The staff is so kind, I felt very welcomed when I arrived, flowers are awesome and the ice matcha latte with soy milk was delicious! I’d switch plastic cup for a glass one!

Google
I often come her after my nearby workout class. The coffee is good, the pastry selection is nice (especially the parmesan black pepper croissant), and the employees are welcoming. The outdoor seating is also a plus when the weather is nice.

Google
My favorite happy hour spot! Surrounded by floral scent, green plants, plushy cushions, great coffee and tea beverages, small selection of pastries, and lots of oxygen from the live plants! Such a nice and serene place in bustling city with friendly staff. Make sure to get yourself or a friend some green floral gifts!

Do you like plants & coffee? Then 100% come here. If I lived in the city I would surely be here weekly, and work remotely here. Such a sweet little shop with beautiful plants, pottery, and more!

Plants and coffee - perfect combo for me. They use Partners coffee grind formerly known as Toby’s. I had oat milk latte which was good (no special coffees/ drinks) and then I started looking at the plants. I wasn’t impressed by their selection at all . I thought it was quite simple and basic.

Love it here! Becca is the best barista. She was so kind and awesome to me when I came in! Can’t wait to come back soon!

PlantShed on Prince St. Is my absolute favorite coffee shop for a decaf mocha. They make the best decaf macadamia milk mocha. It’s the perfect balance of chocolate and expresso and they seem to be the only coffee shop that offers macadamia milk as a dairy alternative. I live on the upper west side and Central Park and started coming to this location when I got 2 apartment listings in a building nearby. I would treat myself after a showing and consistently got a perfect pour. The only negative is sometimes they ran out of my favorite cookie (the Chai Spice), but that’s because I usually came later in the afternoon and it was other peoples favorite too. The place smells like paradise and is a feast for all your senses.

Google
This place was so cute and chill! They have a selection of specialty drinks as well as coffee and tea. We had the plantshed creamsicle and the detox - both were surprisingly really good! The prices were very reasonable for specialty drinks like these as well. They have non-diary plantbased milk alternatives as well. Nice ambiance and the staff were very friendly. Check out the plant selection too! Will be back.

Yelp
1/1 Ambience; 2/2 Beverage; 1/1 Service; 1/1 Value I have frequented PlantShed locations over several years since they opened their first location by my alma mater. PlantShed is a hybrid cafe and plant shop/florist. The aroma of flowers, coffee, and a variety of home accessories makes for an absolutely delicious aroma inside. Their Prince St. location is situated in the heart of SoHo and makes for a lovely space for people-watching or doing work, particularly outdoors when the weather is cooperative. Please note that seating is more limited indoors; there are few outlets in this location for electronics; and they do not have a restroom for patrons. The staff is also very friendly and helpful at the PlantShed on every occasion I have been. A friend and I stopped by and we both tried the iced floral bloom matcha latte ($7) from their spring menu, which was a recommendation from the barista. The drink is absolutely delicious! I am blanking on the exact floral flavors in this mixed drink, but there were subtle, floral notes that elevated the drink to a richer, more refreshing and lightly citrus taste. Prices are overall standard for the neighborhood, maybe slightly on the higher side. But, we were both very impressed by the quality of the matcha, so the price is definitely justified. This drink is definitely going to bring me back to the PlantShed again!

Yelp
Cute place with great selections of plants, candles, stationary, and other small knick knacks. The staff here is wonderful - extremely kind and knowledgeable about plant care. I ordered a Hot Matcha Latte (~$6.80) and my drink came with a beautiful latte art! My beverage was honestly just ok (a bit on the milkier end) and on the pricier side for matcha lattes, but I'd give this place another shot! FYI - no restrooms here, but the staff will point you to % Arabica just across the street. Extremely minimal seating here, with a single table with 6 chairs, so it's more of just a grab and go.

Yelp
This coffee shop was close to my hotel and it looked cute! There's plants and coffee. What else could you want? There are mixed reviews for this shop so didn't expect too much but was pleasantly surprised at the kind service and tasty coffee. Ordered an iced latte to go. Staff were friendly and helpful. Coffee was good! There is a pretty big coffee/drinks menu along with some pastries. Lots of plants for sale as well.

