Really nice plant based restaurant. It's unique enough to be worth a try. I recommend the Bang Bang Broccoli and Al Pastor Bowl with the GF crispy chick'n Cutlet for additional protein. I also had the Vodka Pizza, which was very good but it didn't stand out as much as the first two items I tried.

I'm not vegan or vegetarian myself, so I was genuinely surprised by how much I enjoyed this place. I didn’t expect to like vegan food so much, but everything I tried was absolutely delicious. I even found myself checking the menu again just to see what was in the dishes—hard to believe something so healthy could taste that good! The food is incredibly creative and well-executed, with amazing flavors throughout. The ambiance is refined, and the service was excellent. My only critique is the drink sizes - paying $20 for a cocktail that comes in a tiny glass felt disappointing. I understand the cost-saving angle, but returning to standard glassware might go a long way in making customers feel they’re getting more value. I truly think that small change could help build an even more loyal customer base. Thanks again!

Wow! This place is amazing. All of the food and drinks were so good, the presentation was so thoughtful, and our server Laura was great. Loved the vegan sushi! Can't recommend this place enough. If you're on the fence about going, go! We can't wait to show our family and friends this place.

Went to Planta for my birthday and sad to say I was very unimpressed. Thankfully, I was able to get a drink and two appetizers on happy hour but other than that I really didn’t like my experience. I’ve been to other Planta’s but I went to this one because they’re the only on that has the steak. The drinks were very tiny (not sure if that’s just the happy hour size) The broccoli seemed like they used frozen broccoli. The spicy crab roll was very bland. Spinach artichoke dip was full of garlic with no other flavor. My steak was okay but I’ve had better plant based steaks. While eating, someone took my plate away as soon as I grabbed my roll off the plate - a manager noticed this and pulled him to the side and told him that we just received the dish and to give us time. But after that, no one came to remove any dish off of our table for the rest of the time. I had to ask my server to take plates off the table. But any way, prior to arriving I went to their website and noticed that if you use the “inkind” app, you will get $30 off your bill of $90+. When I went to pay, I noticed my card was charged but there was a technical problem so it didn’t show up on their end. I bought this to the attention of my server SAM & his response was that he didn’t work for InKind and there was nothing he could do. Sam told me I would have to call “inKind” and resolve it with them (inkind does not have a phone number btw). He also said that he told the manager and she also said there’s nothing that could be done and I would have to just pay again. Sam said the manager was too busy to come to our table. He was very dismissive and unhelpful. I told him that didn’t seem fair because then I would be paying twice for my meal with no resolution. I asked another very nice waiter if he could ask the manager to come to my table and she came out very quickly & seemed like she had no idea about the situation (Sam probably never even told her). Thankfully, she was very nice, understanding and helpful and we came to a resolution. On our way home, both my partner and I had upset stomach that we think was from maybe too much oil in the food or something. My experience at this planta was maybe a 4/10, which makes me sad because it was my birthday & this is supposed to be one of the establishments that gives a great plant based experience. But thank you to the manager that helped us.

Wow. The nomad location is already incredible and somehow this location is even better. The food was so unbelievably good. I recommend this place highly. I don't know how it isn't Michelin star rated. The service, the location, and the food, all 5 stars from me. Will be back.

Google
The food and service was very good. The atmosphere was eclectic. The only problem was that the music was beyond loud. Reducing the volume of the music would definitely make the dining experience more enjoyable and allow customers to have a conversation without yelling to each other.

First time in this location, went the day before Vday and it was pretty calm, and chill atmosphere, our server was great at giving recommendations and being sweet but not overwhelming! The food was incredibly good, unfortunately my photos werent great quality but definitely recommend this place !!

Google
Not only is this a beautiful establishment but the food was AH-MAZING, had no idea plant based food could be so good. The desert and drinks were even better. My server Laura was very kind, patient, attentive and accommodating. Highly recommend!

