Pluckers Wing Bar

So I went to Pluckers this location, Specifically, this location The last Saturday of 2025 and had one of the best days in a while till the point that I went to work it was actually ready for the college football game, but then I told my cousins from California(Who has never had it before) that we should try pluckers going into the new year and as highly as I wanted to write a review, that was good … The size of these wing gets and even the sizes of the pieces of chicken were very disappointing and I’ve had the pieces literally days before so for me to have two different experiences in the same turnaround time made me realize that ordering online from pluckers is not the best experience, especially if they give you pieces like this.

Pluckers always delivers. My family took me for my birthday. Great customer service, great food and good time. Bakers gold and Garlic Parmesan are my go to and that brownie was so good. A+

We showed up around 6:30 PM with a party of 15—half adults, half kids. The parking lot was nearly full, but we managed to find a spot. The place was packed, and the hostess quoted us a 30-minute wait, which thankfully ended up being closer to 20. We were seated in a separate room with large roll-up garage-style windows. This time of year, it’s hot outside, so the AC was blasting. Honestly, it was freezing—I wished I’d brought a jacket. Thankfully, the waitress turned off the fans after realizing we weren’t the only ones shivering. She was attentive from the start, taking drink orders for all 15 of us without missing a beat. It took a few minutes, but everything came out fine. Most of us stuck with water, but we also ordered the “Pregame” appetizers: fried pickles ($5), holy macaroni (fried mac & cheese), and fried cheese (mozzarella sticks), both $10. All were worth trying, but the fried cheese stole the show—crispy, gooey, and absolutely delicious. For the main course, we ordered about 60 wings along with some kids’ meals and other entrées. I’m here to talk wings. Our five sauces were: • No Sauce – Someone in our group wanted this. Personally, I think it was a waste of money. Dead last. • Medium – Standard buffalo with a touch of heat. Solid, but nothing special. #4. • Gochujang – Korean-style, hard to describe, but better than Medium. #3. • Bakers Gold – A sweet and spicy buffalo blend. Really good. #2. • Spicy Lemon Pepper – The winner. A mix of Medium sauce with lemon pepper seasoning—bright, zesty, spicy, and hands-down my favorite. Overall, the staff handled our big group like pros. We were served quickly, everyone left full and happy, and the wings alone are worth coming back for. I’ll definitely be back next time I’m in the area

We’ve been to this Pluckers twice. The wings are pretty good, but last time they still had feathers and quills on them, so that was kind of gross. If you like celery with your wings, there’s a reason it’s free. (You get what you pay for) The celery we were served looked like the photo both times. Why would you diminish your guests’ impression of you by serving crappy celery, of all things? When I brought it to the server’s attention, he didn’t see any issue. He said the celery always looks like that. He didn’t even offer to get us different celery. He actually said he picked that celery out just for us-and those were the best pieces of celery out of all of them..that was as good as it gets. LOL. How ridiculous. This server was not good at all. Waiting tables and hospitality is a lost art and these apathetic, clueless servers will damage your business.

Our visit to this restaurant on August 10 at 6:52 PM was an absolute disaster. We requested a booth for our 1 year old . as tables are unsafe since she grabs food. The hostess, Evelyn, denied us, claiming the booth was for “bigger parties.” When a booth opened up, we asked to move, but Evelyn was incredibly rude, saying, “take it up with your server see what she can do it’s not my problem.” I explained it was for our child’s safety, but she showed no care. Only our family witnessed this, so the staff can’t twist the story. Our server, Nye, was great and attentive, but she was busy, so after waiting 5 minutes, we moved to the open booth ourselves. The manager, Alen, then confronted us, saying we couldn’t stay there because of our stroller. I offered to put it away, but he was dismissive and unhelpful. Only our family saw this interaction, so they can’t deny it. The experience was so awful that we couldn’t finish our food and left early. To make matters worse, when we got home, we discovered the chicken we ordered was raw , completely unacceptable. Despite Nye’s excellent service, the unprofessional behavior from Evelyn and Alen, their disregard for our young child’s needs, and the undercooked food ensure we’ll never return.

