PLNT Burger

Happy to say, I am no longer a PLNT Burger virgin. My Patty Melt burger was awesome. Although I ordered online, Mr. Mackey (Wynnewood) customized my burger on the spot to give me the best experience. It was also my first for spiced sweet potato fries, I enjoyed them. I will definitely be back to this location, but please make some in South Jersey.

I wish I could remember his name but I had AMAZING service today from the young man that personally came to bring my peppermint brownie milkshake after he made it fresh upon arrival. I always have good service there but he went above and beyond. It was greatly appreciated not to mention so good. BEST MILKSHAKE!!! Keep it on the menu please and thank you 😄😄

Always love a solid food choice inside WFM. As a 7-year plant-based consumer, I am blown away by these burgers. PLNT Burger may be my top vegan burger and fries! On top of a solid food experience, Mackey, the supervisor, made excellent food recommendations. We have an enjoyable, personable experience. This may be my new go-to spot for takeout!

What a shame. This place was the best and I’ve order there dozens and dozens of times over the years and it went down hill lately. Had a few issues lately but I thought I’ll let it go but I see now it’s a pattern. Got burgers yesterday that were no cooked at all. Obviously the cheese was cold and not melted. My guess is that the order was later in the day so the stuff already wanted to close up the stove and didn’t want to grill more. Just look at the pictures. No words needed. All went straight to the garbage. So sad, I loved this place.

I really like the french fries that are the garden herbs. They're my absolute favorite thing to get there. We also like getting a mixture of the different dipping sauces for some fun flavors. They have nice service here as well.

Ordered delivery, it was a pretty good burger, first time trying this vegan meat sub, and overall good impression! The high protein content also kept us full. The fries was surprisingly great too, even steamed in the bag with delivery taking longer than usual with the road closures, the fries came crispy and still a little warm I can only imagine how good it would be fresh. I liked the brioche bun too, it wasn’t dry and address a nice soft texture with the crispy “chicken” I wish there was more leafy veggies there was a ton of pickles which makes the overall flavour profile stronger, but I think that is to help with the thicker patty. Overall a solid 7.5/8 out of 10 and I would order again!

Food was okay. The fries were the beat thing probably, while advertiser as garden herb fries there were absolutely no garden herbs on it though, only salt. The Mushroom Bacon Burger is not great, questionable sauce and very small. The burgers overall are definitely not very large at all. The Kola I got was warm and had no bubbles. What made it way worse was that I had to wait endlessly for the one guy that was working today to come up and even get my order since I wanted to pay in cash. No eye contact, and overall totally rude and unapologetic. He seemed overwhelmed even though it was literally empty and no line behind me and was rude from taking the order to then handing it over.

PLNT Burger always had great potential but fails to deliver every time. We keep going back but I’m not sure if we will again. There’s always some problem. Last time there were no fries and this time all drinks were out of order. The burgers were undercooked and sloppy, disintegrating the bun and making it impossible to eat. The staff is friendly and nice and they remade the food and it was better, but the burgers were still pink on the outside. I really feel that if this restaurant could just get their act together, it would be a 5/5. But there’s no management, no front of house, and they don’t respond to feedback. They were looking for investment a few weeks ago and if it wasn’t for this, I would definitely have considered investing in what looks like a great business model.

This place has been my guilty pleasure when I want a vegan burger and I absolutely love the fries! The service is always fairly quick and the food fresh. The prices are reasonable too!