Yelp
For vegans, vegetarians, and just any foodie actually, Planta is definitely a must try. With the food being in the pricier side (as expected for a vegan restaurant in NYC) I actually found the pricing to be reasonable, and dare I say worth it? I'm nowhere close to being a vegan, but when a friend invited me out to try the food here I jumped at the opportunity to try something new. The best bang for your buck is if you're dining during happy hour, where the pricing of the dishes becomes much more reasonable. This also allows you to try more dishes, which is always a win for me! While we ordered a lot, there wasn't anything I disliked. The flavors of each dish were so unique, and to a meat/dairy eater, you definitely couldn't tell it was vegan. My favorite had to be the crispy mushroom hand roll (reminded me of a spider roll) along with the spicy lumaconi pasta (creamy and vibrant without feeling heavy!) Also for someone who is not a fan of pumpkin, the pumpkin cheesecake definitely took me by surprise. This definitely was a seasonal special, but I cannot stop raving about this to everyone I know & so wish it was on the menu all year round! Everything about the experience here was amazing. The servers were attentive, explaining every aspect of the menu and constantly checking in to see if there was anything they could do to make the dining experience better. Can't wait to take all my friends and family here so they can change their perception on vegan food!

Yelp
Came during their late night Happy Hour and it did not disappoint! The restaurant has a lovely welcoming aesthetic. They offer indoor, outdoor, and bar seating. We sat at the bar and the bartender was pleasant and fast. For drinks I got the Lychee Paloma which was quite refreshing, my partner got a beer. For food we ordered the Firecracker Wings and 3 Hand Rolls. All the food was good, however I personally couldn't distinguish which roll was which. Highlight of the night was THE BIG COOKIE. The BIG Cookie is indeed big and so decadent! Hard to believe it is vegan. Would come again just for this!

Yelp
This was an amazing experience! The food was amazing. It wasn't your average vegan food, it was creative and imaginative! The atmosphere was great! The staff was amazingly friendly and provided excellent service. This is a great spot for a date, celebration, or just a nice meal!

Yelp
I'm far from a vegan, but this place was on my list and everything was delicious! For starters, we ordered the Ahi Watermelon, Bang Bang Broccoli (my fav), Red Dragon maki roll, the House Burger (I know basic), and the Japanese Steak. I was mostly fascinated with the Japanese steak, because it looked exactly like steak! Could've fooled me lol. Service was great. Our server was very patient since it was our first time and we asked a few questions as we navigated the menu and he made some great recommendations. I would return again and try other things off the menu. Cute vibe and first date approved!

Yelp
Enjoyed my meal here! The pasta and pizza was solid, the sauces were very good. Sushi was good too but not as worth it. I will say the roll that I had did taste like regular sushi! The interior is beautiful as well.

Yelp
I would say a 4.5/5! The food is very good and memorable. My partner and I got an array of different dishes: Crispy Rice 10/10 Spinach & Artichoke Dip 8/10 Chi'kn Mushrooms 8/10 Chorizo Pizza 9/10 Key Lime Pie 10/10 (Must Try!) The service was attentive, but very slow. The ambiance is boho chic and relaxed. I would come here with a friend on a weekday.

Yelp
Location is easy to get to in Brooklyn. Parking on the weekend was easy. Nice staff and hosts. Food was great. A couple of hitches in the kitchen with getting food out (explained that there was a calll out). They even comped us our dessert to make up for it. They were accommodating for our group. We had always gone to Planta Queen in flatiron, but recently it has been a bit more run down and provided less customer service so we tried this spot in Brooklyn. Had a good time - will go back!

