"You’ll have to pay a cover ($5 locals, $8 out-of-state visitors) but once inside most of the games are free at this cosplay bar. Play pinball, choose from arcade oldies like Street Fighter 2, Donkey Kong, and Mario Bros. or hit the couch and challenge friends on a classic or new generation console. With 50 taps and hundreds of bottles, beers are plentiful and snacks like hot dogs, churros and jumbo pretzels are reasonably priced." - Ryan Slattery, Janna Karel

"Revealed last June and originally advertised as arriving by the end of 2018, Orlando, Florida’s Player 1 Video Game Bar is back on track for a summer expansion to the eastside. Planned as a 24-hour mecca for cosplayers, video game players from all eras and fans of craft beer, the bar is located at the Sunrise City Plaza retail center, close to the intersection of Maryland Parkway and Karen Avenue, and south of the Commercial Center District. Currently waiting for a liquor license, the operators have shared, “we have finished all major construction, and passed all of our building inspections thus far.” The Florida original opened in 2013 as an adults-only venue serving a menu of 150 bottled beers, 50 choices on draft, plus more than 40 ciders and 15 different meads. The Las Vegas version is currently promising classic arcade machines including Millipede, Baby Pac-Man and Donkey Kong Jr., “Atari, NES, N64, PSX, PS4” gaming systems, pinball, cocktails, and a stand-alone bar." - Bradley Martin

This place has a great community vibe. They offer an awesome selection of free-to-play classic and arcade games, along with a good range of pay-to-play pinball machines. There's a big drink selection, featuring many signature cocktails on the menu. We will definitely be back.

This place is cool. There are tons of old arcade games and other games as well. There are plenty of pinball machines as well. Cool place to game and drink. It's too bad we don't have one of these back in my home state because I would come here almost every weekend if I could.

Google
Super unique bar! I love it here! You can spend hours here playing all types of retro and new games. There are a ton of drink options from beers on tap to nerdy themed mixed cocktails. Of course there’s an entrance fee, but there’s a locals discount.

Went with my daughter, had alot of fun playing "old school" games i did 40 years ago when video games first started. This is the place all the cool kids will go to play. They also have a big selection of adult beverages.

Google
Absolutely awesome place. Fair price to get in (~$10) for free play on basically everything except pinball. This includes consoles! They put a $5 deposit on your card when you borrow controllers for the consoles, but refund it when you return them. I got to play a Sega Genesis for the first time ever, plus Demons Souls. If I ever return to Vegas, I'm definitely coming back here!

Overall: 3.4/5 We stopped by Player1 after dinner on a Monday night. The website lists the entry fee for Nevada residents as $5 per person, but in-person, it's actually $6 so they need to update their website. The entry fee includes unlimited free games for most machines, except the pinball games. The arcade has a great selection of classic games that bring back some nostalgia, especially Super Smash Bros. and Mario Kart. The games and overall vibe weren't really my style, so while it was fun to check out once, I probably wouldn't return.

$5 or $8 cover charge, I can't remember. But it covers all the game. You can play all of them until they close. All the good games like Mario kart or Tekken is at the bar tho and there is where people crowded at and you have to wait. Plenty of beers on tap, special drinks menu but the drink is so sweet so it was such a waste. Old game are cool but you get bored pretty fast even if you get unlimited try, because the control is kinda weird, not very responsive sometimes. If they have more modern arcade from post 2000, that's probably better.

