First the good: beautiful location, great food, amazing staff, lovely rooms, comfy beds, nice bathroom, wonderful outdoor shower.||Sadly, there are a few things that really let this place down so if you’re looking to stay, beware. ||If you book a room which is described as having a ‘sea view’, prepare for disappointment. Yes, we could vaguely make out the sea through all the trees, but it’s at best a misleading description (we were in C05 - other rooms may be better). ||We were told that access to the ‘beach’ was at the bottom of the hill, through a gate that leads out of the property and down a private path. Not the case at all. We tried to access what they call a beach, but the path is overgrown, clearly infrequently used (if ever) and this beach is a rocky cove with no facilities at all.||The very friendly staff member that showed us around on our arrival ferried us in an electric vehicle and showed us what he described as our ‘private’ dedicated sun bed. Once you get your bearings and realise exactly where this is located, you feel it must be a joke. It’s about as far from our room as it’s possible to go without leaving the property (and nowhere near any facilities). ||The property is spread out on the side of a steep hill so if you’re near the bottom, you’ve quite an uphill hike to the restaurant which in 31° plus temperatures can be challenging. Conversely, if you’re near the top, the hike down to the ‘infinity pool’ is a slog and when you get there, you’ll only find six beds which are invariably all full. ||Which brings me to my biggest gripe: At these prices, it’s not unreasonable to expect that there will at least be enough sun beds for all the guests. We Brits visit places like Mallorca for this very reason. On two afternoons, we ended up confined to the terrace outside our room (miles from the pool) as all the beds around both pools were occupied. Yes, there are very attractive seating areas, but not suitable if you want to sit in the sun a take a cooling dip.||It’s a shame that this review sounds so negative as we did enjoy our stay and the staff really are amazing. If they could fix the addressable problems, some of the other niggles would not seem as big a deal.

An adult’s only resort with great Villas in an amazing environment surrounded by gardens very well cared for. I fall in love with the lavandas. Amazing breakfast offer with everything we can need or desire in a very cared presentation. Even the Matcha was special and so well prepared! 2 pools in the right setting. Only the beach was too rocky but if not it would have been paradise. A place to rest with company. Very nice and helpful staff.

We recently stayed at this hotel in Mallorca and overall had a fantastic experience. The setting is absolutely beautiful—peaceful and relaxing, with plenty of loungers always available by the pool.||Our room was excellent: spacious, stylish, with a very comfortable bed and a large, well-functioning bathroom. Housekeeping did a great job of keeping everything spotless throughout our stay. One small improvement would be for turn-down service to replace used cups and glasses, as well as replenish tea bags, which wasn’t always done.||Service was generally good, although not always the most personable. A notable exception was Tony—“Bellboy Tony” as he calls himself—who was the friendliest and most welcoming member of the team. He really added a personal touch that stood out.||Room service was also prompt and tasty, and we appreciated the overall cleanliness and organization throughout the hotel. We would absolutely stay here again on a return trip to Mallorca.||That said, there were a few minor areas for improvement:||Vegetarian food options were quite limited.||One day, a parasol fell over and the pipe narrowly missed my head—some better wind-proofing would help avoid any accidents.||TV options were limited, with few English-language movie channels and no option to screen-cast or use Netflix.||The yoga mats in the gym were damp and dirty, possibly from being left exposed to rain—better storage and maintenance would go a long way.|WiFi was patchy at times and could definitely be stronger.||None of these issues impacted our enjoyment of the trip, but they are worth noting. Overall, a great hotel in a lovely location, and we’re already looking forward to coming back.

Little gem tucked in a beautiful natural reserve, built with elegance and style. This is the place to relax and recharge in a beautiful surrounding away from the hustle and bustle of the touristic areas. The team is super professional, attentive, competent and friendly. They will go the extra mile to make the stay just perfect. And the restaurant offers Michelin star food with an incredible wine selection (and also lots of healthy options). The spa is lovely with an amazing team again. Every detail is there to make your stay unforgettable. This is definitely one of the few places I'll visit again in my life!

We had a magnificent stay at Pleta de mar. The estate is simply beautiful and well maintained. All the bedrooms, as well as all other rooms, are all beautifully designed and clean. The staff is extremely kind and thoughtful. Every encounter was a true delight. We had some minor issues which they have handled professionally. It is exactly what you would expect from such an esteemed hotel. It was a very calm stay, however it would be a plus if there were some activities to attend (example; stand-up paddle board at their private beach). The beach itself was pretty but not as maintained as the rest of the estate.

I recently spent three beautiful days here that I will cherish forever. The views of the sea were absolutely breathtaking, allowing me to feel completely in touch with nature. The staff at Pleta de Mar were incredibly attentive, always ensuring that every aspect of my stay was perfect. Their warmth and dedication truly enhanced the overall experience. The food was delicious, offering a delightful array of flavors, making dining an integral part of the experience. The beautiful pools provided a serene place to relax and enjoy the stunning surroundings. The entire property is designed to offer peace and tranquility, making it the perfect getaway. I can't recommend Pleta de Mar enough. It’s the ideal place to relax, rejuvenate, and immerse yourself in the natural beauty of Majorca. I look forward to my next visit!

Amazing place for those who need an unplug and complete peaceful indulgence. Rooms are modern, clean, and cozy. The property is stunning and you get access to its sister resort, Can Simoneta, which is also beautiful. Food is amazing (breakfast and restaurants on property). There’s not too much to do around the resort and it’s a drive from the Palma airport so make sure you know what you’re signing up for. This is a wellness retreat.

We stayed here 5 days, the most amazing and best breakfast I ever had. I don’t know how they manage to have the best fruit perfectly fresh. The rooms are a whole house with large terraces, outdoor showers and terraces. The pools are beautiful - just look at the photos. We will come back.
