10/10 experience. Vito was so kind and had amazing suggestions for what to do in the Portland area. It’s not listed on the menu, but they offer gluten free buns and a lettuce bed option, if you want to have low carb. The peanut butter burger is out of this world and a must! The fries and nuggets are to die for as well.

Great vibe. I’d easily say they have one of the best smash burgers I’ve ever tried. Great toppings and sauces - simple presentation that lets the food speak for itself. Loved the chive and parm fries too. Highly recommend! If you’re traveling from out of town/state this is a must visit!

The service and atmosphere were fantastic, creating a welcoming environment. The food was also enjoyable, with the burgers being particularly satisfying. Overall, I would rate it 4 out of 5 stars. Amazing smash burgers! They were super welcoming and know how to deliver exceptional service. They were super engaging and very family friendly. We had the Jr Smash Burger, Western BBQ Burger and the Pleasure Burger with bacon and a small parmesean & chive french fry. Everything was prepared perfectly. It was a busy Saturday night and it was totally worth the wait. Highly recommend checking them out.

Ordered a to go and received fantastic customer service and really tasty smash burgers. The ingredients were really fresh and loved the Nico's ice cream we grabbed for dessert.

Cool little burger joint. Clean modern vibe, nice staff mostly. Got the pleasure burger and it was good, but I wouldn't say great. Super juicy, almost falling apart. Also got the pleasure dog, it was pretty disappointing. Literally just a plain small hot dog on a plain bun. Was excited about the parm waffle fries, but they weren't crispy at all and needed salt bad. The price isn't bad though! Like 20 bucks to feed an adult and an 11 year old.

I often say, there's few things better than stumbling upon a restaurant that you might normally look past, yet, you go with your gut and end up trying out this new place anyways. Wow. What's behind those pearly gates that some may call "doors," are some of the best burgers I've truly ever had. And that's coming from a guy who's never written a Yelp review. Rainy outside? For so much chatter about this being the beat burger in PDX, I knew I had to come through. I like to believe myself to be a burger aficionado so it was only a matter of time. We had tried to go the previous week in an evening whim, and alas they were sold out. I would not let this tasty temptress play hard to get, so it is with determination that I marched our family in on a bustling Saturday afternoon. Right away we were greeted, flattered, and even my six year old got a fist bump. Felt like we had always been coming here. You order at the counter and then seating is first come first serve, and they deliver to wherever you are. Unfortunately there were no seats for us, but I was so ravenous I didn't even mind digging in on the waiting bench. Evenoa seat in the back opened up for us and they helped us move to our table. For myself was a classic smashburger and my friends, it is heckin amazing. Every bite felt almost religious in it's umami explosion. I was definitely sad when I gobbled it all up. I can only assume my husband's pb bacon burger was good because it disappeared without a sound. For the lil we got a jr smashy and a small order of waffle fries to share. Do yourself a favor and get the large order. The folks in the kitchen were chatting it up with the people at the counter- they have worked really hard to make this a welcoming place. I am obsessed.

Great food, friendly service, and a really funky and chill atmosphere. I got the peanut butter bacon and maaaaaaaaan that was good! My Dad and I split the truffle fries and they were just, chefs kiss, perfection! If you're in Portland and looking for a burger and near providence park, stop by this place!

Cute spot. Food was good and hot. Nicely seasoned. Wished I could have had the specialty fries. Drink selection was small wished they had a fountain option or even alcohol. Would surely come back here to eat!!

Absolutely love the new location. Clean, cool and sexy with touch of PDX hipster vibe. The bar seating is really cozy and comfortable. We ordered from a sweet gal who was very helpful. I love that the menu is simple. We ordered a Western Burger, Jr Pleasure Burger and Parmesan waffle fries. Per usual the burgers were excellent. Perfectly executed smash burgers with melty cheese and soft buns. If you are a burger connoisseur and want a "smash burger" this burger spot knows exactly how to make a true smashie.

Hands down the best burger spot I've been to in such a long time had a friend of mine recommend it to me and WOW. Burger is just super flavorful spot on. The staff and owner were very nice and great to talk to I'm definitely becoming a regular here.

