Potato carbonara pizza, heck yes! Food is great, drinks are delicious and service/vibe is chill! Such a great spot to hang in the summer! They open all the windows and have seating all along the outside of the restaurant! Definitely one on our rotation!

Google
Love the unique pizzas on the menu! Drinks were super yummy! Unfortunately, the pizza was super thin and didn't hold well on structure, but if thin pizza is your thing, you came to the right spot. The service didn't feel welcoming and felt a little odd to sit inside. Overall, it's a good pizza date spot but probably won't visit again.

Trendy place for cocktails and pizzas with good vibes 😎 Went there on Friday night just missed their happy hour 😭.The cocktails were pretty good. We ordered gin & tonic and Spritz. Perfect for a hot summer night. The place has good amount of outdoor seating. The location is also good (right in slab town where a lot of young professionals live). The pizza was also pretty good. Oven baked to perfection. Highly recommend if you are nearby. Try not to miss their happy hours which is everyday during early afternoon hours. 😛

Come here many times for a quick dinner as well as solo dining outside when it’s nice out! The pizza is always consistent, has a nice crunch to the crust. The potato carbonara has a white sauce and is one of their most unique options. They do a solid margherita pizza too! My favorite way to dine is to do half and half of a pizza which helps those of us plagued with indecisiveness. The burrata appetizer is very delicious especially with the olive tapenade and focaccia. Drinks are also very delicious. It’s a very vibey place to catch up with a small group of friends, solo dine, or enjoy for date night.

Google
I've been wanting to come here for a while and finally had the opportunity yesterday. I'll definitely be coming back. The pizza was good, but the shareable plates and drinks were my favorite. I only wish I had more room for dessert. They have a pretty good happy hour, the ambiance is lovely and the servers are friendly and attentive.

Google
Triple pepperoni isn't basic, Top Level flavor! margarita, I can't compare cause I haven't had that before now. But the triple pepp was better imo. Service was attentive. $$ - $$$ price range.

Google
A pleasantly healthy patio bar. The specialty pizza options were well crafted and the best part is that they had a great selection of gourmet salads!

Google
We were able to sit down right away. Server was very sweet and helpful! I had the potato carbonara which was delicious!! I also had the Rose Spritz which was a party in my mouth😳 If I lived around here I would DEFINITELY be going back!

Yelp
pizza was stellar. id give it an 8.4. the ambiance was great as well. we got the artichoke pizza and i would highly recommend it.. we'll definitely be back. the service felt like it was struggling a little, maybe short staffed or something because it took a while to get seated, orders in, and food out but everyone was super kind. hopefully that was just a one time thing. props to the kitchen though they killed it!

Yelp
Lovely, open ambience with large windows. Modern seatings both inside and out. Their cocktails were enticing. The Aeromexico was lemony and refreshing. For pies, there were also many interesting ones. We went with the Fennel Sausage, Wild Mushroom, Artichoke, and the Special Asparagus. All were tasty but the Wild Mushroom and Asparagus stood out. Love the rich gorgonzola that paired really well with the assortment of mushrooms and honey. The pistachio pesto on the Asparagus one was nutty and crunchy. Their dough was also flavorful, making the crust somewhat irresistable! However, I would have liked the base to be cooked a little more. We had a bit of kerfuffle with our order but the staffs were nice enough to give us half off all the pies. Friendly service to say the least.

Yelp
Yummy pizza options! Creative with local ingredients. I wish they stayed open later. Nice service. Clean and modern if a bit sterile. Open, friendly vibes.

Yelp
This place is nearby my office and is a great spot for an after work gathering. The serving staff is a one man show who is very excellent in his service. The pizza was pretty good! Nothing ground breaking and I wish there were more options. The potato carbonara pizza is reminiscent of breakfast, and left me wishing for a bit more salt. The triple pepperoni has different types of pepperoni. The arugula salad is a great salad for salad haters like myself. Slabtown mule is very refreshing! I wouldn't pick to go out of my way to visit, but the experience there was good.

