Popular Restaurant Hopdoddy Burger Bar Is Opening In East Austin | Eater Austin

"A forthcoming East Austin development chosen in part for its location and the mix of co-tenants; it is set to house a new burger restaurant in late 2019 and a variety of other concepts. Announced or expected tenants include an expanding San Antonio Southeast Asian seafood restaurant, an affordable supermarket from Whole Foods, a second Austin gelato shop from an artisanal maker, a brunch chain, the first Texas outpost of a Spanish tapas chain, and additional retailers and eateries." - Nadia Chaudhury

Clean station and rail runs on time. Great way to see the city. Also lots of benches to sit while waiting.

Here's a 5-star review for a train station: Plaza Saltillo is clean, well-maintained, and offers a stress-free travel experience. The staff is friendly and helpful, and there are plenty of amenities to keep you comfortable while you wait for your train. #easytravel #greatamenities #helpfulstaff

Not much going on here during the week other than being a MetroRail stop. The Austin city council recently approved a large mixed use development project for the site. The surrounding neighborhood is undergoing a radical transformation from mostly single family, working class homes, to monotonous low rise, high density housing projects. The Plaza Saltillo project is billed as transit-oriented development. If it looks good and functions as advertised it will make this place a destination.

Coolest looking train station stop on the route. It's getting a makeover right now which is cool. Also there's 3 pokestops within one place. So that's pretty chill if you just wanna farm up some pokestops.

I am a fan of public transportation. A few notes: There are benches and shade There is foliage but it's not well maintained It's in perfect walking distance of some east Austin Hangouts It's a quick scoot to 6th. Support the capmetro 550!

Another amazing station filled with culture and life. The murals help show the city's diversity and growth of moving forward to the future.

Architectural features, historic atmosphere, quaint & charming for a commuter train station. Ensconced in condo construction, ergo trendy eastside stuff nearby. 💁🏽
