I've lived in the area since 2002, and after reading the reviews, I had to try Plantation Preserve out, for Sunday Brunch. I really enjoyed it. I got there just before they opened, and Mario, who was the host/server, said I could have a seat, that they'd be open in about 10 minutes. Once they opened, grabbed a cup of coffee. Contrary to other posts, it was hot and fresh. The dispenser was actually filled a few times during my visit. Orange Juice was cold and fresh. The bacon, sausage, grits were cooked well and not real hot, but hot enough. Nothing was cold or luke warm. I went for the Eggs Benedict, instead of having a custom made omelette, but they had not brought them out yet. Mario saw me looking at the empty self serving tray and said he'd be right back. He went in and had the cook make me one. That was impressive. they have lots of deserts as well as a good sized fruit tray , including Honeydew, Cantaloupe, Strawberries, Pineapple. .They serve other things as well. For the price and the service, you can't be beat. I don't know what the 18% service charge was for, it could be their way of calling it gratuity. I tipped Mario based on his service, which was very good. I sat and read the newspaper, and he, on occasion, asked how things were, and if I needed anything else. Other than that, I wasn't hurried by any means I was there about an hour and a half, and enjoyed my visit. By the time I left, the place was starting to fill up. I'll definitely be back there.