Not a good spot if you have more than 4 people in your party. As soon as I walked in the atmosphere was immediately unwelcoming, half hearted welcomes and zero guidance for a group of newcomers. The front desk staff are impersonal and rude, literally just flipped a screen over for me to process my payment and doesn’t say a word about what they’re doing or how that system works, I’ve never used it so it would be nice to have an easily stated “just click okay down in the bottom left.” Both of the attendants seemed like they hated being there and hated everyone that came through the door. This was my first and last time coming to this bar, it is completely disorganized and if you’re a person that enjoys a structured and well organized place where you don’t have to play 21 questions with rude and impatient staff, I DO NOT RECOMMEND. If that’s you then by all means the bartenders are the only reason I would ever come back in without being forced. The games are cool, but I feel like they needed to pick a lane. Console or arcade, it’s cool to sprinkle in a little bit of both but trying to have both really makes no sense, nobody is playing the arcade games because they’re there for the consoles. In other words, focusing on the consoles and making multiple booths where you can add a table or 2 would make this place shine much brighter. The holes in the wall and general look of the place screams “we run this for the money.” Which of course you do, that’s the point, but atleast attempt to make your customers feel like you care. Save maybe 2 employees in the entire building, minus the cooking staff, this place just needs to revamp everything, the idea is cool, the delivery is subpar. I really hope you guys actually take some time to look into your personnel here so maybe this won’t be the last time I, or anyone else that shares my sentiment, visit your bar. Also lower your drink prices for god sakes you’re not on the strip, nor at the drinks that good to be charging that much. Can’t lie I am pretty disappointed and pissed about my experience. I do not get the hype behind this place.

Yelp
Great Spot for Drinks & Games - Perfect for a Relaxed Evening! On our first night in Vegas, we wanted something a bit more laid-back than the Fremont experience, and Player 1 Arcade was the perfect spot! It's just a short Uber ride from Fremont Street. We got in late, checked into our hotel, and decided to wind down with drinks and some games. When we arrived, it wasn't too busy but had a decent crowd. All the games we tried were in great working condition, and the variety was awesome. They had different generational consoles set up all over, some at tables, others at the bar where you could drink and challenge your friends or even the bartender! The beer selection was impressive, with plenty of local and national drafts, and the mixed drinks were solid, too. For a $10 flat fee, you get to play unlimited games, which made it even better. Drink prices were fair, and we scored some great deals on beers they were trying to move--so definitely ask for specials! The staff was super friendly, from the front counter to the bartenders, and the bathrooms were clean and fresh. Overall, we had a great time and will definitely be back next time we're in town. Thanks, Player 1 Arcade!

Yelp
Player 1 Video Game Bar: where I hoped to redeem myself after getting kicked out of the Pinball Museum for excessive cat cuddling (don't ask). Luckily, I managed to behave myself and avoid any ghostly ejections... this time. The verdict? This place is a retro gaming paradise! With beer on tap, delicious drinks, and a rad selection of arcade cabinets and old-school consoles, I was in heaven. And the best part? Most of the games actually worked - a rare feat in the world of retro gaming! The crowd was super chill, and I even got to relive my Pac-Man glory days without any pesky ejections. Just remember, the pinball machines are quarter-only, so don't get too excited and try to gobble up those pellets with your bare hands (trust me, l've been there).

Yelp
My gamer peeps would probably be better qualified to review Player 1 but as an outsider to the gaming community, I thought this was an amazing concept. The space integrates various settings & scenarios where one could possibly game -- at an old school arcade, at a bar, in the man cave of some rich, eccentric friend whose collected retro pinball machines, on your comfiest recliner with every console imaginable. We visited with a couple video game aficionados & while they expertly navigated the ins & outs of Player 1 (did they just challenge total strangers at the bar?!), we stuck to anything that looked vaguely familiar -- Pac Man, Super Mario, Space Invaders, racing & shooting games I don't know the names of. No need for tokens; $8 cover charge ($5 for locals) buys you unlimited game access. An arcade full of noisy kids & teens sounds like actual torture but Player 1 is a 21+ over establishment with an impressive beer selection & attentive bartenders. What Big Kid wouldn't love that?

Yelp
Great place to experience many of the classics from the golden age of arcade games and pinball machines. Also, the entire evolution of game consoles from the beginning of time. There are 50 craft beers on tap, and even more in cans. I started out with one of their beer mixes, Kong's Chocolate Banana. This is a draft blend of Well's Banana Bread Beer and Rogue Nitro Chocolate Stout. Next, I enjoyed a 16-ounce can of Irie Jungle 2023, which is an IPA collaboration between Tripping Animals Brewing Co. (Doral, FL) and Hop Revolution (New Zealand). It's 10% alcohol by volume was not lost on me. The two or three bartenders were spread thin--similar to the arcade classics, Tapper and Root Beer Tapper--but they provide great service. My favorite arcade game has always been Punch Out. I can easily get through all of the guys once, to become champ. After that, they become harder to beat, but I can get twice through all of them if I really work at it. Donkey Kong, Centipede, and Millipede are some of the other classics that I enjoyed. This is a great place to come with a group of friends. Gauntlet is a classic that four people can play simultaneously, cooperating through the progressively challenging mazes. What I don't understand about this place is that only some of the arcade games have drink holders. Why not all of them? Consequently, you have to set your drink on the ground for many of the arcade games.