FABulous smash!! We hit Pleasure Burger on Saturday for lunch. Inside a cute indoor court downtown, Pleasure is an unassuming little grill with a short menu. We each ordered a double smash and a large fry to share. Truthfully, when the burgers arrived at the table I didn't have massive expectations. But holy smash they are truly fantastic. Done right, great flavor and a hard smash with 360 degrees of superbly crispy edges. Most definitely one of the top smashes I've had locally or anywhere or else. Pleasure Burger...smash done right.

Burgers were great. Well priced, nice people. From the street we couldn't tell if they were open or not, glad we tried the door - we scored on this random find. Would recommend.

Super tasty smash burger. I had the Western (special): two caramelized patties, w/ bacon, cheese, onion rings, jalapeños, and bbq sauces. Fries and fry sauce were on point. Lots of flavor. Super tasty. I'll be back for more.

We wanted to grab some smashed burgers and we found this place on Yelp. When we got here, the friendly staff helped us out and recommended the PB Burger. He even went as far as calling it "an experience". He was right. The peanut butter was slightly sweet, rich, and salty. Their special sauce and the pickles provided the right amount of acidity to balance things out. Combine all this with a crispy and savory smashed patty and a soft bun and it was "an experience".

Best burger in Portland! Been following this spot since they were at Pine Street. So happy they finally have their own brick and mortar. Peanut Butter Bacon and the Mushroom and Swiss burgers are my go-to's! Also come early if you don't want to miss out on the Parmesan waffle fries because they will sell out!

Pleasure Burger is a must try for any serious burger lover. They serve mouth watering smash style burgers. If you are in the Portland area and you want a burger, you need to check this spot out. The BBQ burger is the best most flavor packed burger I have ever eaten. It came with a little kick which I enjoyed. The meat is extremely high quality and the buns are perfect! The waffle style fries and sauces are delicious! The food was prepared quickly and we were eating in no time. It's a kid friendly restaurant which is really nice. The bathroom has one of the coolest murals you will ever see. I would check this place out again just to see it. The owner and staff were very friendly! If seeking advice they were quick to greet us and answer any questions we had. We will be back here soon!

Don't be discouraged by the size of the burger fellow Yelpers. My son and I ordered The Pleasure Burger with Parm fries. Have to say the burgers and fries were amazing and got service with a smile.... What more can you ask for. Definitely recommend and definitely will come back. So let it be said... So let it be EATEN.

OMG. I waited three weeks to eat here because I'm from the coast and I guess two weeks ago they left to open somewhere else TBD. It's too bad they didn't change their status to closed. The people said the burgers were amazing though. Super disappointed. Maybe next time.

Saw a video shared to Instagram of this place so thought I'd check it out for lunch time. I love a good burger and while I thought the crisp on the edges of the burger were great. It tasted fine. I think there's a lot more hype than maybe necessary. The fries were okay, comparable to Burgerville. Honestly I think there's more places around Portland I'd recommend over here

We stopped by this past weekend to check out the area as it's been awhile since I've been back. There are not many restaurants left in this building. We decided to try out the Pleasure Burger and the Peanut Butter Bacon Burger with some Parmesan waffle fries. The Pleasure Burger was great and tasty. The peanut butter one was also good as you get both the sweet and savory taste. The waffle fries could've been a bit warmer, but was still good with parmesan and chive toppings. Overall, pretty good spot and there could be a line waiting.

I think a majority of foodies would agree- a smash burger is better than a regular burger. Smash s have been our obsession lately and we were so glad to get our hands on these at Pleasure Burger, located in downtown Portland. These burgers were juicy, cheesy, and wow the smash sauce was incredible. I could genuinely eat these everyday they were amazing. Definitely check these out if you're ever looking for a new burger spot!

I like hamburgers. I hear they've got some tasty burgers. Mmm, this is a tasty burger. In fact, this is my current #1 burger. Everything about the pleasure burger is damn near perfect: smashed patties with crispy edges; a god damn normal squishy bun; a delicious sauce; and the perfect ratio of toppings. The salted waffles fries are spot on. Also, friendly service. Keep up the great work.

Now, for those who love a phenomenal burger, the pleasure burger is your place. It's a smash burger that delivers in all aspects of flavor taste and experience. The first bite was a bomb of flavors in the mouth and as you continued to eat, it grew, and was a burger that settle so well you need more. They server that day had a great attitude and sk if I wanted another. I define did. This was a fun adventure if you want a place close by to the rose garden. It us in pine Street market and if had a cocktail bar as well for those loving a good pairing. A place I want to for pleasure.