Yelp
This was my first visit and I'm in love. We love plant and coffee shops and finding one that has both is like seeing a unicorn. My partner had been there before and shared it was just a plant shop pre COVID. I'm assuming the business model expanded to become a concept shop which now holds space for a coffee, plants, books and stationary. The space is cozy with enough room inside to hold about 8 people and there's some outdoor seating. To the far end of the shop is where you pay for all non- coffee products and to the center left you order your coffee. We went with the spiced chai with oat milk, so yummy. We sat inside for about an hour and there was quite a bit of traffic but it never got loud or felt stuffy. Similarly to the congenial young lady at the back counter, our male barista was warm and friendly, engaged us in small talk and made recommendations. We ended up purchasing two ceramic mugs and a cute cactus key chain that Bae got me. The trinkets were on the pricier side with the mugs being $15 a piece and the keychain going for $12 but given the location and a specialty shop, it could all be worse. I will def be back. Love the neighborhood, store location and the way the store staff engaged us. It truly makes a difference.

Yelp
WILL NEVER GO TO THIS FLORIST AGAIN. Yesterday, I went to the Prince St location to have a sympathy plant delivered for a grieving friend to show our love and support for him in this hard time. Well delivered the plant but not only did they lose the card that had our messages, but they sent a copy of the RECEIPT along with it. VERY EMBARRASSING, not because of the price but because it was supposed to be a loving gift for our friend in mourning, Now it just came off tacky and classless. Luckily his wife managed to take the reciept away before he saw it. Find another florist who would handle these delicate matters better.

Yelp
Ordered an iced lavender bloom latte with almond milk off their spring menu, and it was delicious and yet smooth. The ambiance is gorgeous and soothing with the lush botanicals. They have indoor and outdoor seating, and the baristas are super friendly and helpful. Great spot to grab a gift, plant, or flowers while getting your drink.

Yelp
Sofie, Sha-aine and Ruby collectively enliven the store and cafe like Blossom, Buttercup and Bubbles in PowerPuff girls. I love how conversational and happy they are working at PlantShed. Let's also celebrate the most delicious Iced Ginger-Chai-Matcha Latte with Almond milk I know I will ever have because it is created by Plantshed. My daughter gulped down her Chai Latte within a minute. Not a dull moment at Plantshed located at 1 Prince Street.

Yelp
The cutest little coffeeshop! I came here with a friend one day to get some work done, and thankfully we found some seats. It actually has less seating than I thought there would be, so if you're trying to work here for the day, I'd come earlier if you want to try your chances. I love the plants, and I loved the environment and the vibes. I also enjoyed my coffee, and they have some cute little snacks that I got to try. The only thing I would say is that this place is a little on the expensive side. That being said, I would definitely drop by for a coffee if I were ever in the area again.

Jag G.

Yelp
This was my go-to place but recently they hired a new staff. I understand new baristas are going to be slow but there was hair in my matcha latte The flowers & plants are pretty but the vibe is slightly less without the familiar friendly faces. Where did all the cool kids go? In my opinion, Coffee shops are like Bars in NYC... There's always another one on a different corner. I'm gonna give 1 star for the pretty flower

Jonathan R.

Yelp
This place is a total scam. Completely ruined my Valentine's Day. Ordered flowers and chocolate for Valentine's Day days in advance. Not only did they not arrive, there was no customer service available at all during the delivery window. No one should ever order from this company.

Yelp
This is like an oasis in middle of a desert. Placed near the likes of Balthazar, this particular location definitely gets a lot of visitors. We walked in just to grab a quick coffee on the go but got pulled in by the lush greenery around. The place is huge, spreading to another floor on top and has a large variety of plants and pots, well priced considering it's located at such a prime spot. My pics don't do Justice at all. This will be my 'must pay a visit' spot everytime I step into Spring street.

Yelp
botanical X coffee shop = PlantShed the math works, but that ain't my strong suit. ordered an Iced Americano...was served a Cold Brew. the Cold Brew felt good on an overheated Fall day. maybe not getting what was ordered is part of the charm/magic? idk. barista was cute, yet humorless. almost a paradoxical retail xp that is becoming the norm, but cold caffeine ftw, amiright! * *~3.5-4 stars
google avatar

Yelp
Cappuccino plus gluten free bear equals bliss! Customer service is warm and sweet! The scent of the flowers is intoxicatingly delightful. Across the street from the New Museum is an oasis on the Bowery!
google avatar

Domonique M.