Yelp
I have a friend in Atlanta that kept ranting and raving about this wonderful vegan restaurant in Atlanta I'm not visiting Atlanta anytime soon I was in New York for a brief period of time and I found that they had another location in Brooklyn so I decided to see what my friend was talking about. To first start off the facility is so beautiful it's very clean. The decorating aspects of the facility looks clean. I sat at the bar and the server told me about their $30 brunch cocktail menu which I truly enjoyed. I believe I had a lychee Paloma and a Hugo. These cocktails were very light not too sweet and if you order three or more you get a bang for your buck. So, my friend wanted me to try the sushi roll which was called torched and press. Now it is rice with avocado and a miso truffle. I cannot explain how mouthwatering the flavor combinations were I wasn't having I could not explain to you how beautiful the sushi roll was I decided to order another roll, which was the dragon roll. I believe that had Japanese, sweet potato, and avocado and gochujang mayo. This was a really good roll, but I would have to say the torched and press is my favorite. I really wish there was an a location in Orlando. I will be visiting plantany city that has one.

Yelp
Pretty pricey for some vegetables but it's good. I don't think the 1,000 potatoes are worth the price but the bang bang broccoli was really good. I would come back.

Yelp
Amazing, come here, so good. The rolls are the standouts but everything is good. This location is a little more casual and laid-back than the nomad location.

Yelp
Added my star back because WOW!!! Amazing food this time around and very tasty except for the feta dip that honestly just tasted like hummus Just check out the new pics

Yelp
Food was great for those who do not consume meat. Very flavorful and tasty. I would def bring my vegetarian friend here

Yelp
I was disappointed in this spot for takeout! The lettuce wraps with tofu and Brussels sprouts came with leafs that were barely big enough to fit a single piece of tofu. I wouldn't order it again.

Yelp
When my friend suggested we go to a vegan sushi restaurant, I had my doubts. I've had quite a bit of vegan food recently which I've enjoyed, but I have to admit I had my reservations. We ordered two rolls (Rainbow & Dragon Roll.) We also got the Bang Bang Broccoli and Spaghettini Carbonara. While the sushi rolls were not the same as non-vegan versions, they were both scrumptious. Each roll had such depth of flavors and textures. What I really appreciate about some of the vegan food I've had is the creativity and the thought that goes into each dish. It's not just vegetables thrown together. The two rolls we had really demonstrated that so well. I didn't taste the Bang Bang Broccoli because broccoli is not my friend. But I really loved the Spaghettini Carbonara. It's a simple dish with just 5 ingredients, but it was prepared exquisitely. It had the consistency and taste of regular carbonara without the regret. (Dairy is also not my friend.) The restaurant's ambiance is chill with low lights and a tropical theme. The tables are spaced far apart so you get a sense of being in your own little piece of paradise. Service was top notch. Our server answered our questions about menu items and cocktails. She suggested the rolls and the spaghettini. For a busy Friday night, servers were very attentive. Our food came out in a timely manner. Someone came by to check on us often enough without being intrusive. All in all, Planta was a splendid way to start our foodie adventure in New York,

Yelp
Gorgeous inside and outdoor seating. I was seated shortly and was able to have a table for 1. The food was phenomenal. They had a restaurant menu but I was not crazy about the desert options on it. The udon noodles were large enough to share with an additional dish. Or shared after appetizers. I will definitely come here again and it was worth the travel to this side of Brooklyn. I look forward to attending their brunch.

Yelp
Good for what was available! I visited Planta with a friend who maintains a soy free diet and I am gluten free. We were really excited to try Planta until we arrived and realized the options were not expansive for us. The menu is quite limited for people with soy restrictions. It's quite annoying that none of the sushi options are soy free. Also, for the pizzas, there are vegan soy-free cheeses. Planta should really consider expanding the offerings to be more inclusive. On top of these issues, they were out of pineapple for the two cocktails I wanted to try and they were out of banana pudding which they were promoting as the April special. Aside from all of that, the restaurant ambiance is very lovely and the staff were friendly. However, none of the front of house staff could answer our questions about the menu and ingredients (items containing gluten or soy). It took a long time to order because every we questions we had, the server had to go to the back to ask the kitchen staff. I ended up ordering the bang bang broccoli and the chicken mushrooms. Both were delicious but I didn't fully enjoy my meal and experience given all of the items that were unavailable due to lack materials or our dietary restrictions. I was so thrown off that I didn't even take pics of the items I did receive.