Another smash burger spot opened in the Pine Street market and I am not mad about it! I love a good smash burger and this place had a tasty burger much like what other Yelpers have stated. Slightly bigger than a slider it was still a filling meal as the meat patty overflows from the bun. The meat was simple and had a nice char crust that all smash burgers should have, melty cheese, and shredded lettuce. What's not to enjoy? Sadly I forgot to get fries as I was going to order and when I realized the line got too long. Oh well.. means I need to check them out again!

Easily the best burger in Portland. Buttered griddled bun with a perfectly cocked smash burger with American cheese and minimal toppings. Just a simple, delicious cheeseburger. I crave it then remember they closed their market location. Can't wait till they reopen.

I really didn't think Portland needed another smash burger spot. But I was wrong. They needed Pleasure Burger. I finally had time to make my way over to Pine Street Market over the weekend and I was specifically on the hunt for this spot! It was also my first time there since the pandemic and oh boy, it's sad. Almost everything is gone. But I REALLY think Pleasure Burger being here could be what brings this market back to life. It was SO. FREAKING. GOOD. Staff was incredibly friendly and helpful. They made a couple suggestions (the PB burger being #1) but we went with the pleasure burger, a fried hot dog, and the parmesan waffle fries with garlic aioli. Everything was phenomenal. The burgers were amazing. Cheesy, the perfect amount of sauce, and crispy edges just like a smash burger should have. And ya'll... the fried hot dog!? Do not sleep on it. It was SO crisp and delicious. 10/10 recommend.

Came across this spot a few days ago and I knew I had to try it immediately. I'm a sucker for smash burgers, so this jumped to the top of my list. I made my way over to Pleasure Burger 30 mins before closing. The guys were busy filling orders when I came in but they were able to take my order as the last one of the day and made a killer Peanut Butter Bacon burger! This burger was exactly what I was craving and with their smash sauce it just really hit the spot! They were super understanding that I had been looking forward to this and siced me with a side of fries on my next trip! Would definitely recommend checking these guys out!! Will return shortly, maybe today

Have you ever thought to yourself..... Today is the day I splurge... (on my diet)... and want to pleasure myself (with food)? Well this is the right spot to do it at.... All jokes aside... The guys who work here truly understand what "customer service" means. There wasn't a moment I did not feel like I was part of the "Pleasure" family. They are extremely friendly, and make you feel like you belong there. In regards to the food, you can't have any, jk lol!! They have enough for EVERYONE! The pleasure burger is a double stacked delicious smash burger, with sauteed grilled onions, and a yummy "pleasure" sauce. I got it with the waffle fries... yes, MF waffle fries. So damn good!!! My only complaint, is that I could not eat 2 burgers, but I made sure to take one to go. (guilt-free pleasure ;). Go check it out. 5/5 Stars.

Doesn't look like much when you walk by, BUT KEEP GOING! My friend and I were actually about to walk out but decided to give it a try. I had a veggie smash burger with a side of parm fries and it did not disappoint. Burger is tasty and the perfect size. The smash sauce SMASHES (lol) Honesty, give it a try. Food is good and the Owners are super nice and friendly. 10/10 recommend (S/o to Vito)

It is always a pleasure to be having one of their burgers. I've had the Jr smash and now their pleasure burger and they don't ever disappoint. The staff is great, very friendly and the environment is comfortable, especially during a brew fest. I also had their parmesan and chive waffle fries and they were to die for! Definitely coming back soon.

It was a slow Wednesday at Pine Street Market. Haven't been by since pre pandemic. Went specifically to try Pleasure Burger. The burger it self was amazing. One of the best smash burgers I've ever had. The meat was perfectly tender yet crispy. I was bummed no ketchup was available though. As good as the burger was it was a long wait. Over 20 min and there was only one order ahead of us. Again it was a great burger. The fries on the other hand not so much. I usually love waffle fries but both of our orders were overcooked. While normally there would have been enough dings to knock off a few stars, the burger was so good I can't bring myself to give this place anything less than 4.

Literally the best burger in the city! I go here almost every Wednesday and it never disappoints!! The fries and pleasure dog are also phenomenal.