I ordered the special Thai shake honoring the new Season 3 of White Lotus, a well done show that I dislike for its lack of a good quality story but the settings and eye candy are excellent, lol. I also won the TooGoodToGo . On PLNT's IG, they advertised that the special Thai shake would be released on Sunday (February 16). Thank God I didn't make the drive because it was not available to choose from on the app on the day of release. I put a public message on PLNT's IG asking them about this and I left a VM at this local establishment. I did not receive a response from either the rest of the day from about 1130 AM until me writing this review at least. I saw the Thai shake on the app the next day and finally ordered it ahead of time. I kind of wish I ordered 2 because I loved it so much- the flavor and creaminess but that it was surprisingly still vegan. They do a great job with their fish similarly as well and if they still use Mind Blown, I am a big fan of their frozen vegan crab cakes and so are some friends who love seafood in the Outer Banks: I was unable to pick up my TooGoodToGo because the staff said they don't do this anymore: It was frustrating because you have to take the time to win the bid and then I have to make the drive which isn't right there for me. Thank goodness in this case, I was planning to go here regardless. The staff here was friendly despite the hiccups I encountered. All the trouble I had during this food experience reminded me of negative social experiences- particularly the assumption that social coddling is okay. While they aren't the same at all, the hiccups felt comparatively the same. I decided to include this part because it is relevant to the main reason I write reviews- because I enjoy quietly showing off the food I like, earning free access to exclusive events in this manner and as an emotional release for myself. I won't go into detail unless you ask privately because most people reading this don't want the specifics. The irony, is that, I could say the same for the review community I am in now to a degree but the opportunity to experience exclusive events is not something I want to jeopardize for myself if I can help it either. I am thankful for these continued opportunities that I would have never imagined I could ever be a part of. If you can't be truly nice and respectful, just leave people alone because otherwise any aggravation you have to deal with is all on you.

PLNT Burger has seriously gone downhill since opening. My last two orders both had issues. I ordered the "mushroom bacon" burger and the mushrooms were black and moldy/musty smelling. Then on my next order, the chili dog was all cheese with almost no chili (and somehow a single musty mushroom ended up on it too ugh). The hot dog itself was like uncooked. Bleh. Oh and the sweet potato fries were undercooked and cold. I won't be returning, even though they are a 5 minute walk from my apartment. It's a real shame that HipCityVeg shut their doors because now there isn't any good place in the area for vegan fast food.

This location is a mess. I ordered pickup online, when I got there the workers told me they couldn't complete my order because they were out of shake mix. Then tried to give me the rest of my order, except it was missing the sweet potato fries and the burger - they had put a bunch of mushrooms on the bun, no burger patty, and included pickles which I had requested be left off. They proceed to tell me they couldn't give me a refund, and that they would have the manager call me later for the refund. Just a terrible experience overall. I need to remember to never go there again!

I ordered Plnt Burger from DoorDash. I was pleasantly surprised. Sometimes fast food that's vegan makes me feel gross after so I try and avoid it. Not the case here. My burger was yummy with sautéed mushrooms and onions. The sweet potato fries were yummy too. Looking forward to checking them out in person.

A hidden gem inside Wholefoods market! Plnty of seating during lunch, friendly service, and excellent food. Staff recommended the B.I.G burger, and it did not disappoint!

Service was perfect. Chef came over to make sure all was good and it was! I would definitely recommend their Big Burger and I asked crispy onions. YUM

CHECK YOUR BILL! CHECK YOUR ORDER! PLNT Burger in Wynnewood, PA doubled my bill and added things to my order. They confirmed my order in advance and I asked them to remove the two extra items that THEY had added. They didn't. They doubled my bill. They have been completely non-responsive and it's been over a month. I left a review on Google and someone responded with an email address I should write to. I did. No response.

We have been here 3 times. My first order was Chik N Fun Guy(oyster mushroom), crispy herb fries, and Beyond Classic Sausage. 2nd visit was the Save the Bay filet sandwich, soft serve(oat milk), and crispy herb fries. Chik N Fun Guy, Crispy Herb Fries, Beyond Classic Sausage with all the toppings(carmelized onions, sauerkraut, and mustard) and a chocolate milkshake. Mushroom Bacon Burger with carmelized onions, mushroom bacon, FYH Cheddar, BBQ sauce, crispy onion petals! Highlights for plant-based food, the entrees are filling with the right proportions, fries are crispy, nicely seasoned, and not saturated in oil. Save the Bay filet is a great plant-based version of a fish filet with a flavorful tartar sauce. The soft-serve is made with oat milk finally a place that offers a frozen dessert with no soy. Milkshake made with soft serve was thick and creamy but non-dairy. Now one of our favorite local.places. I cannot wait to try the burgers which are Beyond Burgers, no gluten or soy. The Mushroom Bacon Burger was delicious.

