Yelp
This is advertised as a vegetarian/vegan restaurant but it's really a Thai vegan/vegetarian restaurant.
Reviews were excellent and it didn't disappoint!
Entering the restaurant, quite small but roomy enough, the ambiance is excellent; decor or simple, very Asian, serene. It makes you wanting to sit and spend time there!
Keep in mind that in the evening it may get cold inside since the keep the doors open for more ventilation and there is a draft; if you prefer to sit outside, on their makeshift patio, there are no heaters so a jacket is advisable either for indoor or outdoor dining. A suggestion to the owner(s): patio heaters would definitely add to the comfort of dining outside on a cold day/evening.
The menu is very simple (pics attached), yet covers many flavors. Drink menu also simple, a few choices of craft beer abs a couple of white or red wines by the glass.
Our server, Beez (I think that's his name), was super knowledgeable, forthcoming with his suggestions laced with a fantastic dose of humor! Always smiling, willing to bring whatever you needed.
Two entrees were ordered; the red curry with vegetables along with eggplant stir fry medium spiced. Both were super however my favorite was the eggplant dish. I have had many eggplant dishes in many Thai restaurants, some good some plain average; this one was simply the best I have ever had! From the correct amount of heat (I told them 6 to 7, on a scale 0-10, it was truly 6-7), to the flavorful chili peppers inside the dish tk the shredded ginger, this was one super loaded with flavor, nutritious fish! It was all gone in short order! Oh, I added the faux chicken, it was unreal! Tasted like a real
Another suggestion (other than bringing patio heaters) is to increase the amount of sauces available at the table. I wanted to have chili pepper oil for added spice to the rice, they only had chili peppers or Sriracha.
At any rate, this is an excellent restaurant, food is amazing, great ambiance. And Beez was equally excellent, too!
