PLNT Burger - Review - Union Square - New York - The Infatuation

"Started by a Top Chef alum, this first NYC location of PLNT Burger is ideal for vegans who don't have a lot of time to eat. They use Beyond Meat, dairy-free cheeses, and Schmidt's potato buns to make their burgers, and they also offer plant-based chicken, chili, and soft serve. The Beyond patties are slightly crispy and have a nice charred and smoky flavor, and, while PLNT Burger's salty herb potato wedges are a little mushy, you'll like them when paired with one of the dipping sauces. (We're partial to the spicy aioli.) The space here is small and feels more fast food than fast casual, so take your order to go and eat at nearby Union Square Park. Like any good chain that doesn't require a lot of real estate, we expect more of these to pop up in the city." - Kenny Yang

How do vegan food taste? You have to try it to believe it. My cousin took me here last month and I couldn't believe it!!. All I can say is try the double cheeseburger first and sweet potato fries 🍟Go on the website check out the food facts. (Burger - Soy rice onion mushrooms sunflower) to name a few ingredients.100 percent plant based. I plan to try other food selections soon.. (Chillidogs, chicken sandwhich, fish, wings) If you're in the Columbia area for the day stop by. You can down load their app and start receiving rewards. Order for pickup or sit in. They do not take cash. Look for special promotions on their app. Last month I won the hotdog contest which can be found on their IG account. Leonor and Esteban was very nice and hard working. Restaurant was very clean, you can sit at the counter or sit in the food court overlooking Columbia Lake which is very relaxing. .

We had a bday free shake and bought a bogo chicken sandwhich. The sandwich had herb sauce that tasted rancid. The sauce on the bottom bun was coagulated and tasted like fish while the top bun was liquidy. It is like they used an old and a new sauce on the same sandwhich. I wiped off the sauce and couldnt bring myself to take another bite. The kettuce was brown and very wilted and the romstoe was pale and mushy. The green herb sauce used to be my favorite but now i will never go back ever again. The bday banana creme brulee shake also was not good. Tasted chemically and full of preservatives. It was just a terrie experience that has my stomach turning as i write this.

I took my dear friend., an older women who grew up non vegan. She loved it!!! It's inside of Whole Foods. We are at the bar 💺 ng space. The food was absolutely delicious and as always the cost was reflective of the quality so no complaints. There. I look forward to eating there again.

Google
Was not notified that the chickn patty was changed and they are now using what seems like a gluten containing gardien patty without updating the website and allergen menu. I ordered it to be gf. I called the location I ordered at and they told me it was the same patty. They are different shapes and thicknesses how could this be the same patty? So did the patty change and the allergen menu is no longer accurate or did someone at that store just grab something off the shelf to that wasn’t the gf patty and decide it was good enough? Will never eat here again. Be wary of a lawsuit from someone who is worse off from gluten than I am if you dont change your allergen menu and website Plnt burger because this could really make someone ill.

I always enjoy my visits to the PLNT Burger in Columbia, MD located in WholeFood’s. Customer service is always on a 10, my order is always right and and the food is ALWAYS ON POINT!! I’m usually the late night straggler just before closing time when I get off work but the guys are always happy to take my order! I’m not sure the name of the man who works the register and takes the orders during the late shift on weekdays but he’s awesome!! I wanted to try the chili that a friend said is simply delicious and they were sold out for the day. There was just a little sample size remaining so he made me a mini-chili sampler and I LOVED IT!! Yay 😀 I can’t wait for a full serving!! The best part about this place is the food is plant based 🙌🏾 It’s a must try y’all!! I also ordered a cheeseburger, classic seasoned fries and an oat milk vanilla shake! It was like a fiesta in my mouth 😝 Download the app to order online and earn points for free food! It’s a bit pricey so those points will definitely come in handy.

