I was forwarded an eventbrite by a friend for their kids Halloween workshop. Our kids were classmates in Pre-K and this was an opportunity for them to meet up. When we bought our tickets, only a 1:30pm was available on Oct 19th. They then lied and sent our friends an email saying there was a scheduling conflict and the 1:30pm was no longer available. We never got such email. Our friends of course thought they were telling the truth in that there was no 1:30pm. We get there and ours friends weren't there. They were moved to 12pm and since we had no idea as we never got that email, we ended up not seeing each other after we drive at least 30 mins as we're not from the neighborhood. We are both very upset as planthouse really screwed up and lied. My kid missed soccer because we wanted to see our friends. Do better with your scheduling and capacity so you won't have to lie to customers. Pictured below is the 1:30pm workshop, with nearly a whole table in open capacity.

I was really excited to visit this very cute plant shop, especially for the DIY terrarium-making experience. I had a friend visiting from out of town who loves plants, so we made a reservation for 2:30 PM on a Friday. Unfortunately, the experience ended up being quite disappointing due to the lackluster customer service. From the moment we arrived, we were barely acknowledged by the staff. No one walked us through the process or offered any guidance, and throughout our visit, the staff seemed more engaged in their own conversations than in helping customers. When we tried to get their attention, it felt like we were interrupting them — overall, it gave the impression that our presence was more of a nuisance than a welcome. At one point, my friend even considered walking out because she felt the energy and attitude of the staff completely soured the experience. Honestly, if we hadn’t already paid a deposit, we probably would have left. While I understand that the experience is meant to be DIY, we still expected at least a brief introduction or some basic direction to get us started. I was really looking forward to this outing and had even considered returning for one of their workshops in the future. In the end, I did enjoy making my terrarium and we did our best to have fun, but the lack of customer service left a bad impression. It’s unfortunate, because the concept is great — but I’m hesitant to return.

I recently brought three of my plants to PH for repotting, as they had clearly outgrown their containers. After a thorough discussion with a kind associate, we agreed on upsizing two of them into 8” and 6” pots, and leaving the third as-is, since it seemed fine in its current setup. I left feeling confident that my plants would be properly cared for. When I returned to collect them, I was shocked to find that all three had been repotted directly back into their original decorative ceramic pots — the same ones we agreed were too small. These pots also don’t have drainage holes, which is why I specifically keep my plants in plastic nursery pots inside the ceramics. Instead of receiving the service I went for, I got back three plants crammed into undersized containers with no drainage — a setup that risks their health. I’ve always frequented PH because I trusted their plant knowledge and felt supported as a less experienced plant owner. That trust is now gone and I doubt I’ll be visiting again.

Let's get into this review! First things first, sangria! 2 red sangrias 1 Sprite I've been before but my sons had not. The oldest (38) and the youngest (17) came along for my shenanigans. We arrived super early for our reservations but were okay to start a little early. After carefully selecting our terrariums and the airplants, we were ready to start designing. We put on our design caps and got started. We encouraged one another and chatted about "the look" we were aiming for. Here's the final look...

🌵This was a cool spring break outing! Initially I thought it might be boring for someone who doesn't have a 💚 👍 green thumb but to my surprise, it was really fun. The staff is very polite. Ian was our instructor who informed us how to put the plant terrarium together. They have so many plant options, vases, and fillers to choose from. The place itself just gives off happy vibes. We enjoyed ourselves and next time will do this as a group outing. They do offer walk-ins (that's what we did) and they have Plant & Wine workshops as well.

I've been here plenty of times before. I came to a kids' Halloween workshop where they were able to build their own little terrarium. It's a cute plant shop with a couple of tables in the middle where they host the workshops and also any DIY projects if you decide to create something when you stop by. There are instructors that are there to help you while you do a DIY project. They also sell mimosas, wine, and beers so you can enjoy while planting. If you just stop in and not create anything, there are plenty of plant options to look at and purchase. From planters to succulents, cactus, and other exotic plants. Cute shop and planning on attending another one of the workshops to create something else!

