Plume Coffee is an absolute delight! Tucked away in Silver Plume Colorado, it’s the kind of cute, cozy coffee shop that instantly makes you feel at home. The ambiance is warm and inviting—perfect for a quiet break. If you’re driving to Vail, this charming little café is definitely worth a stop. Great coffee, great vibes—Plume Coffee is a hidden gem you won’t want to miss.

Google
Absolutely one of the best coffee shops in the mountains. Great espresso beverages and unlimited drip coffee! I had the cold brew and the barista (also the owner) refilled for free - so nice. Lots of games for kids and the seating is comfy and combines some contemporary coffee bar aesthetics with silver plume's old mining town vibes. A really charming, friendly place to grab a drink or hang out for a while. Highest of recommendations!

Google
Solid coffee and great Chai latte. The atmosphere is fantastic, very cozy and they even have boardgames and puzzles to enjoy. To top if off they offer bonfire burritos. I would highly recommend stopping by

Google
Such a beautiful nice coffee shop and store of outdoorsy goods! Friendly barista provided a great start to my day and she gave a very generous pup cup to my dog! Love to support local businesses like this! Want to try the cookies next time!

Google
This is a real coffee shop oasis. I only got coffee here, but can't remember the last time I enjoyed a cup more. Great atmosphere. Very comfortable with plenty of seating with window views. Friendly workers and regulars. Wifi worked great. Free refills. And after you're turned up with caffeine, there's a great walking trail that starts right up the street.

Abigail Yewdall

Google
This coffee shop is absolutely precious. The coffee is fantastic and the vibes are so cozy and welcoming. I ordered the lucky latte and a delicious breakfast burrito. Stop here for a great experience!

Vinitha Ravichandran

Google
The owner is amazing engaging in pleasant conversations with the customers. If you are driving on I-70 and need a break, Plume coffee is the place. The matcha and cappuccino were amazing.

Ivan Popov

Google
This little gem of a coffee shop located in quaint Sliver Plume and one of the best options for coffee along this stretch of highway i70. Coffee is great and the ambiance is really nice. Support local business and have much better coffee the same time

Juee M.

Yelp
we loved the vibes and coffee of this place! such a great stop off of I70 and so much to look at and wonderful service. the town was beautiful and picturesque. highly recommend, nice bathroom and cute souvenirs

Jonathan D.

Yelp
Great vibe, good food and excellent coffee. Definitely worth the stop off i70! Lots of interesting local products on offer as well and a nice place to read or rest

John B.

Yelp
Best coffee shop I've been to in Colorado (yet)! The environment and vibe is top notch. It helps that they're conveniently located right off of I-70 in the historic town of Silver Plume. It also doesn't hurt that their coffee is flavorful and well-balanced and their food is quite tasty. We enjoyed their donut(s) and breakfast burrito! Can't wait to make this a frequent stop on our way into the mountains.

Sarah B.

Yelp
Great hidden gem with delicious coffee! Cute inside, and the old west town is super interesting

Greg G.

Yelp
Tucked on Main Street Silver Plume in a restored historic building is an amazing little coffee shop that's one of my all time favorites, Plume Coffee Bar. Cozy, friendly service, open and airy, and with great coffee! I ordered an espresso macchiato to go for the drive up to ABasin, but it's also got space to sit and chill out or do some work on the laptop. Oh, and I gotta mention fast wifi too. Can't wait to stop in again.

Sara M.

Yelp
Wonderful hidden gem off of I-70 in Silver Plume! The coffee shop is so open with natural light and comfy sitting areas. Great coffee and service! I highly recommend checking out.

Ayla B.

Yelp
Talk about a true gem! I'm so happy I visited Sliver Plume today to stumble into this coffee bar! The ambiance inside was so beautifully whimsical, boho, and cozy! I loved all of the decor! I never wanted to leave. Haha! I ended up ordering an iced tea with lavender added and it was the perfect, fragrant lavender for me. It wasn't overpowering and I felt the tea didn't need sweetening. It was lovely all on its own. The staff was excellent and I enjoyed my recommendation today! I look forward to visiting again sometime soon!