Yelp
Overpriced flowers and plants but usual for this area. Service was mid, barista served her friend before customers and was too busy chatting it up. The coffee was also mid
google avatar

Albert K.

Yelp
Great coffee with outdoor seating. Got a cold brew + half & half. Lots of plants to choose from, if you're looking to buy some. Otherwise the green botanical shop is super cute.

Yelp
The staff has become very friendly and I've come to enjoy the effort of having plants mixed in with the coffee experience.

Yelp
Plants + coffee?? Every basic girlies dream but really it's a great little plant/gift/coffee shop. The interior is exactly what you'd expect, simple and full of light and green plants. I got a macadamia milk lavender latte. I didn't even know macadamia milk existed! The lavender syrup isn't on their menu but you can see the flavors from the counter. The coffee bean taste was delicious and little bitter unan good way. Would recommend!

Yelp
Coffee is good and it's a really nice place to sit and work or study. The flower selection is great!

Yelp
Gorgeous bouquet for my daughter! What a day brightener! The website was easy to navigate and customer service was great! Awesome :)

Yelp
Truly the best chai I have ever had! Recommend their gluten free banana bread muffin as well.

Yelp
While living in the UWS, I was on the hunt for a bird of paradise, and the Columbus Avenue location mentioned that they didn't have any in store but that I could check with other stores. The manager of the Nolita PlantShed offered a 14" diameter bird of paradise for ~$80 which was a good price for NYC at the time. The plant was already about 4-5 ft tall and there were three strong stalks in it. I hurriedly rushed to the Nolita PlantShed and my eyes must have bulged out of my head when I saw that they had charged $180 instead. Thankfully, the manager got in touch with the cashier and mentioned that it was his mistake. The original price was $180 and he had told me $80 over the phone. They still honored the $80 and I was able to sweatily hike my bird of paradise all the way up to the UWS. Major points for taking ownership of the mistake and letting me go home with a beauty that's now 7-8 ft tall!

Yelp
Loved it here! Literally was walking down the street and came upon PlantShed... I walked in not having any expectations and not planning on buying anything, only to walk out with a number of different succulents! I had a tremendous amount of help from one of the assistants in the store, who took me around to show me the different options available based upon what kind of environment I had in my apartment, how attentive I'd be able to be with my plants given my schedule, what I just generally found aesthetically appealing, etc. I love what I got (and I even got a crystal to place in one of my succulents (which I know can sound a bit ridiculous), which was awesome)! I couldn't have done it without the team at PlantShed's help, and I really appreciate that. A note on price though, this isn't the type of place you go into a find a ton of really reasonably priced items... You can find some well-priced things if you look hard enough, but it's not like this is the type of place where you're surprised by how economical things are. All-in-all though, it's an awesome store--amazing environment, service, and products!

Yelp
Here's to another great cookies and cream latte find! And not only that, this place doubles as a plant shop with a coffee bar within. So when my favorite bike store closed down a few years ago, I decided to stare out to that same spot across the street of the New Museum. My eyes laid on Plantshed: a local plant shop with trees and foliage surrounding the store. I was curious. I've had my fair share of flowers, so I decided to look inside only to find that they served specialty drinks and some pastries. The drinks range from coffees to specialty espresso drinks to loose leaf teas. The first drink I ordered was the only drink I order: cookies and cream! The story goes that I was on a kick for anything Oreo related and when I ordered this particular latte, I fell in love with the creamy drink combined with oatmilk! What I enjoy about this latte is that it has these beautiful Oreo sediments on top of the foam that gradually end up at the bottom of your cup that have the perfect taste of nostalgia. It's also quite light and comforting, especially on cold winter days in Soho. Pricey but oh so satisfying. I always make time to get it if in the area. While the friendly hip barista brews her magic, I usually peruse the shop, fixated at their curated plants and floral ceramic pots. They now sell their own merch too as they have several locations in the city. There's several tables and chairs in the back for customers to sit, work, and chat with friends. It's really coming all together here after a few years. Accepts cash, card, and Applepay. Plant and cafe life coincide together. Don't forget to get a stamp card. Drink up and shop local!