It was amazing! We had Mahogany host the event and she did a fabulous job. I was trying to take a Timelapse with my phone and she brought out their tripod for me to use. She helped everyone pick out things and gave great instruction as well as the women working with her. It was an amazing time and I cannot wait to come back.

WOW! The PlantHouse was amazing! I purchased tickets for the Terrarium Building class and it was beyond my expectations. The instructors were helpful, great overall experience. Tickets were $25 on Eventbrite. Thank you for a wonderful experience!

Yelp
PlantHouse is a great shop to both buy and build plants! Stopped by for a work event where we built our own terrariums. It was such a cool experience! You pick your desired vase and get to filling it with stones, dirt, plants and other accent pieces. Of course, you receive great guidance from the amazing staff. They let you know what plants can be selected and how many should be used. Additionally, they have a large variety of plants that you can purchase for very reasonable prices. They also have candle making classes with a variety of candle scents to choose from. I would recommend PlantHouse for all of your plant needs from start to finish. They also have all of the necessary items to start, grow and keep your plants thriving and alive! Or take an amazing class here and bring home a masterpiece! Located in Dilworth on Park Road, PlantHouse is a great place! Get there today for all your plant needs!

Yelp
100% recommend going to plant house whether it's for pal to or for building a terrarium or making candles. This was such a cute activity! My friend and I created a terrarium. There are many succulents and air plants to choose from. There are different sizes and a ton of decorations. Staff were patient and wonderful! The ambiance was calm especially being around so many plants!

Yelp
If you're looking for something fun to do with friends or loved ones, definitely check out the PlantHouse. My friend and I stopped by for a bring-your-own-container terrarium class hosted by the PlantHouse. The class was simple, easy, and fun. Loved the idea of turning something unconventional into a cute planter. Our teacher was also very friendly, warm and overall just had a nice vibe about him. He explained everything really well. Inside: The store is decently sized. One side is for classes/events and the other side has tons of plants, planters, and other goodies that you might need. Parking: PlantHouse is a part of a larger shopping center so there's plenty of free parking right in front.

Yelp
Stumbled across this neat little shop after finding out our other spot stopped offering diy bouquets. I'm so glad we found it. Great spot for a girls outing, date or mother-daughter(s) outing. Me and my oldest enjoyed the experience and I plan to revisit with my youngest daughter. Also it has a wine bar that offers spritzers, beer, mimosas, mocktails and more. Service was great, they were very helpful and we spent $45. Prices range from $15+

Yelp
I love it here. The staff is always so friendly and knowledgeable. I've bought plants and brought on sick babies. They educated me and checked roots. As a new plant mom it was helpful. They have a huge array of plants.

Yelp
So much fun!!! My best friend and I took the melted terrarium class last night and it was really cute! You put down a deposit and it goes towards the size of the terrarium you choose. There were 4 different sizes to choose from, and every terrarium is different as far as the shapes. It's melted glass on top of driftwood. Then you can choose from air plants or succulents/cactus. You head off to a table and may be mixed with strangers, but that was fun! We had a great table. The instructions were given clearly by the staff, advised us of all the drinks available (alcohol is served), what the plants were, and just helping in general. They had a bunch of plants, rocks, and decorations to choose from on the tables. Playlist was also on point!

Yelp
I have followed this place on instagram for a few years. I live out of state so I was excited to be in CLT for the week. This was at the top of my list. Parking is super easy. I wasn't greeted when I walked in or even acknowledged by anyone while I was there. Not a huge deal. But once I started looking at the plants.... the prices are absolutely insane. Like 2020 prices. A 4in pot, variegated frydek was $90?? I just paid $35 for one at a farmers market in Florida last month. I was about to purchase a marble queen pothos and it was almost $50. The shop is cute but the prices caused me to walk out empty handed. I would encourage them to do market research. It's not 2020 anymore.

Yelp
Found my new happy place! Service here is awesome, the staff is very helpful and friendly. Took a workshop with some coworkers and it was fantastic. Loved the plant selection and pots, and that they repot for you before you take your plant home. Great prices and value for the quality of plants. We will be visiting often!