Will P.

Yelp
We stopped by in February while (what else) stuck in traffic on i70, and were super impressed by the cozy, friendly vibe and the amazing coffee. The owner is awesome, and spent a while talking to us about our vacation and various ski options nearby. 10/10 far better than sitting in traffic!

Ellie N.

Yelp
It's super duper cute inside. This gorgeous coffee shop stays on an unpaved road. It's kinda in the middle of nowhere. There are many abandoned houses nearby. I was surprised to find a nice coffee shop in a place like this. The coffee is great. Their baked goods are limited. The server (perhaps is also the owner) is very friendly.

Victoria D.

Yelp
Another winter season means trips to Plume coffee bar on the drive up. Amazing drinks. The friendliest staff and the cutest decor in the cutest town. They even had warm and filling breakfast burritos so you can start your activities fueled and ready to go. Highly recommend!

Hannah S.

Yelp
Plume Coffee Bar is like finding a hidden treasure! You'd never guess in the little town of Plume, CO that there would be the cutest coffee shop, ever. There is, though. And, it's the perfect road trip stop if you're heading to or from Breckenridge, CO from Denver, CO. Upon entering, we were completely stunned by it's aesthetics. It's beautifully decorated, and remains peaceful while feeling whimsical. In fact, it'd be the perfect lil' spot to cozy up with a book for the day or an amazing off the beaten path study hall for all my college students reading this post. We definitely could have been there for hours, just reading and sipping the day away. The owner of the shop makes your experience extremely inviting. She is a lovely woman who greets you with a smile, kind conversation and perfectly balanced latte. You can tell she loves what she does, and loves her shop! We cannot wait to stop at Plume Coffee Bar for road trips to come. :D

Gabriela L.

Yelp
Such an adorable mountain town coffee shop with beautiful views. While sipping my snickerdoodle latte, i saw a hummingbird feeding off the feeder outside the window. The barista was so nice! The snickerdoodle latte and coffee cake were delicious. There is plenty of seating and over all really cozy vibes. I will definitely come back. You can park anywhere on the street since there is not parking lot

Lydia A.

Yelp
Such an adorable little gem hidden away in the quiet town of Silver Plume. I stopped in for a hot chocolate after today's hike and the place was hopping! Everyone working was so nice, all super happy to be there and all very welcoming. It looks like they host events every now and then and today was bracelet making. The overall vibe is 10/10. Stickers and books to buy, historical books to read and friends to make. Highly recommend if you're driving by on the interstate.

Felix P.

Yelp
A true gem! Located on Main Street in small town of Silver Plume, CO. I was staying locally and went to this coffee shop every single day. The place is very well decorated. Chelsea is awesome and greeted everyone with a smile and awesome energy every single day. She also gave plenty of great recommendations of things to do in the area and always makes time for conversation with anyone who visits. Chelsea really makes you feel like you're part of the family. Pleny of options for coffee and everything I bought was delicious. They also have breakfast burritos as well. Give this place a stop and whenever I'm back in Colorado, I will make sure to stop here.

Sarah G.

Yelp
By far the best coffee in the entire area! Well worth the stop no matter where your journey is taking you The good: - The coffee! And all the drink options (chai, turmeric lattes, london fogs, etc.) - The hours! She is always consistently open during the posted hours, which is more than I can say for about 80% of the businesses in the area. They are also open earlier than any other coffee shop in the area. - The service?! The owner is almost always there and she is the kindest most helpful soul! Always chatting with anyone who comes in and gives them advice or history on the area. Love it! - SO CUTE. The interior (and exterior) is literally perfect, I love everything about it - Cute little things to buy as well, including local artistan work and pre-stamped post cards! - Bonfire burritos - Books on the history of the area scattered around - 1 block away from Bread Bar so you can go straight from coffee to alcohol The bad: - Wish they were open every day!

M B.