Yelp
My granddaughter was turning 15, so her parents decided to take the family there for dinner, and cake & ice cream at their house after. We've been here before, with the same family! We ate outside. We ordered the Pan Fried Calamari, & the Salumi board + Focaccia. Wild Mushroom Pizza, Pepperoni Pizza (spec. order), the Pasta Meatballs, Chitarra, Kids pasta. And drinks. I had my first Slabtown Mule, but a Hillsdale Mule instead. Everybody thought their food were great, even the kids ate theirs. We took our leftover, since we enjoy it best on the 2nd day around, specially pizza! Note: The Mushroom pizza is a bit salty, for my taste, I think it's coming from the cheese! (We took the leftover Mushroom pizza home, as usual, but when I go look for it, hubby throw it away! I guess, he decided if it was any good worth having for lunch another day, or not! He does that, if he doesn't like things, just throw it away, or cut it off, without my permission!) Service is good, even the youngest spilling his cold water on him, didn't break the glass (thank God!), but I asked for another napkin. . .and restroom is clean BUT, both rolls of toilet paper is empty. I have to reach high up for a paper napkin to use. After I'm done, I found a roll of toilet paper, above the paper napkin dispenser. Too late! (I was going to ask the waitress, no burned edges on my pizza. It was perfect!)

Yelp
Yes, Please Louise! I bookmarked Please Louise after smelling the goodness wafting from the restaurant after walking around the area. I didn't get to enjoy the space this time ordering to go but I was curious of their wild mushroom with the honey and the potato carbonara with the egg yolk. Both pizzas were a nice size and smelled sooo good! I took it to go so just heated it up slightly in the oven but both pizzas had a good crust and had plenty of toppings. The potato carbonara with some peppers and hot sauce on the side was my favorite! The wild mushroom was also great and loved the gorgonzola on it to add some more creaminess. We stayed a bit in the place as we were picking up and it had a great decor. Looking at some boards they also have some specials for apps, pizza, and non pizza for the night so be sure to check those out. Overall really cute space and the staff we interacted with was friendly. Good thin crust pizzas with unique flavor combinations while having classic options.

Yelp
Lovely pizza place! Their arugula salad is fantastic, it's the perfect salad before dinner. I've been here 4 times and each time I have NOT been disappointed. My go to is the margarita pizza. They have a rotating board menu of a special cocktail and pizza, check it out.
google avatar

Yelp
I thought I went to a pizza shop/ But instead. It's a cheese bread with a little bit of sauce. Definitely way over hyped. The meat ball was dry and tasteless. Big disappointment. The pizza itself just saggy and blah. Not good
google avatar

Sarah W.

Yelp
The food is absolutely delicious! I had the burrata which came with plenty of bread and a bacon-less version of the carbonara pizza. So good!
google avatar

Jessyca M.

Yelp
Placed my order over the phone, repeated it twice and got confirmation from the person on the phone, even with that they got my order wrong but fixed right away. Warmed up the pizza at home slightly. It was so good but so so good, I'm not afraid to say this is the best pizza I have ever had in the Portland area, I ordered half mushroom, half artichoke pie... generous on the toppings, it was crispy, full of flavor.. Definitely will give it a try to dine in soon :)

Yelp
A once favorite that we've gone to each month for years. But the gradual decline in quality and service hit a breaking point today. Without a doubt the worst old fashioned's we've ever had. Pointed out to the server that clearly somehow a bad perfume had been mixed into the drink, but they somehow didn't notice and didn't do anything about it. Without exaggeration, we can't get the taste of "old church" out of our mouths. They used to have great cocktails and pizza. The first old fashioned was just as good as always. Clearly quality is all over the board and the service can't keep up with the expectations that rising costs will bring. Will not be back unfortunately.
google avatar

Yelp
I'm new to the area and have been trying new spots around the neighborhood. Please Louise is super cute -- their decor, aesthetic, and vibes are 10/10 and the service was friendly. I placed an order for takeout over the phone and it was ready within about 20 minutes. Now the reason for 2 stars: my margherita pizza was incredibly SALTY. It was so overpowering, I could barely eat two slices. Felt like a waste of $18. Such a bummer too since this place is so close to me. I'm not a picky pizza eater either but this was a complete miss.