Yelp
Honestly not what i was expecting. It was nice but i was hoping for more pots as well as plants. They had a very cute crafty area but it took up more than half the store. so there weren't many plants/pots! The people in there were nice but they were mostly just taking to each other. And about the pricing of the plants, it wasn't bad for what you're getting. you know you're getting a healthy well taken care of plant
google avatar

Yelp
Came here on a date to build terrariums! Fun selection of air plants, cacti, and succulents plus decor. Seemed like a good value- price is dependent on terrarium size. The employees were helpful and encouraging as well!

Yelp
In need of something fun to do this weekend? The Plant House is the perfect place for any type of event or if you're looking for unique plants to spruce up your place! They've got tons of different options and the space is an absolute vibe. We stopped in for a birthday and made our own terrariums and for the price it's an absolute steal. Highly recommend stopping in soon!
google avatar

Yelp
Great selections and good variety of plants to design your own terrarium. It's $25 to reserve a spot and your down payment to a terrarium. I did succulents with decorations. You can reserve a spot by paying online. Wee went on a weekend and it was busy, so I think reservations are a good idea. There are candle making options too. Nice staff and fun activities for friends or family or even a date!

Yelp
PlantHouse is the cutest! Truly a little spot in heaven. When you walk in, plants are everywhere!! This place is mainly indoor plants (which some could tolerate outdoors depending on the season) and the space really feels like an oasis. Plants are labeled pet friendly, easy to maintain, etc. They are definitely pricey! That said, plants, especially indoor plants, tend to be pricey, so it's pretty fair. In addition to selling plants, they also host classes. These range in activity, all pertaining to plants, but change seasonally and are led by the staff. I really enjoyed the moss wreath class that I made, though could have used some more guidance or technique examples. (For context, I'm not particularly creative or artsy! But I always enjoy activities and spending time with friends). Finally they have a little bar with some beer and wine that varies based on season. So cute! And helps with the creativity. Overall an enjoyable space. I love popping in for inspiration and look forward to browsing more

Yelp
I had a great time at Planthouse. I signed up for the "Succulents & Sangria" class. The vibe of the store was on point. It was a chill, relaxing and boho feel. I loved the R&B music playing in the background. The staff was friendly and attentive. The instructor ( I forgot his name) was informative, helpful & involved. I would definitely recommend & participate in other workshops. The store had a wide variety of plants for sale, many I've never seen before.

Yelp
I'm obsessed! So obsessed that the thought of pitching a tent in the back and just living in there crossed my mind more than once. As soon as I opened the door, my eyes got big and honestly I was instantly amazed. This store feels more like a home full of plants which I just cannot get enough of! I obviously grabbed a glass of rose while I shopped around which made things more fun. I literally walked the aisles probably 10 times up and down just getting to know each little plant baby. The shelves are stocked full with every type of plant you can imagine. The grow light strips keep the plants healthy on their shelves but also it just creates the brightest most inviting atmosphere! If you're a newb, some of the shelves are labeled "beginner friendly" which makes it so easy to pick a plant that will work for you. I love their "exotic/rare plant" section and they even have a build your own terrarium station - no reservations required. They also have tons of plant accessories like stands, pots in all shapes and sizes, and hanging baskets. I purchased a gorgeous little pepperomia frost as well as a pot and I was pleasantly surprised that one of the staff members actually potted it for me before we left that day! 10/10 experience and I can't wait to go back. How many plants are too many to own? I'm going to need a bigger house for this.

Yelp
My BFF planned the most perfect housewarming gift at "Plant House Charlotte" to make our own plant arrangements. We had a timeeeee you hear me! It was such a cute spot and we cut up the entire time with our instructor Georgia lol. This is a IDEAL location for a date night or an evening out with your girlfriends!
google avatar

Yelp
OH MY GOSH! This place is so gorgeous and a perfect quick crafty activity. Don't miss this cool place amongst the greens.

Yelp
We booked a date night class and had so much fun! They offer wine and beer for purchase at a super reasonable price. (The wine kinda sucked tbh) I 100% recommend booking a workshop and or going in to make your own Tyrrhenian. They also sell plants, pots and other plant related items. The staff was so amazing and so friendly. I highly recommend this spot.