Yelp
We came here for my daughter's bday. I made the reservation to say it was for a bday but they didn't see it because they didn't have anything for dessert and I couldn't get the waiter on the side before hand. The restaurant looks great. The design is super fun and trendy. It feels really nice. I'd love to come back on a girls night or a date. But my kids also felt super welcome. The kid menu was really good. My kids were impressed with the selection. They're so use to non vegetarian menus they were spoiled for choice here. My kids loved the udon noodles and burger and ate it all. They also loved the watermelon sushi app. Though we had to order it again bc it's only 2 pieces and they wanted more. Everything is suggested to share which isn't my favorite thing. I got the salad for me but it comes with tongs to share. So it's huge and worth the price and my kids actually loved it anyway. The fake chicken pieces were good and they enjoyed the dressing. The only thing we didn't like were the summer rolls. They were mushy and the rice paper was overcooked, so they were falling apart and impossible to pick up. They had little flavor. But the manager took it off for us and they were very nice when I just mentioned we didn't care for it. For dessert we got giant cookie with the extra fee ice cream. That was very good. The banana pudding was alright. A bit dry but the whipped cream and sauce was good. I also noticed there was a January special menu that the host didn't give us at the start so we didn't notice those specials. Which was a bummer as they looked good. I really liked the food and we want to come back and try other things. It's so nice to be able to order absolutely anything as a vegetarian.

Yelp
I had a fantastic time trying PLANTA for the first time with some friends. The plant-based dishes are not only delicious but also incredibly creative. The ambiance was great, and the service was top-notch. We all had a wonderful experience and are already looking forward to our next visit.

Yelp
Planta went down .... Unfortunately.... Service should receive zero stars . I won't waste my time writing anything else..

Yelp
First time trying this restaurant, it was nice and well placed with a nice atmosphere. I was greeted well and placed at the bar to wait for my other guests to arrive. Immediately the bartender offer me a menu and or something to drink as a wait. Once seated the waitress immediately introduced herself asked our preferences. I ordered the bang bang broccoli and the SPICY LUMACONI PASTA with the spicy sauce on the side in case to spicy. Food was served timely and was delicious, take it from this conniver. I would it there again to enjoy vegan food.

Yelp
great late-night spot. service is always fast and friendly. i'm not vegan so i always ask for real cheese on my fake chicken and they're always happy to oblige. def one of my fav bodegas in the city

Yelp
This is my second Planta location and second time going, each time I love it. Easy to make reservation day of and happy hour deals are pretty good with some food half off what they originally were. The best thing about this place is that even though the food is all vegan you cannot tell. Great vegan food that tastes even better than the real versions sometimes. In fact, I prefer the spicy tuna rolls to real ones'. Overall nice vibes inside, lots of natural light and outdoor seating options. There was a mix up in our order and they let us keep the mistake for free and were super nice about it. Loved all the food we got and would always come back!

Yelp
Please bring back the original Caesar salad!! It was amazing. New recipe with kale doesn't hit like that. I dream about that salad...please. Thank you.

Yelp
Arrived w/o reservations but was seated quickly on a slow Sunday evening. I ordered the Chick'n Fried Mushroom and Bao Slider. My friend ordered the Firecracker roll (an April special!) and Spicy Lumaconi Pasta. Embarrassed my photo of the firecracker roll turned out to be shaky as heck, but it was somewhat good. Definitely a bit spicy. I enjoyed my bao slider more than the chick'n fried mushrooms-- I should have asked for mayo alongside the chili sauce they included! My friend couldn't finish their spicy lumaconi pasta which to me was quite good! Spice was very mild but delicious flavor. I also wish I could have put the remaining sauce into a container to take home. Finished off with the key lime cheesecake which is ok! Crust had a coarser grit than what I'm used to and the cheesecake did have a very slight grainy texture but it was decent as a vegan version. All in all, a good meal.

