Review for the restaurant - the service here is an amazing, the food is delicious. Nice atmosphere - live music. So good we went twice and all dishes were good. Best dinners we had in Uzbekistan and Tajikistan. Just go!!

Good ambience and location. However disappointed. We ordered for baked beetroot salad. It was cold, few pieces of boiled beets, NOT baked and mostly arugula leaves, feta cheese cubes. The pepper from the pepper shaker was over. I had checked and the server didn't like me asking for it. Lastly, my friend had asked for a fish dish. And I had asked for grilled vegetables which was written separately on the menu as a side dish. They brought the fish with grilled vegetables. The server said, the chef had mixed the 2 dishes. Saving grace was the delicious mashed potato. Most important point is, the reviews on the menu say that it is vegan and vegetarian friendly. However it is NOT so. There are NO vegetarian options in the main course.

The location is very good in a quite neighborhood and was in a walkable distance from our hotel. The food was super tasty, the service was moderate as only one waiter could speak little English. The atmosphere was nice and the restaurant is clean. Prices might be a little higher than what you expect in Samarkand but the quality of the food and the cleanliness deserves it (in our opinion).

We had lunch at their restaurant. Plus interiors and outdoor sitting Is good as well. Spread is good with some local and European food. Ensure you have an ample time and most dishes take 20-50 min to serve. Shank and wings is must try!!!

From the first glance, you can tell that this hotel knows how to take care of its guests. The interior is thoughtfully designed, creating a sense of comfort and tranquility. The room was exceptionally clean, with a pleasant aroma, fresh towels, and bedding. The staff deserves special praise for their smiling, friendly, and accommodating nature. This approach truly enhances the overall experience.

The hotel staff deserves special thanks — they are very friendly and helpful staff who are always ready to help and prompt. The check-in was quick and without delay. The breakfasts are delicious and varied, everyone will find something to taste. Convenient location — nearby there are cafes, shops and the main attractions of the city.

The food at Platan is truly excellent — from hearty soups and fresh salads to the unbelievably juicy and flavorful grilled lamb. A real highlight! Service, however, can be a bit of a rollercoaster. I visited twice: during lunch, Damir took care of us, and he was the definition of perfect service — attentive, friendly, and genuinely welcoming. Dinner, on the other hand, was less smooth. Waiting 50 minutes for a mojito feels like a test of patience — hopefully, something that can be improved. As for the evening music… well, it was quite the “avant-garde” performance. Imagine an out-of-tune piano dueling with a random playlist from an old synthesizer. A little fine-tuning here could really elevate the whole dining experience

We stayed at Platan for three days, and since it rained the entire time, we ended up having dinner here every night. The food never disappointed, everything we tried was delicious and well-prepared. We also had the offer of a complimentary breakfast, which was a great addition and just as enjoyable. The service was fast and efficient, making our dining experience even better. The restaurant's ambiance was another highlight, with little touches of Uzbek culture that made it feel authentic and welcoming. Overall, a fantastic place to dine, and we’d definitely return!