Yelp
Came from out of town and had a great experience here Dec 2022. Cool place to get away from the strip area if that's what you're looking for. Prices were reasonable.

Yelp
We came here for a friend's birthday party. This place is a video gamer's heaven. There are so many different games! It's honestly amazing. The drink were really creative and good. The food is like movie theater type of junk food - popcorn, hotdogs, hot pretzels. Really fun atmosphere. The location of the bar is in a questionable part of town, but I wouldn't let that deter you from going.

Yelp
Decided to try this spot out on a Wednesday. First time here and was pleasantly surprised with the nostalgia this place brought as soon as we walked in. There was a $5 cover charge which includes unlimited arcade games and console games. Pinball machines are not included. We went to the bar and I was wowed by the number of beers they had on tap. I'm not a big beer person, but felt like I had to try at least one. I had a raspberry ale which was amazing. I believe it was called Dekkon or something like that. The bar tender, Nelson, was friendly and helpful when we asked for his opinion. I also had a couple of mixed drinks. It was Weeb Wednesday and they had a few vendors set up selling goods. It was cool. The ambiance was great and selection of arcade games was awesome! They have a small selection of snacks such as nachos, a very large pretzel, popcorn, etc. later in the evening they had a taco cart and funnel cake person set up outside. I would recommend you not go hungry as the snacks didn't really curb my hunger. Overall, I will go back and recommend for a date night, after dinner.

Michael I.

Yelp
Here's what stands out to me the most about Player1. They have multiple consoles that you can just go sit down in front of and play. Xbox, playstation and more. A ton of beer on tap and a full bar. To get in is cheap and drinks are cold and reasonable. I will mention that the staff seemed to be dressed up and didn't really enjoy it. It's not a deal breaker that the staff must be dressed up if you want to relax the dress code they can dress regular and I wouldn't care.

Dan L.

Yelp
Had a great time here as they have an amazing selection of older games that bring back the nostalgia of my bachelor days. Ordered drinks at the bar and settled into some cozy couches to play various Xbox games with my old roommate. Service was excellent and will definitely will be coming back.

Yelp
We came in as a group activity with my man's co-workers. I hadn't done any research into this place other than being told it was a bar where you can play arcade games so I was a bit shocked and annoyed at the $5 cover. However, upon entering the establishment, I think the $5 is very much worth it. The person who we paid at the entrance was super informative and very nice. She allowed us to store our leftovers and we picked them back up when we left for the night. Super easy and I very much appreciated this. The bartenders were also very attentive and courteous. I'm not a big gamer but my hubs and his co-workers are so this place was like a playland for them. I was most interested in the pinball machines but those cost money. I wish they were a bit cheaper but my extra $5 went to good use. There were also more old school games I wanted to play on the old tube TVs but most of them were out of order. This is why I gave 4 instead of 5, a lot of the games we were most excited to play were out of order. The place is dark and loud but I think that ambiance is exactly what's needed for a place like this. You can get a bit rowdy playing games and not be shushed. There is an extensive drink menu, especially beers and there are some bar food options. We didn't eat but we watched people eat and not going to lie, the food actually looked delicious. We'll find out next time if it is or not. Can't wait to come back in and hopefully more games will be available.

Janae T.

Yelp
Player 1 was bigger than I expected and every corner of the building was a surprise. The cover charge was $8. All the games are Free play except for the pinball machines. The bar extends damn near wall to wall and it was packed. There are so many arcade games all around the floor, of so many kinds. The pinball machines were lined up against a wall, against another wall were tvs and video games like wii games etc, in a back section they had big screen tvs with a few game like chairs and you could rent out game controllers. The bar had a wide variety of beer, ciders, cocktails, snacks and non-alcoholic beverages etc. The prices were moderate not too pricey. I was really surprised at the size of the place. 10/10 Hidden Gem in Vegas (P.s. opened until 5am)

Shannon W.