Google
Consistency is gone out the window. I ask for sauce on the side= I get no sauce. They staple the bag shut so you don’t even notice till you get you your eating destination. Staff treat mobile orders like trash. How are you at a Whole Foods and giving me wilted lettuce? Don’t bother ordering in advance.

Google
I have ordered online multiple times, and each time, I have not received napkins or utensils. Additionally, I ordered a shake on two occasions, but a straw was never included. The fries are also consistently leukwarm and taste terrible, like chewing plastic. This level of service is unacceptable, especially considering the high prices compared to other options.

Google
Was very excited to try PLNT per the previous reviews, but unfortunately I didn’t find it was up to the hype. The burger I got was their seasonal Baja burger which was quite good, but took an inordinate amount of time to prepare and had just a very tiny scoop of avocado. Their pic had quite a bit of avocado. It was good though!! The service was the main issue. The workers at the front were on the phone and trying to submit online orders when we arrived, fine, but we waited several minutes before we were acknowledged or told “be right with you.” I noticed two other people came and left during that time, as staff were not making eye contact with customers or acknowledging them in any way as they were waiting. I would like to give them a second try if I’m in the area, hopefully they will improve their speed, service, and courtesy with time

Yelp
This fast food restaurant is housed within Whole Foods. Their plant based foods and drinks are expensive AND tasty. I ordered their new breakfast burger. Initially I was surprised with the taste of mustard, then began to enjoy it. I paired it with a cookies and cream shake. Yum! Because we had the dog with us, I used my phone to place the order. We enjoyed our food from the cozy car. Haha!

Yelp
As a lifelong vegetarian, this was a very mediocre veggie burger experience. I ordered the PLNT Mushroom BBQ Bacon Burger with a side of Green Bean Fries. First, the value isn't great cost to portion wise, leaving me largely unsatisfied at the end of the meal. Second, my burger order was also incorrect, with no sauce on the side. The burger itself lacked character and was lost amidst unimpressive toppings. The gluten-free bun was dry and crusty. Overall, nothing tasted very fresh. The fries offered more flavor and uniqueness with the quinoa, corn, flax coating. I wish they'd come with more than a tablespoon of sauce though. Unfortunately, I will be hard pressed to give PLNT Burger another try.

Yelp
5 stars for the food! 3 stars for the kitchen staff manners and cleanliness. Tried PLNT burgers for the first time and honestly it tastes GREAT. No meaty smell (duh) and their patty is just seasoned perfectly. Buns are not dry either! I've only tried their impossible burgers but perhaps I'll try fish / chicken burgers one day. If you are in the area and looking for a healthy meal, PLNT Burger is your spot!

Yelp
It has been many years since I went to PLNT burger, and I used to order from this place a lot during Covid times, but recently, I noticed that their prices have surged a lot since then, so I have steered clear. But I was trying to find T@KO in Whole Foods and the ignorant staff said there is no such thing so I ended up getting food from PLNT (turns out T@KO is inside the PLNT kiosk). The sad tale goes like this: I ordered a patty melt for $11.50. What I got was an extremely sad grilled cheese sandwich with fake yellow cheese that glowed like radioactive goo, and a sad single Beyond burger patty. A cheese sandwich for $11.50? What an overpriced rip off! I will never come to this place again. They used to be a decent place to grab food that was plant based, but it is now a shadow, a shell of its former self.

Yelp
The ladies that work here are absolutely world class. This is the best plant burger location I have ever been to. They cook the food to perfection. A lot of other locations do not cook. The food properly has been my experience mainly leaving it undercooked. Not only do they execute the food perfectly but their attitude and demeanor is so pleasant. I wish I could afford to come here daily just to interact with them. These ladies deserve promotions and races effective immediately. Thank you again for another amazing meal and the best service ever.

Yelp
The banana milkshake shake was excellent! Generous amount of fries, the Berger was delicious. I asked for maple sauce on the fries and they gave me honey mustard. Other than that, everything else was great.

