Yelp
This review breaks down the different components of the Gringo Experience Score (GX Score™). This measurement methodology evaluates the different components of the experience, which are called "Elements" or Experiential Drivers, and then weights them based on their importance, or "Impact" to the average American's (Gringo's) Satisfaction, and calculates an overall GX score based on a 100 point scale. This methodology of measurement is based on an econometric model founded at the University of Michigan, famed for Customer Satisfaction Research and brought to market two decades ago by ForeSee and CFI. It's undergone academic peer-review and been adopted by Fortune 100 and Fortune 500 companies in all verticals as a standard for measuring customer satisfaction worldwide. Cielo and Kish LLC have adapted this specifically for foreign products and services and their delivery to the average American consumer.
The diagram attached illustrates how the GX Scoring works.
Onto Playami / Border Psycho's scores and commentary:
GX Driver - Product
GX Impact - 2.0
Score - 97
Why? Great selection of high quality brews, seltzers and liquors. The food menu is diverse and tasty.
GX Driver - Ambiance
GX Impact - 3.0
Score - 98
Why? This place defines !que corado! The indoor-outdoor and rooftop seating is comfortable and the tunes eclectic.
GX Driver - Price
GX Impact - 2.0
Score - 85
Why? The only reason this isn´t a higher score is that you can get quality food for less money, but not the same experience. It´s a bit more money, but worth every peso.
GX Driver - Convenience
Score - 90
GX Impact - 1.8
Why? Located on the main street of Avenida Ensenda, its easy to find. The parking can be limited, which pulled to score down.
GX Driver - Service
Score - 95
GX Impact - 2.0
Why? The Playami staff are polite and demonstrate a positive energy. They are attentive, but not overbearing. They greet you, smile and check your needs at the appropriate time and frequency.
GX Driver - Communication
Score - 80
GX Impact - 1.5
Why? The staff is proficient in English, but some of the terminology we are accustomed to was a bit off. "Last call vs kitchen closing", "Diablo" is really DIABLO (please adopt the 1-10 hot scale that Indian restaurants have on your spicy stuff), and they had unclear and different closing hours which is normal in foodservice.
COVID Readiness
Score - 97
GX Impact - 4.0
The entrance protocols include temperature reading, hand sanitizing and a foot scrub of 30 seconds. All staff have plastic masks and seating is separated. Great job.
Overall GX Score: 93.1
Overall, order Psycho and Playami are highly recommended and on Cielo LifeStyle's Select List. They set a high bar for others to match. Check them out and disfrutelo!