Yelp
This is a really fun place! You just pay an entry fee at the door and all of the video games in the place are free! Except the pinball games. I guess they don't own those so you still have to pay. But there are all kinds of other games. It's great. The only bad thing is that they weren't all working. There were a couple of games that I wanted to play that I couldn't. But the ones I did play were a blast. I think it could be a fabulous place if they offered real food though. They only have snack bar food. People would hang out longer and spend more money if they had a meal. But other than that it's great.

Yelp
This place is a millenial's DREAM! On a recent trip to Vegas on a guys trip, this place turned out to be the highlight. 10 year old me would have my mind blown to know this is type of establishment existed. Imagine what it's like play TMNT or The Simpsons with all your friends, without inserting any coins! Concept is simple - you pay a $5 cover, and then have access to unlimited video games. They have an impressive collection of consoles and arcade machines that stretch all the way back to the 80s, as well as modern day consoles too. They have a great beer bar with a decent selection cans/bottles as well as draft. Service is friendly, and the bartenders are all dressed the part with the video game theme. For those from NYC, imagine Barcade with a much better game selection, and all the games are unlimited and free. Talk about a dream. Whenever I'm back in Vegas, definitely coming back!

Yelp
First time in tonight! Beelined immediately to the MvC2 and Rival Schools cabinets and it felt like I was right in my heyday again when I'd procrastinate after school and play these games instead. They have an awesome selection of sours, too! As someone who usually drinks ambers and stouts and was looking for a change of pace, thank you to Michelle for being my ambassador to sours for the night! The blueberry muffin sour is a must!

Vanessa A.

Yelp
10/10!!!! So fun. I read some yelp reviews and I was a little bit hesitant initially to go because I heard some of the gaming machines were broken. But turns out, you can still enjoy yourself regardless of that. luckily, I didn't come across any broken machines and I had a splendid time with some friends. I went with a couple friends on a Friday night, and had a great time. Shout out to the bartender in the kingdom hearts outfit who was super fast and making our drinks. Honestly all the bartenders were really on top of it, especially given how busy it was. We had a great time! There's a lot of different options for seating, if you wanna just take a drink and enjoy a game, but no pressure either way. I find that the options are really nice. We managed to get a seat at the bar to play smash, and they have options of different games you can play on each Consol. It's $5 to play the console games, we played GTA 5 on the PlayStation for a bit. Then we played the games on the switch for no additional cost. Met some great people, and the bartenders really do check on you to see if you want to order anything else and to make sure you're having a good time. I recommend playing some games on the PS4, switch, and then checking out the ddr machine nearby. It's great. The customer service is great, and the place is pretty well-maintained. Especially for a busy night. Don't worry about the other reviews, I didn't notice any smell when I was there, so I'm not really sure what people referring to. The location is def in a shadier part of town, but when you get another place feels really nice and safe. Great staff working there. I love what they've done with the place I really enjoyed it, and you don't have to be a big gamer to have a fun time Also, I should mention the cocktails are split! They don't have any tequila, but their drinks are made really well. I ordered a soju, along with two cocktails. I really like the "princess peach" and the "vice city" especially if you like sweeter cocktails. My friend likes to order AMF's, so they gave her a "game over" drink which was pretty strong and super similar as welll. They have a really nice menu! Thanks so much for making our Friday evening so fun

Yelp
Listen if you live video games or date someone that loves video games, this place is it! Ladies listen when I tell you, you'll score major points with your bf when you bring him here! This place has old school and new school games and is a great ambiance! Everyone seems super chill and friendly and no one hogged the games while we were there! The menu was pretty simple, it seemed like they were serving up Dominos pies but had some plenty of mixed drinks and beers to go around at a fully stocked bar! It seems to be open pretty late as well and we thought it was awesome that your wristband was good for the day, so you could leave and come back! Would def go here again for a chill but fun date night!