Kimberly D.

Yelp
My new baby! She so cute. I recently moved back to Charlotte and the Plant House has become one of my favorite places to go. This is the second plant i got in a month. I had some questions about plant care and a guy was very helpful with answering any questions I had. The prices are great for the value you get. Wish me luck on caring for this cutie!

Yelp
This place is sooo cool and located in Dilworth, south of Uptown. There's a ton of parking in this shopping center so no need to worry about that. They have events you can sign up for like building your own terrarium workshops and a Succulent and Sangria workshop! This is a perfect spot for a girls day or a date! They have all types of plants to purchase and so many fun pots to stick them in!! They also have little gifts you can purchase alongside.
google avatar

Conor M.

Yelp
I've been there a couple of times, today's visit was to purchase a housewarming present. The staff is friendly and knowledgeable and helped us to find the perfect one! We also found a pot and the staff transplanted the Hoya into its new home. We also quenched our thirst with a beer. They have a great selection of plants and pots from which to choose. I can't speak to the value as I don't purchase plants often, but I'd rather support this place over big box store, so to speak...there's nothing wrong with them, just prefer smaller and more local locations.
google avatar

Lauren G.

Yelp
It feels so relaxing as soon as you walk I the door. The staff always greet you and seem like very happy people. There is a bar where you can purchase things like wine and hard seltzers. I attended the Bonsai Workshop. It was such a good time. At the end of the class it was nice to see how everyone is so creative with their bonsai. Luckily I don't live close by because I would be there everyday and I would live in a house full of plants...which isn't a bad thing haha.
google avatar

Lea L.

Yelp
Pricey but great if you know what you want and want a nice pot to make it the perfect package. Great atmosphere and cute shop! Going again next week for a large birds of paradise w pot after moving my huge monstera and beautiful royal blue ceramic pot outside last week. They have drinks too... and fun coffee table style books...

Yelp
My daughter and I visited PlantHouse for the first time in October of 2021. We bought 3 plants. The plant nursery was a vibe! So many plants to choose from that varied in size & type. We've never cared for a plant before so this has been a fun experience for us so far. A month later we went back and got new homes for our little babies (new pots). When you purchase a pot, the staff members will repot them for you if you want. When you purchase your plant, they come in black plastic nursery pots with fresh soil. Being a new plant mom I didn't know too much about proper care but the staff members are all very friendly & knowledgeable. I've called a couple times since my first purchase & they've assisted me with any concerns. They use organic soil for the plants which is a plus! I've heard great things about Happy Frog soil & that's what they use. I'd say the plants are pretty reasonably priced but I don't have much to compare them to. The pots vary in price & are about the same price as you'd see on Amazon. Of course their selection on pots is limited but still very cute! I want to go back and build a PlantHouse one day. Oh, there's alcoholic drinks available for guests 21+.
google avatar

Eric A.

Yelp
So we came to this place for a DIY Workshop (with a flight). The place had an amazing vibe. However, the DIY experience was sort of like... here fend for yourself. I would have liked to have more of a "bring us together" and talk about the air plants versus succulents. There was barely any guidance to kick us off. Also, there was zero follow up with the adult beverages (which btw was included). They could have done a much better job in bring us into the fold as new caretakers of air plants or succulents. If you go to this, make sure you get them to give you your moneys worth.
google avatar

Amber M.

Yelp
I love this place. I drive by it a LOT and have always wanted to stop in for a new plant. Why I waited so long is ridiculous. They are so helpful and let me know where the type of plant I was looking for. I bought two pots and a new plant and they offer to pit the new plant for you if you're buying it in combo like that!! I love my new plant and I can't WAIT to go back...next week...for more plants...and pots...crap just take all my monies!!
google avatar

Chelsea R.

Yelp
This place is incredible! They have such a large selection of plants. You could build your own terrarium or just pick a plant and a pot. They will even pot your plant for you at checkout free of charge! Right when I walked in I knew I would be leaving with at least one plant! Can't wait to go back again!