It's reasonably priced and tastes good. But on a Sunday afternoon when the order was placed at 2:30 but not delivered until almost 40 minutes later, the whole experience can only be negative. At the minimum if you cannot meet the demand you should have informed customers of the wait. PS the large waffle fries is kind of small.

Smash burger place, food was good. The issue was that while I was waiting for my order I was watching one of their employees. He walked over to the dirty dishes area and moved some things around between the tubs. Then, without washing his hands, he walks back to the kitchen and starts filling sauces. Earlier he was handing the raw meat. Cross contamination can be dangerous.

Came in because it was my boyfriend's friends' burger joint and wanted to come support local :) It's located inside Pine Street Market They've been open for a month now and I'd go back for the peanut butter bacon burger all day every day

My boyfriend and I wanted to try a good burger during our night out in Portland- and boy was this the place! The staff is quick, the environment is clean and positive, and was just overall good vibes. The burgers were delicious- perfect amount of sauce and the crispy edges of the patty were an excellent touch. The prices are reasonable for getting a good burger in the city, and the parmesan fries with the aioli are a must. Would recommend to anyone, and we will definitely come back!

Good burgers and the fries were yummy. I don't know why it took so long, but that doesn't seem to be an issue in other reviews...we'll let that slide. I love a good smash burger and this was one.

DANG! Burgers are excellent, this is such a relaxed place not overly crowded currently, because it's a multi business unit and the other Restaurants are not open do to they closed during the shut downs, but word is more are coming next month! It's for sure a cool vibe! Customer service is top notch as well! Keep up the good work!

Incredible Burgers. There are a few good burger spots in Portland, but since this place opened I can't help but compare and come back here. Lordy lordy give me the strength to resist that Peanut Butter Bacon Burger. Last time I was there I ordered their Classic "Pleasure Burger" to-go, had it late night from the microwave, still freaking good. Parm Fries, house made sauce.... writing this review I may go eat there again today. Totally recommend, and do often!! Keep it up!!

Exactly what PDX needed! No frills, just a simple, classic burger in all its juicy, cheesy, saucy goodness. Don't sleep on the waffle fries with Parmesan and garlic aioli, either. Ask for extra sauce-- you'll thank me later. Keep up the great work, Taylor!

Easily one of the top smash burgers in all of Portland metro. Maybe they best? The burger lace was perfectly thin and crispy. Maillard heaven.

So glad we tried this place! The burger and fries were amazing. We will definitely go back. I would give it a 10/10. The staff was also so incredibly nice and fun.

My son loves this place. He brought me a regular burger and a peanut butter burger. I've has a few peanut butter burgers and while not my jam, see what I did there, this was by far the best one yet. The regular burger was simply perfect. Keep in mind by the time they got to me in Vancouver they were an in the bag for an hour. Short reheat in the microwave and they were still easily in the top three burgers I've had in my 52yrs on this rock. Edges still crispy and delicious with the right amount of everything. Please open a shop in Vancouver so we have a great burger spot.

I find the 5 star rating suspicious given my experience. I asked for no sauce and in my to go order it was slathered on both sides of the burgers and bun with sauce....I even asked the woman who handed me my order to confirm it had no sauce. I also asked for it to go and didn't get that right either. Attention to detail lacking. The picture shows lettuce and pickles - neither of which came on my burger. I wish this place well and give is less than 6 months.

As always - worth the drive from Beaverton. we tried to go back to other burgers last month - just not possible. nothing bad in the menu and now when we want hamburgers we don't even cook our own!

Pleasure Burger... Ehhh, would i recommend this place? No, but if you want to try out a smash burger then go for it. After reading reviews hyping it up & getting 5 stars and seeing videos on instagram looking bomb af in the videos. My wife, brother, and I went there today to try it out. What a disappointment, I ordered the pleasure burger, my wife had the peanut butter burger, & my brother got the bbq pleasure burger. The taste wasn't there for me I also tried my wife's peanut butter burger but the sweet peanut butter kinda overwhelmed everything. Customer service was good even though they were short staffed. I have to applaud the workers that were there serving all the customers that were there. 2 thumbs up on the workers and their customer service. Burgers weren't all that, their fries with the Parmesan & chives were good. Would I come back? No, now that I tried a authentic smash burger, I won't be trying them again.
