"At 80 acres, the expansive Plymouth Township Park is one of the area’s best. It has sheltered gathering spots with fireplaces and grills, walking paths, children’s play areas, a fishing pond and dock, and four baseball diamonds. The park is adjacent to an 18-hole golf course. Reservations for shelters are first-come, first-serve. What to eat: Visit Mumbai Market for hot samosas, fresh veggies or spicy Indian snacks, and other groceries." - Monica Williams

I just adore this hidden gem. 🌳 ♒️ So relaxing and comfy. So much activity and enjoyment in this park. So many families and many community members wander around this great park. Many pathways for walking and trails in the woods. Ohh and the fishing 🎣 is pretty amazing too. I just love the fall colors this time of the year and the stream flows perfectly undercover of the trees. Enjoy the photos and stop by if you can!!

This is a great park to visit. It has two (2) play-scapes and a splash-scape. The original wooden structure that was built by the community still stands. They have a very nice modern play-scape there too. On top of that, there are some very large stands of trees that are very old. My daughter loved playing here today. Plenty of space to run around. It is worth a visit. It is very chill.

Only been here once as I live on the other side of the State, but what a PARK! We went for a bday party and there were 4-5 other party/events going. Splash place, old wood timber town playground, more modern playground, pond, paved trails. All FREE! Wish we had a park like this by us that was free. Bathrooms there too that were surprisingly clean.

No dogs allowed??? What does this place have against dogs? And honestly who goes to a park without dogs or kids? Super uncool. If you want ideas on how to make your park better, allow dogs! Very simple.

Yelp
Cute township, a lot of good food places, Kilwin's icecream is a must try place. Simply magical.

Yelp
We adore Plymouth Township Park! There's so much to do during any season. The big hill is perfect for sledding for older elementary aged kids and up and it's a bit less steep on the side for younger kids. There are trails to walk through with little streams and bridges and downed trees that are perfect for any season. The pond hosts ducks in the spring and summer which are fun to watch. There are plenty of picnic tables and pavilions to eat at or rent. Lots of different play structures are dotted around, our favorite being the large wooden one. There's even bunches and seating in the center. The best part is that there is a smaller toddler wooden park within the big one which is fenced with one entrance and exit right by the seating with swings. The highlight of the park, though, is the splash pad in summer. It's geared more towards young children and toddlers, probably kindergarten and below, but it's a lot of fun to spread a blanket in the shade while the kids play.

Yelp
I loved it, it was peaceful. Cops was around so I knew it was safe there. It's just a nice place to go to have fun with your kids and relax.

Yelp
Not pleased with the park grounds staff. The website clearly lists the park hours as 10am - 7:30pm but 2/8/2023 the grounds keeper "kicked out" (projecting with a bullhorn is not respectable for Plymouth) patrons at 6pm. On the first warm day in a long time, let the kids PLAY!

Yelp
This park has huge playgrounds, play structures, splash pad, walking trails with plenty of parking space. We went to this park on a weekend, it was over crowded so we left immediately. Overall the feel of the park was good. We did not explore much so cannot comment more.

Yelp
Beautiful park!! Plenty of parking and he spots are close to the playground with only a short walk. This is a beautiful park for several reasons. There are two play structures. One is a traditional playground with slides, monkey bars, and climbing areas. This one has a rubber floor to protect little ones. The other is a unique wooden structure. This one has different climbing areas and planets of swing and baby swings. There is mulch under this playground. There is a cute "train" in between the playground. I have a one year only that loves to play here and "drive" the train. Plymouth Park has a fantastic splash pad area. There are tall fountains and shorter ones. Perfect place for all ages. I'm not positive on the hours for the water. I've always been there during the late morning and it's on. There is plenty of grassy space around the splash pad. Bring your towels and have a picnic too! Overall- one of my favorite spots to take my little guy! Check it out before the summer is over!

Yelp
Perfect park for all ages! My family loves to get together here and bbq. They have bbq pits available so just bring the charcoal and food. The playscape is great with swings and slides. They also have a spray water park and bathrooms. There is a small creek in the middle of the park along with one big pond. Beautiful, relaxing park!!

Yelp
This is the ultimate playground. A wooden maze fort that has fence around 3 sides (relax reading while kiddos play and not get past you)! A new plastic area with two huge slides AND a splash pad! What more could you ask for? A walking path? GOT IT Peeps are very friendly too!

Yelp
What park doesn't allow dogs? I like how they have multiple signs saying no dogs allowed and that you will be ticketed. Seriously? No dogs in a park? However when we pulled up apparently bums are allowed. Hmmmm...way to go Plymouth.

Yelp
This park is our favorite. Beautifully kept grounds, the playgrounds are awesome, the splash pad is great.

Yelp
Very lovely park. Our kids really enjoyed playing on the large wood playground and exploring the nooks and crannies. We enjoyed finding shaded places to sit and watch them incorporated INSIDE the play area. So nice! We also checked out the spray park which was a lot of fun though our littlest was somewhat intimidated by it. The secret gem for our kids was the creek running around the back of the play area. They waded through there, moved stones around to create little dams, checked out water bugs and crayfish skeletons, and splashed about. Just a note of caution (I'm a water scientist), do make sure to wash up after playing in any small, warm streams; they are hot beds of ecoli. There were nice bathroom facilities at the site so we just headed over there after we were done at the stream, washed up, and used hand sanitizer as a fail safe. We will definitely be going back and bringing friends!

Yelp
Amazing fireworks! Simply breathtaking!! The park had ideal accommodations such a great view from the hill as well as organized traffic flow both before and after the event. Kudos to those directing traffic. Perfect night out for the family or date night.

Yelp
Love this park for young children. They can run around in a safe environment. The playscape is mostly enclosed and there is also a stream, walking paths and even a large pond you are able to fish in.

Yelp
Fantastic! What better way to spend the day than an amazing old fashioned FREE family picnic!? Music! Hotdogs! Ice cream! Oh my! The grounds are gorgeous! Kudos Plymouth Twp, keep up the good work! I enjoyed the bike parade! Very festive!

Yelp
I found this park by accident while driving home after a long work day commute. The greenery, benches, walking trails and ponds were calling my name. When I returned with my family in tow, they too shared my enthusiasm! This park is serene and filled with the right mix of activities and nature for all to appreciate. Today we visited the park, found a shady picnic table, popped open the iPad to listen to music on Pandora, then engaged in a few rounds of friendly dominoes! It was a perfect day for me and my fellas! Simply and blissful!

Yelp
Wow, I found a Peewee's Playhouse for my grandgirls...a wooden castle. When my son was a child, we lived in Sarasota which is where Paul Reuben aka Peewee Herman grew up. Also the city where he devastated his career for many years after being arrested in a XXX rated theater. So sad! We loved the Peewee character. Some years prior, Peewee Paul had donated a large wooden castle play structure to his elementary school in Sarasota which we discovered and my son played in when school was not in session. I was so happy to find one of these again after donating to the one in north Chicago in which my son played until we moved to Sarasota. So now in a different state, my third discovery of one of these treasures just in time for the grandgirls. Not too far from northeast Ann Arbor where we live. Great find after simply looking for a Plymouth park to eat my Thai Cafe takeaway. It's raining but it's a great day! I also have a brand new Plymouth hair stylist. Woohoo!
