The Plough is located within Marriott and provides a standard dining experience- inviting ambiance and excellent service. We were seated instantly and our food arrived without delay. The food, however, was incredibly mediocre- not bad, but entirely unremarkable. Tomato bisque was chunky and reminded more of a pasta sauce, and bisque suggests a smooth consistency. Hummus was not creamy either but was ok. I know some people really enjoyed the food there and it could be only my experience.

Food was outstanding! I visisted for a weekend getaway with my wife and the preparation, presentation and blends of ingredients were excellent. I had no reason to leave the conference center to dine elsewhere. We ate there two nights in a row! We had the Pork Papardelle & Pork Belly with Grits the first evening and the next evening, the Center Cut Pork chop, She Crab soup and Endive salad the next. Excellent on all fronts. Jay and Jack were excellent in caring for us. Btw, ask for the seats near the kitchen where you can watch the kitchen magic.

6-29-25 Absolute 10/10 Dining experience overall. When me and my date walked in, we were promptly welcomed and did not need a reservation. The service was extraordinarily friendly and quick, while the food was equally as exquisite. Also, the chef offered us a dessert of our choice completely on the house. Will go again, love it here!

This place is wonderful! I was here for a few days for a conference and the staff quickly got out many drinks (we're lawyers so this is a lot of drinks). They have great cocktails and they served several hundred of us without complaints. I have to thank Gabriel in particular. He's a wonderful bartender and really knows the details of individual cocktails. His service provided an exceptional experience. This staff is on top of everything and they go out of their way to pay attention to small details and somehow do it efficiently. Highly recommend!

We gave Plough a try after hearing great reviews and were not disappointed. We got the Plough board, which we ended up having leftovers of (not a bad thing to enjoy some tasty cheese later in the night), followed by the gnocchi and the crab fettuccine. All of it was delicious! A little on the pricier end of things, but the atmosphere, drinks, and food were worth the trip!

We were very disappointed, but it was Mother's Day, a very busy night for restaurants after a very busy brunch day. We had the hummus, the asparagus and peas, followed by the Spring spaghetti and the Pork cavatelli. The hummus is bitter and astringent. I'm a hummus fan, I've sold gallons of the stuff in my own restaurant back in the day and I can't call this hummus. The asparagus with peas is a chopped salad. Waste of local asparagus and peas shoots. The tacky sauce was indefinable and indescribable. I ate it, full disclosure, but I OMAD (one meal a day) and by 7 pm I'm starving. Moving on, the two pasta dishes were all dente, they got that right. The Spring pasta although well cooked was not vibrant or springy, tiny bits of chopped vegetables, it looked like plain boiled spaghetti, and not a take on primavera. The pork cavatelli - the pork grey, like from a steam table, and I'd be surprised if the portion of pork weighed more than 1 ounce. Maybe you were running out of food? I'm seeing a pattern where restaurants in Lancaster with entrees over $30 are not delivering meals up to that standard. That once you get to the level of pricing, the oversight and care go out the window. Come on guys, you can do better, much better.

This is my new favorite restaurant in Lancaster!!!! Plough was recommended by a colleague of mine and I’m super grateful to experience this. I was meeting my husband for dinner after his golf tournament so we were both hungry. Parking is horrendous!!! Although it is the city but I underestimated this area. I arrived two hours early and didn’t realize that downtown Lancaster has very strict parking regulations. I finally find street parking. FYI, you’re only permitted to pay for parking 2 hours at a time until 6pm. After 6pm then it’s free. Asked the beautiful host if I was able to move our reservation up quicker and she was super accommodating!!! Such a pleasant young lady and so gracious!!! Sat at the bar for my husband. The bar appeared very long and probably could accommodate 20 guests, maybe a little more. Cocktail menu was short and simple. Had a few cocktails that sounded delicious. I had to go with my tried and true of a dirty martini. We were seated by the street window. It was a nice view. Seating was very modern and very comfortable. Menu had a little for every palette. Overall: Location - great being in the center of downtown. Parking - difficult and chaotic during peak hours. Staff - wonderful Service - excellent and on point Prices - reasonable Cleanliness - above par I loved it and my husband being a picky eater also complemented how delicious his dinner was

Waitress seemed moody and not friendly. Very slow and almost like she didn't like us. Food was amazing, I got the cheesesteak- recommended if you decide to visit. Drinks are so-so. Not coming back.