Yelp
Went here for something energizing as I was shopping in Soho and found this charming store on the way! The atmosphere was refreshing and helps you get in touch with nature. They have many beautiful plants decorated around the store and all over the outside! Upon inspection, I saw there were price tags on the plants as well so this place doubles as a floral shop! My tea was good, had mild flavor and wasn't too bitter. The only thing I found quite strange was that they seem to advertise green and a reduced waste lifestyle, sustainable living, etc. but they don't even give you paper straws or cups. For the price I'm paying and the zero waste nature of the store, this cafe should really consider opting out of plastic for paper cups and straws to match the aesthetic they are going for. It's a really cute store in a fun neighborhood and I'm happy I got to try it out! Maybe I'll come back to try their hot drinks, I haven't decided yet. All in all, this store captivates the true vibe and atmosphere of Soho and downtown and good stop to make when you're with friends and want to try something new and refreshing.

Yelp
Lovely place! Unsure why they have such low ratings. I was walking around looking for something refreshing and with caffeine. I got the matcha oat latte and it's one of the best matchas I've had in a while. Other places I've tried they usually put way too much milk or have low quality matcha. The barista was super sweet and efficient as well. She was working both register and the coffee bar and she got everyone's order quickly and perfectly. Highly recommend!
google avatar

Amol K.

Yelp
Charming little coffee shop tucked into a flower shop. Ordered an americano and a ham&cheese croissant. Americano was done well and high quality. Croissant was really good. Liked that the ham&cheese was baked into the croissant and not added after. Would go here again!

katie C.

Yelp
This place is absolutely lovely. It's got great vibes and is a wonderful place to have coffee surrounded by plants. I'm shocked that they use petroleum-based plastic cups instead of eco-plastic and don't even have recycling given the ethos of their shop.
google avatar

Yu P.

Yelp
I really like the cacti here. Still spending $250+ on one is too decadent for me. I like the space inside and staff are kind.
google avatar

Nathan T.

Yelp
Great coffee, immaculate vibes AND they sell plants. A great place to work, take a date, or just for your morning coffee.
google avatar

Klee V.

Yelp
Browsing around here is such a treat while you wait for your matcha to be made. So many plants, great smelling candles and goodies. We both really enjoyed our iced matcha lattes!
google avatar

Louise J.

Yelp
Meh. I asked for a large black coffee and got a cup 2/3 full. The products are all generic and the place was uninspiring.
google avatar

China C.

Yelp
I've gotten lazy about writing reviews but hopefully the owner will take notice of all of the one star reviews. Honestly, I would love to see this shop succeed especially now with all of the closed stores downtown. We have been going here for years and loved it but there's one employee that makes it impossible to come back. I've never encountered such awful customer service. It's hard to enjoy coffee when the person you're ordering from clearly doesn't want to help. Hopefully they can hire a person who is as charming as the shop-
google avatar

Amy H.

Yelp
After looking for flowers all around NYC, I stopped at plant shed. They had a pretty good variety and I love the decor inside. I really appreciated how curated the decor and even the menu was for drinks. I ordered a spiced chocolate- the flavors were interesting for sure, and it was something I wasn't expecting.
google avatar

Nishad J.

Yelp
I walked by and wandered in on my way to work because it was refreshing to see some plants in the city. The store is a combination of a plant store + coffee shop and I ended up getting a spiced cocoa latte or something similar with some plant protein. It was good!
google avatar

Kendra P.

Yelp
If you're looking for a beautiful, and affordable, flower arrangement this is the place to go. I walked into the shop less than an hour before close, in need of a custom bouquet. I expected to be rushed, understandably. This is New York, we all have places to be. But to my surprise the staff in the floral section were so helpful and patient. They listened to my preferences, changed out the flowers until the bouquet was perfect, made me a custom card, and were so sweet throughout the entire process. I also overheard them with other clients, they're very knowledgable in plant care and were equally helpful to everyone there. Thank you, PlantShed Staff!
google avatar

Alex E.

Yelp
I feel like the plants are more for aesthetics than anything else. If I was rating this as a plant store I wouldn't rate it as high. But as a cafe that serves great coffee in a warm and cozy environment full of beautiful plants, it's great. Staff was sweet and fun, it was a pleasure to stop by. I had a chai latte made with half and half that tasted almost magic. My friend had a drip coffee that he said was great. The cookie was dope, too If you want to buy plants go to Noble Planta on 28th Street. Better prices and knowledgeable staff that knows the latin names and history and care instructions for everything in the store.
google avatar

Megan D.

Yelp
Beautiful store, great coffee, great costumer service! You can tell their employees care about keeping the store as COVID safe as possible which I really appreciate! The employees are knowledgeable about plants and coffee and very helpful
google avatar

Marisa A.