Sabrina was a great server! She tended to every need at our table and was always smiling.☺️ Will definitely sit in her section again!

Had a great time at Pluckers! The atmosphere is lively and full of energy, especially during live matches. It can get quite loud, but if you're there to cheer for your favorite team, it's the perfect spot — the kids had a great time watching the game. A nice touch: they even have screens in the restrooms so you won’t miss any action! The food was fantastic. The chicken tenders were fresh and the Salad was delicious too. We also enjoyed the mocktails. The staff was very friendly and attentive, making the whole experience even better. Definitely a great place for good food and a fun time!

I always end up having SOMETHING in my drink floating around, cups are never cleaned properly… bar service is Ok. but the food is always good I got the bypass burger

Food is great, service is great. Everything is great but turn on the AC man... we live in Houston humid weather, restaurant is packed and yall cant turn on the ac. Do it for everybody, not just the customers but the workers as well you can see they're feeling it. Its hotter than hell outside and you come in and the the AC isnt even on, cmon dawg every pluckers be packed asf every week/weekend and yall cant even turn on the damn AC on. I love coming here but turn on the AC on its May already lol

The wings were a surprise! I would recommend the non sweet wings. The fire in the hole hot wings were wet to max and too hot for even me - my wife loved them though.

My family and I visited this Pluckers location this past weekend. Upon entering after standing in a short line, we were asked how many people we had; we had 5 total. Once we told them, the 3 employees behind the podium seemed to scramble and kept looking at eachother like they were puzzled. No further eye contact or verbal communication came from any of the 3, which was quite odd. A couple minutes later, a gentleman stopped by the podium to show us to our seats. We began looking at the menu and also looked for whomever our waiter/waitress might be. It seemed as if it took forever to be approached by someone. Finally, the waitress took our drink orders and brought back drinks with only like 4 small ice cubes in each one. We then proceeded to ask for a cup of ice. Shortly thereafter, we ordered our appetizers and our wing combos. In the past when we've visited other Plucker locations, the wings had an amazing taste and were full of flavor. This was not the case during our visit at the Stafford location. We were highly dissatisfied with the flavor as there wasn't really any! We weren't even able to finish what we ordered as there was no taste/flavor whatsoever. Apparently our faces said it all and a supervisor stopped by and asked if everything was ok. We mentioned to her that the food was lacking flavor and that we couldn't proceed with eating what we had on the table. The lady was nice and comped us for that order, but we still ended up with a check for close to $70. Visit another location if you want delicious wings!

Wings overall - (4/10) Not sure if it's the location but every time I get wings over here they come out very dry - Employees are very attentive Restrooms are clean Overall a decent place but nothing to brag about

So I usually eat Pluckers in the Astro stadium but I decided to come try a stand alone location and this was the best decision ever ! These wings are so delicious the lemon pepper has the perfect amount of flavor. The waffle fries are so delicious and crispy. The atmosphere is very fun with large tables to sit at with a lot of room and TVs that's are showing all the sports games.

We saw this and were in disgust. Manager was rude after we told him like we did it or something. Not even a sorry I been going here for years and this is the first time this happens.

I gave them a negative review the last time but I came back because the food is always good. The server we had tonight was good. She was brand new but I appreciate her attentiveness. The atmosphere is always good except for some rotten eggs but not their fault. Once again this pluckers has proven to me that everyone can have a bad day but they are able to rebound strong. Thank you. We love the wings here and I am glad I don't have to find another wing place.

I am a Dasher that was picking up an order for a customer. I gave the hostess the name for the order and I was sitting and waited for the order to be ready. I sat in front of the hostess both for 20 minutes in my bright red door dash shirt so I finally went up and it was sitting there in their holding area under the desk. Based on this experience 1 star because of the lack of customer service. Especially in their position for being the first experience a customer has coming into that place of business.