Yelp
We arrived at 5pm on Saturday evening and were able to park right in front. We walked in and were seated immediately. The space is small but feels big with the high ceilings and seating all along the exterior of the space with a large communal table in the middle. Service was excellent - super friendly and attentive. And the food was great. We ordered the radicchio Cesar, Arancini, focaccia and burrata to start. Then we had a pizza - half triple pepperoni, half fennel sausage (delicious).

Yelp
Oh Louiseeee, you please me so much. They have happy hour from 3-5pm with $8 Margherita pizzas! We ordered one along with their potato & carbonara pizza. Compared to Life of Pie, I do prefer Please Louise's Margherita. PL's crust is chewier, cheesier, and has more flavor than LoP. Life of Pie is still great, but in my personal opinion, Please Louise has the upper hand on this one. The potato and carbonara pizza was good! Although I did feel a bit underwhelmed by it. I feel like it could've been better if the potatoes were seasoned, somehow...with herbs/rosemary, perhaps. With it being $20, I expected more flavors and a bit more oomph than what I got. Their crust is top notch, not overcooked, chewy, crisp, with a bit of tang to it. Do yourself a favor and come to be pleased by Louise!

Yelp
My husband and I tried this place when things were still closed. We would order to go since we couldn't do dine in. We love their potato carbonara and triple pepperoni. We finally got to sit down and try it out. We had family members with us so we ventured out and tried some appetizers. The focaccia bread is so good. We are a bit sad we couldn't order it the next day for delivery. Staff was very nice and friendly. It's our go too pizza spot now. My husband and I will definitely be going back for dine in service.

Yelp
Haven't been here in a bit though decided to give it another whirl. A very respectable pizza given the price. Only suggestion, get a little more heavy handed with the toppings? Front of the house team on it. Despite being quite busy the two ladies upfront exceptional service/hospitality wise. I'll be back, just give me more toppings Maybe I should request more? Nice neighborhood spot.

Yelp
We went back Friday for more joy! Check out the perfectly baked/crispy crust. Perfect amount of toppings. This is the meatball pizza, and it's a must eat! Service continues to be attentive, and business was brisk as it was Friday. Bring a date, bring your dog, and bring an appetite. So looking forward to our next visit and a different pizza combo!

Yelp
We had such a good dinner here tonight. The food, atmosphere, customer service were all great. One pizza was good enough for both of us, we also had the burrata and the pasta dish. Don't write reviews often. But had to because really loved this place. Check it out. Look forward to going back.
google avatar

Yelp
The menu is very small but amazing wild mushroom pizza. I wasn't expecting all the things to work as well as they did. I can't wait.to go again. It's not very large and service is extremely slow. That works for hanging out and visiting with your people with tasty food.

Patrick D.

Yelp
This place is permanently closed. Buh bye, you won't be missed. Apparently, they have another location in Hillsboro. The suburbanites out there might tolerate bad pizza but Portland has too many good pizza options to put up with the garbage they serve.
google avatar

Cindy I.

Yelp
Great place with a group and they take reservations. Good selection of appetizers along with pizzas prebuilt or build your own. What threw me off is what style of pizza are they going for? I had in my mind Italian but the cheese was pretty heavy and it got too soggy for my taste and for most wood fired Italian pizzas. So... sorry losing a star for that but fun spot to gather and have a fun selection.

Yelp
Came out to Portland for a Day trip and stumbled upon this place with my mom. We got there during Happy Hour and ordered some calamari, and a Margherita pizza. Let me just say this was the BEST pizza I think I've ever had. Super cheesy, not overly greasy and huge slices. We were so happy to have walked by. The calamari was yummy I just wish there was a few extra pieces thrown on there lol. Next time I'm visiting I will definitely be back to try the drinks! They looked so good!
google avatar

Yelp
Please Louise was my first meal in Portland. The pizzas looked really good and it was close to where we were staying. My group ordered a couple, but 2 of the pizzas were a wild mushroom with no gorgonzola, with added ricotta, and a triple pepperoni, with no cheese, with added bacon. We got our order delivered. I think if you eat the pizza there, this could have potentially tasted far better. By the time we got ours, it had cooler just enough to not be amazing. The wild mushroom was pretty good. It was a bit heavy though and I would have appreciated a kick of spice or something. The triple pepperoni was really salty. We got it as a lactose intolerant friendly option, but I think without the cheese and the bacon on top, it was too much. I don't blame the restaurant, it was just a bad decision on our part. On that note, we didn't see a lactose free cheese option when ordering online.

