Very nice small hotel. Super location close to the lake. Private sauna in a very nice surrounding. Very good breakfast with a great flat white. And good choice of food with great fresh orange juice. Overall pleasant stay. Friendly service at a very decent price.

Very nice experience, room was beautiful, location is just wonderful, breakfast was tasty , we went for dinner to the Platan bistro and loved everything, overall-all good. Just 2 things : room was very hot and it was hard to breath , so we opened a/c in the end of October. And another thing the stairs in the lake at wellness centre are covered with ooze, so it’s really slippery, be careful

Our stay at Platán Udvarház és Platán Utca was truly memorable. From the moment we arrived, we were greeted by the most polite and welcoming staff we have ever encountered. The entire team went above and beyond to ensure our comfort and satisfaction throughout our stay. Our room was cozy and comfortable, equipped with all the necessary amenities to make our visit enjoyable. It felt like a home away from home, providing a perfect retreat after a day of exploring. The highlight of our stay was undoubtedly the restaurant next door, which has been recognized by Michelin in both 2022 and 2023. The dining experience was nothing short of fabulous on all fronts—food, service, and atmosphere. Every meal was a delight, and we also enjoyed a very good breakfast there, once again accompanied by excellent service. Special mention must be made of Kristina, who was incredibly kind and helpful during our check-out process. Her extra efforts in making our trip to the train station painless were greatly appreciated, and she truly made a positive impression on our entire experience. Overall, we highly recommend Platán Udvarház és Platán Utca for anyone looking for a memorable and enjoyable stay. My only recommendation to the management is to make change check out time from 10:00 A.M. to 12:00 P.M.

We stayed here multiple times, always hoping for a different room :) Perfect getaway for families (with adult children) or couples as well. Their staff is very well trained, you can feel that they are there to support and assist you, to make sure you have an unforgettable experience. They have bikes that you can use during your stay, so you can bike around the lake or visit nearby attractions. The breakfast is super nice, with a great variety of options available. We also tried their restaurant, that is also amazing!

We recently had the pleasure of staying at Platán Varorok Vendeghaz. We highly recommend you add this to your stay in Hungary. The staff were always smiling, friendly and happy to help with questions or requests. Our two rooms were located in the new section and were spacious, comfortable and quiet. The breakfasts were excellent, providing a large range of options in the buffet and also cooked on request. The location is ideal and we enjoyed utilising their bikes to cycle around the old lake and made the most of the wellness centre for a cool swim afterwards. We ate at the Restaurant on both evenings and it was first class !! A European highlight ! There is no better place to stay and enjoy all the wonders that Tata has to offer. Thank you. We will certainly be back!

3.5* maybe. We stayed at Platan Utca, the new wing of the Udvarház, a street away from the main building and left with mixed feelings. The garden of the new set of apartments is brilliant; atmospheric and perfectly set! The apartments however are not the quality expected. We had an awful night in an uncomfortable bed and waking up multiple times to the sound of the toilet and the shower from the apartments above. Simply unacceptable on this level. It seems that while the garden and the room furniture got the attention it deserved, the renovation inside was very poorly done. Shame… because the service was exemplary, both in the restaurant and at the front desk. The breakfast was absolutely delicious. We would recommend and visit the restaurant again, but would not stay in the new accommodation.

The hotel adjoins the historic abbey, at the heart of the tourist district, and is a 1 minute walk to the sightseeing path around the lake. Breakfast is absolutely amazing with the best of every fresh food anyone could want in a gorgeous historic atmosphere. We had a basement room, with a tiny window into a grate in the sidewalk above. It was late Sept, the central AC system had been turned off, and the room was hot and stuffy, with no way to get air. The hotel manager gave us a portable fan, which helped. Our travelling companions had much better rooms upstairs with views. All the rooms were really clean and well appointed. The beds were quite comfortable.
