Pluckers Wing Bar

Great environment. I've been several times for the good vibes and decent food, and while service is often slow I have not had any material complaints until today. Today there was plastic cooked into my food and they did not take any steps to ameliorate the situation. Pictures here.

Great food. Wings and fries basket with Bakers Gold and Spicy Ranch wings. Camera almost got to eat first. Too good.

Ordered extra wet wings. Got. Slightly season wings instead. Ordered queso. Got a free strip of carcinogens with it. Got the order about 15 minutes late. Location was not busy. Like. If I wanted this quality I would have gotten half the cost and gone to pizza Hut for wings. This is pathetic.

Service is terrible -- eventually just cancelled our order because our food never came. We ordered fried pickles and two 10-piece orders of wings. As shown on our receipt, the order was placed at 8:08pm. After about 30 minutes, no food had arrived. We asked about this and they brought out the fried pickles about 10 minutes later. It's on the receipt as "on the fly", so it looks like they forgot about it or never put in the order until we reminded them? More waiting and then a server comes up and asks if we had the two 10-piece orders, we said "yes". So clearly they got the order in the system. Should be here soon. After watching yet *another* group that came in *after us* get their order, we gave up and waved down a server to cash out. You can see on the receipt that we cashed out at 9:06pm. So a full hour and our food never arrived. It was a Sunday -- not a particularly busy night. We watched multiple groups come and go, and people who came in after us get their orders. Nothing was done to reconcile the situation: no expediting the order, no apology. Just "Oh" and *swipes card* I don't know what went wrong, but it reminds me why I haven't been to a Pluckers in a while and why I don't plan to come back again.

I was very embarrassed that the chef didn’t know how to make patty burgers in only at least five minutes, and cooking in ten minutes comes with five patties. But they didn’t. They are lazy and don’t care about food and customers based on their serving foods. What more? They kept old beer that my chug hadn't gotten any fresh foam on the topping. It's dying and old. Why don't they instantly check the keg date before they serve the beer to the customers? How rude. I am going to call corporate beers. They kept ordering frozen wings, not cooking homemade. It's poor to watch stupid customers consume toxic foods.

Long wait. Best to check in online (their site or YELP) to avoid waiting 1-2 hours for seating. The staff is always attentive and friendly but the wait is always always terrible. Even with checking in on Yelp, the table we were eventually seated-to was sitting empty for 20+ minutes so I am not sure why we were even waiting that long. It's also VERY loud with all the sports on all the screens. So not quite the place if you're looking for a dinner with conversation; the staff really seemed to have the volume cranked up high.Round Rock’s Old Settlers Park is the City’s crown jewel of the park system and is a well-known sports destination in the youth and amateur sports leagues. The park’s 640 acres provides ample space for several recreational pursuits such as disc golf, cricket, 20-field baseball complex, 5-field softball complex, soccer facilities, and more. Old Settlers Park is also a place to congregate outside, barbeque and have a game of horseshoes at one of the two pavilions. My Overall Bottom line/s: Good food, friendly wait staff, bad ambiance, bad wait times

Haven’t been to pluckers in a very long time and we decided to go for my husbands “free” birthday meal. Seated fairly quick but right away noticed that it was kinda hot in there and they were using cooling fans. No biggie, it was bearable. Ordered holy mac as an app and it took a while to arrive. Table behind us that was sat after got their app before we did. Thankfully it was hot when it arrived. Shortly after our food arrived. Husband’s food was decent but my buffalo bites were DRY! I thought maybe it was bc I had a smaller piece. Nope. All of them were dry, couldn’t even finish them. Notified the waitress when paying and all she said was “Oh, sorry about that. I’ll like the cook know” - didn’t offer to take them off or to remake them, I mean I barely touched them. Paid and left. Not sure if it’s just the location but we probably won’t be going back.

Was extremely loud when we arrived yesterday night and they didn’t let us sit outside even with the tables available. The waitress was friendly but noticed my date looking for me (since I mentioned I was looking for him), yet didn’t say anything to him even though she was headed back his way, so I had to yell across the loud restaurant for him to locate me. Water and drinks came quick yet everyone who sat after us got food before us so I flagged her down and she knew why, apologized, said a burner was down. That’s fine but the food arrived with barely warm waffles fries. Had to ask for my side salad cause it didn’t arrive with the food, and it was soggy and gross. Had to ask for utensils and my date got up, hunted it down faster than she did. Why didn’t they just give us our sides sooner to keep us from being hungry? His food looked better than mine but my beyond meat wings were gross and I could have done better at home. I was over it so we asked for the check and it showed $19 something which is off but I tapped and it then showed up as $54 something. She said she could get the printed receipt but I was over it and wanted to leave asap. What a horrible experience for my first time there. It was disorganized and ridiculous, especially with the TV ads talking about the high level of hospitality here.