Holy cow- best "fish" sandwich i have ever had!!! Got it for take out and 15 min later it was still crispy and deliciously hot. Has a true fish taste and feel to it that I was not expecting and 100000% satisfied the craving of Mcdonald's filet-o-fish i had that day

PLNT Burger never fails to deliver as a burger spot. The food is absolutely delicious and filling but not bloating. You will have to double check your bagged order for online pickup, but I think that goes for any fast food place. Overall, I'm a satisfied vegan and will keep coming back.

Vegan fast food of good quality and tasting good is an uncommon find. This makes Plnt Burger in the Whole Foods in Wynnewood a real gem! The Mushroom BBQ Bacon Burger has one of my favorites, the glorious taste of mushroom bacon!!! This juicy veggie burger is topped with plant based cheddar, tangy BBQ sauce, mushroom bacon and crispy, fried onion petals. A party in my mouth! The herb fries are good too!

The young men working on 8/20 did a fantastic job. I wish the food portions were a bit bigger. They were out of oatly soft serve, so I went upstairs to whole foods and got a chocolate protein shake while I waited for my order.

First time trying PLNT burger - I ordered the Grilled Chik'N Sandwich with a side of the Spicy Aioli, and the Mint Cookies N' Cream OATasty Shake. The Chik'N burger was even better than expected, it tasted like real chicken and had a great texture. The Spicy Aioli was delicious as well, however not very spicy. The Mint Cookies N' Cream Shake had a strong oat milk flavor that I could not shake off, and I couldn't taste the mint flavoring at all. I personally would not order the shake again, but I would definitely order the Chik'N sandwich again!

Location: faces a busy street. There isn't street parking but there is large garage that offers free parking. Inside: looked like a separate take out counter with a bar on the other side of the space. They were separate businesses. Unsure if you could eat inside. Food: here's the thing. I had mixed feelings. Plant burger. I enjoyed it. Steakhouse burger--YUM! Chilly cheese fries, chili was on sweeter side. Fries were crispy, which I liked. Cheese was more liquidy and not really cheesy. I see why they didn't have just cheese fries on the menu. S'more milkshake - didn't taste like a s'more. More like a choc shake. Disappointed. Blood Orange drink. Soda of sorts not really a juice. Overall, underwhelming. I didn't like the chili cheese fries. I hated that the shake didn't taste like it was supposed to. I didn't love that orange drink. I liked both burgers, especially because it wasn't beyond meat patties. I spent about $36 for carry out. If you're gonna be overpriced, it ought to be good. If I go back, I'd only order the burger but nothing else. I'd opt for hip city instead.

I had the melt no onions add jalapeños. This just changed my life!!! What have I been eating all my life? So delicious! I'll be back for more.

I am dying of hunger when I walk in. The young girl behind the counter, Elizabeth, always miraculously remembers my name, even when it's been weeks since I've been in (this was pre-app) and now she remembers my son ever since I've turned him on to this place. The herb fries with the garden herb sauce? Game changer! I think the grilled cheese is out of this world. The BBQ "bacon" burger is fingerlickinggood. The chili cheese fries were scrumptious, if a little sweet, and so filling!

Outstanding food always ready by or before the estimate. Thoughtful manager always checking to make sure you are satisfied, George is the best. Grateful I have this delicious vegan option nearby.

I'll have to revisit the place. The fries were stale and the burger was okay... I'll have to try getting a more standard burger next time. The seating area is nice but the food was okay.

I gave PLNT Burger another try and got the chicken 'funguy' sandwich with fries. The fries were good, and everything on the sandwich was fine, but I literally couldn't eat the breaded mushroom. I'm not exaggerating - I actually couldn't bite through it. I guess they might have cooked it previously and heated it up - in any case it was like an actual piece of rubber. (Pics included) The service here is really great, and I know the staff works for incentives, so I'm really sad things didn't work out again. It's just the quality of the 'meat' of the sandwich that really, really threw me off.

Best vegan fast food I've had in a while! Highly recommended! Their chikin sandwiches are crazy delicious and nutritious!