Yelp
I ordered the BIG burger on the app and when I arrived for pick up, it was ready for me as estimated within 15 minutes. This is a new veggie burger on their menu with a quarter pound patty with lettuce, tomato, cheese, and pickles. It's similar to the Whopper, but even better. Give it a try!

Yelp
I love getting a burger from here. Taste likes a really good burger. It is a little expensive but you do get a lot of food. I usually order as soon as I get there and then do some grocery shopping. By the time I am done with groceries my food is ready. The fries are great too.

Yelp
Delicious "burgers" and you NEED to also try breakfast sandwiches. PLNT specialists at this place were pleasant!

Yelp
Very detailed oriented, polite and great customer service ‼‼ This was my first time ever having PLNT Burger, I wish we had this in Oklahoma!!!

Yelp
Ordered from Colombia location, and noticed the chicken patty and lil dippers looked different and asked team members there about it who said they "squish" them now. Confused, we called the silver spring location and were told that the chicken patty has changed to Tindle chicken patties and was told it was gluten free however the Tindle website says otherwise about their products. The allergen info on the plnt burger website has not changed to reflect this new item and the menu still says Meati chicken patties when I ordered from the Colombia location. Very upsetting to be served a product I did not order and not have accurate allergen info. My spouse also ordered the lil dippers and noted how different they were compared to previous orders, likely another Tindle product and not the regular lil dippers. New products were very unappetizing compared to previous experiences, if these new items are permanent we do not plan to eat here in the future.

Yelp
I was in the Columbia Whole Foods and then right after checking out my groceries...hunger struck me like lightening. Instead of driving out of the parking lot, we turned around from the checkout and tried this place. What was meant to be a snack split between two people could easily have been double the order and then add some fries. Don't sleep on their mushroom bacon burger!!! If you've ever had a smash burger before, this plant -based alternative surpasses it!!! The sauce is fire, the bread has a nice ample mouth feel, and the mushrooms are marinated and cooked as a beautiful finish. Will be back to try some more!

Yelp
I've been to this PLNT Burger on multiple occasions and it's always been quality. I've had so many items from their menu and they do extremely well at recreating classic meals while putting a Vegan twist on it. On this day, I had the bbq mushroom burger, the spicy chik'n sandwich & the vegan chili and cheese fries. Everything was delicious and I got my food in about 8 minutes which was also a pleasant surprise. This location is inside of a Whole Foods grocery store so you won't get all of the bells and whistles of a regular restaurant, but what they lack in terms of seating, privacy, etc. they overcompensate for with pleasant service and yummy food. I think you will enjoy this Plnt burger location as much as I do. Their consistency is unmatched.

Yelp
Absolutely love this place. The food was fresh and delicious. This is my new favorite spot for plant based meals.
google avatar

Yelp
Ive come here twice this week the food is always fresh and the service is good. I came for strawberry milk shakes, they should have an option to add Oreos to the milk shake option. I love their food and the options they have. I also appreciated not seeing any crazy food handling concerns while there. They were busy and focused, you could tell. They had it where you could place your own order from their tablet, so it's contactless and they would just assist as needed, that was very different, but I can respect it.

Yelp
This was so gross. I asked for my burger to be wrapped in lettuce. It looks like a sausage burrito. This is what I got for close to $9. I want a refund!

Yelp
Its really nice as a vegan to be able to go out occasionally and have a burger. We love going there and just enjoy the experience of feeling like you are eating fast food like back in the day. The fries are awesome too!! I hope the future has more of these in neighborhoods than Mcd's and BK!

Yelp
The double cheeseburger at PLNT Burger is flavorful, juicy, and delicious--pure plant-based perfection!