Yelp
So, I've been here a bunch of times and never got around to reviewing it. I've had ordered pretty much everything on the menu. It's all quite delicious and the service is excellent. I'm a pescatarian, so I can't comment on the meat dishes but can tell you what my dining partners thought. Meatballs - my friends and family loved these...soft and fluffy, the meatballs sit in a little puddle of marinara. A pillow or olive oil soaked focaccia adorns the two meatballs. My son and husband could have eaten one each. Calamari - delicious. Have had both the fried and sautéed versions. Both excellent. Arancini - perfectly crisp on the outside and soft in the inside - there's a bit of cheese nestled in the center Margarita pizza - lots of cheese and a little sauce. This is the way my husband prefers Margarita. Perfect, according to him. Both salads are refreshing but a bit on the small side. It is reflective of the price, so it's fine. Happy hour is a bit early but the Margarita is definitely a steal at $8. The happy drinks are also a steal!

Diane R.

Yelp
We came for happy hour (3-6) and were hungry. We enjoyed a Margarita pizza and large meatball. Both were filling and enjoyable. I got a special negroni (delicious but somewhat small) and my husband got a beer. I think that when we return I will try the HH wine. Service was good and the ambiance was that of a contemporary diner (read clean lines, uncluttered decor.)
google avatar

Fiona K.

Yelp
I've only been here for happy hour so can only speak to that experience, but Please Louise does a really good one! Great deals on drinks, snacks, and their margherita pizza. Plus they do their happy hour everyday (even weekends) so definitely recommend checking out if you're in the area.
google avatar

Makaelyn J.

Yelp
Great service, even better food. There was a Karen and the servers did such an amazingly job handling all the drama. Such an open and welcoming environment, will be coming here again!
google avatar

Tom P.

Yelp
Great pizza and friendly service. Prices are reasonable, too! (Actually they are cheap when you consider how good the pizza is.)

Markus F.

Yelp
We just love this place. Have been here many times with small and big groups and they always have yummy pizza which is not just mainstream. Love it and will come back.
google avatar

Julia M.

Yelp
Definitely stop by this place for HH or on a nice day. They open up the huge windows and it's dreamy. We got the Arancini, green salad, mushroom pizza and the margherita pizza. I recommend all the food we tried all fresh and good. The aperol spritz's and the Slabtown mule were classics and well made.
google avatar

Marilyn B.

Yelp
wow you have to try happy hour margarite pizza here no wonder Portland is best pizza city in U S A so hot here but July outside in the evening there is a breeze Save me a slice the size for happy hour is plenty for a whole family the arguela salad is so fresh fresh no photos trust me on thst one Alana was my server so kind and efficient
google avatar

Andrew A.

Yelp
There's an absolute glut of thin wood-fired pizza options (and not ONE Chicago style) in Portland, but if you're gonna have it, eat here. The Margherita with basil satisfied as did three other varieties we ordered. The crust isn't charred like at Otto's, not sure which I prefer. The winner though were the Arancini, I might just indulge in two portions next time and call it a dinner. The Calamari was a bit oily, but full of flavor. The open air vibe is appealing, and service was pleasant. An excellent bar too.
google avatar

Ryan W.

