Here’s a Google review you could leave for Pouches Pantry: Absolutely stunning venue I had the pleasure of DJing a wedding at Pouches Pantry, and I was blown away by the experience. The outdoor setting was absolutely incredible, creating the perfect atmosphere for a magical celebration. The staff were super friendly and accommodating, making everything run smoothly. And the food—just amazing! Highly recommend this venue for weddings and special events. Highly Recommend Would you like to add anything personal about the music setup or overall vibe?

What a beautiful lunch it was ! It was recommended by a family friend and it certainly didn’t disappoint. We didn’t know what to expect but left pleasantly surprised . Dishes are decent in portion size and you won’t leave the place feeling hungry . You know you’re in for a good feed when you start off the meal with a warm bread roll and this amazing whipped butter . So good ! Compliments to the chef and thank you Jack for your service. Would love to come back again !!

Firstly I want to give a shout out to the chef, this is the best food I have ever eaten. And to the staff excellent customer service. We are from QLD and I would make the trip just to go back and eat here. Please pass my thanks on to everyone especially the Chef 10/10

Today was my first visit in around 6 months, and it's safe to say things have only improved! The food is framed around quality ingredients and honest portion sizes. The dishes are complex and interesting, without being pretentious. To fight off the food coma, I took a stroll around the surrounds with my family. We couldn't settle on a family photo location. This isn't a poor reflection on my family. It's more that there are so many beautiful spots to pick from. It's probably the best time of year to enjoy this unique country dining experience. Highly recommend!

We recently held our wedding at Poachers Pantry, and overall, it was a wonderful experience that we will always cherish. There were several standout aspects that made the day incredibly special, but there were also a few areas where improvements could enhance the experience for future couples. What We Loved: Amazing Food: The food was absolutely exceptional. Every dish, from the beautifully prepared mains to the delectable canapés, was fresh, flavorful, and perfectly executed. Many of our guests commented on how outstanding the meal was, and it truly elevated the day to something unforgettable. Beautiful Location: The venue itself is stunning. Surrounded by rolling hills and picturesque countryside, Poachers Pantry offered the perfect backdrop for our ceremony and photos. The rustic charm combined with modern touches made it feel elegant and relaxed all at once. The gardens and grounds are beautifully maintained, and we were lucky to have such lovely scenery to celebrate in. Friendly Staff: The staff were attentive and professional throughout the entire planning process and on the day itself. From initial inquiries to coordinating logistics, they were accommodating and genuinely friendly, making the experience much less stressful for us. Things That Could Be Improved: Seasonal Price Increase: While we understood that prices might increase due to seasonal factors, the final adjustments were more significant than we anticipated. This increase also included additional items that were not originally outlined. Clearer communication about these changes would have helped us better plan our budget and avoid surprises. Rushed Schedule: The day itself felt slightly rushed in places. While we appreciated the effort to keep things moving smoothly, certain moments—like transitioning from the ceremony to photos and then into the reception—felt a bit hurried. It would have been great to have more time to enjoy each part of the day without feeling like we had to move on too quickly. Inflexible Package Options: We wanted to include a late-night snack option, such as having some sandwiches available for guests toward the end of the evening. However, we were advised that this option could only be provided if it was done for all 107 guests, which felt unnecessarily restrictive. A bit more flexibility in this regard would allow couples to personalize their day more effectively. Final Thoughts: Despite these minor challenges, we had a truly memorable day at Poachers Pantry. The combination of amazing food, a gorgeous setting, and warm, helpful staff created a celebration we will treasure forever.

Incredible dining experience! We attended the Truffle Dinner in June and it was a 10/10 dining experience. Every course was oh so delicious, and the addition of the option of a dry beverage pairing for each course was an unexpected delight! The truffles were fragrant and punchy and complimented each course perfectly— most surprisingly— the dessert!! We were sat by the fire, which elevated the dining experience and we could have sat there all evening. The service was outstanding! We will definitely be back to try the lunch menu and enjoy the views during the daylight!

Poacher's pantry was a fantastic wedding venue! Stunning location, delicious food, and lovely wine. Lauren (wedding manager) was incredibly organised, helpful, and wonderful to work with. Thank you Poacher's pantry (and particularly Lauren) for being such an integral part of our special day and making it all run so smoothly.

Always a bit of a favourite spot of ours for a wine tasting or weekend lunch, Poacher's Pantry was the most perfect venue for when our wedding came along. Adam and the Poacher's team were fabulous, making us feel so relaxed and looked after on the day and in the lead up throughout the planning phase. The food was a real highlight and the grounds are spectacular for photos, particularly around sunset. Raving review from all the guests and us two very happy newlyweds. Cannot recommend more.

Yelp
Review for the store/pick up only - Maybe not their fault, but this place was suggested to us by someone at one of the vineyards and we were hoping to buy some fresh, local fish or meat to take back and enjoy for dinner. It was mid-afternoon, before dinner, and the one man working didn't have a lot of knowledge of the product they were selling and much of it wasn't done in house, but brought in from elsewhere. So maybe it's not their fault I expected something different, but we'd been hopeful to have fresh, local fish smoked or cured and there wasn't much to choose from. That being said, the location is gorgeous. We definitely stopped and took pictures and it was being set up for what I'm certain was a gorgeous wedding. The bits of food we did buy were pretty tasty, but it just wasn't what I was hoping it would be.