Yelp
Was able to visit PlantHouse for a succulent workshop for my friend's birthday. It's soo beautiful inside with all the different plants. I love how they categorize by what kind of maintenance is needed (low light, high light, etc). When I arrived I was immediately greeted by the person who would be instructing the workshop. She had me to pick out 4 succulents from a table to pick a spot in the worship area that I'd like to work at. Since it was for my friend's birthday it was atleast 10 of us. She did mention that the class would be full today and the disclaimer on the site when you register is there is no guaranteed we'd all be together which was absolutely the case. I love the instructions we got which were simple to assemble my vase and plants and that it only needs to be watered once a month. They do have drinks if you are looking to sip while creating your terrarium. I will say the only con I had was with the larger tables, it was hard to reach the necessary items with where the items were stationed on the table which was a little frustrating and chaotic. I would definitely return again though and just do a walk in and create my work plant in a vase.

Yelp
I was so in love with Planthouse but after a recent visit they lost a lot of respect from me. I came with a group of 10+ for the terrarium build at 6pm. This was the first night they began their workshop classes and they wanted the groups to be 16yrs old plus. I had a 7yr and a 12yr in our group. I always knew the terrarium area to be first come first serve and that you didn't need reservations. Well they were sticking to the need of a reservation. They supposedly wanted a date night vibe. While waiting for the rest of my group to arrive and see how they wanted to proceed, Issac notified us that they had made a call and the CEO (I believe that's what he said) okayed it for our group to do the terrarium build. I was appreciative that they took time to accommodate us. The issue was that my friends heard the employees talking about our group while she was shopping the houseplants and the majority of the employees had a nice nasty attitude the rest of our time there. The only other name of an employee that I remember was Bella. The terrarium build area is fun but definitely overpriced. I love the ability to create all kinds of terrariums and the items they have available to decorate the terrariums. The glass options they have are superb. I just hope they work on their customer service and the way they speak to their customers. Planthouse 2452 Park Rd Ste D Charlotte, NC 28203 Friday July 2, 2021 6pm (Review 562 overall, 106 in the 2021)

Yelp
Such a great concept.. but soooo overpriced! I love the boutique vibe here, not the price tag that matches it. It's a very popular store. The majority of plants are on the small side.. I didn't see any floor plants. I saw an abundance of small succulents and air plants. There are a variety of plant holders and ceramic pots that are very on trend. This place has regular workshops (for instance to build your own terrarium), I may be interested in the carnivorous plant one. If you care about a plant with a designer price tag or are interested in a workshop, come here. If you want the same plant for literally 50% less try Home Depot or Lowe's.
google avatar

Emilie W.

Yelp
I saw this place on tiktok and knew I had to check it out! I loved it the second I walked in! They had a ton of plants and different type of pots, the staff was walking around if you had any questions and they would even pot your plant for you! They had a class section that you could join anytime you wanted. Such a fun spot!

Mateo M.

Yelp
I've been by here several times, and heard about the plant workshops they put on, so I finally stopped in too see what PlantHouse was all about. I will say the vibe here is very friendly, and it feels like a hip, trendy place to find all manner of plants for your house, however most of the actual items for sale are definitely much more expensive than what you could get at a Lowes or Home Depot. I have quite a few of the same plants offered for sale here that I have purchased from both of those stores for half or even a third the price, so you definitely pay a premium for the slight convenience of shopping here. That's fine though, and I admire the ability to provide a friendly locale and sell houseplants in a convenient way. Also the workshops look really interesting, especially the carnivore plant experience, so I might pop in for that. Not a bad place, just not my cup of tea(at least for houseplant needs). I would recommend coming here, seeing what you like, and then popping over to the Lowes one mile away and doing a comparison before making any purchases.