Yelp
I was pleasantly surprised this week after trying PLNT Burger for the 3rd time. The previous times I've gone, I tried their PLNT cheeseburger and chik'n sandwich, and I remember thinking they were fine but nothing I was excited to go back for. This time I tried the steakhouse burger (apparently new to the menu as of 1/25/2022) and I thought it was excellent. The portobello mushroom pieces really brought out a *natural* type of meatiness that the other sandwiches seemed to lack. The potatoes, caramelized onions, and steak sauce also contributed to an excellent combination of flavor and texture. The sweet potato fries were also very good. Crispy on the outside and soft on the inside, not greasy. The outer crisp seemed to have a thin layer of tempura or something which was nice. The large fries actually is quite a bit of potato to eat, even though it might not look like it from the package. We tried some sauces with the fries - the maple mustard was good. The chipotle (?) sauce was not bad but I think the sweetness of the maple paired better. The herb sauce was mild and hard to taste with the fries. The barbecue sauce was a little overpowering with its sweetness. And of course, ketchup went great with the fries. I didn't think the sandwich needed any additional sauce so I didn't try them on there. We also tried the blood orange soda which was refreshing and not too sweet. The food was a little pricey but I think I'd go back every so often to get this combination again or to try some of the other things on the menu.

Yelp
Always Good food and good service and they are always fast no matter the time of day.

Yelp
We had the 2 for $20 crabby patties and i was given a free burger for the app signup, I thought the flavor profile was crabby but the texture and consistency reminded me more of claw meat then backfin or lump crabmeat overall pretty good . Took my mom who also enjoyed the sandwich and was surprised how the flavor was so close to her $30 crabcake from a seafood restaurant off Taylor Ave, Parkville, Md. renowned for their crabcakes. We also had the chili fries and string beans w spicy ailoi sauce, lemongrass and cherry soada. Good food beautiful ambience overlooking Lake in A/C on a hot 98° day

Yelp
What's up foodie peeps! Hope everyone is staying out of the heat and eating a boat load of ice cream to stay cool! This post isn't about ice cream lol. I wanted to share my first experience nomming at PLNT Burger. I've got to say I was pleasantly surprised at the freshness, quality, and flavor of the food! I ordered the double cheese PLNT Burger, it was delicious. The sesame bun is soft, fresh tomato and lettuce, patties that had a nice texture and savoriness, yummy PLNT sauce, and cheese that had a texture of rice cakes (not made from animal milk). Regardless if you're vegetarian or not, come try some yummy goodness. Until next time! Nomz!!

Yelp
the service horrible! The woman who is making food has the worst attitude in history. body language is awful and inappropriate. she had to remake my sandwich because of placing the wrong toppings. I have an intolerance to tomatoes. The receipt clearly stated "no tomatoes" then she tried to place the old lettuce with tomato piece on the new sandwich. OMG!!!!! oh would have thought that I took her money or something. I have never seen it so bad. please retrain!!!!! ASAP! I am tired of spending money with bad and incompetent company's! She honestly needs to be retrained or fired. people are spending hard earned money and they should never be treated as if their money, time, or choice in food is not valued. Thank you Ms. Kornegay

Yelp
Located inside the Whole Foods in Columbia, Plnt Burger satisfies the desire for "healthy fast food." I typically order the cheeseburger (no toppings) with a large side of sweet potato fries. The total is about $15, which is a bit pricey, but if you have the Plnt Burger App, there are deals and coupons.
google avatar