Yelp
The coffee and the burritos were all 5 star, as was the service. But that's not the REAL reason to visit this little hidden gem. The real reason to visit is the atmosphere/ vibe of the Plume is totally amazing- like 7 stars (out of 5.) Special shout out to Chelsea who made me feel almost like I was her long lost brother who had finally returned home. Wow is Chelsea and her helpers SO NICE. I know you, like me, have probably driven by at 75 MPH and wondered what Silver Plume is all about. The next time you need to feel some genuine hospitality and care, exit the funway and stop on by The Plume. You'll be so glad you caught a moment of serenity and sanity here.

Aria C.

Yelp
Adorable little coffee shop off of "main street" in Silver Plume. The coffee is good, atmosphere slightly quirky and cozy, and there is a lovely barista/owner who runs the place. She was telling us the story behind the old building that the coffee shop inhabits. I won't give away anything here. You'll have to go there to hear it for yourself. ;) Happy to have found this cool spot and we plan on stopping here whenever we're on our way to the mountains!

Peter Y.

Yelp
They have some baked goods and burritos for food if you're hungry. The decor is very adorable with games and a lot of seating creating a quaint and lovely mountain coffee house environment! We have never had to wait long going before 8 AM and they even had 2 baristas this time. Everyone is so nice. This is our go to coffee spot in the way to the mountains!

Jamie F.

Yelp
Adorable! The NiCEST people ever working in this place. The summertime sparkling fever tree grapefruit espresso was incredible. Great hummingbird watching. I can't wait to go back. A very happy place

Kassie T.

Yelp
This is a hidden gem. The coffee was delicious and our lattes were perfectly made! Just stopped through after going on the Georgetown train with our family. The owner was lovely and so friendly! I even picked up a last minute gift for my husband, it was a book of Colorado hikes. Definitely will stop by next time I'm in the area.

Maggie B.

Yelp
The best hidden gem in Clear Creek County! This shop, let alone the town, is full of history and mystery. Lots of charm, lovely towns people, and a warm, welcoming environment. Also, a great place to work from while getting ahead of Friday mountain traffic!

John F.

Yelp
Stopped by looking for a good chai and was greeted with a smile and great service. The Chai was perfect and if I get back this way I'm definitely coming back. Julie was the one that gave us the experience and assume she's the owner. Stop buy you won't be disappointed.

Jason F.

Yelp
This place is a delight! It's in a 150-person town right off the highway, and yet the coffee shop is full of life. Great place to stop and relax on your way to/from a hike, or to get some work done. Owner is super friendly and welcoming.

Kerry L.

Yelp
Absolute gem. Always a warm and friendly welcome, good coffee and cozy ambiance. One of our fav spots off 70

Paige S.

Yelp
The staff was so friendly and both of the drinks we got were incredible! Super cute inside as well. Definitely worth the stop!

Lisa N.

Yelp
The stars finally aligned and I visited Plume Coffee Bar! YES- it truly IS as hipster and adorable as the photos suggest. I can't get over the cute details and decor- I mean, seriously- just take a look. I ordered a seasonal autumn latte, my husband got a chai, and we split a breakfast burrito. All were delicious. This cute gem inside Silver Plume is worth your detour from I-70. My only downside is that it's open odd hours (too late to beat the ski traffic crowd, and only on weekends)- so you may need to plan around it.

Chelsea R.

Yelp
Do not miss out on this place on your way to and from Denver! We stopped here so I could breastfeed my infant and the atmosphere and people were exceptionally welcoming. The coffee was delicious and the place could not be cuter or more quaint. Literally sixty seconds off i70.

Sarah S.

Yelp
This coffee shop will surprise you. The historic building is located right off I70 -- literally situated on a dirt road. It's coffee shop perfection. Beautiful interior, gorgeous style and character.  We stumbled in on our way out to Buena Vista and were greeted by a friendly barista, and welcoming environment. We enjoyed fresh bagels (from a bakery in Evergreen, I believe), and deliciously smooth lattes. Plume Coffee Bar may officially be my favorite coffee shop in Colorado and I'll definitely make a point to stop by anytime we're passing through

Julie J.