Yelp
Planta in the Williamsburg section of Brooklyn is a Plant-Based restaurant that has delicious tasting vegan food. After visiting Shobha, the reservation for dinner at Planta was welcomed. It was a nice short walk to Planta Williamsburg after I briefly visited Domino Park & took some gorgeous pictures. We met at Planta by their bar area & the hostess took us to our table. I took a look around and viewed their nice interior, bar area, and overall indoor dining room set-up. Planta Williamsburg is chic & elegant w/ a laid-back vibe. Plants Williamsburg has one floor w/ clean bathroom facilities as we as gorgeous plants & lighting fixtures. Staff are attentive & friendly at this location, and they come consistently come around to check on customers, which promotes great service. We both had "Mez-Cal Me Maybe" cocktails, which I have enjoyed previously at the Planta Quuen Nomad location. "Mez-Cal Me Maybe" Cocktail- Mezcal, Ginger, liquer Passionfruit & Lime has a powerful, refreshing taste, + it went down smoothly. We both enjoyed our entress as Planta makes good food w/ the freshest ingredients. The Spaghetti Carbonara and the Spucy Chorizo Pizza were both fabulous. Website - plantarestaurants.com Instagram - @planta Hours of Operation - Mon. - Thurs. 11.30am - 10pm Fri. - Sat. 11:30am - 11pm Sun. - 11am - 10pm

Yelp
Celebrated my birthday here adored it. I've been to the nomad location so was really excited when the Williamsburg location opened. On my birthday, the service was excellent. Every server that stopped by our table was personable, warm and genuine. The GM (I think! Forgot her name) came by and she was so sweet. The food was spectacular and everything we tried was amazing. We ordered the: Bao sliders Bang bang broccoli Torched and pressed Eggplant Creamy Udon Noodles with Truffle Dragon Roll 1000 Layered potatoes Cheesecake And a few more I can't remember So why not 5 stars? I knocked off a star because I was so enamored that I came back a week later solo because I'd been craving the 1,000 layered potatoes among other things and I opted for bar seating. The service was unfortunately sub par at the bar and almost even frustrating. I sat unattended for a few minutes then was asked by the bartender if I was waiting for a table. After i said that I wasn't, I waited a few more min to order. He took my drink order and before I could add my food order he was gone. A couple came and sat next to me and I briefly left to wash my hands. By the time I came back they'd both received their drinks and placed a food order. I asked to place a food order and also asked for water. He took my food order then disappeared to what looked like the kitchen. I asked the other bartender for water and she was sincere and apologetic. It does kind of suck that my second visit wasn't as magical as the first because now I don't feel particularly pressed to rush back. I will be back but it makes me reconsider showing up solo for bar seating.

Yelp
I've been to the Planta in DC and loved it so I was excited to come to Planta NYC. This Planta in brooklyn has a more italian-inspired menu while the manhattan location is heavier on Asian dishes. All of the cocktails and wine at our table were solid, the "Lych Please" is my personal favorite. The bang bang broccoli is great, I order this every single time. The leek bianca pizza was a 10/10, both my non-vegan friends were amazed by how rich and creamy it was without any dairy. The udon noodles also had such a rich truffle flavor, a really great dish to try, especially if it's your first time here. The spicy lumaconi pasta was not remarkable, the sauce didn't have much dimension outside of the chili flavor. The cashew mozzarella that was supposedly in it was undetectable. Now for dessert -- there's a seasonal special in June for key lime pie. If you're lucky enough to grace the restaurant when this special is going, get it. It was so ridiculously good -- it was creamy, tangy and somehow both light and rich. I'm going to dream about this for a while. Also tried the brownie sundae that was just okay, the brownie itself was crumbly and not very fudgy. Overall, while there are a couple dishes that have room for improvement, what's good is phenomenal and and I'm always left wanting to come back here ASAP.