Yelp
I came here on my last night in Portland and I couldn't have been more pleased with the meal. Thank you to my cousin Lauren for bringing us here! Please Louise has a simple menu with only a few small plates to choose from and a half dozen pizzas to choose from (there's also an option to create your own pizza). // STARTERS/SMALL PLATES // The Arugula Salad: Zucchini, pecorino, green olives, crispy onions, lemon vinaigrette. A light and lightly dressed salad, but the crispy onions add so much flavor and texture to this dish. I wish they just served a plate of the crispy onions on the side to snack on. 4/5 Blistered Padrons: Harissa yogurt, Jacobsen's sea salt. I had no idea what a padron pepper was, but it's in the same family as a shishito pepper (commonly used in Japan/Japanese restaurants). About 10% of them can be spicy, but I none of the padron peppers in this batch were spicy. 4/5 Steak Tartare: Crispy shallots, black garlic aioli. The steak tartare was absolutely delicious! It comes served with pieces of bread that can hold up the tartare. The black garlic aioli provided a nice creaminess to the steak. I'd highly recommend this appetizer! 4.5/5 // PIZZAS // Margherita: Tomato, whole milk and fresh mozzarella, basil, oregano, olive oil. The best pizza of the night! I typically always want to try a restaurants Margherita pizza to see how good they are at making a classic pizza. Phenomenal! The dough/crust for all the pizzas were excellent and cooked to perfection. 4.5/5 Wild mushroom: Morels, pancetta, fontina, gorgonzola, sage, honey. I'm a huge fan of mushrooms on pizzas. This one was good, but a little too sweet for my liking with the addition of the honey. 3/5 Fennel Sausage: Tomato, mozzarella, provolone, onion, Calabrian Chile. The sausage was flavorful and went well with the other ingredients. 3.5/5 Overall, I absolutely enjoyed the meal at Please Louise! All of the small plates were delicious in their own way and the Margherita pizza was excellent. I love restaurants that keep their menu simple with a dozen or so items, but they do them all really well. I will definitely come back the next time I come to Portland! Hopefully the style of the restaurant remains the same.

Yelp
Wood-fired pizza is my favorite type of pizza! We ended up getting the margherita and wild mushroom. You obviously can't go wrong the classic margherita pizza. The wild mushroom pizza was different and a tad salty, but overall good. Between the two, I'd definitely recommend the wild mushroom one for something different. Overall, not my favorite pizza in Portland, but if I was ever in the neighborhood, I'd gladly stop by for some pizza! Note that there's quite a bit of outdoor seating available too.
google avatar

Sara K.

Yelp
This place is YUMMY! Didn't end up trying the pizza, but I had the Brussels Sprouts (literally AMAZING) the burrata, and the arugula salad. The salad was refreshing and a surprisingly good combo of ingredients. Definitely coming back!
google avatar

Alexa D.

Yelp
We really liked how open this place was for our latest Friday date night. The food wasn't amazing but we enjoyed our meal. The focaccia was great quality but would have been better if warmed. The pizza really fell apart and was difficult to eat. Very salty pepperoni, but nice thick slices.
google avatar

Julia D.

Yelp
Got delivery via GrubHub and it was outstanding. Calabrian chili and sausage pizza was delightful, brussels sprouts were rad, and the meatballs were just so-so; overpriced for only two meatballs at $12 and the meat had a weird texture; possibly too finely ground for my taste. Overall, though, I'm looking forward to getting food here again when I have the opportunity.
google avatar

Takako S.

Yelp
Ordered to take out, 25 min wait should not be so bad to pick up. Sausage and fennel with nice chili spice and mushroom, Gorgonzola and hunt of honey, on top of the nice thin crust. These are my two top pics! Severed with arugula salad and had a glass of Dry Pinot Rose :) what makes me happier than this right now!
google avatar

Katie W.

Yelp
Open for dining! My boyfriend and I sat outside. It was our first time here and we were soo impressed! We got the arugula salad to start... frickin AMAZE and then omg potato carbonara pizza with egg yolk drizzled on top.... are you kidding me F ING HEAVEN They also had our absolute fav type of beer, Fuzztail hefe from Sunriver brewing... get it SO refreshing especially on a hot summer day. And thennn to top it all off our waitress was phenomenal! So helpful, friendly and fun to talk to!

Laura W.

Yelp
Amazing pizza with high quality ingredients. We have been here twice in two days--that's how good it is.

