Pretty cool place. The oldest mini golf in Texas 78 years! It could have some modern updates but you could tell that they were trying and that made it worth it. Will definitely keep in mind for the future.

One of the many things I miss about living in Abilene is Play Faire Park. A fun venue and you can't ask for friendlier, more welcoming folks than the owners, the England family. We've tried mini golf where we live now, but the people just want you there for the $ --- and boy do they charge ridiculous prices! The kids run wild and no one is very friendly. Every time we been we say "Well, we're not at Play Faire, so what did we expect?" Play Faire has good music, a beautiful venue, and a great atmosphere. Weather you're there for a date or a family night, it's always a good time!

I had to post this from my mother's account. We went here to celebrate my friend's eighteenth birthday. Beautiful venue! They take card and cash, and the man at the front was really friendly! He struck conversation with us and was overall welcoming. The snacks and drinks are super cheap too, so you don't have to worry too much about overheating, along with there being tons of benches and shade due to the trees. Overall, I would absolutely LOVE to come back to this place! DEFINITELY RECOMMEND!!!

Great place! Laid back, honest to goodness fun. And the most gorgeous sycamore tree you've ever seen! It's not pristine and new but for me that's part of the charm. And they are actively repairing and replacing minor flaws. Go see them and keep this Abilene icon in business!

Really fun! It's a cool ol classic mini golf park. It has its quirks but that, to me, makes it all the better! We will be returning for sure.

I had heard about this place on the radio. I was excited to come, and check it out. I was pretty disappointed. Everything was in pretty bad shape. The man at the booth was ok, but not overly inviting. Some of the holes weren't numbered plainly. The greens were in various forms of decay. Probably will not be back.

Fantastic fun! Great venue and setting for a fun evening with a friend. Cool music list played while we putter through the courses. Even cooler folks running the place.

Google
Classic mini golf in a laid back vibe. Owner was super personable, cool murals and events. Well lit large grounds, plenty of space between tees. It's showing some age, but that just adds to the charm for us.

Yelp
When you first drive up to the park you get disheartened to see how in terrible shape the park is. The sign that bares the Play Faire Park is in disarray. The sign that says Free vitamin D is cute. I am sure this park was very cool in its hay day but now it needs some major upgrades. The play holes are in terrible condition. I know we are not the best golfers, but seriously it took forever to get our balls in the holes. The place does have a cool hippy vibe which was one of my favorite things about it. I also thought the older gentleman was kind too, he let me have a little bit of his plants, but seriously, man, get some upgrades. The price is reasonable. I would recommend this place if you are just wanting to have fun with your family/friends and don't care much about winning or how in terrible shape the holes are in. It's a nice atmosphere just needs a little TLC.

Yelp
It's a very nostalgic atmosphere when you experience play faire- it feels like you're stepping back in time! The owner is very kind and loves his business. It's family friendly too, a fun outing for everyone! It definitely could use some updates but for the price it's a good deal.

Yelp
This is such a cute local business! We went to a tie-dye "class" and the lady that taught was so nice and patient and we came out with some pretty awesome shirts. The people are friendly and laid back, love all the kitties that hang around

Yelp
I was sad that everyone we encountered was so unfriendly... We went for the Mini Golf + Haunted House. We were sent away from the ticket booth because they didn't offer combo tickets, and were pointed to the haunted house ticket booth for those. Then we were told to come back later and ignored at the haunted house by those working in it because their booth wasn't open yet. The booth was opened a few minutes later for a pushy Karen who disregarded us when we tried to tell her what we had just been told about the ticket booth. We left after that.

Yelp
This mini golf venue is simply brilliant. I came here on a whim and was thoroughly impressed with every aspect. Firstly the prices were very good(coupled with a military discount on top), next there was great live music playing while I was playing my round, and lastly it was just an awesome vibe all around. If you haven't been here and need something to do on a weekend date or family night I would HIGHLY suggest going here.

Yelp
I love this place! Play Faire is a like a trip to my childhood ( mid sixty's). No high tech gadgets or video games just cool old vintage mini golf. 2 18 hole courses meander thru the property with great 60's and 70's music playing. There is a stage for live music( no band on the night we went) and one of the holes runs right in front of it. Great lighting strung in the trees throughout adds to the retro vibe. Very cool gift shop that features mostly tye dyed shirts. The guy at snack shack( I believe he is the owner) was a great host and loved talking about the park and its history. Will definitely be back.

Yelp
We were the only ones at the park at the time of our visit and I'm not sure why. This place was GREAT! Our kids loved it as much as my husband and I- very reasonably priced too. We will definitely be back for some more fun! Also- it was BYOB, discreetly. Need more places like this!

Yelp
Great venue for local music. Great fun in a family friendly atmosphere! One of Abilene's Best Kept Secrets!

Yelp
The best mini golf that you can get. Great course from 60+ years ago. The owner is cool and friendly too. A real bargain.

Yelp
Absolutely the best place in town for family entertainment. Built in the mid 1940's to accommodate servicemen returning from WWII, it's a blast from the past. Two eighteen hole courses, with the original hazards (windmill, spinning wheel, etc.) still in place. Two party areas for private gatherings or birthdays. Trees, a fountain, live music on the weekends, smiling faces. Easy on your budget, even the drinks and candy are priced low. It's a wonderful place, and the owner loves his clientele. There's no grumpy gus at the counter here.

Yelp
Went to this place today while visiting family in Abilene. Had a group ranging from age 2-50 and we all had a great time! We had a Groupon that wasn't loading and the attendant addressed the situation in a flexible and professional manner. We bought snacks which were reasonably priced and the customer service was great! The golf itself was fun! They had hopscotch squares leading to the next (hole?). Fun! Tetherball, a gift shop, restrooms (very clean), benches and tables throughout. Overall old fashioned and stringed lights for a fun ambience! Not too many people there tonight so we never had to wait our turn.

Yelp
This place was so much fun. My 4 yr old and I went on a whim. So glad we did. The staff was very nice and down to earth. I will be coming back again! I will not even think of giving business to the newer less personable entertainment venues in town now.

Yelp
Best putt-putt in town, since 1947! Take the kids and have fun. It's old and its full on character. The prices are just right too.
