PLNT Burger

I walked by several times and saw a sign inviting me to try PLNT Burger for free. So, I ordered the DBL PLNT Cheeseburger to give it a try. After tasting it, I have to say I was really impressed with the flavor— perfectly done! The sauce gave it a nice smoothness. I paired it with ginger sparkling water, making me feel like I was helping the planet by saving natural resources with this one meal. Thank you, PLNT Burger!

Ordered the PLNT Burger with cheese. Was disappointed. Service was excellent as well as marketing but the flavor was not good and price was high for the small portion. It was$9 and it tasted like a big if burnt veggies or something. Seems like the drinks, fries, and chicken plant based products were good though.

The food was actually very tasty and I was pleasantly surprised. The only thing is I'd hoped the bun would have been a bit softer but other than that the steakhouse burger was delicious. I do think it is slightly overpriced. I feel for the price it should come as a meal.

Service was speedy. Burger was sloppy and although I put “ sauce on the side” on the ticket 4 times there was no sauce provided on the side. I would not order from the Florida Ave location again. Plnt Burger Silver Spring is the best location. Neat yummy burgers, good customer service where they follow instructions and make sure the customer is satisfied.

Arjhany did a wonderful job of sampling out and getting me to purchase sweet potato fries today. Next level customer service which is hard to find which is why I’m writing this review today. Thanks again Arjhany, it’s my first time wasting at Plnt Burger but I’ll surely be back!

The amount of oil in the food here is sufficient to power half the world's gasoline cars and make Elon musk rethink his electric car dreams. That is more oil in the food here than in the wells of Saudi Arabia. The oil stuck to your fingers can be used to power a poor man's home in India And light 100 villages in Africa. The amount of oil that drips on your shirt can be extracted to send a spaceship to Mars So The food here is healthy and unhealthy , delicious and repugnant at the same time. The fresh vegetables make the burgers extremely delicious along with the vegan sauces. The staff is phenomenal The food that is made is extremely succulent and juicy and matches the pictures on the menu The food is really expensive considering the frozen patties. 19$ for a palm sized burger and tiny fries is not for the every day health conscious individual

Really good vegan food with quick and friendly service. Love the cheeseburger and chicken sandwich and fries are always freshly cooked. Can’t wait to try the rest of the menu.

Ok, I am a new fan. I tried the PLNT Burger in Silver Spring and really didn't like it. I didn't like the food or the eating area. I thought it was over hyped and not worth revisiting. Well, I wound up seeing this location listed on TooGoodToGo and thought I would give it a chance since it's so much closer to me and the surprise bag was only $3.99. I'm so glad I did! They made my food when I got there so it was totally fresh. They gave me a Mushroom Bacon BBQ Burger and Crispy Herb Fries and they were soooooo good. I mean so good that I think I'm sold and don't need to get beef burgers anymore!

Love this place! Ordered delivery from here a few times, but never have been in person. I've had the crispy herb fries (i'm usually a sweet potato fries girl but i like these better than their sweet potato fries which are good too), lil dippers, plnt burgers, cookies (pineapple-oat-carrot). All so good! & they staple their bags before delivery so I actually feel comfortable ordering for delivery from them. Highly recommend!

we ordered through the app while in Whole Foods. They never called our name to say our order was ready or even ask us (two people waiting for more than 15 mins in front of the counter) what name the order was under. when we got our burgers, the boxes were very dented and soggy. the bottom of my burger's box was already seperating by the time i opened it. most of the cheese had melted into the box causing it to collapse i guess ? same thing happened with my boyfriend's sandwich, beat up box and soggy bottom. my burger fell into my lap a few times, this was definitely a messy venture. I'm assuming the food had just been sitting under the heat lamp a little too long. that being said, i have eaten here before and at other whole foods locations and will continue to because the food is delicious. eating the food i was looking forward to was kind of a frustrating experience. service could be better but honestly it's kinda bleak times rn so i can't say i blame them. tldr; delicious (and messy), remember to ask them if your order is ready rather than wait for them to notify you

Negligent / very poorly trained staff. Destroying the quality of the food. It can be better with the right hands. Sometimes the cheese doesn't come melted but frozen. TODAY WAS THE LAST TIME I will visit this place. Please be wary before you eat because the staff aren't careful enough . I got 2 egg sammys and when I was going to eat the second one I noticed something. Mold on my bread. I was driving so I didn't notice at first. But how careless do you have to be to make a sandwich using moldy bread?? Are you not using your eyes ? Or just don't care. Crazy

I visited PLNT Burger after a happy hour at Franklin Hall. I was so happy to be able to turn to an all vegan business to enjoy a hearty meal after an afternoon of beers. I ordered my meal on the PLNT Burger app to make sure I got reward points. I then stood outside the kiosk to wait for my order. I did not see any labeled area for pickup orders. Additionally none of the 3 employees behind the counter greeted me or asked if I was picking up an order. I waited awhile for my order when finally someone asked if I was picking up. When I said yes they handed me my order with clearly had been sitting g there ready without me knowing. I do recommend this location refine their pickup order protocol to prevent this happening to other customers. I ordered a cheeseburger, fries, and fried green beans. The sides were enjoyable. The fried green beans are a creative way to have a less guilty and still crunchy side. I also love that PLNT Burger provides plenty of dipping sauce for their sides. The cheeseburger was very sloppy. PLNT Burger does offer a generous amount of burger toppings, however, most of them fell out of the bun. The burger was assembled a little side ways and their burger bun falls apart easily. The flavor was good and just prepare to use a lot of napkins for this meal. Overall I would go back if I was in the neighborhood. I love supporting vegan businesses and the prices are extremely reasonable for a fully vegan menu. I do think their pickup order practices could improve and I would recommend them looking into a more sturdy burger bun option.