Morgan B.

Yelp
This is a great place for anyone 21 and over to play both new and old style video games. Inexpensive and you can stay as long as you want leave and come back too. The floor was a little sticky near a few games. People are very nice and waite their turn to play games or.move on to another. Maybe 2 or 3 games were down for maintenence. They also keep count if how many people go in and out at all times. As we were leaving someone had walked near the exit with a drink while they were talking to a staff member she dropped and spilled half her drink. The staff member noticed and went to grab a mop and a broom to clean up the glass.

Tammy W.

Yelp
Nice place to experience if you are a gamer. There is a cover fee. Not much. The big pretzels are delicious! Service is alright this was my first time here. I went for my nieces 21st birthday! She & her bf loved it! The ambiance was good we sat at the bar most of the time!

Tiara H.

Yelp
I instantly fell in love with this bar once i walked in and seen all the amazing retro games from my childhood . This place brought back so many memories, i had came back a few more times with my friends that i know enjoy video gaming just as much as i do . It's only $5 to enter and you have free range to all the games in there at no cost . My favorite part is the Super Nintendo i played that for hours . They offered free popcorn and some food items along with drinks manly beer , if you are ready for food or drinks be prepared for a wait as it took like 15 excuse me's just to place our order. Definitely recommend everyone who loves video games especially those from the past to come visit the bar.

Tim P.

Yelp
Awesome place. Good staff, tons of fun. Will definitely be back when I revisit. Great pinball machines + tons of free games

Don H.

Yelp
Service was good and the atmosphere was awesome. Have to pay for parking, but it was simple through a text.

Frances K.

Yelp
Took my bf here, we had a blast !!! For the price it was definitely worth it. For locals it's only a $3-5 entry fee. Game play are free. Drinks were 10% off with your wristband. Jose was our bartender and he did a great job, he did forget to discount our drinks but it was an honest mistake and he ended up giving us a complimentary popcorn. The only issue I would say is a few of the machines were not working and some were very sticky. But overall, we had a blast !

Chris M.

Yelp
So much potential, but kind of cheaped out. First off, coming in from out of town, this isn't in the greatest part of town. I had no problems, and it's not exactly somewhere I'd call scary, just maybe a little unsettling. The Uber ride in was a little interesting. Despite the owner's statement that a $5 cover gets you in, we paid $8. Not a huge deal. The employee taking the cover charge was in a lazy cosplay outfit, and she could not have seemed more bored. About the cosplay on the employees ... completely unnecessary. I get it, you're going for a theme, but it was clearly half-assed by the two people I saw working there. I don't think anybody going there really cares if the employees are dressed up. And I'm sure they'd appreciate not having to go to the effort. The games ... it is super cool seeing old favorites. Joust. Pengo. Punch Out. Q-Bert. A few of these games I haven't seen literally in decades. However, two of my favorites (Pengo and Galaga) had failing joysticks, which are kind of a big deal when playing a game. Pengo didn't like to go up, and the control area of the machine was kind of sticky. I'm not a germaphobe, but with that being the first game I played, it made me a little more germ-conscious than I usually am. Galaga occasionally didn't like to go right. When I told the guy behind the bar, he just said "yeah, we know". They're old machines, and clearly in used condition, so I kind of understand, but it's disappointing. That said, anything else I played worked just fine. A few games were turned off, as well. About the bar. Great selection of beers, menu only available on your phone, which is adequate, but a menu or board is always nice. When I told the guy at the bar (which took about three visits in between games to actually find someone at the bar, which was also disappointing) what I wanted, he was confused by my order and it work him a while to figure out which beer I was requesting. All said and done, I enjoyed the visit. Glad I went, but the frustrations were enough that I'm not aching to go back.

Doriee L.