Yelp
I'm TRYING (not really, lol) to be more healthy and adventurous when it comes to food, I thought I'd give eating a plant-based burger a try. As an added incentive, I saw a groupon offer which motivated me even more. Plnt Burger is located inside Whole Foods. When you go through the entrance, make a left and go all the way down to the other end of the store. You will see the bake shop and Plnt Burger is to the right. They have counter seats which are currently closed. When I got to the register to place my order, I told the server I had a groupon. She informed me that I had to spend $16. Not sure why since it clearly says $15. I sucked up the extra dollar, but it's just the principle. You should honor what you say. I ordered a regular cheeseburger meal which included one side and a 10 oz. drink. I chose the sweet potato crinkles (+.30 addl charge for upgrade) as my side, sweet chili as my snack sauce, and root beer for my drink. I also ordered the crispy herb fries and a maple mustard as the sauce. Note, an order of fries come with one sauce. Flavors include: Garden Herb, Bloomie Spice, Maple Mustard, Sweet Chili. Each additional sauce cost 25 cents. For a snack, I got a chocolate chip cookie. I was really hoping that I would like the plant-based burger, but was disappointed with my experience. I didn't like the taste or texture. I wasn't sure if I would even be able to finish it, but I did. At least I can say I tried. I don't typically choose sweet potato fries as a side, but so glad I did. That was my favorite and the highlight of my meal. I would go back for just that! The cookie was good too. It reminded me of a chewy Chips Ahoy cookie. When I got home I realized that I may have gotten the same sauce even though I requested two different ones. I believe I got two of the Maple Mustard. I really enjoyed the flavor. I typically don't enjoy regular mustard, only if it's sweetened. In short, I would choose to eat a salad or a vegetarian entree over a plant-based burger any day. Proud of myself for trying something new. If I ever happen to stop by Whole Foods to shop, I would definitely come back for a snack or their fries.

Yelp
When I first saw PLNT burger on Yelp I was excited since I enjoy a good beyond or impossible burger. It was nice yesterday and I wanted to take my daughter for a walk around the lake so I thought let me make way over to Whole Foods to try this burger joint. I placed my order on their website. I ordered the single patty with garlic herb fries, I ordered my son the double patty, my boyfriend ordered a double steak house burger, the classic sausage, and I forgot I ordered the crispy chkn funguy burger since there was a coupon on their website. We were a little thirsty so we tried the lemongrass and kola beverages. So I was anticipating a nice size burger when I opened the wrapper and boy was I disappointed. The burgers were very thin and they didn't have the same thickness of the beyond burgers I purchase, unfortunately. The vegan cheese tasted pretty good surprisingly. I thought the fries were just ok, a little too salty, but the dipping sauces were good. The beyond sausage was my favorite, I really enjoyed the relish and spicy mustard toppings. The chkn funguy sandwich was just pure salt and the drinks were loaded with tons of sugar, we ended up throwing them away. Overall I will return but only for the beyond sausage and I want to try the sweet potato fries, I feel this combination will be delicious. This would not be my do to place for vegan burgers, too thin, and pricey. We spent a little over $50 bucks for a small amount of food.

Yelp
This restaurant counter is located in Whole Foods. I don't believe they are directly affiliated with the market. I've enjoyed a plant based burger here before but today I decided to try the plant based chili bowl. The chili was flavorful and delicious, it was topped with vegan cheese and vegan sour cream. The portion size was just enough, I didn't check to see if they offer different sizes. I really enjoyed my food as I ate it outside, behind Whole Foods taking in the lake views. This was a great meal for a great evening.

Yelp
Bay-be, let me tell you about the vegan goodness called Plnt Burger, lol. One of my favorite burger spots, because what they do, they do it well. Offering an all vegan menu of burgers and sausages, alongside fries, shakes, and chili. Plnt Burger let's you satisfy your burger cravings whether you're vegan/vegetarian or a typical meat-eater. They're cheeseburgers fall nothing short of a regular beef burger and the chili cheese sausage I opted for this go around, definitely took me by surprise. I'm often turned off by certain vegan fare due to the texture but Plnt Burger nailed their sausage on the head. The texture of the sausage closely resembles their meaty sausage counterparts. Needless to say, I was in heaven. I have nothing but great praises for Plnt Burger. The food is delicious, although it's not healthy vegan food, I still feel a bit better feasting on these yummy eats.