Lora S.

Yelp
WORST experience of my life. We got served our pizza with a long hair in it, we point it out to the waiter and he try's to say it's just cheese, We pull it out of the pizza and show him it's clearly not cheese- He rudely grabs the pizza from the table without saying a word to us and brings it to the chef. At the point, we could tell he had an attitude and just tell him "Can we please get the bill for the appetizers and we don't need a pizza remade". He agains storms off without saying a word to us- brings the bill and throws it on the empty table next to us. NOT EVEN BRINGING IT TO OUR TABLE. I have never in my life experienced such rude service. While walking out, we looked back at him and he rolled his eyes and turned his back to us. For a restaurant to not even apologize for hair in pizza, and just have attitude for something that is not our fault is insane. I am confused on why he was so mad at us, as if we were supposed to just eat it like that, and not say anything. WORST EXPERIENCE EVER. WOULD NOT RECOMMEND TO ANYONE

Jasmine P.

Yelp
Soggy pizza and I'd avoid the green salad. It was 80% parsley. We wanted to love this place. Great service and so close to home.
google avatar

Yelp
If I could give zero stars I would. TERRIBLE, HOSTILE servers. In a town full of fantastic pizza, just skip this place altogether. In response to Brian, who is snarky on the phone AND on Yelp, I called 13 times to talk about the specifics of this order, and was hung up on twice, and sent to VM the other 11. I didn't order because of your HORRIBLE attitude and when your dealing with what we have to deal with every day when ordering food, I just don't need it. The consumer does not care what night it is, or how busy you are. Simply, be kind. Side note: BJ the Clown - makes people happy, answers the phone when called, doesn't complain about the heavy traffic he had on the way. Just arrives, and cheerfully does his job. He's awesome!
google avatar

Robin S.

Yelp
Busy little spot with a staff that hustled and in spite of the heat served tables outside with a smile! I went for burrata but was blown away by the meatballs! It's a cute place with a good vibe!

Yelp
Updated after visit on 6/20/23: After one of my worst dining experience in years, this place, which use to be a neighborhood go to spot, I will not return. After heading to the restaurant to grab dinner before heading to a concert, it went from friendly and warm greeting to poor service, uncooked pizza, and uncooked batter on the calamari. The batter on the calamari was not fully cooked and when asked for the aioli, which it is suppose to come with it, we were greeted with a half response, while the employee was walking away and then never got the aioli as we were then told the cook was refusing to make it today. The pizza was uncooked and falling apart. One of our drink order was incorrect as it was made with the wrong spirit. While a half hearted attempt was made to give a discount, I would rather get quality service and food over a discount any day. It was also unfortunate as my favorite staff person was not working that day.

Yelp
Haven't been to the other pizza place that everybody is saying is #2 in the world ( you know, it rhymes with Ben's)- so I can't compare. But I'm not sure how it could be better than our experience at Please Louise!! The service was so friendly-even though there was a huge party behind us, we never felt ignored or forgotten. The pizza is spot on. We had the Mushroom minus Gorgonzola, meatball, Margherita and carbonara. All were good and 4 pizzas was perfect for 7 people. The cocktails were sooo soooo good. Definitely be back. We want to try the Hillsdale location next.

Justin L.

Yelp
I have tried a lot of pizzas since I moved here and this might be one of the best, if not the winner. Thin crust, but strong. Flavor of the crust does not overshadow the pizza like some wood-fire places. And the toppings - WOW. I usually go for a classic red sauce and simple meat like pepperoni or sausage when I try a new place but I saw this white pizza with mushrooms and just could not say no. It was full of flavor. I later did get to try a more standard offering with meatballs and that was fantastic too. No complaints. I will note that a single pizza is pricey but it's also large- I did not finish for once! Salads and bruschetta were good too. I will be back to try them all.

Yelp
Great pizza! Got it for takeout. The 3P kind is great! Nice and crispy. Service is quick. I highly recommend.

Yelp
Really great pizza and staff were super nice! Want to go back soon I'm pretty sure I had the Margherita.
