Plantish is such a gem for those of us who work from home. The space is unlike any other coffee shops I’ve managed to find in the area because of its cozy couches, ample work table space, and large bar top. There are plenty of power outlets, FANTASTIC light (especially in the morning), and my breakfast sandwich made me think I’ve had my last McGriddle ever… theirs is SO much better 😍😍. My coffee (an iced vanilla latte) was good, the service was excellent, and I will absolutely be back to work here again. Please come check this place out—I need it to last! 😁 The smallest nitpicks: the bathroom didn’t look super fresh and new? Like, the soap dispenser was wonky, and there appeared to be some sort of rags under the sink (catching water?). There are some low built in planters that are empty so they look dingy and unfinished, but it really could be that they just haven’t had time to get all the finishing touches perfect—they’ve only been open about 6 months.

I finally visited this place and it was so much more than I hoped for. I really love places that attend to details like light, interior design, ambiance, mood. Everything about this place is so sublime and gorgeous. I really can't compliment the furniture and interior enough. I got an acai bowl and it was made with delicious pure acai with no banana in the base (as so many cafés like to do 🙄). It wasn't too sweet and the fruit was fresh, just a perfect bowl. I can tell I'm going to be there every week because it's a beautiful place to hang out or work remotely. I've already told all my friends about this place. At risk of making this review too long, in summary, I recommend all check out this formidable place.

I’ve been here twice now for breakfast. Once on a Saturday and once on a Sunday. The atmosphere is gorgeous. They weren’t playing fun music when I went. They had the news on (not a fan) but my coworker said normally it’s good music! But not too loud so you can work. Lots of cute couches and places to sit. Apparently folks sit and work here. I have not done that yet as parking isn’t great on M street. But my friend said the wifi was strong. The food tastes great and fresh. My only reason for 4 out of 5 stars is that I went on two different weekends and they only have one staff member working up front and they have to do everything from taking an order to making a coffee to delivering food to people and it just makes things go really slow. Every order comes out separately/different and that just doesn’t seem efficient to have one employee all the time. Especially on weekends. I’ve had the griddlewich , it’s sausage egg and cheese between 2 pancakes like a McGriddle at McDonald’s but WAY better not as dry no syrup needed. I’ve also had the plantish breakfast wrap with beef ($2 extra for protein which isn’t bad) the wrap was super filling to me I loved it . The beef was tender and marinated well

I discovered this great cafe & juice bar today located in the Navy Yard neighborhood, called Plantish. I had their morning griddle sandwich and my daughter had the vegan version. They were both DELICIOUS! The indoor aesthetic was extremely welcoming alongside the great customer service we experienced. It was also very quiet, particularly for a Saturday morning, so my daughter decided to stay to get in a quiet few hours of bar studying. The cafe is located right on the corner of M St & Van, next door to the Bull Pen. Can't recommend this business enough!

I’ve been there twice and both times what I ordered exceeded my expectations and delighted me. The vegetables Are beautifully combined. The menu is very thoughtful and the food is really well executed. I also had a shake each time and they are nourishing. There’s nothing in them that would cause me to be regretful. I feel so lucky to have the restaurant near my house.

It’s like drinking art. Lovely atmosphere and deliciously beautiful smoothies.

Stopped here with friends for food before a concert at The Bullpen next door; best decision we made that day! The food was super good & the space is such a chill vibe. I’ll deff be back!

Very chill spot. I ordered the Steak n Cheese and it was great. The organic bottled juices they have are delicious as well

Yelp
Found this spot for breakfast during our trip to DC. It was the perfect clean/healthy break we were looking for. Counter service and they were friendly and quick. We got the blue smoothie, avocado toast with an added egg and an iced dirty chai latte. The blue smoothie was seriously one of the best smoothies ever and reminded me of the cloud smoothie from Erewhon back in LA. it's creamy, smooth, and perfectly balanced (not too sweet/sugary tasting). The avocado toast was nice and crisp and the toppings were seasoned well. The egg was also cooked perfectly and beautifully runny. So clean and modern inside with tons of seating - great place to do work! Definitely a 10/10 spot.

Yelp
This place quietly opened in January, but the quality of the food and drinks need to be yelled from the ridiculously priced, Navy Yard rooftops- this place is GOOD. Really good! I've been twice so far, once for a green smoothie because I was feeling healthy(ish) and once to try a few of their breakfast items because I was feeling gluttonish. Both times did not disappoint! I got the griddlewich, breakfast burrito, and avocado toast to taste with a friend we ate everything! (There are vegan options for everything) We didn't even think to take pictures of the food it was that good. Everything is made to order and tastes like it was made in someone's personal home kitchen. The establishment itself is really bright and airy. The furniture is super relaxing and I can totally see folks grabbing a coffee or smoothie with a bite and quietly working for a few hours. I've only see one woman behind the bar making smoothies and she's very nice and welcoming. I hope that more people come here because this place took so long to open and I want to see it succeed. It's open from 7am-7pm every day.

Yelp
I usually never post reviews on Yelp, but I had to for Plantish because this just became my new favorite cafe in Navy Yard! The aesthetic is so top tier. There's so many available seats, whether on the couches, at the tables, or at the high-top tables facing out the window. Lots of outlets in the walls for people wanting to work with laptops. I got the Thai Noodle Steak Salad and an iced matcha latte, and I loved both. The salad was fresh, and the dressing was flavorful and light. The little steak pieces were tender and marinated really well (reminded me of Korean galbi, for reference). Should've taken a pic of the salad before starting to eat, because once I began, I couldn't stop! The matcha latte was blended really well. It tasted great unsweetened, but I was feeling like drinking something sweet, so they let me pour a little bit of agave into the latte. Service was also amazing. Guy at the counter was super kind and conversational. Would really, really recommend this place if you're looking for a chill place to study, work, or chat with a friend.

Yelp
Seems to be out of business / closed permanently already, because I went by today, and it is completely empty except for the counter and a couple planters with mostly dead plants by the door. Bummer.

Yelp
I got the delicious Blueish smoothie with spirulina and a filling veggie and chicken bowl for my meal! a little pricey but that is to be expected for a brunch cafe. I will come again.
