The 13 Best Old-School Diners and Greasy Spoons in South Florida | Eater Miami
"This Miramar diner is a great place to get a fix of gyros, spanakopita, and pastitsio along with eggs any way you like them. The menu has all the usual suspects, just like you’d want in a diner, although one breakfast item that Plaza Diner is known explicitly for is the heart attack sandwich. It features gyro meat, ham, sausage, bacon, three fried eggs, and cheese." - Eater Staff
Decided to go here as it had really good reviews and I love classic diner’s. To me it looks like an old friendly’s restaurant just painted. Inside it gives off the cozy appearance and a local spot. Server very friendly and was the table quickly. Drinks came back quickly and ordered food. The milkshakes were great so I had high hopes for the food. Wife ordered the waffle, I tried it and was ok not impressed as it was soggy not crispy. I had the Rueben panini with the macaroni salad. I must say the macaroni salad was homemade and good after I added salt and pepper, that is a matter of taste. The Rueben was odd as I have never had a panini that used like a Sam’s club flatbread. Not for me and wasn’t impressed as I love Rueben’s. Son ordered the other Rueben and wasn’t impressed with the bread. Meat was good. Personally felt the interior could have been cleaner. Again my opinion!

We happened upon this place on our way to Cooperstown and what a gem! Service top notch, friendly staff, fresh and delicious salad bar and every plate we ordered was delicious!!! Fresh made everything! If you’re near here, eat here!

It's your typical, good quality diner. I've had several meals here and enjoyed all the food. It's a bit pricier than I prefer for a diner, but it is better food than the other places I've tried in the area.

Pricey for a diner. The breakfast sandwich was terrible.

The quality of the food does not match the prices unfortunately. The burger was very good but almost $4 for a cup of coffee or soda is a lot! The oil for the fries must have been bad. Dark and funky tasting. The breakfast is not good there. The waitresses are always wonderful.

Lovely lunch at Plaza Diner in their new location. The salad bar remains a great choice. The space is bright and welcoming. This is a Greek diner so you can't go wrong choosing a Greek entree. We had a relaxed lunch with attentive staff. Will return again.

$32 for a NY Strip that was soaked in auju. Instant potatoes, and canned gravy. I Should have just went to store and paid 20 for 2 steaks and had real potatoes and homemade gravy FOR 2 PEOPLE. Used to be great food, went way down hill. The prices for the quality is definitely not worth it.

Had breakfast there on 8/17. Waited 20 minutes for ONE cup of coffee. Waited an additional 45 minutes for eggs. Had to chase our server down for the check which she never brought so we had to get it from the hostess. When you serve don't expect a good tip if you don't provide SERVICE!!!