@plntburger a go-to for plant based burgers + food in washington, dc continently located in the @wholefoods on florida avenue here's my order: ACTUAL VEGGIES BURGER green burger patty, lettuce, tomato, dill, garden herb, lemon tahini vinaigrette, feta cheese, and cucumber on a pita + CRISPY HERB FRIES original crispy, thick-cut fries tossed in fresh herbs the actual veggies burger and crispy herb fries were very tasty, hot and fresh - the portion size was also fairly generous and I left more than full - a bit pricey though at ~$18 for the two

Oh man..this place was soo good! I spontaneously ordered from here while getting my nails done because they offered a BOGO deal on uber eats. I ordered their PLNT cheeseburger with PLNT sauce on the side, and crispy herb fries. Both were good and flavorful! The PLNT cheeseburger is beyond meat patty, caramelized onions, pickles, NewFields american cheese (plant based-vegan and lactose free), lettuce, Roma tomato on a potato bun. I also decided to try their PLNT chili, which had a tangy sweet bbq flavor to it, but still yummy. That also was beyond meat, NewFields cheddar shreds (plant based), sour cream, and chopped green onions. Everything was well packaged and very delicious. Not sure of the calorie count, because that food was way too tasty, especially for a meatless option. But I overall highly recommend trying them out!!

PLNT burger always provides good meals for everyone. Their concept to open inside Whole Foods is unique and easy if you are shopping. With that being said it would be nice to have a full restaurant to enjoy #Veganuary

It's located inside of Whole Foods. The burger was delicious. We got sweet potato flies and that was amazing. The lady took our order want that nice but over all experience was good

I got the plant based ice cream, it was really good, I enjoyed it. They were about to close so I couldn't get any main food, the workers were nice and the service was fair.

way too expensive the filet fish was bad no tarter sauce very small pieces of the soy and a ball of soy protein I couldn't bite down on. def not worth $12!!!

Finding spots that you can literally eat everything on a menu when you have allergies/intolerance to certain things is such an amazing feeling! They have beyond meat which is used for the burgers and the sausage. They have several burger options to choose from. From a simple cheeseburger to a bbq mushroom burger, something to please everyone. Oh they even have two sausage/hot dogs you have to choose from as well. I am unsure what the bacon is, but they stated it's all plant base. If you have a gluten intolerance they have special buns or you can get it spinach wrapped. Oh my goodness let's talk about their fries....man oh man if you choose the herb fries or the sweet potato ones you will not be disappointed! They are both so darn delicious. They offer bloomies (fried onion fries) but I didn't order those. After all the main choices would you believe they have dessert as well. You have a choice between two cookies, one is pineapple carrot and the other is chocolate chip. They are both vegan and delicious!!! I loved the pineapple carrot one so much! They also have lactose free milkshakes. Your choices are chocolate, strawberry or swirl. I choose swirl but it wasn't my favorite at all. It was a bit too chocolate tasting for me, but if you really enjoy chocolate you will love it. They offer soft serve as well but I didn't try that. Don't forget about your drink! They have several drinks to choose from but beware the cup options are small. The small is basically a sample cup and a large looks like a regular america small cup. They do offer breakfast but I am unsure of the options other that the plnt egg sammie. All in all I loved this place. I will definitely be back!!

Not only was their fried chicken, Mac n cheese, and coleslaw DELICIOUS but I have to give an extra big shoutout to one of the gentlemen working at this location who took care of my catering order and went so above and beyond, I was incredibly grateful. Thank you for the amazing customer service - and my guests LOVED the food and almost none of them were even vegan!

I unfortunately had a very poor experience there this week. My order was incorrect, the staff ignored my notes in the order, there was a thick black hair in my food, the wait was well over 15 minutes, and the staff weren't wearing their masks properly. I was so disappointed, particularly since this location operates out of a Whole Foods! I emailed the company to bring this to their attention immediately so they could take corrective action, and appreciated receiving a thorough response several days later, suggesting the company aims to improve.

This review is based upon the grilled cheese sandwich and tomato soup. This is the wackest & poorest looking grilled cheese sandwich that I've ever seen and EVER had. Y'all picture of yalls grilled cheese sandwich is an imposter! Y'all do plant-based burgers the BEST in the city!...Hands down! BUT the grilled cheese sandwich, if y'all not going to do it right by America's standards...PLEASE leave it alone. And this tomato soup strongly needs some salt, olive oil & flavor (basil). Thank you...Do Better!

