egg, and cheese croissant was okay too. I would go back to try a burger and something different though. The fountain drinks were meh, wouldn't get those again.

Tiff G.

Yelp
This place is soo delicious best fast food I've ever had. I love how they have everything a vegan normally can't have and make it vegan! We try to stop here whenever we are coming through town. If you sign up for there app they do deals and get points.

Trichome A.

Yelp
This place used to be so good! The last couple times I have been there the food is not good and the employees seem to be more concerned with hanging out than the food quality. The last time (yesterday) I even got a stomach ache which I am still fighting a day later. The quality of the food and customer care has really gone downhill, I won't be eating here again.

Pia L.

Yelp
I'm sorry, but this place was a real let down. Their prices were ridiculous and the food was not worth the price. The service was professional and good. The establishment was clean. Won't return!

Sonia V.

Yelp
This place is pretty good for their plant based options and we loved their take on In-N-Out's Animal style fries, very good. We got the burger and fries to accompany each other. The only drawback on this day was that the tables outside were a bit dirty.

Ray M.

Yelp
During a return trip from Palm Springs, Ca, I noticed a billboard asking the freeway. I decided to drive a extra ten minutes to this place. All I can say is WOW!!!! This place is AWESOME!!!! I have never tried a place which sells nothing but plant based fast food. This is TRULY one of a kind I had the "Big Zac" burger which resembles a Big Mac. The taste of the Big Zac is UNBELIEVABLE! It is sooooo good. My family also has the Iconic Fries which include sauteed onions (UNREAL!! Soooo good!), a Avocado kale Quinoa salad (DELICIOUS!!) and regular fries which were EXCELLENT! Even the sodas available in their fountain drink station were GREAT!! Customer service here is #1. Each employee was very friendly, knowledgeable of the food in the menu and each one of the girls provided service with a huge smile. THANK YOU!! I will DEFINITELY drive the 45 minutes it will take to return here from home. Totally worth it! The siads

Jasmine R.

Yelp
Good vegan burgers and kids liked it! Will come back when craving a Big Mac. Love the plants

Salvador S.

Yelp
Great fast food if your in the mood for some burgers and Chicken nuggets. If your having a sweet tooth try there new snow day ice creams.