Plucker's is your standard pub and chicken wing place! We ate at this restaurant tonight! We are visiting from Ohio! We would not dine there again'! Ordered wings specifically and of course received them any way but how I requested! Had to return food and received mine when our were finished with their dinner! In all certainly not a pleasant experience! I especially don't like a check amount that only the server can see! I had to ask for a printed receipt to ensure the bill was accurate! I would not recommend this place!

the place was very nice, people were very nice but the food was just not what I hoped for. The wings were a little small and maybe it was just the flavor I got (hot lemon pepper) it was so sour, not spicy at all.

The service is absolutely unacceptable , I had to wait an extra 20 minutes for my pick up order and the people at the front counter were no help. I can't believe I've been standing here for 20 minutes and the staff continued to talk to each other rather than give me my food . This place sucks . Excellent service, great atmosphere. We ordered 20 wings of 4 different flavors. The wings were hot, big and fresh. Garlic, teriyaki, cajun, sweet spicy. The fried pickles were perfectly fried and delicious. The cheese sticks were cheese logs. They were huge and delicious. The strawberry lemonade was very refreshing.

We love the nachos and wings. My former boss put me on to this place because that was his favorite wing place. My daughter loves their wings. Everyone is always pleasant. The food has always been fresh the times we have stopped here. They offer a rewards program, and they even have specials for us teachers. Overall, this is a great chill spot for a right after work wind down. ***The restrooms are always clean. That is another plus for me.

I stop be for Father's Day, first and last time I will go to your establishment. Sat at the bar your bartender were great , but your food was not that all great. I order 10 piece wing with fries and celery side of ranch. got my order a bit late, right away I noticed they forgot the celery. I start eating and wing and fries aren't even lukerwarm, I ask for my celery, finally celery get here , I couldn't believe that they didn't even take the time to clean and separated the celery sticks. We waited for a table for 40 minutes, we finally got sat and got our drinks and ordered. Our food didn't come out until an hour later. The server didn't seem to care, he wasn't in the weeds either. No manager came by. Half of our food came out cold. I was told I couldn't get another tall beer and then we saw 5 other tall beers come out of the bar (we were sitting next to the wells) Horrible service from our server. No sense of urgency. Won't be coming back, go to wings-n-things off hwy 6 for better service, better wings, and colder beer. Guaranteed.

Excellent food! The usual chatter of any wing bar TVs going games playing loud. The service during our visit was excellent we placed our order and it came out fairly quick. Overall the wait was not as bad when you checking-in through yelp's waitlist option. Pretty good plucker's location.

Here at pluckers and it's extremely crowded in and outside and it's very hot in here l like their air is broken. When I asked the server he made and excuse that it's the crowd in here. You mean a fire hazard if that's the case. Just straight B/S that their air is not working. The guess in here using the menus as fans.

Came here for a quick lunch and ordered off the lunch special menu which was a great deal. I got 8 wings with a side of fries and some celery with ranch. If you get the 8 wings you can choose between 2 flavors. I got the sesame and the spicy ranch. The spicy ranch was hands down my favorite flavor. It is a dry rub and pairs well with the milky ranch dipping sauce. I also ordered the fried Mac and cheese as an appetizer which was a little dry. We had two waiters assist us today and they were both very lovely and attentive. They also had the Astros game playing on most of the TVs so that was a plus! Overall I had a great experience and enjoyed the liveliness of the different sport games that were showed.

The food was pretty darn tasty but I came to leave this review because of the excellent customer service we received Sunday 11/12/23. The bar was packed with all the football games playing but the staff still managed to check on our party of 6 often. The waffle fries came out cold and within 5 minutes the manager was at our table to replace both baskets with hot waffle fries. The managers (Phillip, perhaps? It was typical football Sunday at a wing joint noise level) were circulating, assisting and checking on customers. We left an establishment up the street because we walked in and stood there for quite a while with no acknowledgment or staff visible. So we left, not wanting to gamble on the level of service. Then to have such excellent service and great food (Maple Chipotle is my new favorite!) at Pluckers made our family fun day even better. I'll update with pics next visit because we are definitely returning to this location!

Manager gave us 2 gift cards with no money after finding plastic in our holy macaroni , employee said he was probably messing around with us ?