Yelp
Cute cute cute spot with exceptional coffee, gorgeous bouquets, and a variety of beautiful potted plants to fantasize about putting in your dream apartment (or take home if you are so lucky as to have the perfect NYC abode) the environment is calming and imbues you with a sense of healthiness probably from breathing in air purified by all the plants instead of the exhaust in the New York City streets. While the space is sizable because it is subdivided with the back purely used for the plant sales the space for coffee drinking is limited to one large table which means if it is busy you may not want to rely on being able to find a seat. Worth a shot though because the ambiance is as delicious as the coffee and worse case you can get a great coffee and a beautiful bouquet to go. Cards only, no cash.
google avatar

Lucy M.

Yelp
Cute place and yummy coffee! The barista here does great latte art! Prices are decent, the usual price in NYC. I came just for the coffee but they have a wide selection of plants and pottery and/or vases for purchase (all super cute!)
google avatar

Liz O.

Yelp
This place has great coffee and smells like heaven. Try the lavender hand sanitizer! And buy a cactus before you leave.
google avatar

Eber H.

Yelp
It was an awful customer service, more like pulling teeth to get information about how care the plant I just bought and they refused to repotted a plant I bought in a different place so basically I just bought my plant with me for nothing. They don't even have a direct phone number to ask before wasting your time.
google avatar

Nicole D.

Yelp
The barista was beyond rude. She called our questions dumb and made us very uncomfortable. The coffee wasn't even that good.

Hee Jeong K.

Yelp
I ordered a bouquet for my friend's special day. My order was placed 2 weeks before the day of. About 3 days before the day, I physically went in here to confirm because I couldn't be late to the event and the flower was a crucial part. Guess what. They were late for the order. I'm not sure what else I could've done to make this order on time. If you are ordering for an important event, just don't. Awful customer service. No sense of professionalism
google avatar

Elizabeth C.

Yelp
Beautiful clean space, staff is very knowledgeable and helpful. I've purchased many plants for my home and as gifts and always been happy with them. Eric kindly helped me with a return for a stand that didn't quite fit my pot at home - a very annoying request since I already threw out my receipt but he took the time to assist me regardless. Will definitely keep coming back.

Jenia M.

Yelp
So impressed! I received flowers from a friend from here and by the second day, realized I was allergic to something in the arrangement. I called to ask exactly what were the greens and the flower that I didn't know so I could add to my list of allergies, and the gentleman who I spoke with told me he would send me a new arrangement the next day that I wouldn't be allerfox to. Great customer service- I will be ordered from Plantshed from now on!

Alyssa T.

Yelp
Where do I even start. The customer service here is terrible. We were at the doorway putting our masks on as we were approached by a barista who very rudely told us to get out if we don't have masks on. We told her that we were putting them on and that she didn't have to talk to us so rudely. She proceeded to YELL and cause a scene including calling my friends outfit ugly?.. Thought she must've gotten some bad news that day or something but based on other reviews it's clear she is just an unhappy person with a very ugly personality. The other barista watched it all happen and said nothing. Don't come here.
google avatar

Tianyi L.

Yelp
An interesting coffee shop that's part florist, part craft coffee bar. Smells great and a good atmosphere for enjoying a cup of coffee. Definitely exudes a hipster vibe. Recently opened third location. There's a wide selection of unique ceramic vases/pots for purchase as well.

Jelena S.

Yelp
I had a positive experience here. No angry baristas or anything like that. I came to buy a pathos plant and the girl that works there was very nice, explained how to take care of it and said I could call anytime if I had any problem with the plant. Again, I read the bad reviews about the baristas there and I have to say that when I went there, the barista that was working was very nice. She asked me if I was there for a coffee or plant, I said it was the latter one and she said that the girl who was watering the flowers outside would help me find what I needed. Therefore, no rudeness experienced, at least in my case. The store is very cute and their plants are beautiful and inexpensive. I used to buy at Sill and they are way overpriced. So far, the pothos I bought there is doing great and I am satisfied with this nursery and will definitely go again to pick up some more plants.

Natasha R.

Yelp
This place is gorgeous with such a calming atmosphere. The baristas are lovely and friendly! get your drink with macadamia milk, per their recommendation--you will love it! My favorite coffee shop in the city.