Yelp
My friend has been telling me about this place for a very long time but we never made our way here. It's not particularly close to where we live and we are typically very lazy to go far. But! Last week, we were able to check it out. First, there is a cover charge and it is the same any day/night you go. The good part is that you only pay this once. Yes, you can leave the establishment at any point in time and go back in without having to repay that fee. If you are a local, you get a discount and you only pay about $5 and some change. If you are not a local, it will cost you $8. However, if you are a non-local that is going with a local, you will be able to pay the price of the local. FYI, the cover charge can only be paid with card. They do not accept cash at the front. They also check everyone's ID as soon as you step into the establishment so be sure to have your ID card ready. All the arcade games are free to play. The pinball machines are not free and depending on the machine, they can be anywhere from $0.50 per game or higher. The newer, more modern machines generally cost more. I believe most of the console games are free as well -- you pay need to put down a deposit to get a controller. When you check the controller back in, you'll get your deposit back. Some of the arcade games are well kept while some weren't. There were some machines that weren't working and/or had broken components (i.e. one of the guitars for the Guitar Hero game did not work). They had mostly older games which gave it a unique and retro vibe. They even had a DDR machine, which is neat! There is a bar where you can order drinks and food. When we went, we did try two of their beers. They do carry some beers that I haven't had before so that is always exciting to me. Overall, pretty decent place to hang out and have fun. I think I have a few friends that would love to come where when they visit Vegas. I have been to other arcade bars in NYC and Chicago and I personally really like the concept. I do like that the games are free to play so I don't have to fumble with coins but I also feel that I spend less when I do pay to play -- mainly because I'm not usually there for a long time. So, if you just want to come to try beers at the bar but don't want to play games, it kind of sucks. Despite that, I think I'll definitely be back with some friends.

Deadra T.

Yelp
Cool cool place. Ambiance is a total 80's vibe! We LOVED it!!! All the old school video games; centipede, donkey Kong, pac man, you name it, they had it. The bar serves beer. Service was quick. I recommend you come by at least once. It's a cool spot. Very nostalgic.

jeff s.

Yelp
This place is fun! I paid I think around 5 dollars and some change for unlimited video games. All the games were set to free play. The drinks were fairly cheap and the games were in decent shape. Really for the price of free play and drinks why would you burn your money on the strip for? If I lived in Las Vegas I would come here more often just to play video games. Also bathrooms pretty clean and lots of free parking.

Erica T.

Yelp
I visited Player 1 on a regular night earlier this month. I saw that they have special event nights as well. Pros: Host was genuinely interested in helping visitors have a good experience. I was blown away when I walked in and saw many respected games in good condition with great gameplay, and games of historical interest. The staff was dressed as video game characters, and there were live DJs. There were so many good games that I stayed to play past 2AM. Cons: The area for newer consoles is a closed off dark room of couches and no staff in view unless you call them over, zero women in there. Bartender was weird and not nice but condescending and mean. After we ordered he just lingered to scowl and explain the menu even though my husband ordered simple items word-for-word directly from the menu. It was very strange. He prepared food and $12 drinks out of view and the result was only partially edible and drinks that were sadly not fit to drink and he didn't notice or care. I want to visit again because of how fun the gaming was, but I hope the bar is better. I just saw some negative reviews about a hostess but the one we met was a gem.

Mike M.

Yelp
Well I got a response back from the owner. Granted he thought I would like a bud light when I stated a bus Weiser, blue moon or Heineken in my review. However his tasteful words and assumptions show the negative business sense he has and why it's so run down and also within a trashy neighborhood. Granted I didn't write the review for him. I wrote it for the public, this way the public knows. It would be obvious the owner would know the state of his business and the level over broken down machines and dirty atmosphere because he is sucking the life out of his own business. Read the response with his negativity and let's let him go out of business like he deserves.

Yelp
I loved this little video game bar! For a small entrance fee, you get access to a number of games! Just a chill, relaxing, fun night! Hoping to come back soon!

Yelp
Organized a meetup of a streamer community (Grinding Gear) during FFXIV Fanfest 2023 on a Friday night in 104degF+. Expected 60~100 participants (feels like we smashed that estimate). The staff were courteous and patient with the swarm of hungry and neophyte bargoers alike. With a wide selection of beers on tap and specialized nerdy mixed cocktails (Mana Potion, Phoenix Down, etc), accompanied with good bar food staples (the pizza and pretzels were a blessing after a long con day). With a massive selection of video games from vintage (cabinets and console) to modern games on big screens over the bar and in the VIP area (a waist-high wall separate section) with gamer seating able to accommodate most parties. The manager kept the music pumping with DJs and extra details (status glow bands) that made the experience memorable. They really understood the audience for the event night. Would recommend for every party and can't wait to come back. One last thing: If you're looking to make reservations just give the front desk a call, thank you Sabrina, the event coordinator email wasn't the most reliable.

