In a recent visit to Montreal my partner and I stopped in at this bakery to find some croissants. What we found was much more though. The man behind the counter, regretfully I did not catch his name, was an absolute joy. My French is terrible, I wouldn't even call it passable, however he spoke to us both with so much patience and helped us get through the basics of our order and provided tips on proper pronunciation along the way. Our food was incredible and we knew we'd be back the next day. The second day we arrived he jokenly said (I think) "all in French today?" With a smile on his face. Again he was so warm, inviting and patient with us both. When we told him we were leaving Montreal and heading to Quebec he offered us a parting gift, a baguette, and wished us a safe journey. A thoughtful gesture that we both very much appreciated. Our food, drinks, AND experience both days were incredible. If you're in Montreal, stop by this bakery, you won't be disappointed.
Merci poulet voyage 😉
