Pluckers Wing Bar

Hadn’t been to this pluckers in a while. I feel like the food is just a tad bit different than some of the other locations. We had 2 boneless baskets, bone in wings, and a salad. It was my nephews first time eating pluckers, he didn’t like the sauce on his wings but enjoyed the cheese fries and the fries with his meal. Boneless basket is enough for a small lunch on the next day which is what we had.

On Tuesday, 02/10, my grandmother and I dined at Pluckers, as it was her first time visiting. We felt compelled to share a review highlighting the exceptional service we received from Hailey. As someone who has worked as a server in the past, I tend to notice details that others might overlook. Hailey was attentive throughout our visit. Even while managing other tables during her shift, she checked in on us occasionally, often glancing over to make sure we had everything we needed before heading into the back. Her attentiveness and sense of timing were truly impressive. What stood out most was her authentic personality. Her interactions felt natural and sincere, rather than rehearsed or scripted. That level of genuine hospitality is increasingly rare and truly appreciated. If you plan to visit this location, I definitely recommend requesting Hailey. She provides an outstanding dining experience. As ALWAYS, remember to tip your servers. To the owner and managers- make sure you tell her what an amazing jobs she’s doing!

Offering a $1 wing combo was something too good to pass on so we headed down to Pluckers and here’s how it went… Parking is easy with a decent amount of open spots in a very spacious lot. The exterior looks good and there’s a few outdoor tables but nothing I would consider a ‘patio’. The interior is clean and the whole place is lined with enough TVs to make a Best Buy blush. Seems like a great place to be on any NFL Sunday. We were seated immediately and the service was very friendly as well. We ordered a grilled cheese with tater tots, 10 garlic Parmesan wings, and 10 spicy garlic Parmesan wings. The grilled cheese was good, a simple dish hard to mess up but better than an average one either way. The tater tots, however, were bland and textured like cardboard, an unfortunate miss since the grilled cheese was tasty. The garlic Parmesan wings were pretty good too, dry rubbed so no sticky fingers included. They don’t skimp out on flavor, having both a nice garlic and Parmesan flavor combo going on with a good skin crisp, although some wings were slightly overcooked. Lastly, the spicy garlic Parmesan wings were great. The texture was perfect and normally with spice you lose a bit of flavor as it’s overpowered, but not on these. You still taste the everything all the same and get a little zip of heat with every bite. By the end of our meal we were full and very satisfied. Again, the service was great, very friendly. While these weren’t the best wine we’ve ever had, they were still very good and the wall of TVs has us planning to come back for a sporting event or two. Definitely a place to check out over beers with friends on a game night.

This was our second time at this location. We normally go to the location closer to home in Cedar Park. However, we were in the area so we dined at this location (Burnet/183). Both times our experience has been noticeably better all around. Moving forward we will be making a little further drive and dining at this location. Santiago and Luis were excellent.

Tristan was a terrible server. He never came to check on me and I finished my food 20 minutes and waited until someone walked by that I could ask for him. 10 wings were served cold while 5 wings were warm. The fries tasted liked they had been sitting. It definitely felt like I was in a corner they forgot about and he was real quick to pre punch 20% for a tip. Do not recommend this location .

The food was stale & over priced I spent 100$ for 3 people & none of us even enjoyed the bites because they were hard overcooked & seemed to have been sitting a while prior to being served. We purchased 50 bites and took over half of them home. I was a server for about 15yrs so I often don't complain or send food back especially when the service is great. The macaroni was good & fried pickles were also, the service was excellent & the atmosphere was inviting. My 16yr old son also tried the 5 wings in 5 min challenge those were the only wings we got that were fresh out of the fryer you could see the steam coming off those. All of our 1st time being there and likely won't come back.

Great time, great food and great service! Our server Olivia was incredibly kind, super attentive, and made sure we had everything we needed. The food hit the spot as always. Holy Macaroni is an absolute must every time! Already planning our next visit!

I’ve been coming to this Pluckers for decades now. Just a week after getting married, I finally took and completed the hot wing challenge. We sit the bar. My order is the Spicy Lemon Pepper, upgraded to hot (Wet Lemon Pepper.) All drums, chips (the homemade chips are really good to dip in the Blooch! Blue Cheese. This place feels like home, when we wanna just go get some wings and beers and have a relaxing meal. Eric served us and we had a blast!

