My husband and I recently had our wedding at Poachers Pantry, and we had the most incredible experience. The venue and garden grounds are absolutely stunning, and the reception restaurant created the perfect atmosphere for an unforgettable evening. The service, food, and drinks were all exceptional. A special thank you to Lauren, the General Manager, who was a pleasure to work with. She brought my wedding vision to life with such professionalism, care and dedication. Nothing was ever too much trouble and she made everything happen seamlessly behind the scenes. I cannot thank Lauren and the entire Poachers team enough for making our wedding day so memorable. We can’t wait to return to Poachers for years to come!

Delightful meal in an idyllic setting. Top notch service. Really, this was all just lovely. We did the chef's tasting menu with wine and added sides + pork cheeks. The beef and salad were my least favorite but everything else was absolutely delicious, well prepared, and beautiful.

My sisters and I began our annual getaway with a long lunch at Poachers Pantry, and it was the perfect way to set the tone for the weekend. From the moment we arrived, the service was flawless—attentive, knowledgeable staff who clearly take pride in what they do. The food was nothing short of exceptional. We opened with delicately poached scallops and house-smoked chicken, each dish beautifully balanced and full of flavour. For mains, the Byron Bay pork cheek and Wagyu beef loin were both cooked to perfection, complemented by sides of salt and vinegar fries and shaved Florence fennel that elevated the experience further. Dessert was a triumph: a nostalgic yet refined bread and butter pudding and a stunning blackberry, almond, and vanilla parfait that was as beautiful as it was delicious. Before leaving, we explored the farm shop, picking up duck breast, smoked chicken, an exquisite selection of cheeses, and a silky quince paste. A few bottles of their Chardonnay also made their way home with us—too good to resist. Poachers Pantry delivered a dining experience that was indulgent yet grounded, and truly memorable. Another wonderful lunch at Poachers Pantry yesterday, the wonderful service and seasonal menus bring us back every time. Stand out dishes for us this time around being the cod, goat and pumpkin, deliciousness.

Made our third visit to Poachers Pantry for lunch to celebrate our wedding anniversary today. The service was really efficient and friendly; I thought it was great having a new staff member being introduced to us and 'shadowing' a more experienced team member, a sign of a healthy workplace culture with training a priority. The food was magnificent; we particularly enjoyed the Parisian gnocchi and my husband declared the sheeps yoghurt tart the 'best cheesecake of his life'. The garden is looking beautiful at the moment. Highly recommend Poachers Pantry for a special lunch; its friendly, relaxed atmosphere is refreshing and the food is simply wonderful. We'll be back.

Today was my first visit in around 6 months, and it's safe to say things have only improved! The food is framed around quality ingredients and honest portion sizes. The dishes are complex and interesting, without being pretentious. To fight off the food coma, I took a stroll around the surrounds with my family. We couldn't settle on a family photo location. This isn't a poor reflection on my family. It's more that there are so many beautiful spots to pick from. It's probably the best time of year to enjoy this unique country dining experience. Highly recommend!

We enjoyed a lovely Sunday lunch! We were seated outside on a pet friendly table to accommodate our dog. The food was excellent and the sparkling and wine superb. The young waiter was very friendly and knowledgeable. All in all, it exceeded our expectations!

Review for the store/pick up only - Maybe not their fault, but this place was suggested to us by someone at one of the vineyards and we were hoping to buy some fresh, local fish or meat to take back and enjoy for dinner. It was mid-afternoon, before dinner, and the one man working didn't have a lot of knowledge of the product they were selling and much of it wasn't done in house, but brought in from elsewhere. So maybe it's not their fault I expected something different, but we'd been hopeful to have fresh, local fish smoked or cured and there wasn't much to choose from. That being said, the location is gorgeous. We definitely stopped and took pictures and it was being set up for what I'm certain was a gorgeous wedding. The bits of food we did buy were pretty tasty, but it just wasn't what I was hoping it would be.