Yelp
The inside is modern industrial with art deco accents. To me it's very visually appealing especially the bar area. The bartender was kind and that mezcal maybe drink is delicious!! They also had a good music playlist going in the background. To be honest everything we had tasted so good. Being a full on carnivore did not miss the meat at all. Everything was a surprise of deliciousness. We started of with the crispy rice and it was so good. The bit of crunch with sweet and savory notes. The dumplings also very flavorful. The spicy chorizo pizza was surprisingly very tasty, I should've asked for crushed red pepper flakes. Only because I like spicy spicy Overall this was a great experience and I do recommend A+
google avatar

Milan S.

Yelp
Their sushi selections have me in a blissful chock hold. They are so fresh, flavorful, and the dragon rolls have had me ask myself, "Am I sure that there's no meat in these?!" I also love that they have accommodations and a wide array of delicious options for gluten free folks. The pizzas are delicious too, they have gluten free crust available, and they don't leave me feeling weighed down and sluggish. I haven't been to the physical location yet, so I can't speak about the vibes, staff or service but the food via delivery travels well.

Yelp
I've been here twice, and both times I can say did not disappoint. I came here once for Brunch and another time for the Power Lunch with a friend. For Brunch, we got a wide variety of food, and everything we got was delicious. The french toast in particular was incredibly delicious, and we also got some other things to try like the Leek Bianca and the Spicy Lumaconi Pasta. Everything was got was delicious. My friend and I also decided to partake in the bottomless brunch, where we went back and forth between the mimosa and the seasonal sake sangria which were both well made and tasty. Our service, both when I went for lunch and for brunch was phenomenal. For lunch, I got the bang bang broccoli (clearly my favorite!), the spicy lumaconi pasta and the cookie was a vegan chocolate chip cookie which was delicious. Both times that I went, it must have been off times because there was plenty of seating available and it wasn't busy at all. The vibe of this place is definitely hip, and restaurant was comfortable. Clearly, I would go back here because I already have.

Malorie M.

Yelp
Horrible service despite not being busy during Saturday night. Sat at the bar, no water was served until we asked for it TWICE. Placed order and had no silverware or plating, had to go get it myself from the empty seat next to me. Food was disappointing. The spicy ricatoni pasta was the worst, tasted like microwaveable pasta with sriracha placed over it, quite sad to see that a dish of this poor quality is served as an entree. Either way, have heard good things about this place but do not recommend and will likely never return.

Yelp
This review is for dinner. I will preface this review by saying that I am an AVID carnivore and dairy lover. I was very curious about this place though. I will say, I was pleasantly surprised! Will I become a vegan, not likely, but I'd definitely come back here. Ambiance / Service: came on a weeknight and it was pretty crowded. It's trendy, but where it feels cool, yet you can show up in sweatpants and feel fine. Our server was great. The person I dined with is allergic to red pepper flakes and the server checked the menu with the kitchen and circled every dish we should avoid. Food: this is coming from a non-vegan. Overall I enjoyed, some dishes more than others. -Crispy Rice: comes with five pieces. This was a HIT. The best thing we ordered. I literally couldn't tell the difference and would order this again even if I wasn't at a vegan place. -Bao Slider: I enjoyed this. The mushroom did NOT exactly mimic meat, so don't anticipate that. But the mushroom was flavored nicely. -Avocado Lime Tartare: so I enjoyed this, but the other person did not. Only order if you like beets. The beets did NOT mimic tuna tartare at all (it tastes and feels like you're eating beets). -Margherita Pizza: this was good - the second best thing we ordered. The "cheese" has a different consistency which took some getting used to, but overall this tasted just like a margherita pizza. -Spaghetti Carbonara: we both were not fans of this and did not finish. It needed more salt and seasoning. We also perhaps unfairly were anticipating flavors of traditional carbonara and it did not taste even remotely like it. I'm not even sure it should be called Carbonara, maybe more like "mushroom pasta".