Heard so many things about Pluckers, I finally had to try it! I got the spicy lemon pepper wings and the garlic parmesan. I enjoyed the garlic parmesan more and hope to try other flavors next time. The tater tots were pretty good and the celery sticks are a nice palate cleanser. The ranch was strangely addictive. Overall the wings are not bad but I felt like they were definitely overhyped. I was too full to get it this time, but I've tried the fried Twinkie at another Plucker's and it's amazing. The most notable thing to me was how frequently our server checked on us. My friend asked for extra celery and she gave her a whole plate too! There are lots of big TV's all over the restaurant. It's a family-friendly spot, there are people of all ages. Heads up that the later into the night it gets, the more people there are.

I love the chicken buffalo sandwich and also service is wonderful and we like to go for trivia night

We came in with coupons they passed out at the Longhorn basketball game. The server acted like using them was a huge pain. Apparently the management passes them out all over town but makes them almost impossible to use. I ordered a margarita and when it showed up, it was so small I was gonna ask them where the rest of it was. But then I tasted it. I didn't want anymore. Have you ever had a disgusting margarita? Never had one till tonight. Congrats Pluckers. You embarrass yourself.

We visited on a Sunday afternoon about 1:30 and sat at the bar. The restaurant had a 45 min wait for two and I guess they were low on help because there were a lot of empty tables. Anyrate the bar was cool other than the food took almost 30 min to get to us and all we ordered was 15 buffalo wings and fries. The bar was full and there was only one person working the bar. Every once in a while someone would come help. The wings were not bad. As far as for eye candy. Well the bar was full and there were about 40 people at the bar and I only saw two women. So that should tell you a lot of hard legs which is good for women and men who prefer men. I watched the game had my wings and beer and departed. Overall not bad and would visit again.

Always the best for us, The Burnet road location is top notch!!! service and good quality are always on point

First time in. Was crazy crowded but a fun atmosphere. Wings were excellent. Came out pretty quick. Fried pickles are different-spears not rounds. The home made potato chips were supreme! Tater tots, ok. Waffle fries were good. Pricing a tad confusing.

When comparing several locations, this is the best Pluckers in the area. The staff care more, I sense that there is less turnover. If you're a longhorns fan, it's got a great vibe during games. I'm disappointed every time I go to a different pluckers (calling you out Lakeline!!).

I love this pluckers, it's easy to go in there and sit down at the bar and grab a quick bite and drink. the bartenders are cool and it's fast and hot when it came out.

Wings are usually great at this location, but this most recent time I went wings were so dry they could break a molar. Borderline inedible. Fried twinkies however hit the spot.

Looking for a place to watch Thursday night football? You're assured they'll have the game here! The food was great, as we've come to expect from Pluckers! Best wings ever ... maybe only second to wings IN Buffalo, but with so many sauces to choose from. Everyone in your party can find something to make them happy! Bryce did a phenomenal jobtaking care of us. We were shocked to learn that hes only been working there 2 months!! The manager Jamie came to check on everyone and was the best!!

It was fine. I swung by here with a craving for pluckers (she is a pluckers girlie ok) for lunch on Saturday. I sat at the bar and it took quite a bit of flagging to get served. Once I had a set waiter, he was pretty swift with the food and as attentive as I needed. Not this specific locations fault, but the Dr. Pepper wings were awful.. granted they weren't my first choice (I'm doing the pluckers challenge to get all the sauces and this was one of my last ones). The wings were perfectly sauced, and the fries with spicy lemon pepper were SO good. If you're still reading, here are the wing sauces to get: -vampire killer -spicy lemon pepper (esp if you do boneless) -spicy garlic Parmesan

Worst seating system EVER!! We booked an online place in line... The system told us to be here between the allotted time frame... we were there...and we were told we need to wait another 15-20 minutes.. wtf??? Their system obviously doesn't work. I will admit that the wings were quite tasty.

Best wings ever! I've been going to Pluckers since they started. my favorite is the bone in spicy ranch all flats. my waffle fries tossed very liberally in fire in the hole and topped with blue cheese crumbles and bacon!