Yelp
I was bored and as I'm new to Vegas I googled "Adult Bar Fun" and Player 1 was in the top 3 list of fun places. It's a large establishment with tons of arcade games, and almost every system you could think of. It has "lounge" areas with couches and large televisions that you can sit and enjoy gaming. This place has a vast draft beer selection! He price of admission is 7 dollars (card) only and it includes unlimited game play minus the pinball machines. The waiter was friendly and made a great beer recommendation. If your looking for a fun place with no minors this is a great off the beaten path place!

Yelp
The idea of this bar is great. All of the games and systems from over the years available to you while having decent drafts beers and other mixed drinks. However, they're very understaffed and overwhelmed on any busier days. I'd suggest some more bartenders, preferably with more gaming knowledge, as niche as that might be but other than that, Player 1 is a refreshing atmosphere change compared to other bars here in Vegas!

Yelp
Didn't try the food, didn't really see anyone eating, mostly a bar. Really cool concept. You get to play unlimited games with an entry fee, but really cheap. Drinks are pretty cheap, nothing fancy but will do the trick. I'd go again with a group of friends.

Yelp
The best cosmopolitan ever by the sweetest bartender Heather! Thank you for taking care of us! We'll be back for more!

Yelp
On Wednesday, December 20, 2023, my friend and I came here. We sat the the bar for 25 minutes and got completely ignored by Michelle. She made eye contact with us multiple times, so obviously she saw us. We then moved directly in front of her and STILL ignored us for an additional 10 minutes. At this point, we got up and left. We spoke to the manager on our way out and she refunded our money. This place is a disappointment. The concept is great but with shitty service. We won't be back again. Spend your money elsewhere.

Yelp
Such a great spot! Solid beer list, lots of consoles and arcade games available (all free except for pinball) and nice 80s/synth atmosphere throughout the place. If you grew up with video games, you'll love hanging out here. I used to drive by this place multiple times a week. Finally went in and so glad I did.

Yelp
I really like this place. There is an entrance fee but then you receive unlimited game time on the machines. They have a lot of the oldie but goodie arcade games and gaming consoles available to play on the big screens. The bar is rather large and they have a few options for food that the bartender makes. They were simple but good. They also have a large beer selection. What really impressed me was the cider selection, most places have 1 or 2 but they have multiple. The parking is also convenient. No parking and walking or paying for parking. They have a lot right outside. This is a great place for weeknight, weekday, date night or just to grab a few drinks with friends. The staff has always been friendly and I highly recommend checking it out.

Yelp
Wow, is all I have to say to the owner, he is adding more to his response than ever really happened. Nobody talked to his staff like that nor was anyone in tears. Also I never berated his staff previously. If you're staff was wrong just admit to it, don't lie just to justify your lack of service and lack of reason you revoked my expensive membership. Btw sticking up for myself and my integrity is what I will always do, I've posted how you've added to your story to gain sympathy so you're right let whom ever make up their own mind.

Yelp
I've gone to several arcade bars, but Player1 was the greatest because of how well the concept is executed there! Excellent craft beer, clear signage, helpful staff who are knowledgeable about their products, and a variety of well-selected old-school arcade games! It just cost $5 for locals and $10 for foreigners to play games. Every arcade game and console game is available for free to play! I had a blast at Player 1 and am eagerly anticipating my replay!

Yelp
I'm not a gamer and I had never been to an arcade bar before where I also actually played games. There's a $5 entrance fee plus tax. That leaves you to play unlimited minus the pinball games. I think that's a decent deal. Be aware a lot of the games are not working well or not even plugged in. However I had a good time with the ones that did work. The whole place is impressive and I love the info plaques that tells you the year and amount of games sold, very cool! They got an enormous drink menu. The bar is impressive with a display of games and consoles on a time line. I really liked it here even I'm not a gamer!!!