A good sports bar for wings and drinks! Although there have been mistakes with my orders in the past, the food itself is great. I always love the buffalo bites combo with the particular sauce flavors I'm feeling that day. And so many appetizers are perfect for a full table. Definitely recommend the fried pickles and holy macaroni! The place can get a little loud (especially if you come during trivia night), so just know this isn't the best place for a quiet conversation. It's a great time for fans of any big sporting events on TV though.

Was informed tonight that their company wide drink policy changed to a "2 large drink" or "4 small drink" max. The manager said "they wanted to be known as the pregame spot, not THE GAME spot." Ok. Back to Hooters it is.

I was referred to try pluckers I took my family for brunch, the waitress was in training but didn't know where her trainer Will was when I placed my order I asked for lemon for my drink she never brought I asked again she forgot again I called her over again 3 rd time she finally brought it then we get our wings with no plates or celery my guest got up and got our plates.. I will never return for the bad service I experienced.

Flavor selection is great. Fried pickles are yummy. Even the side caesar is delicious. Serve time can vary greatly. Lunchtime can be 1 or 2 hours. Very filling.

I think I like Pluckers. Pluckers is Pluckers. They have good wings and chicken tenders that are stupidly large for no reason other than to make you happy and fat like a cat. Have you ever seen how cute fat cats are? That's what Pluckers is trying to do. At first I wasn't sold, especially during the pandemic and post pandemic, because sometimes to-go orders would take forever. I remember back in like 21/22 me telling my husband..."Go order like an hour earlier than you need it. Cause you won't get it in time." So when my husband was insistent in this post pandemic word we had to do Pluckers, I was like sure. A lot of the things that made me want to avoid Pluckers seems to have fixed itself. It also helps we went during off hours too, to be fair. Each time we were there we got exceptionally fast service. The waitress from our first visit was uber amazing. My other visit also went smoothly. The waitress was great, not amazing like the other one, but uber amazing waitresses are hard to find. The food quality is still there. The sauces, portions, everything is still what you would expect. There are lots of televisions featuring every sport imaginable and they also do that cool thing where four televisions do one large picture, so watching Astros game is kinda fun. So if you like chicken, good service, and sports, this is a spot that makes sense to go too. Crowd is pleasant. Staff is pleasant. A win win, for everyone.

Jordan waited on us at the bar this evening. She was incredibly attentive, exceptionally personable, and all around wonderful. It was quite busy during our time and she never missed a beat! Kudos to Jordan! You rock! Food was amazing as always!

Disgusting to say the least. The wings are so big, making me feel like I'm eating pure steroids. Not to mention the stomach pains after eating here. Fries always cold, chicken never has any flavor. I even paid 50 cents for extra sauce. Service is just average, because let's be honest, nobody really cares. It just doesn't hit the same anymore. Used to be one of my favorite wing places. Cheap doesn't always mean good.

Food wise, or wing wise I should say, Pluckers is hands down 5 stars! My husband and I both LOVE their wings and agree they are the best wings in Houston. Service can be hit or miss unfortunately so be prepared to wait. If you love sports this is also one of the best, clean places to come watch the games! You have to try the ranch dry rub wings! I promise you won't be disappointed!

Better than the other pluckers I've tried! I'll never go back to the one in San Marcos. Didn't like they charged for extra ranch, but other than that the spicy lemon pepper is always a win.

If you think Houston wings suck, I don't give a pluck. You probably just haven't been to Pluckers yet. Pluckers is pretty amazing, and we really like the wings. I'm from Buffalo so I have very high standards, and by Buffalo standards they might score a three, but by Houston standards it's four or five star all the way - depending on the location. This particular location is one of the better ones, with good service and big size wings, they come out juicy and very tasty, and if it wasn't for the fact that more than half the times we've been here they've come out warm instead of piping hot, then I would have given five stars. Serve them sizzling hot the next couple of times we come and I will raise it to five stars.

A friend and I were there Saturday night ordered food. We never did get our salads and our waiter never did check on us and our food was cold. That was my second time there and will most likely be my last time. our server kept coming to our table telling us our food will be out shortly and we waited almost 45 minutes to get our food and he never did bring the salads. that I requested as an appetizer.