I'm really glad I tried this restaurant in Whole Foods. I ordered the Chik N'FunGuy with crispy herb fries and it was wonderful! Better then I could have expected especially being a mushroom type inner "chicken". I ordered a gluten free bun which was pretty standard but good compared to many gluten free buns I've tried previously. I will definitely come again as it was truly a unique sandwich and I already want another. I would have given 5 stars but I payed for added tomato and extra pickles which I think was over looked because there were only 4 pickles and no tomato at all. I didn't check the order when I picked it up so I didn't give them the opportunity to correct the mistake. Otherwise, my meal was marvelous.

Food is good. But the sodium content in the food is high. Something to take note of if watching your salt consumption levels.

i got the mushroom bbq bacon burger and crispy herb fries. they were good, but the service was absolutely terrible. the tall darkskin guy just stared at me until i told him i had a pickup order. wtf? no hello or anything. they're lucky the food is good.

As a lactose intolerant person that eats limited amounts of meat, I have a hard time finding something equivalent to a fast food Burger and fries. Checked out the January deal - a cheeseburger for $3.95. On the side got bloomies and sweet potato fries. The burger was so absolutely classic! Tasted just like McDonald's and that's a good thing! Besides where tasty and crispy and portions were fair but not exorbitant. Got a swirl of chocolate and strawberry soft serve with sprinkles. Lactose free ice cream is oftentimes a bit icy and this one was similar. Tasted a little bit like a Frosty from Wendy's!

I love PLNT Burger! The vegan burgers and shakes are so delicious and are my favorite. Their customer service is top-notch, and they have always been happy to help me as a customer. I've messaged them on Instagram and they've been prompt in responding and assisting me with orders or questions I have. I'm ready to see more locations!

Being a vegetarian, my family loves PLNT burger. I've been to a few locations and I think this is the best location yet! Majority of the staff I've encountered at this location have been helpful and knowledgeable.

I only come here for the mushroom bacon, the bloomies, and the carrot cake like cookies! Since I only get to PlntBurger once in a blue moon, my mom wanted to try it out! She enjoyed everything especially the bloomies and I'm still in one piece! I do like that this location is inside the Whole Foods by my doctor's office if I don't have time to get to Navy Yard or ordering by Uber Eats.

I can't get enough of this place! The food is awesome, the staff are friendly, they're super on top of all their Covid protocols, and, the best part, the delicious food is also good for the planet! What more could you ask for in a restaurant?

I never knew plant-based burgers could be so good! I'm not even vegetarian, and I have become a huge fan of this spot. The Chik N Funguy and the Spicy Chik N Funguy are mouthwateringly delicious - who knew oyster mushrooms could be so meaty and satisfying? I also really enjoyed the burger, the Oatly shakes, and the crispy fries. And to top it off, the loyalty program on the app frequently offers fun rewards and free sides. I've brought several non-vegetarian friends to try the sandwiches and they were equally impressed. The staff is super friendly and the food is ready in minutes, and always hot and fresh. Even if you're a meat lover, try this place - you won't regret it!!

Always a great experience ordering from PLNT Burger. There really are limited vegan options in Shaw too so huge they came to Florida Avenue. I love their new menu boards as well. My go to is a cheeseburger or classic link with added jalapeños. You can never go wrong with an oat tasty or soft serve too. So so delicious and reasonably priced!!!

I had seen the hot food/grill walk-up setting while grocery shopping in Whole Foods Market. This time I opted to try. Oh so delicio. I had the french fries, the onion rings, and the most fantastic milkshake_Mint Cookies & Cream. I thought, nah. But, I had a small shake while waiting for my side kick of fries & rings. Devoured the small shake and ordered a large shake to go. The food was extremely hot, tasty, refreshing and lite. I'm craving as I type. I'll take a moment to shout-out Mgr Mike & his Team at this locale.

Anthony, Eric, and Mike were THE BEST!!!!! They made my visit so great. They were patient. They were kind. I come here often and it's people like them that make me want to keep coming back!!!! Thanks Plnt Burger, I'll recommend this location to EVERYONE. (Also, the food is pretty amazing lol)

Excellent nuggets and spicy chick'n sandwich. I was extremely impressed with the likeness of both entrees to real chicken.

my first time at a plnt burger! i had the chik n funguy sandwich.. made with oyster mushroom! it was pure deliciousness! the sweet potatoe fries(with maple mustard sauce) was a great compliment to my sandwich! loved it & i will be back for more!

I'm so past the point of frustration that I needed to write this post. Today was the fourth time I received an incorrect order. I have called and notified PLNT Burger about the incorrect orders and finally gave them one more chance today to make it right. I am sick of wasting my money and having to throw away food that is wrong. Not happy at all. I will not be returning and I will be sure to let everyone know what terrible service there is here. If you are in the food business it is so important to make sure if someone asks for NO SAUCE 5 times you don't slather it all over the burger rendering it inedible. Awful.

amazing vegan eats and fries here! I love the beyond burger patty and the special sauce, would recommend everything on the menu

Awesome burgers. Came by here while visiting friends at the nearby colleges. Loved my cheeseburger and my friends raved about the mushroom bacon bbq burger. Defiantly will be back to try more options