Yelp
All the food was awesome EXCEPT the chorizo pizza *sad face*. It was such a bummer but the pizza didn't have much flavour and wasn't even close to competing to all the amazing pizza joints around. But aside from that, the rest of the food was delicious. My favourite was the crispy rice (5/5). We also got the Thai lettuce wraps (4.5/5) and the bar buns (3.5/5). The spicy pasta (4/5) was also great. They offer many juices, I tried I Dream of Greenie which wasn't the most appealing colour but it was tasty. The design of the place is also very nice. I would come back to try more stuff! I saw they offer bottomless brunch but I didn't partake...this time.

Yelp
As someone who isn't even vegan, food was sooo delicious. The staff was so sweet and the vibes in there are very modern and inviting. Lovely place

Yelp
Had to downgrade my review from last time. This time we went for dinner, and we have mixed feelings about this place. To start with, we were really excited to try the dinner in such a place where the brunch had been phenomenal last time. We ordered a couple of aperol spritzes for the table. Little did we know that these drinks would only arrive after we finished all 4 (yes all 4!) of our main/appetizers and are ready for dessert. The food was still good. But the service was terrible. The person who was waiting our table was actually doing just about 3 tables in our row. And she was just occupied chatting with the people in one table about various things ranging from credit scores, soft/hard pull, her family, etc. This went on for over 30 minutes while the table next to us looked at us very confused and went like "Can we ask for someone else for our tables? Doesn't look like she is coming back to take our orders" Meanwhile our drinks were ready at the bar and sitting on the bar-counter waiting to be picked up and delivered to our table. At one point, about the time our final course was delivered by the staff, we thought about walking over to the bar and bringing it back to our table ourselves - we just didnt know if that was polite. So we waited. In short it came to our table at the same time that the dessert menu did. While we were discussing what we wanted for dessert the waiter went back to her favorite table to engage in another 20-30 minute chat. We decided to just close the tab and go somewhere else for dessert. Overall it just was a nice evening spoiled by sub-par service.

Yelp
I may have to go plant based more often! I had to remind myself that no animals were harmed in the making of this meal. The choices were inventive and delicious. This location is fairly new and beautifully decorated. Spacious interior and confy seating. The staff was friendly and checked on our table often. We tried the wipped ricotta with hot honey and warm bread...the ricotta was soo good. Next we tried the bang bang brocolli (our seemed burnt) however, i saw its potential. They were tasty and came with a peanut sauce. The dragon roll was mind blowing, the chirizo pizza was different not my fav. The spicy pasta however was spot on!

Yelp
Heads up, I'm not a vegan, I eat meat and dairy. I decided to do a Saturday evening walk in to Planta with a group of 3. We were seated at the bar which the bartender was extremely responsive and attentive despite being busy. While I'm glad I tried this place, I wouldn't immediately return due to the price of the food given it being a vegan restaurant. - Crispy rice sushi: It was a hit, who doesn't like crispy rice? - Spicy lumacoti pasta: although a little spicy, the flavors weren't too impressive - 1000 layer potatoes: delicious and texture was great - Baos Sliders: enjoyed this a lot - Bang bang broccoli: The sauce wasn't too overpowering but it's just broccoli with sauce - Mushroom skewers: tasty - Pizza: the sauce was a little bit more on the salty side Drinks: we had probably 7 drinks between the three of us (Martinis and wjne) Total bill $300 (after tip) for 3 people

Yelp
Congratulations to @planta for opening their new location in Williamsburg, and thanks for having me for the soft opening! I wish I tried more dishes (regretting already), but my favorites from this meal were the watermelon nigiri and the pizza. These were definitely not what I expected myself to like the most, so it was a pleasant surprise!