Yelp
The vegetarian diets continues! While in Columbia today running a few errands, my fiancé and I stumbled upon PLNT Burger. It was really a win-win, because I had never been inside of a Whole Foods, so I got a double experience. The food smelled absolutely AMAZING through the bag. As soon as we got into the car, we decided to dig in. Boy, am I glad that we did. There is nothing better than piping hot food. Many times when you order meat substitutes, the food has a weird flavor. But not at PLNT Burger! Both the "burger" and the "sausage" tasted just like meat, with no funny after taste. The onion rings and the herb fries were awesome as well. The sauces are a must try. I especially enjoyed the maple mustard. This place is a vegetarians' dream, makes me actually want to consider going completely vegetarian!

Yelp
The last two times I've been here have really made me reconsider going, the wait times can be frustrating and the previous time I was here the burgers were too burnt. This time was just unbelievable, I should've checked the order before going home but upon arriving home I found that the burger ordered extra cost as gluten free was not indeed gluten free. On top of that the sauces paid extra for were also not included. I ordered before I got there...So it was like 15 minutes before arrival. And after waiting about 30 minutes I got the items, there were other frustrated customers waiting around too. So plan on an extended period of time for the wait and quite possibly un-eatable items. Maybe in another 6 months they'll be good again however, for my safety I probably will not be going back anytime soon.

Yelp
Well first of all these new wings on your menu are the bomb!My wife and I were both impressed with the size portions of the 4 pc wings! We used our reward BOGO 50% off! The wings were hot fresh out of the grease, golden brown and delicious, the Garlic Parmesan coated was spot on with it's taste, the plant based wings tasted like the ones you would buy at BUFFALO WILD WINGS ! Even there Cauliflower Wings don't taste as good as these, no lie! I think one of the things that separates your food from other places that serve Plant Based foods, is that you don't cross contaminate the foods, your diner is set for plant based cooking, your Flat Top Grill has never have any real meat like beef cooked on it, your fryers only fry items that are plant based also, like if I goto some other place to eat they fry French Fries, Chicken Tenders, Fish Fillets in the same fryer or they will cook a burger on the same grill where beef has been on! The customer service is always on point, whenever I go to any of the PLNT BURGER locations! Also, you kitchen is always clean and polished! That makes me feel good to know that your employees take pride in the way your open kitchen appears to the public! Please keep the WINGS on the menu, I think this would be an excellent choice added to your men! As a retired Chef and a member of the Plant Base community, it makes proud of Chef Spike and his staff making sure that Plant Bases food is at the forefront! Have a great day!

Yelp
This place is AMAZING. I got their cheeseburger and sweet potato fries. I usually am not a fan of sweet potato fries but these ones were soooo delicious. I also am not a vegan and usually don't enjoy vegan foods but their burger was so good. I think it might've even been better than most real hamburgers I've had. Their lettuce and tomato on the burger were super fresh and tasty too. I will definitely be returning here for another cheeseburger and sweet potato fries.

Yelp
One of the most friendly amazing cashiers I've ever interacted with works at the PLNT burger in the Whole Foods in Columbia. She was so nice that she honestly deserves a promotion. This young woman was so nice and accommodating that I felt like I was being given special treatment or something. Like... did she thing I was a dignitary... or the owner of PLNT Burger? Cause man, was she so wonderful! I've had PLNT Burger several times before actually, but I was being treated by the actual owner so I couldn't review. Ironic right? So I'm happy to be able to slip into this new PLNT Burger undercover, and confirm what I had already thought I knew about the chain: PLNT Burger is delicious. I got the DBL PLNT Burger... cause I'm me. It was REAL messy, and I remember it being messy but not that messy. I would have sliced the tomato a bit thinner ( it kinda slid off the sandwich cause it was too thick), and maybe a bit of a thicker bun (or a mid bun) to hold the contents together. That being said, the taste is the penultimate thing I care about, and it was quite delicious. Just like the one I've had at PLNT Burger Silver Spring. This concept is vegan and Kosher FYI. So bring your veggie friendly freinds! I also got the sweet potato fries cause I knew they were awesome. A lot of the dipping sauces too, cause I love dipping everything into everything. Happy to report that the quality and taste were just as on point as the times I've had it in the past with the owner. Congrats Jonah, Spike, and PLNT Burger Fam on your expansion. So happy I can quell my vegan cravings in Columbia now. Ya know... I kept my receipt so I could reference the cashiers name... but of course... I can't find it now. But I did take pictures, and they are time stamped, so whoever the young black woman was working on June 13th at 7pm; Please give her accolades. She is just the type of person you want representing your brand :)

Yelp
Service was amazing! The young girl that worked the register was very knowledgeable and patient. The food was amazing! Fresh, and we didn't wait long! 10/10 would recommend!!!