Just tried PLNT today with my son and we were blown away by how fresh and juicy the entire sandwich was. We both had The Big Burger. The lettuce and tomato were firm and crisp and the bun was soft. You definitely could not tell that the burger was plant based. We highly recommend taking the whole family. There is something on the menu for everyone.

After returning to plant burger after a previous review I was able to meet the manager Roman who was extremely pleasant ! Which honestly I'm not surprised because the entire staff was pleasant the last time I went. I think a lot of places could learn a thing or two about customer service from them. He was able to address the concerns from my previous review about the ice cream that tasted a bit like metal. I tried a sample of both the vanilla and chocolate vegan soft serve and it was much better this time! My favorite is the chocolate flavored. The consistency is good just like milk based soft serve, you can barely tell the difference. Also during this visit I was able to try to Plant based "cheese"burger and OMG it was incredible the size of the burger was thinner which I actually prefer because sometimes with plant based burgers the thicker ones become overwhelming. The bun and lettuce, tomato, and pickles were fresh and delicious. I would definitely recommend to anyone not just those who are plant based. I will also say it was extremely filling!! I suggest when you're considering your post (or pre!) shopping meal to give PLNT BURGER a try. I will definitely be back for for that burger again and I'm looking forward to trying more of the menu!

I haven't been disappointed! The food tastes great! Just tried the vegan crab cake and it's so good!!

Service not good. Guy put in our order as we didn't know how. We sat at a table about 15 feet from the pickup area. He asked for name, which we gave. Said nothing about notification but he used his own phone to place the order. We sat and finally after a long time went up to ask and was told the order was sitting at the pickup area. We did not hear name called, and would have because it was very quiet. Who knows how long the bag had been sitting there. The metal backsplash was filthy and one of our drinks was missing. Seems poor cleanliness and not good organization. The fries were bits and pieces covered with so much salt, could not eat them. Not a good first-time experience. Messaged and emailed, however no response to any unhappy customers. Very telling!

My wife and I ate at PLNT Burger for the first time recently. We were very excited to try the food, as it has stellar reviews on both Google and Yelp. My wife is a vegetarian so she was very excited to try a place with lots of options. My wife ordered the Fiesta Burger. She said her veggie burger lacked flavor and did not taste very good. It also did not come with all of the advertised toppings. She enjoyed the sweet potato fries. She also wanted to try a chili. However, the main issue was that after leaving and coming home, she was up during the night sick and it continued throughout the morning. I did not try anything she ordered but from my experience I didn't get sick and I thought my items were decent enough (although now I look back on it negatively). Overall, It was a very disappointing experience, especially since we paid nearly $60 for our dining experience and my wife got sick from it. My wife joked that she would have rather paid $7 for frozen veggie Patties and skipped the food poisoning. The only highlight of our experience was interacting with your employee working at the time. He was extremely friendly and even brought us our food when it was ready.

Pricey, but delicious. I never knew $20 would barely be enough for a meal. Be prepared to spend if you're hungry. Food quality is always good, but sometimes it can look like it was poorly assembled. Photos always look better than the food itself.

This place is awesome for vegan fast food - we enjoyed the chick'n sandwiches, chili bowl, and crispy herb fries. Everything was excellent. And on top of that, they have vegan soft serve! Friendly staff and excellent service!

I wish I knew about this place sooner because I love meatless burgers. I had a rough day at work, so a nice friend of mine bought dinner for me from and it was placed through UberEats. I got the Plnt Cheeseburger and it was pretty good! The Cripsy Herb Fries were a generous portion. Since this place is pretty close and they have meatless burgers, I would probably order from them again. I'm interested in trying the Spicy Chik'n Funguy next!

As someone who eats meat, this was my fave vegan fast food spot to order from (multiple times a month). However a lot of menu items have changed. I understand that it's still a fairly new operation and they're testing things out. But if you're getting rave reviews, why not keep some of those items and just add on to the menu rather than take them off completely? Biggest change they made which was disappointing is their fries. Soggy and limp regular fries. They used to have the "scoops" - crispy ridged potato wedges -which set them apart from any other fast food spot, imo. They got rid of the sweet chili sauce and replaced it with garlic aioli which is very sour and somewhat flavorless. And finally, this is moreso wishful thinking, but it'd be great if they could bring some of the burgers that were temporary items back permanently under a different name (ie. Dawesome Burger). I really loved this place, but now I'm gonna look elsewhere or just make vegan burgers instead.