Yelp
First time visiting Planta and honestlyyyy, the food was incredible. The food and drinks were delicious. Came here for a cute little date night with an old friend. We ordered like seven things. The udon noodles were the star of the show. The flavor was sooooo memorable and rich in the best ways. The vibe was perfect for a later weekday date in Williamsburg and the location is clutch, being so close to the water and VIEWS. I just found out there's one not too far from me and I'll def have to make my way there.

Yelp
Planta Queen never disappoints! I love their NoMad location and decided it was time to head to the Williamsburg one. By far one of the best vegan brunch spots! We got the Whipped Ricotta to share, the French Toast, the Lettuce Wraps, and the Leek Bianca Pizza. All were amazing! The French Toast was the PERFECT french toast. It wasn't too sweet, had a nice tangy raspberry jam and sweet coconut whipped cream on top. The toast was bread with cornflakes so it was crispy and fluffy. The Ricotta was amazing too, with a drizzle of a lavender syrup. I also ordered the Vietnamese coffee, which was delicious, but I was a little disappointed by the portion (too much ice, not enough coffee). Our server was super sweet and very attentive. I love the aesthetic of the restaurant. It's a very comfortable location to meet with friends to catch up. Will definitely be back, I'm eager to try out the dinner menu here (have my eyes on the thousand layer potatoes) Must have: French Toast, the best brunch meal in my opinion (perfect amount of sweetness to start your day), Whipped Ricotta, the perfect dish to share. The damage: around $115 for 3 people, 3 dishes, 1 shared plate, and 2 coffees.

Yelp
Maki Mondays! Unlimited vegan/vegetarian sushi for only $27 is a great deal! My friends and I ate so many plates of sushi that we were too full for desserts. The bang bang broccoli is also amazing and is a must try! The service is great like always filling your water and taking away empty plates, our server was also very encouraging and had good recommendation! The ambience is super chill and modern vibes with very clean bathrooms!! Pet friendly too, I noticed a very calm dog chilling while their owners enjoyed food and company.

Yelp
I ordered delivery and honestly it was really good. The food was so unique and I love that everything is plant based so as someone that doesn't eat caviar I can have that same or somewhat of the same experience. The pasta was good, different but not wow. BUT HOLY ISH! That crispy rice thing is INSANE. The flavor bomb!! Crispy Rice is a definitely must order. Also that 1000 layer potato is also perfection!! As for the carbonara I would try it but definitely hit the appetizers hard. Maybe I should have tried that broccoli ? Packaging was beautiful and my food arrived hot which is a plus thanks to Uber eats! Definitely order in or go there! Honestly it's like a 4 but those potatoes and crispy rice makes it a 5 and I feel like if you go eat in person it's probably even more insane considering my food was hanging out for a while to get to me.

Yelp
$18 for Fruits and veggies in their spicy tuna roll is ridiculous. It used to be cheaper. I have no clue what happened.

Yelp
A beautifully decorated restaurant with an expansive vegan menu featuring plenty of gluten-free options. In fact, the staff will notate the menu if you are avoiding gluten which is a nice touch. The broccoli is amazing, as are some of the cocktails and wines. Service is pretty attentive too. This is a newer location so I've always been able to get a table when walking in but as it grows in popularity this may no longer be the case. The East side location certainly is not like this. A great addition to the neighborhood.

Yelp
As always PLANTA never disappoints! To finally have a location closer than traveling to the city within NY is an A++. You do NOT have to be plant based to enjoy the deliciousness of PLANTA. My mom who is not a vegan, but conscious about the food she consumes LOVED IT. Ambiance is 10/10 as usual. This Williamsburg location is the perfect vibe for intimate dining. They did seem to switch up the menu items a bit, but nonetheless food/drinks are still impeccable! We ordered appetizers, entrees & 2 desserts. FYI: the spicy crispy rice & spinach artichoke dip is TO DIE FOR!! Wow... To make it even better our waitress Paige was super friendly, gave good recommendations & attentive to us. We sat for about 2 hours & were not rushed. Can't wait to try their brunch
