Playa Bowls

This was by far one of the best acai bowls I've had in a long time, and you won't find one like it nearby. It's a little expensive, but if you can afford it every now and then, it's definitely worth it. The vibes are there, the staff is nice. There’s also some great seating around the corner from the door. 5/5, definitely recommend!!!

The Nutella açaí was delicious and I enjoyed my sweet cream cold brew. The staff was friendly and helpful. This spot will be a Lakeview gem for sure!

The menu was so big, I couldn’t decide what to try! Ended up getting a smoothie, but will be back for an açaí bowl.

Playa bowls always has the best atmosphere. The service here is so amazing and the employees never fail to put their all into every single order. The vibe is so great and I can’t wait to stop by my favorite store to get the best acai bowls on the planet!! I highly recommend coming here and bringing your friends and family too so that they can have the same amazing experience as you!

I appreciated the variety of bases for the bowls such as passion fruit, coconut, banana, and oatmeal in addition to classic açaí. Thank you, KB, for making my first visit to Playa Bowls informative and equally delicious!

I have yet to order something I did not the love. The Nutella açaí bowl is my usual go to but I did a half and half with pataya this time and it was incredible. Can’t recommend this place enough.

Look, what playa bowls has that its competitors doesn't is the variety of bases. Mango, drangonfruit, banana, kale, coconut, açaí. I love açaí bowls but I learned you can MIX IT. Game changing. I got the mango/açaí combo with granola, blueberry, strawberry, and honey. It was excellent. I was worried because there was only one size and it would be too small but it was the perfect size. My gripes with this place is that the açaí is tarter than açaí shops in the area so heads up on that, but mixed beautifully with mango. The other thing is that there is a lot of toppings but the bowls have very specific combos and are not customizable. The ability to mix (at no cost) does enable for more options though. The wait staff was friendly and I look forward to coming back to this new neighborhood staple :)

So excited that this location is finally open! East lakeview needed a good smoothie spot and playa bowls is definitely it. I was really impressed with their well-rounded menu and quality bowls! Staff were friendly and service was quick. They have a few tables to eat inside which is nice, but it seemed like most people were taking theirs to go. Great rewards program too! I got the booster bowl which is blue with spurilina and I'm still thinking about it! Can't wait to come back and try more.