Yelp
Very dope spot for everything plants. Located in the Dilworth neighborhood in a pretty stable and popular strip. PlantHouse lives up to its name with all types of plants imaginable. Various sizes, shapes, and designs of pots available as well. You can also find books, candles, and other novelty items related to plants. They offer a large section dedicated to creating your own terrarium (in sessions), where they give you a terrarium to choose from, then you put together what you want in it. Another great thing about them is the bar where they serve alcohol, tea, or coffee while you shop or wait for your "create your own" session. Great place for dates. The staff was very kind and helpful and were always there for questions or assistance. Highly recommend.

Yelp
I just recently hopped onto the quarantine green thumb craze and I have never been so excited! (I blame this place) The staff at Plant Bar are friendly and readily available to answer all of my ridiculous questions! They give me recommendations and tips on how to keep my plants thriving. If I chose something they do not think would work out well, they will let me know and give me an alternative option. I have been coming every other week and bringing as many friends as possible to check this place out. Even if you do not enjoy plants, the interior itself is beautiful to look at. They have quite the variety! I appreciate that they take your temperature before going in, as well as enforce a maximum occupancy so that customers are able to safely social distance inside. All staff members are also wearing masks. Keep it up

Yelp
I came to PlantHouse today for some plant therapy hoping to boost my spirits. The ladies in Plant House took good care of me. They were friendly and very knowledgeable. I got new soil for an old plant I brought in. They have $5 margaritas to sip while you shop. I picked out a cute little succulent and pathos hanging basket (something easy to maintain). The ladies made sure I signed up to get 10% off my purchase today. It was the ultimate retail therapy.

Yelp
Heard about the Plant Bar and had to check it out. In the Dilworth area of Charlotte this is a place that's different. They have plants everywhere. The shop it's self is beautiful. So many options to create one of a kind plant arrangements or find a gift that you may see. Lots of instructions and the staff are very knowledgeable. I appreciate they separate the plants into different sections so if you want to be sure the plant you are buying is pet friendly you can easily make a selection. If you like succulents you can create a nice table arrangement as well. I'm looking forward to when they begin offering classes. You have to check this place out. Nice addition to Charlotte.

Yelp
I took my friend here for the Kokedama workshop for a belated birthday present because she's plant obsessed and we had such a great time! The place is beautiful, calming, light, and airy. We browsed plants until the workshop. I'm not sure about the cost of plants but I thought the prices on their pots were super reasonable. I got 4 pots all less than $20 - pots I've seen other places for double the price. My friend even commented on how reasonably priced everything was. The workshop was so fun and perfect for a friend date with your best bud. Bri was so nice and helpful while leading the workshop. She was really knowledgeable and walked around helping people with their projects (like me because I suck at DIY stuff). The result: a beautiful Kokedama that's now hanging on my balcony! For $25, I thought it was a great deal for a fun activity and a plant you get to keep! Planthouse hosts various workshops at different price points. Some workshops are for kids while others can be adult beverage-themed. Will definitely be back to try others!

Yelp
My best friend and I had been discussing this new spot, PlantBar and today we finally decided to go check it out. It's official, I'M A PROUD PLANT MOM!! I purchased one 4" Peperomia Obtusifolia 'Variegata' and one 6" Aglaonema Silver Bay. I spent about $37. Employee Daniel assisted us. He is very knowledgeable, patient and kind. Cool vibe and tons of beautiful healthy plants to choose from. We visited on a Saturday morning. It was kinda busy. Everyone including employees wore face coverings. They also have a hand sanitizer station upon entering.

I really enjoyed my experience here today and I absolutely love PlantHouse (switching from bar to house), but I'll give an honest review of why I gave it only 3 stars. I would say 3.5 actually. Due to covid protocols, patrons stand in line outside and wait for their turn to enter the business. Myself and a friend stood in line for about 30-35 minutes and they provided some hot cocoa for those of us waiting outside (marshmallows included). Not too bad, but I noticed multiple times where customers exited the store and rather than the next two walking in, we had to continue to wait outside for someone to notice there were less people in there and then finally let more people in. Obviously unavoidable in certain circumstances, but when it's 30° 2 minutes can mean a long time, so bring a warm coat. I'd definitely recommend going during slightly less busy hours if you don't want to stand outside in line (especially in the cold). Then, moving to the inside there are an overwhelming amount of plants and pots in all different shapes and sizes, but if you take a closer look it's relatively most of the same plants and pots to choose from. They have a decent selection of air plants, some calatheas, peperomias, various types of pothos, and some larger plants I didn't pay attention to. Cortney helped me out and was nothing short of super. I was really happy with their knowledge of plants and learned a lot in our short 5 minutes. They helped me find what I needed and it was lovely chatting with them. If you buy a plant and a pot here, then at checkout they will pot the plant with you and they add additional drainage at the bottom with rocks so your plants do not develop root rot. While that's a really cool feature to the store, I definitely wouldn't come back unless I was doing the terrarium building workshop as you can find most of the plants, (similar) pots and soil at other stores in Charlotte.