Yelp
I ordered the plant based chickn sandwich and fries ! It was delicious. My daughter and husband tried it and couldn't tell the difference

Yelp
Great kids meal size, convenient pickup in Whole Foods, and hot fresh fries for a vegan meal! Well seasoned and sauces were amazing

Yelp
This burger definitely hit the spot. I usually get the plant burger but wanted something different and the burger delivered. The fries are always a hit with the dipping sauce. Great veg burger spot located inside of Whole Foods.

Yelp
Food is wonderful, and you get service with a smile. I stop by here everytime I pass through Columbia.

Yelp
I absolutely love this place. I do not eat here all the time but it is a good place to eat junk food for vegans. This particular location is located in Wholefoods. It is set up in a bar like fashion. It is very clean in the store most of the time and it is a pretty comfortable place to eat. The menu isn't terribly big but it is still very good food. I am able to get a good amount of food for a decent price as well. I would encourage anyone to just try it because it is genuinely good food. They are also a part of door dash so you can get it anywhere in the vicinity.

Yelp
Good plant based fast food stop with good flavors and options to choose from. I got the Mushroom Bacon Burger and it had the perfect caramelization of onions along with nice hints of cheese and mushrooms. The burger was not filling, but it was a good quick snack. Their sweet potato fries were tasty as well; had a nice crunch to them. It felt nice to be able to eat these items while being focused on plant based ingredients.

Yelp
I was at Whole Foods last month and hungry, so I tried the regular PLNT burger with the herb fries...yum. That burger is probably just as good if not better than Impossible. The burger was fresh, the fries were addictive, and the prices were fair. I will definitely be trying other menu items soon.

Yelp
Recently decided to eat vegan. It's so much easier when there are good places like PLNT to get a great sandwich!

Yelp
So happy to have tried this place! Love seeing a vegan twist on fast food! I've heard a lot about PLNT Burger in the area and I really enjoyed it! I had the spicy fungi burger which was really flavorful. Interesting concept of taking oyster mushrooms and mimicking chicken. I enjoyed the fries and spicy aoli as well! Would definitely love to try more of the menu

Yelp
A friend told me about PLNT Burger and I was really excited to try it out! Everything served from my understanding is vegan. I personally enjoyed my food but the portion size was really small. I wished the burger and fries were a tad bigger so I would be full. I enjoyed their sauces as well! The people working there were really nice!

Yelp
The Burgers, fries and shakes are amazing and customer service is great. Also very conveniently located in a nice Whole Foods grocery store.

Yelp
As a vegetarian who has struggled to find foods from back in the 90s as a kid, to now having options such as PLNT burgers, it is really a dream come true. I expat lot from the chain and they haven't disappointed me yet. I have tried their mushroom steak burger, double cheeseburger, and the fillet sandwiches. For the steak burger, I found it to be saltier for sure. It need some sweet and acidity to balance the saltiness. But the double cheeseburger was on point. Really juicy plant burger with a cheese that you can't tell isn't made from milk, warm and melting was a pleasant surprise. The flavors had depth and meaning to the burger. I've had plant burgers before but never plant based fillet so I wasn't sure what I was expecting but the taste was not bad for the first time. I was hoping to have the tartar sauce to make a big impact but it was slightly mute. In all, happy that this chain exists but there are opportunities to make increase the flavors for sure.