Always a good time! Everything is so delicious, especially the ranch haha The service is also very nice. This location isn't always too busy, so they seat you faster than other locations. Overall, great ambiance!

the managers at this location are all incompetent except "Philip" who has been the only one to ever truly help and try to make up for the mistakes of his staff. I always come to pluckers from the one in san marcos to the stafford location and I truly have never had such bad service as the stafford location. When I order the honey mustard salads through doordash i am ALWAYS ALWAYS missing my chicken and this has happened not once, not twice, not three times but FIVE separate occasions of ordering through doordash, speaking to a "supposed" manager before the order is even picked up to request them review my order and ensure I receive the chicken and yet each time it still FAILS to come. The staff I believe lies about who's a manager and will just randomly have people answer the phone with names like "slim" who has also been NEGLIGENT about the service their location is providing. When I have dined in the servers are nice and try their best but sometimes will still misunderstand orders so make sure to be extremely clear about what you want. The overall ambiance is like a low-end buffalo wild wings with less and less customers as time passes due to the below average management and service.

Pluckers is my family's preferred wings spot. If you join the Plucker's club, you can get free rotating appetizers/desserts with the purchase of two entrees, which my family utilizes all the time. You also get a free meal on your birthday up to a certain value! Spicy Ranch is my go to flavor, while the mild Buffalo is a close second! The Stafford location is our preferred location compared to the one in the Heights. While the wait time can generally be similar, there is more parking available in the Stafford location compared to the Heights. The servers here are also always friendly. Also a great spot to go watch any games you're looking for, although you can probably expect it to be more crowded during those times.

Pluckers is always great service is the only thing they lack in every location. Food was great and fresh the wait sucks the ambiance is loud.

You guys really stepped it up a notch since grand opening. We dined in to redeem our free birthday meal (as part of their paid membership rewards program) and our experience surpassed our expectations. The food was delicious and our server (Valeria) was great! I ordered the 10 wing combo with waffle fries. The wings came out hot and fresh from the frier (unlike our first experience here during grand opening). We all really enjoy every last bite. I personally thought the tater tots were better than the waffle fries because they were crispier and the waffle fries were slightly limp (compared to Chick Fil A waffle fries). Although I feel that Pluckers became a bit main stream, I'm glad to know that you can still get the same great experience in Stafford as the one I went to in Austin.

Decided to get some delicious wings! The wait time is usually 15-30 min, but definitely worth the wait. The wings are the best! If you are trying to experience a slice of heaven, I would recommend getting the mozzarella sticks! The ambiance is usually loud as they have games on all the TVs. It is perfect for a hangout.

Overall the food is good, margaritas are sweet, fried pickles are yum. Its always packed and have lots of TVs for sports so pretty loud. And the Service is pretty consistent

I can say that being from Memphis, I find myself being more critical of wings than most people. And my out of town bestie is even higher on the connoisseur spectrum that I. So with that being said, the wings were alright. Fried hard and extra wet was the order, but a bit chewy and bare minimum sauce was the receipt. We also had a hair on an order of wings that actually wasn't ours so we would have sent it back anyway, but the hair just was a all around bummer in combo with the cold fries. We did have to speak with a manager, and would have preferred a bit more "back of house"communication instead of relaying the complaint to multiple people before the resolution; Which was a comp of the sides and a free dessert option. I would recommend in a pinch but I'm sure there are better homegrown wing spots about town. 5/10

Service was good, just a little bit of problem with the waitlist. Facilities looked clean, good ambiance but super packed. Food was good, and we got it relatively fast.