Yelp
This place gives me LIFE !! It's beautiful inside with endless greenery from beginner to advance plants. The staff is VERY helpful and knowledgeable, we just did a walk-in DIY plant terrarium and it was a fun experience. Would recommend, but it is a bit pricey

Yelp
Great selection of plants, knowledgeable and friendly staff, and competitive prices! Felt like I walked into a fauna wonderland. Lush greenery, a warm welcome from all, and countless plant accessories worth adding to your plant collection. I stumbled upon a few wishlist plants and took home a wicked pot I couldn't leave. They offer a complimentary plant potting service and even though I didn't want to commit with the plants and pots I bought, that's a great option to take advantage of. You can bring in your own pot from elsewhere to plant their plants in with no hassle or question. Next time I'm up this way, I will visit again for sure!

Yelp
Took my daughter here as part of our girls day to build a terrarium. The staff was super friendly but they seemed pretty busy and wasn't able to be as hands on with us as I thought they would be. I booked a reservation and paid $25/pp which did go towards the total cost of the project. It was a nice, calming fun activity. I would recommend it. I also learned a little something about plants that I didn't know.

Yelp
Looking a fun DIY project to do in Charlotte? This place is great for a date, girl's day out or Funday with your family and friends. You can reserve a slot to build your own terrarium at a workshop or just stop in and pick out a plant for your home or office. Now the best part for me were the refreshing $5.00 mimosas while you build or shop. Open daily but I highly recommend planning ahead and scheduling a reservation especially on weekends.

Yelp
Although pretty pricey, it's worth the visit! Their plant vase are super cute and they have plenty of beautiful green babies to choose from. My boyfriend took me to PlantHouse to build a terrarium. It was my first time building one and it was such a great & exciting experience. All the staff were so kind and extremely helpful. They're very well educated in the plants and will answer all your questions. As a new plant mom, I had so many and they made me feel confident about my new journey. I was so excited that I didn't even get a chance to have a mimosa! I definitely recommend and would go again.

Yelp
Went to Planthouse to check it out and see what large plants they have for beginner plant parents. Mahogany (who was very helpful) recommended the "Bird of Paradise". I went to AtHome for the planters and came back and Mahogany repotted the plants for me. Love this store, good vibes, very friendly workers. Also some people were there to make their own terrariums in the store so that was cool. I'll definitely come back when I decide to get more plants for my collection. The bird of paradise that I purchased were very full, a lot fuller than I've seen online at other places. They were about $80 per plant. The shop is in a small shopping center and I went on a weekend in the morning so there was plenty of close parking.

Yelp
I'm disabled and walk with a cane. I tried to shop there yesterday and was told by an employee that I couldn't park in a designated disability parking space, because their truck "needed" every single one of the disability parking spaces it's illegal for them to use for that purpose. When I told the employee that those spaces are reserved for disabled customers, I was told that if I tried, the truck would back right up against my car and that I wouldn't be able to leave. Since the next closest open parking space was well outside of the distance I am able to walk without pain, the impact was to leave me unable to enter the store at all. I tried contacting them myself and was ignored. I had a disability advocate contact them, and she was treated horribly. There's no excuse, and reading their reviews on Google, it looks like I'm not the first disabled person they've bullied. So I've filed a federal ADA complaint. There are so many plant stores in Charlotte that aren't openly hostile to disabled people. Spend your money there, not here.