Yelp
Friends, couple things: yes, they really do have fantastic coffee and particularly tasty treats, but there's something else that needs to be called out. The women who worked there today as we stopped midpoint through an arduous bike ride were extremely generous and gracious in sharing water with us. All three of them were so kind, friendly and supportive. We appreciate them and the very special atmosphere they created. Stop in for the great coffee and the beautiful human beings running this place. They will remind you that the world is a wonderful place.

Karl F.

Yelp
Fantastic coffee in a cool historical part of town. So glad we stopped. The owner is the barista and is very good, and friendly. The two rooms are decorated in very cool fashion. The owner custom mixes her flavorings from scratch.

Kavipriya K.

Yelp
Such a cute coffee shop in the middle of a terribly sleepy town. If you are here for the Georgetown train like us, definitely make a stop for coffee here. The cortado was amazing!!!!!! The barista was the sole person in the shop ( and maybe the sole person we saw in town) and was very sweet. The pastries were huge and looked delicious although we didn't try them. They actually brew kombucha in their store and it looked pretty good.

Amy O.

Yelp
This adorable coffee shop is definitely worth stopping at on your way up or down the hill! Great breakfast burritos! Homemade syrups make the latte second to none. I had never had a Lavender Latte before but it is definitely a new favorite! My son said his vanilla steamer was the best he has ever had! The owners Julie and Jake make the whole experience extra special! We will absolutely be back.

Rene S.

Yelp
Stopped in this coffee shop on our way through town- what a great place! It's in a very old CO town- on the Main Street- the shop is one of the cutest I've seen and the staff was so friendly, up beat and cheerful! We had the -made on the spot- lemonade with fresh lemon and peach- and a dirty chai- it was lovely! Right off the exit on I 70 and well worth it! We will stop again any time we are traveling this way!

Bridgett W.

Yelp
We arrived at 3:50pm and only choice was to order drip coffee (no hi, thanks for stopping by or any kind gesture). If the shop closes at 4pm then you should provide service to your customers until that time. What could have been a pleasant experience had us turning away with nothing.

Katelyn M.

Yelp
We stopped in here on our way out of Keystone to Denver. Adorable coffee shop, wonderful coffee. We loved our lattes.

Kathleen M.

Yelp
Plume Coffee Bar in Silver Plume CO is a great gem of a coffee shop right off I-70. It was the perfect afternoon stop after hiking and a day in Georgetown. Owner Julie also offers free puppuccinos for her guests' pups. Ours loved theirs!!!!

Andrew K.

Yelp
Gem! Really. Delicious coffee! There was no food After 11AM . I bet it's tasty, but unfortunately we missed it. Check it out.

Jessica S.

Yelp
We made the quick trip from Georgetown to Silver Plume to try out the Plume Coffee Bar. The owner was working, and both she and the other employee we both genuinely happy to serve us. They were both welcoming, friendly and informative. We had our dog with us (who got a puppacino) and there were families with kids there and other dogs. We had two lattes, a breakfast burrito and an apple strudel cake. Everything was delish! We enjoyed the relaxed atmosphere and were glad to support a local business. We even made a second trip there the next day! We highly recommend taking the time to stop in Silver Plume to grab a cup of joe!

Mike R.

Yelp
Delicious coffee in an old mining town building. Highly recommend. The iced mocha wasn't too sweet and the drip coffee was delicious. Not too bitter, not too mild. Just right. Check out the views of the surrounding mountains while sipping your coffee.

Katie C.

Yelp
I just stopped in after staying at the Windsor Hotel, before heading back down the mountain to my home in Aurora. And I'm just going to say I'm really upset that it's such a drive from home because I WOULD make this my go to coffee shop, even over Dutch bros which I'm addicted to. I LOVE the atmosphere. I got a vanilla latte and burrito. I use to be a barista so I'm a bit of a coffee snob but this latte was made perfectly and I'm TRYING to slowly drink it so it lasts me my drive back home. The breakfast burrito OMG if I wasn't already out of town I'd turn around and buy like 6 just to take with me. SOOOOO good ! Even if it's just a day trip up here I will definitely make a point to stop by! The owner was super kind and we had a nice lil convo about him buying the building and about mountain towns . If you are thinking " maybe next time" or " I'll go at least once before you leave " STOP THAT RIGHT NOW and go get your GO Juice ( whatever that may be) ! i regret not going the others days I was in town.