Restaurant was busy but they did a great job. Per usual, it was loud and energetic- what we enjoy. the food was good, not great this time (4 stars instead of 5).

Waited forever to get seated while there was open tables with that said the service and food is verrry slow.

I Love this location because they always seat you right away and the food gets to you in a splendid time! Plus they play some great tunes to go with the sporT's atmosphere!

Stopped in for a snack and a drink to wrap up the day. Was told to sit anywhere in the bar so I picked a table near the windows that was nice and bright. After 20 minutes no one had come over so I inquired about ordering from the bar, and was told that I had sat at a table that "they were not allowed to serve food at." They offered me one of three tables in the very back where it is dark, all of which were covered with food that needed to be cleaned up. I decided to take off because I didn't want to sit at a dark dirty table. Strangest Pluckers experience ever. I usually go to the Lakeline location, this was my first (and last) time at this one.

I'm going to be realistic here. They are short staffed with a long wait... not a good combination in any scenario to be honest. Regardless, it's all relevant with those subjects addressed... It's a good restaurant. We live in a different environment and must take all angles into consideration. Getting into the good stuff... love wings! Their wings to be specific. Hands down, the lemon pepper always hits home for me. Tender, juicy, great flavors... it's great with a beer. They have so many other variations and options for everyone to be honest. I also liked their starch options. If you come here with a party of 4 or more, you can expand in this area. Get a basket of tatter tots, sweet potato fries, and regular crosscut fries... you are in paradise. We had to toss in a salad just to balance out the meal a bit. When the wings and fries go down your belly, no sweat. The salad will say, "they with me". Makes it all good and gravy. :) Love this place, our server was doing his best all night. Appreciate his attempt for attentive service. Keep up the good work to the staff here. There are improvements to be made all around. Read the other reviews and take it as constructive as you can. *can be brutal to be honest. But you guys kept the quality of the goods solid. Can't wait for another lemon pepper!

I will always be customer Pluckers, love that this location is open really late compared to the other ones in Austin. You gotta be patient though because sometimes the bartenders can be very backed up, especially if you're coming in at night before closing. Wings are always nice and crispy, you can't go wrong with a spicy lemon pepper, or the chili lime. Love all of the TVs everywhere, you will definitely be entertained while you eat your food. If you don't have the Pluckers app, you should definitely get it. Give you either an appetizer or dessert for every time and as long as you order two entrées.

the food is always on point. not a fan of how the food comes out sometimes but it's delicious nonetheless. very courteous staff.

The service I've been receiving is good in the dining room, so that is bringing me back. Right now the bar is hit or miss--but I realize sometimes they have been busy focusing on drinks. That said, Pluckers still serves a full menu at the bar, so they should always be ready for that. The food has always been on target. Can't go wrong with any wing order order; I recommend the ranch rub. I also recommend the Buffalo chicken salad--still get chicken with any sauce, but with a beautiful salad that includes cheese, bacon, tomatoes, cabbage, carrots. Regarding appetizers, my favorite is the fried pickles. So good! The problems with this restaurant are 1) it's starting to look rundown. Two notable things are the bathrooms are worn out and the floors are beat up. 2) the hostesses are not friendly. I wonder if they even want their jobs or if they just get annoyed by the public engaging them.

amazing experience as always! the staff is great and super friendly. the wings are amazing. always stick with the classic spicy lemon pepper. trivia night on Wednesdays is the best.

My wife and I love pluckers. It is a sports bar with the best "bar food" in town. If you're expecting a luxury restaurant it is not that, but if you're looking for excellent drinks, the best wings in town, and overall great food, this is the place for you. Staff is always friendly, sometimes busy, but always nice. We go often and will continue to do so.

Won some free wing coupons after an Ausin FC win so went to lunch with my brother to use them. Ordered some the spicy lemon pepper (buffalo medium and lemon pepper combined) wings and some fries. The sauce was delicious and the wings were perfectly fried. The waffle fries were also nice and crispy. Service could've been better but overall a good experience and would return for the food.

My last visit went smoothly, in spite the fact that our table was served by a server in training. All went well. Good was great! That's nothing new, because Pluckers always comes through!