Me and the lad went tae this place on Bank Holiday Monday (Labour Day), seein' as oor favourite Vietnamese, Tau Bay, wis shut. We got there a bit efter 12 and were seated straight away. The place wis a bit busy for a holiday, but oor bird/waitress (Moe) got us some brew/tea tae start wi'. We took a good five minutes or so tae look at the menu and decide whit we wanted. Moe took oor order, I got the lunch special: 8 bits o' wings (wi' spicy garlicky parmy sauce), chips, an ice brew tae wash it down, and a couple o' ranch dips on the side. Ma pal ordered the same thing but wi' buffalo hot sauce. Aboot 10 minutes later, Moe brought oor grub ower. No bad for a wait on a busy Bank Holiday crowd. The chicken wings were sound, the seasoning wis well balanced and no too salty. Ma spicy garlicky parmy wings werenae too spicy either, they had just the right amount o' spice and garlic. The chips were forgettable, mediocre at best, but at least they werenae too salty. The ice brew wis, well, it's an ordinary unsweet brew you get at most restaurants. Overall, the food wis alright, no great but no too bad either. The service wis a bit sh*te. We werenae expecting posh gaff service, but Moe kinda forgot about us until we were ready tae pay the bill. We were never offered a refill for oor brew throughout the whole meal. Ma pal ordered a brownie tae go tae take back tae his bairn, but Moe served it tae us on a plate wi' two spoons for us tae share instead o' a tae-go box. Moe, oor bird, seemed like she didnae want tae be working on Bank Holiday Monday, but as customers, we had tae suffer her lack o' enthusiasm as well. We paid the bill and gave her a 20% tip for her troubles working that day. We've been tae other Pluckers locations, mostly the one on Shepherd, and we've never experienced such sh*te service. We definitely won't be going back tae this sh*tehole.

Came here on my lunch hour on a Friday and it seemed to have been really slow. I had a taste for wings, so I made sure yo hit up my favorite wing bar!! I got seated at the bar, my wings came out in less that 10 minutes, the bar area was clean and my bartender was very accommodating and super nice! She had beautiful eyes and she was friendly and made sure to ask if needed anything. The food was hot although they did hold back the cheese on my fries, its ok, I was highly satisfied with the taste of everything. It was great. I highly suggested you try this location out.

Interesting service indeed. Our waitress F'up so many times, we lost count. We placed our order, including one drink and the drink never showed up. We had to grab another waitress and ask her for our drink. She brought it. Our drink came watery and loaded with ice. I said can I have my coke with little ice? The response was "policy we serve drinks topped with ice". BS !! You know, am paying for a coke not ice. Wrong unprofessional answer. The second drink came and it was a Diet Coke. Waiter apologized and said oh I gave your drink to the table next to you. A third drink came and same crap ! 90% ice and the rest coke. The bill came in and again, a major F'up. He had, once again, charged our meal to the table next to us. We had to scramble for cash (as a nice gesture. We could have asked him to re-do it but ok) and we paid our neighbors our bill. So he brings our bill again!! This time with a tip included. I said wtf man we are supposed to see the bill, agree with the total before we even rate what tip to provide . Plus I already paid my neighbor!! His response was well, I have to charge minimum tip you know . BS again !!! We paid our bill to the neighboring table, we ain't giving you a cent and we walked away. As we got in the car, we noticed she was standing in front of us giving us the evil look. The "am going to find you" look. By the way, I ordered a Buffalo wing salad. It was terrible. Since we were threatened, am not going back to that place . Sad for such a fun place to employ incompetents like that.

I was so happy when they finally built a Pluckers location in Stafford! The area didn't have many restaurants before The Grid popped up, so I was happy for the new addition. Parking in Stafford is way better tan some of the other Houston area locations. I've been to this location a few times and was very pleased with the food and service. My wings are always good cooked to perfection no matter the day or flavor I choose. The fried Mac and cheese appetizer is my absolute fav! Try it with marinara and thank me later. Not sure if it's the amount of ice used or what, but the alcoholic drinks I've had barely tasted like alcohol so I'm not always hesitant to order one. Maybe I'm not choosing the right cocktails lol. I've never had any issues when choosing this location. Whether I'm dining in or choosing curbside, I love stopping by the Stafford location.

I am not someone who writes reviews but I go to pluckers all the time and the service today was horrible. My server's name was Velssy. She was not attentive, got the appetizer after my entree, and waited to get the check for a while. The food came out also came out wrong at first then got fixed. The service is great at times but not consistent.
