"Open until 3 a.m. on Thursday and 4 a.m. on Friday and Saturday, this spot in East Dallas offers quesadillas that will scratch the itch for some protein and cheese on a tortilla late, late at night. And most of its offerings are right around $10." - Courtney E. Smith, Rachel Pinn

It was a perfect intimate spot for a late Sunday date with my husband. The staff had patience with our ordering process and understanding. We appreciated the gourmet application to street food; the food was delicious!

Great food in a cool spot. Loved the variety of flavor options and ingredients. The brisket quesadillas with Avocado sauce on the side are delicious. The smell and taste of the brisket is surprisingly good, reminding me of a BBQ place. Friendly staff and cool decor inside the restaurant.

The quesadillas were fantastic! Wish I was in town longer to try all the options. Lots of flavors and sauces to choose from. You can "make it dirty" which grills cheese onto the outside... also amazing. Very clean and modern environment. Staff was all very friendly. Definitely suggest checking this place out if you get the chance.

Probable the best Quesadilla place. The ingredients are fresh, and cut perfectly I can chew every bit with ease, and the flavors are great. I have tried the Escobar, El Padrino and the Jesse James. Definitely love the Escobar with Plomo sauce or Sour cream. And yes you will want to make it dirty, the crisp up some cheese on the tortilla, wow that was good.

Food was INCREDIBLE! Loved the ‘Rick Ross’ with smoked brisket. I made it dirty to get the cheese crusted quesadilla, delicious. The queso was really good too.
Atmosphere was fun. Quick bit, but maybe a little messy!

This is the Vasquez, hardly any Chicken or Cheese. The pictures on the website are false advertisement at it’s best. This was my first time & I’m highly disappointed. We spent $30 for 2 tortillas basically because they lacked so many ingredients. I also selected the Spicy Mango crema, which is required of your order & I didn’t receive it. We also paid $2/each to make the quesadillas dirty & it lacked the toppings for that. It was just overly burnt cheese. I wouldn’t recommend Plomo nor would I ever go back.
UPDATE: I was contacted by the owner Omar about a credit to order again, for free in hopes to change my experience. I can say this time the order was the Escobar & it was much better. More ingredients & I received my Crema, I didn’t order it “make it dirty” so I can’t report that has improved. I hate that it took for a bad review to get a proper order but I hope Plomo stays consistent.