Liv C.

Yelp
Top notch. I had hot cider as I was caffeined out already. Also had a breakfast burrito which was amazing. Take a drive and support local business in Plume. I really liked going here and also the ambiance and atmosphere of the coffee shop itself. Highly recommend.

Alicia R.

Yelp
Stopped by Plume Coffee Bar right of the 70 on a road trip back to California, and I genuinely think I'd return to Colorado JUST for this place. I mean it when I say this is the best latte I've ever had. The baristas were warm and informed about coffee. My short visit was not just a transaction, but a whole experience, as the barista walked me through the menu and had me sampling their coffees. Also, I have to mention how gorgeous this spot is. Truly the definition of tranquility; a portion of the shop is essentially a library with seating. I love this place, already planning my trip back to CO!

Marco E.

Yelp
Perfectly set coffee shop in a charming town. Quality beans from Huckleberry roasters as well as other locally sourced products. The baristas are always kind, welcoming, and capable of wonderfully crafted cafe drinks. The "Plume Fog" being my favorite specialty.

Tara D.

Yelp
This is literally the essence of coffee shop (minus the hustle and bustle of a city). This gem is tucked away in the living ghost town that is silver plume. It's an old mining town and the history is apparent throughout the shop. Everything displayed inside Plume Coffee Bar was used at some time in the actual town. The space is bigger than you would expect and is so warm and inviting! There are multiple areas to lounge and enjoy your coffee. I personally wanted to kick back on the big turquoise couch and let the sun rays warm me while I sipped my latte. Alas, I ordered my Maple Latte to-go. Sometimes I find that coffee to-go is a risk of it not being as good as expected... but that was NOT the case here. I was pleased with my maple latte the entire drive home and kind of wanted to turn back for another. Next time I'll make sure to order two. The only regret I have is honestly not trying one of the pastries they had to offer *drool* the almond croissants looked so fluffy and crispy, I'm actually in shock that l walked out without one. Huge mistake, I'm sure. This amazing coffee shop is only open on the weekends right now and I know that I'll be making special trips here in the future. Because honestly, what beats fresh mountain air mixed with delicious coffee?

Laura Z.

Yelp
Stopped on a whim and they made us great drinks. Lots of care in making them and they are good. The tea leave are very fresh and I can taste that in my drink. The pour over coffee is definitely worth the wait. And it really wasn't a long wait. The building has such great character. Love the shovel shelves and mural.

Nidal J.

Yelp
Plume Coffee bar makes a fine coffee, with a wonderful atmosphere. I tried the cappuccino and the latte both were made with care and tasted great. Bjorn and the rest of the staff welcomes you like you are long time friend and treated us with such hospitality. They made recommendations about local attractions and even taught us about coffee. This is a treasure of a place and a must stop.

Alexis D.

Yelp
The most magical, charming, special coffee bar you may ever go to! Definitely worth the stop off highway 70. Wonderful coffee and customer service I can't wait to go back! :)

Graham K.

Yelp
Great coffee served with a smile. Highly recommended for a stop before or after skiing, or whatever else brings you to the area. Just make sure you check the hours - limited hours for now.....Cheers!

Lilian R.

Yelp
Absolutely must stop by here, amazing coffee, very IG worthy aesthetics, and even better customer service. For sure one of our top favorite coffee shops while visiting Colorado!

Haley B.

Yelp
This is hands down the cutest coffee shop I have ever been to. I was able to make the trip up from Denver pre-COVID and have been dying to go back ever since. The owner was super friendly, the local dogs wandered in and out and the vibe is amazing! I do hope they are able to reopen soon, and for more days!