I love Pluckers and this is one of their best locations. Plenty of TVs and bar space and more than anything I come back for the wings--my 2 faves are just normal Buffalo Hot, and Spicy Ranch. The Bar could have used some help tonight as 2 bartenders to cover the restaurant AND us sitting at a 360 bar was insane--that's on management, supply chain covid and whatever...did I mention the Cowboys were plaing at Tom Brady's house in the playoffs and still--2 bartenders? Oof. Been to this location a million times, but keep forgetting to review as I typically don't review anything but fine dining. This should be 5 stars, and when they learn to schedule it will be...4 for now. I wish things had been more lively for atmosphere, but the game was a blowout.

I sat at the bar and had a chicken tender basket. The bartender was very helpful. The food was better than I expected and easy better than Buffalo Wild Wings. I enjoyed the ambiance. It was not too loud. I'll come back. Also, cool rewards app!!

it's been awhile since i did all you can eat wings on Mondays (before 2020 i did it yearly), my previous experiences have generally been ok with the first twenty wings coming out quickly, 21-30 and 31-40 coming out after awhile, and then 41-50 may or may not show up 2 hours later. Which, fine, whatever, maybe 5-6 data points isn't that much. So 20 to start, 10 wing follow up waves. IIRC it was $17 dollars in 2008, and it slowly rose after that. So what we're looking at now is $32 (before tax/gratuity) for 20 wings to start, and then 5 wing waves that i guess are rate limited? A friend of mine actually timed it this time because my past experiences never making it past 50 wings were a running joke and it took 45 minutes for us to get their orders and my initial 20, and then 25 and 30 took another 32 minutes each. The friends I was with joked that the waitress was under pressure to rate limit all-you-can-eat people since my ask to preorder future waves were rejected, and lamented that the 5 wing waves were kind of sad. What i'm getting at is if your goal is to take the all you can eat literally and get past the initial twenty, you may want to get there early and bring something to do. Other than wings 21-25, everything came out piping hot at least. I still really like spicy ranch and mangonero but i wish i got to keep going down the flavor train without needing to wait 30 minutes a round.

Place was not busy at 3pm in the afternoon. I would say 15% full. Sat at the bar for 10 minutes before the bartender could bother herself to take our drink orders. We ordered and waited 15-20 minutes to get cold wings. Awful, will nit be going back for a long time.

Saturday on Mother's Day i did my reservation online on my Yelp app the waiting list was long I was the number 28th on it but after an hour waiting I was call at 4:24 that my table was ready the restaurant was not that full since I was too early for dinner, well we enter the restaurant and the first person I see on the Desk was this lady on a nice blue t-shirt I guess she was the manager, I have never see anyone workers like her on this place at all She wasn't friendly at all no welcoming me and my family. No smile at one point I was like I don't want to judge anyone because maybe she was passing by a bad moment or something but I saw her minutes later setting another table and her attitude was the same not sure if she's not happy on her position or something but to be a manager there is more hospitality to Learn for Sure because you have to be around guest all the time, Our server was ok but at the beginning he was a little unhappy maybe because of he's manager or something our refill were hard to get on but at the very end he came to our table to check on us and we asked for few more refills they take almost 7 to 10 minutes to get our refills no problem on this I do understand servers are busy sometimes, Manager never check out table for any comments or concerns Also almost forgot to mention that our food was cold from 1cold to 10 hot, our food was around 4, I did asked my family to wait for the server to ask him about it but my family was desperate to eat so we never mentioned anything, At the end we get moms meal for free because it was Mother's Day Lol anyway thanks for everything, Just keep in mind Hospitality is very important to work around people, Please excuse my bad typing My English is bad as my typing Lol

We came here during lunch and the food was great, but what really impressed me was the service we received. Daniel was nice and extremely attentive. I don't really have much to say I just think the business should know they have a greater server.

Wings were hard and dry, didn't even cut my celery, brought out celery big enough to where I couldn't dip it. Service was average at best. They did take the time to ask how everything was, I just didn't want to send back and wait another 20 mins. Ambiance is average, basically sports bar with lots of TVs.

This place fell off. Used to be one of my favorites, now it's impossible to find a table. Sad! Edit: I'm back... took 30 minutes to split the checks. Won't be coming back for a very very long time.