40 min for a prefrozen burger because they are understaffed and not cooking anything with ANY urgency. I would not typically write a review for a place because of service but this was truly painful to watch. Hungry when we ordered and angry by the time it was done. We get the patty melt and it's a piece of THIN plant meat between two slices of flattened toasted white bread and nothing else; the description indicated there would be several more ingredients. The aioli tastes like canola oil whipped with gums and stabilizers (I.e. flavorless regardless of indicated flavor). Seems like a company taking advantage of shoppers by pretending to care about sustainability but it's just good marketing and a great location. Stick with the sushi or hot bar if you're hungry at Whole Foods, or a bag of frozen peas for that matter. This was just sad.

Guilty pleasures of junk food without the guilt! Second time ordering from here. I had the BBQ burger first time, Vegetable burger this time. My husband had the cheese burger, which I also got to taste. The vegetable burger was surprisingly substantial. The cheese burger was believable. I'll probably go back to the BBQ burger next time for the more authentic burger experience. I ordered from their app, and it gave me free fries and chicken sandwich!

Updating my review! This company was great with making sure I had a better experience next time around. This is a newer company so I understand things are trial and error. I really appreciate them trying their best to make up for any issues that arise. For that I would recommend and I wish this company future success!

I love this place! It's located in the lower level of Whole Foods. My first time stopping by was months ago and they were giving out free fries so I said hey why not. I tried the sweet potato fries and really enjoyed them. Today was National Chili Cheese Fries Day so I headed over to pickup my free fries (once again). I'll have to be honest the chili cheese fries weren't a hit for me; the cheese was unmelted, the sour cream was weird and the chili was like sweet rather than savory; but they were free so I can't really complain. The rest of my meal however was fantastic!! LOVED the bloomies, they were nice and crispy and went perfectly with the suggested dipping sauce, as well as my burger which I should've gotten a double because it went by so fast. The staff was super friendly, and was also friendly at my last visit so I'd rate the customer service an A+. Overall, this company is always trying something new, I love the effort they are making to keep the customers coming back. Thanks PLNT burger, I'll see you again soon!

Right below whole foods, with whole foods prices and whole foods quality. Super nice workers, although they did get my order slightly wrong (they originally forgot to give me a frostie). The bacon cheese burger was alright. Not as good as the tempeh burgers at Hipcity Vedge, and considerably more expensive. For me impossible burger just tastes better. YMMV The sweet potato fries weren't good, and were pretty soggy. Their sauces were AMAZING, though, and would have benefited from crispy fries to go on. The oat frostie was legitimately good. Tasted more like whipped cream than a soft serve, but the flavors themselves were unique. One of the best amongst fast-food places in the area. Glad we double checked our bag before we left, as previously mentioned they forgot it originally. Would eat it again if I was hungry at Whole Foods, but I much prefer Hip City Vedge's recipes. Would probably only get the frostie though.

Food is pretty good to have a vegan sandwich place inside a Whole Foods! I live the fries and the hot chicken sandwich especially the sweet mustard dip it is amazing!!

I parked downstairs at Whole Foods and spotted this place as I browsed the alcohol on this level. Tucked in the back corner, worth it to find it! Plenty of socially distant seating outdoors to enjoy your food. Vegan burgers, vegan chicken sandwiches, fries (sweet potato and traditional potato), chili, veggie dogs, soft serve vegan ice cream, and drinks. Pretty straightforward menu, reasonable prices ($6.95 vegan burger, $2.95 small fries), very friendly service. A lot more reasonably priced than I expected for being inside one the most expensive places to buy groceries! I love veggie burgers, and the influx of different delicious veggie burgers brings me great joy! I'll definitely be back and look forward for the inside dining to reopen in the future.

Ummm this is a vegans happy place!! Burgers, Shakes, Fries and more ALL PLANT BASED my go-to is the Baja Buger and fries. Super happy Tavis, Josh, Naseem and Roman were AMAZING! Great good + service!
