The Eater SF Hangover Guide | Eater SF

"Enzyme-rich wheatgrass is a good starting point for post-party cleansing at Plant Cafe. Then move to the fresh-squeezed immune builder juice (carrot, apple, ginger, lemon) or body cleanser (carrot, apple, celery, lemon), whichever speaks to last night’s activities more." - Eva Frye

The lady was really nice and welcoming. I happened to be walking in this Embarcadero area and the shop looked interesting from the outside. Sometimes you don’t want to step in a store because you feel a bad vibe or kind of an angry expectation, but this one was not one of those stores and she was happy to let me meander around. The plants were really well cared for and I wanted to see if there were plants that I hadn’t ever seen before. They had a good variety and I found this multi colored coleus from Hawaii and another small beautiful plant where the leaves looked like hearts expanding every direction. I forgot the name but I bought it for home. ❤️ She knew the names of every plant and how to care for them, what environment they would do well in, which ones were harder to take care of, etc. She even offered a monthly service for taking care of orchid arrangements in offices or nearby businesses. It was a reasonable price! Some plants ranged to $400s because they were huge, but there are some as low as $7 and others moderately priced from $20-30. Look for the cactus in the tiny teacup if you get a chance to go into the store. It’s kind of a whimsical charm. Hope they continue getting lots of business because these plants are gorgeous, well loved and have good vibes! 🌺 🌼 🪴 🌱 💗

This store is a gem! It was so clean, the selection of plants were fantastic - they even sold cuttings! Everything looked so healthy and well-maintained. The prices were very reasonable. I wish I got the name of the person (shopkeeper?) that helped me out but they were knowledgeable and friendly. I’ll definitely be returning! :)

More eclectic plants I haven’t seen in other shops in the city. Kokedama-inspired planters too! Shop owner is super friendly.

This shop is a total hidden gem. Their selection of hard to kill plants in gorgeous pots is amazing and their knowledge on suitable plants and care instructions is exceptional. And the prices, I expected to pay twice as much! A new SF favorite

Such a cute plant store in Embarcadero. Lauren was so friendly and knowledgeable, she told me she and her husband hand make so many of the cute plantly decor! She also helped give advice on how to deal with my pesky spider mites!

What a fresh new addition to Embarcadero! There's an extremely diverse collection of plants here, from the mainstream to the super-rare. If you're looking for a specific plant or a planty gift, Plant'd is bound to have it in store. They also host cool events and workshops regularly. Definitely recommend stopping in if you're in the neighborhood.

Plant'd hosted a kokedama workshop for my team. All the plants were lovely, and our desks are so much greener and happier now. Thank you for the fun workshop!

Yelp
Did the terrarium workshop and Lauren was friendly and awesome! Great materials for each part of the build. She even accommodated us using up all of the jungle variety options she had laid out. Great activity for a party or work team building event!