Yelp
First time here, LOCALS COME ON DOWN! HALF PRICE ADMISSION & 10%off drinks on Sunday ! JEFF never met you but I applaud your Vision you've made a reality. Love the Timeline on the Bar, And Appreciate you Calling out the Whining customers about dumb sh*t like Retro Games breaking/ buttons sticking, Let's be Realistic... Also The Collection of Stern Pinball, Very expensive and Top Quality Pinball Machines right there. Side Note: I Currently have the High Score on Super Mario Bros. On the Super Nintendo. I've heard about this Notorious sewage smell, I still hold true to the 5 stars because some things you can't control but let's just say Unfortunately I was at the Super Nintendo console for a while. Great Business & Thanks for the Local Discount Jeff !

Yelp
I was here on Wednesday, July 6, 2022, for Weeb Wednesday. I'm visiting from out of town but have family and friends in Vegas so I visit pretty often. This was actually my first time at Player 1. My gaming friends that I had met through Twitch thought it was only appropriate to take me here while I was on my momcation. It's a cool, little spot and fun with friends. That night there were vendor booths set up. My friend got some cute and quality scrunchies there. I think that if you're in retro games, there are plenty of arcade machines there. There are also console games but the newer systems were never available while we were there because it was packed that night and someone always beat us to a spot. I really enjoyed the pinball machines there even though it was not free to play (with included admission). Some games were not working but I did see an employee walking around, trying to fix some of it.

Yelp
Love love love this place! My guy found this hidden gem on yelp! It's very chill and relaxing barcade. They have the old and new game consoles spread throughout whole place, very spacious! Definitely be back next time we are in the city.

Yelp
The staff here is extremely rude. I didn't have a pleasant experience here, nor did I have a pleasant experience with their social media team when I tried to rectify my unpleasant experience. As such, I would not refer ANY of my friends to come here. There are plenty more openly accepting places for nerds and gamers in Las Vegas. Update: See the extremely immature and unprofessional response from the "owner" below if you have any doubts about the accuracy of my review. Yikes. The ignorance speaks for itself. Steer clear!

Yelp
Wow- never knew these place even existed! So we are here for a party and the service for one is awesome. Chase and Elaine are so accommodating! When you go to the bar, the bartenders are so knowledgeable about the different kinds of beers and are so patient. I really had a great experience and ordered for the first time the captain crunch and berries, and it's not only unique but such a good drink!! The games were all free! They have pinball, DDR, Guitar hero, shooting games, and even all the old Skool games. Definitely love the concept of this place and the drinks! Will definitely be back, and I highly recommend checking it out! Party with friends or date night!

Yelp
Player 1 Las Vegas is an absolute gem for us gamers, ladies included! Trust me, this place is a total blast. As soon as you step inside, you're greeted by the lively atmosphere and an incredible variety of arcade games that'll make your heart skip a beat. The staff there is so friendly and welcoming, always ready to assist you with a smile. And let me tell you, they take real good care of those machines. You won't have to worry about a glitchy joystick or a broken button ruining your fun. The space is thoughtfully designed, providing plenty of room to move around comfortably. Plus, they've got cozy seating options where you can take a break and enjoy some refreshments. It's the perfect setup for a gaming marathon! Whether you're a hardcore gamer or just love to dabble in some arcade fun, Player 1 Las Vegas is an absolute must-visit. It's a place where you can let loose, relive nostalgic moments, and create new gaming memories. Don't miss out on this incredible gaming haven, ladies!

Yelp
The place had a really cool concept paying a one time fee for unlimited play. The game selections are vast and awesome. The beer selections are dope too with local selections as well. The reason for the two stars, the smell. It's awful! As soon as you finish paying the smell hits you. I couldn't enjoy my beer, couldn't get over it like some could, and only stuck around for two hours because my girlfriend really wanted to play the most of the games. The smell is so awful she finally gave in and said we could leave. The smell made it unbearable to stay. Hopefully that gets resolved, because I would love to come back and actually enjoy the place.
